Hi, Leah here with Wednesday's top stories. On today's show: we get a

sneak peek inside Hampden Park. The amazing pictures taken by a

ten-year-old photographer from Iraq. But first, it's already been a big

morning for Team GB at the Paralympics in Sochi. Jade

Etherington has got herself on course for her third medal of the

winter games. She came first in her opening run of the Slalom. She

already has a silver and bronze medal to her name. 15-year-old

Millie Knight, who is due back at school next week, completed the

course with ease, she's in sixth place. But British super-G champion

Kelly Gallagher fell during her run again today. The second run takes

place in 15 minutes. Autism is a condition that affects

around 500,000 people in the UK. People with autism can have problems

relating to others and making sense of the world around them. But now

British scientists have come up with a high tech approach to help, by

using robots. Meet Casper. He might look a bit and usual but this human

I'd robot is helping young children living with autism. For kids with

autism, sometimes even the simplest thing like knowing when someone is

happy or sad can be a big challenge. The condition can also make it very

difficult for them to talk and play with other people. But here at this

special school in Hertfordshire, they have a new robotic teacher

helping the kids to learn. Four-year-old Byron gets to play

with Casper every week. Hello, Byron, I am Casper. Scientists say

kids with autism like the robot's simple features and repetitive

phrases. The good thing is he has exactly the same expression and

sound every single time. Can you make Casper have a happy face? In

the last six months, teachers here say they have noticed an improvement

in the way the children communicate. Now researchers are working hard to

further develop Casper. Engineers are using the latest technology to

bring these robots to life. They are even using a 3-D printer to create

these plastic body parts. Later this year, 20 new robots will be given to

parents and schools across the UK and it is hoped Casper will help

children with autism make new friends, go to school and understand

the world around them a bit better. And you've been sending us in your

robot designs. Jasmine from Chigwell in Essex has created Rainbow

Blaster, the robot that glows and changes colour to remind you that

something important is about to happen, so you don't forget. And

Craig from Flintshire has made these Spring Bots, who can hang out the

washing and clean windows - very handy!

Next, Glasgow is gearing up for the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and has

completely transformed it's stadium, Hampden Park, with a brand new

athletics surface. This is Scotland's national football

stadium which is undergoing something of a transformation so it

can host the track and field events at the Commonwealth Games this

summer. Everything looks pretty much normal but what you can't see is

below my feet are 6000 stilts just like this one. The whole of the

ground of the stadium has been raised up. These are supporting

17,000 tonnes of ground and decking. The turf is already down to host

events like jazz and, discus and shot put. The track will go down

next month. It is made of this rubbery surface. Tracks all around

the world are made of the same stuff. The organisers still have a

bit of work to do on this place but they have until the 23rd of July to

get it all perfect. The Commonwealth games start in 133 days time.

Arsenal have been knocked out of the Champions League after drawing 1-1

against German side Bayern Munich. Lukas Podolski scored Arsenal's

leveller but it wasn't enough and the Gunners lost 3-1 on aggregate.

Tonight Man City travel to Spain to take on Barcelona.

You might think the pictures behind me were taken by an adult, but they

actually belong to a 10-year-old boy from Iraq, whose just been described

as the country's youngest professional photographer. Qamar

Hashim, who has won awards for his professional style, tours the

streets of Baghdad to capture people and scenic spots. That's all from
