Ayshah here with your round up of the latest stories you need to know

this afternoon. On the way: Justin Bieber's latest album misses the top

40 and we check out the latest gadgets revealed at a major tech

show in Las Vegas. First, many parts of the UK are

still at risk of flooding today as large waves continue to batter the

coasts of southern and western Britain. There are more than 100

flood warnings across the country, with heavy rain forecast for south

and south-east England. There are three severe warnings in Dorset,

which means there's a danger to life. In the Welsh coastal town of

Aberystwyth, one of the worst-hit areas, people are starting to clear

up the mess that's been caused by the storm. Newsround has been

speaking to children living there. Some of them had to leave their

homes for safety. On Friday night, we were evacuated. Me and my sisters

had to go to my grandmothers. I wasn't scared. There were bricks and

stones everywhere. I was really upset because we play on the front a

lot in the summer. Everything was blown up. Everything was just

damaged. All the railings were knocked off and the tiles were blown

away, the flower beds were wrecked. There was sand all over the road.

They must have been a huge storm. And Jenny has been down there all

day watching the clear up. How long do you think it will take until

things are back to normal? We've only just started today. We are

starting on the clearing and we don't know how long it is going to

take until we get into the work. It will take weeks to do the work and

longer to do the repairs afterwards. Over on the other side of the

Atlantic Ocean, the Arctic blast that's sweeping across North America

is now heading east towards New York. Half of the US has been

affected by the windy chill, with people being told their skin could

freeze if they go outside! In one part of mid America, temperatures

have hit minus 30 degrees Celsius. Forecasters say it hasn't been this

cold in 20 years. And you can check out some stunning

pictures of America's big freeze right now over on the Newsround

website. There are some incredible scenes there.

Next, some of the freshest gadgets on the planet are being shown off in

America right now. There's loads on offer from bendy TVs to the latest

smartphone technology. So we got Ricky and Leah to take a look and

bring you the highlights. 5,000 miles away, gadget lovers in

Las Vegas are getting very excited about the latest must have, shiny

new things. It happens every year and while there's so much on offer.

Sit back and let us bring you the most talked about technology. This

is the Mother. Why? Well, thanks to these sensors it can monitor most

things around the house from whether you've brushed your teeth to what

time you get home from school. It gathers the data and downloads it

onto a computer. So your parents know just how long you've really

spent cleaning your teeth. Take a look at the latest drone flying high

above the sky in Las Vegas. Experts reckon these unmanned arial vehicles

will have more uses in the future, from monitoring crops on farms to

helping search and rescue teams. 2014 is the year of the curve.

Samsung showed off this huge TV with a bendy screen which they believe

gives you a better view of your favourite shows. Finally these sport

enthusiast got to try out the latest wearable tech from sweat proof head

phones, smart headbands that measure your pulse and my favourite, the ear

phones that apparently will never fall out no matter what you do. But

we've come up with something that's not on show in Las Vegas this year.

The toilet roll speakers. And best of all it will cost you nothing.

Last up, is Justin Bieber losing his touch? His latest album has failed

to make the UK Top 40! Journals has peaked at only number 46 in the

charts. It was released in a slightly different way, with a

different track coming out each week over three months. All of the

Canadian singer's previous albums have made the top 20.

Now we had to show you this next footage. We've all heard the jokes

about why the chicken crossed the road. Well, these chickens, should

they want to, can now cross a little bit more safely maybe. Thanks to one

of these hi-vis jackets! The company behind them claim they keep the

chickens warm and dry and make it easier for owners to see where they

are during the dark winter nights. The coats even come in two colours,
