I am Leah and you are live with a Newsround so good you will be

telling everyone about it. As Beyonce admits miming by the

President we look at the others who have been caught out by lip

synching. I am in Somerset where the clean up operation to save

hundreds of sea birds is under way. First, to drama on England's south

coast. Over 100 sea birds, mostly guillemots, have been found washed

up on a number of beaches covered in a waxy, glue-like slime. Charity

workers from the RSPCA are working hard to rescue those they had found

alive. Several birds have died. There may be many more affected by

the spillage. It is all happening on the south coast of England. Most

of the birds were found at Chesil Beach in Dorset. Others were found

as far away as the Isle of Wight and West Sussex. The a lot of birds

had been taken to an RSPCA centre and Joe is there now. How is the

clean-up operation going? This is the cleaning room and it is only

one of a few in the country that can deal with this sort of thing.

These are just two birds of about 100 that have been brought in over

the last 24 hours. How is it going? It is going very well, so we are

pleased with the cleaning process. We are breaking down the

contaminant with margarine. Then we are cleaning that off. What would

happen if we did not take them off the beach and clean the birds?

barrier between them and the environment. A lot of them could
