oldest hip hop crew in the world. And your favourite Helen Skelton

since Prince George. After two years of waiting, experts at Edinburgh Zoo

say there are strong indications that Tian Tian the panda is

pregnant. If she is, the cub will be the first giant panda to be born in

the UK. Martin's been at the zoo to find out more. Tian Tian and Yang

Guang are the first giant pandas to live in the UK for 17 years, and

since they moved into Edinburgh Zoo they've become two of Scotland's

biggest celebrities. But today they're even more popular than

usual, because keepers here think that the female panda, Tian Tian,

might be pregnant. If she does have a baby it'll be the first time a

giant panda cub has ever been born in Britain. For the species it is

very important. Both pandas are here as an extension of the captive

breeding programme. There are so few of them left. Any new cub is

incredibly important. The pandas were given to the zoo in Scotland

from the Chinese government in 2011. They're only there on loan for ten

years, and each year the zoo has to pay �600,000 to keep them. But since

the star attractions have arrived, visitor numbers have gone up by 50%.

It's a big achievement for us to get pandas in the first place. If we

were to have cubs, it would be the first in the UK. There is a bit of a

buzz about it and everyone is excited. If a cub is born it will

officially belong to China, so will have to go back when the loan is up.

Tian Tian and Yang Guang have already tried to mate twice, so the

keepers hope this time will be successful. To California now, where

over 1,000 people have been forced to flee their homes because of wild

fires. More than 20homes have already been destroyed by the blaze,

which has been spreading quickly because of the hot winds in the

region. It's the second big fire to hit the area this summer, and

experts say it could be the worst to hit the area in history. Next, after

five years, CBBC's very own Helen Skelton has announced she's leaving

Blue Peter. The presenter will leave along with her pet dog Barney at the

end of September. Yesterday we revealed that the 37th Blue Peter

presenter will be Radzi Chinyanganya from CBBC's Wild. And lots of you

have been sending us your favourite moments from Helen's time on the

show. Hannah, from Cheshire, says, I really enjoyed the tight rope walk!

Blue Peter will never be the same without you. And Aidan, from Dudley,

says, my favourite moment was when she went to fly with the Red Arrows

because I love them. Thanks for sending all those in! Time to

introduce you to the world's oldest hip hop crew. They're called Hip

Operation and are made up of 37 senior citizens aged between 66 and

96 years old. Ricky's been checking When they came and asked me to come

I said, no, I can't move my legs. They said, that's OK, we will put

you in a wheelchair. I started off just wanting to get the older people

out of their houses and dancing in the street. So I went around and

approached anyone who were 65 years or over and had a pulse! We like a

family now. It's amazing, every week and every month we seem to get

closer. So do the crew always get on? There's no big dramas. All the

time I have to tell them to stop calling me after 11pm. This weekend

they're travelling to Las Vegas to take part in the World Hip Hop Dance

Championships. They face stiff competition, so are they nervous?

No, not a bit of it. And to old to be nervous! That's all from me, but
