This is Newsrond. It's Friday, 12th October. Leah and

Joe brining you some of this: Egypt Find out which Strictly star has

already slipped up with an injury! And the technology allowing

disabled kids to play games. First, should you be able to vote

from the age of 16? At the moment you're kept out of the polling

station until you hit your 18th birthday. But Scotland's government

are about to change that. They're set to finalise plans to let 16 and

17-year-olds have their say on whether Scotland should separate

Turning 16 is a big deal. You can leave school. You can work full

time and pay taxes. You can join the army. You can even get married!

Yet, you still can't vote. On Monday the Prime Minister, David

Cameron, and Alex Sammond, The Fist Minister of Scotland are due to

sign an agreement that will let 16 and 17-year-olds in Scotland vote.

Young adults will get the chance to take part in the vote on whether

Scotland stays part of the UK. So why the change and what will this

mean? We got the BBC's Scotland correspondent to tell us more.

for the first time politicians are going to be directly targeting

younger voters. They're wanting the vote of pupils who are as young as

14 years old. So it's likely that in this campaign there will be more

use of social media like Twitter and Facebook to persuade people one

way or the other. Already some politicians in London are saying

this will put pressure on other parts of the UK to lower the voting

age and campaigners from the Scottish Youth Parliament here say

that is what should happen that young people have a right to have a

say in the important decisions of the future. So how do kids in

England feel about these possible changes? Not all 16 year olds are

very mature Coulstock I think we should wait until 18. I would want

to vote when I looked high-school if I could. Six Dean is a bit young,

you are still learning. Just because Scotland want to be a

different country, does not mean we cannot vote as well. Lowering the

voting age is something that campaigners have argued for, for

years. We don't have a voice. People are speaking on RPE hoc.

They are giving us what they think we want. Campaigning for the right

to vote isn't a new thing. Women in Britain weren't allowed to vote

until 1918, and then you still had to be over 30. Women had to wait

another ten years to get equal voting rights to men. The plans are

just for Scotland and only for one vote. But people are already

calling for 16-year-olds all over the UK to get their say on future

vote too. Wayne Rooney has said he'll keep

his cool on the pitch tonight as he captains England in their World Cup

qualifying match. He's said he's matured as a player

and wants the team to make the headlines for the right reasons.

The side will be facing San Marino who are the world's worst ranked

team! Wales are also in action against Scotland.

Talking of Wayne, he won the BBC's Young Sports Personality Award ten

years ago. Since then the likes of Ellie Simmonds and Tom Daley have

been crowned winners! The award is for outstanding sports

personalities under 16. Nominations are open to public so head to the

year. Next to Egypt. A campaign is

underway to boost tourism after pictures of protests were beamed

all around the world during the Egyptian revolution. The country

has always been a popular holiday destination but protests and scenes

of violence against the government in 2011 put off a lot of travellers.

Now they plan to win holiday makers back. Ricky's got more.

Fancy a holiday to Egypt? You might expect some of this. Sun, sea, sand

and of course, the Pyramids. But what about this?! And that's the

problem. Every year Egypt's ancient monuments pull in loads of tourists.

But 2011 changed that. Millions of Egyptians hit the streets to

protest. They were fed up of being treated unfairly by the government

and had one demand. For President, Hosni Mubarak, to stand down.

Eventually he did but not before violence erupted between his

supporters and those who wanted him out. Night-after-night news reports

screened pictures of huge demonstrations in the country's

capital, Cairo. That's put some holiday makers off, with numbers

down this year. It's bad news for those who depend on money from

tourists at places like the pyramids. To try and attract

holiday-makers ministers have opened up one of the pyramids along

with six newly-restored ancient tombs. Officials say the country is

now a safe place to visit. Egypt is safe and secure and ready to

receive any visitors who might come here. A year on from Egypt's

revolution, tourists are slowly returning. There are reports of

smaller protests breaking out against the new government. But

those who depend on money from tourism will be hoping that this is

the Egypt we remember. Denise Van Outen's performance on

Coulstock The computer games industry is

changing to make gaming more accessible to kids with

disabilities. Charities say the big names in games are recognising not

all players are the same and are helping to develop new ways to

bring top titles to more living rooms. And as I've been finding out,

some of the new technology is pretty impressive.

Computer games. Fast and bond but everyone, right? Maybe not. The

majority of are too fast, too fiddly and too difficult for people

with disabilities to play. But thanks to the latest technology,

these guys can use it. Chloe struggles with her balance, but at

this charity it does not stop there. She has been working with gaming

companies to make sure they produce the latest releases. This game is

perfect because he is controlling the car with her eyes. It does not

stop there. By altering computer software and controls, charities

like this one make it possible to play with your feet and your chin.

Gavin and his team say it is important for every child to play

computer games, to make friends and improve co-ordination. And the

industry is starting to listen. Everybody we speak to a quite

receptive. We make some suggestions, and generally they take them on

board. So the industry as a whole is friendly and we will get there.

Rees is football-mad and until recently his arable Polzeath

prevented him from playing football games with his dad. But not any

more. I will get him back in a minute. Do you think they are doing

in a? It is always saying more could be done, but it is getting

better. He gets a lot of enjoyment out of it. It wouldn't happen if he

did not have this. Charities like there's no that making a top name

titles for every one costs money, but it looks like things could be

moving in the right direction. That game was so much done because

you are controlling it with your eyes. People are chatting to you...

The oldest roller coaster in the UK could be lost forever if action

isn't taken soon, according to the English Heritage.

The dream Lhanbryde was built in 1919 but was damaged by fire a few

years ago. The organisation who look out for important old sites in

the UK say it's just one of nearly 6,000 historic buildings. Just time

to tell you about this guy, Patrick the lobster. He was saved from the

cooking pot by a fish merchant. He's nearly a metre long and

experts reckon he could be 50 years old! He's been donated to Bristol

Aquarium! And just before we go, have you
