On the way this morning... Searing heat stops play at the Australian

Open. Manchester City batter Blackburn in the FA Cup. And we

bring you twin baby polar bears. This is Newsround. First, to the

severe heatwave that's been raging through Australia. Temperatures have

soared over 40 degrees Celsius again. And the extreme heat has

forced the organisers of the Australian Open Tennis in Melbourne

to stop the tournament. Players had been using ice packs in a desperate

bid to keep cool, but in the end the heat was too much. And all players

were told to finish their current sets and come off court. They are 11

hours ahead, so it's just gone 6:30pm in the evening there. Play is

due to get started again in a couple of hours, in time for Andy Murray's

match later this morning. Number three seed Maria Sharapova battled

through three and a half hours of searing heat to win her match. Did

you think it was unsafe to play in those conditions? You are not

thinking about whether it was safe or not, you are trying to get

through the match in the best possible way. You are trying to make

it as safe as possible. The BBC's Jon Donnison is in Melbourne. He

sent this report a bit earlier on. Just coming up to midday and the

temperatures are already up around 40 degrees. We are told today it

could get to 44 Celsius. Behind me are a few kids playing in the

Fountain. The fans are doing what they can to cool down.

We have come out now to the outer courts. There are a couple of games

going on either side of me. If you look at the seating, it is

interesting. There are lots of empty seats. You wonder if it is too hot

for spectators to sit for any length of time. The thing you need here is

an umbra love. Here it is for the heat. For the players, this week,

they are not happy. They have been passing out on court, vomiting. A

number of players have simply dropped out. If they can, people are

trying to find shade. It is like a sauna. These two ladies probably

have the best leagues in the house, right in front of these, which are

pumping out cold, misty air. I, for now, I'm going to join them.

Absolute lists. Apple has agreed to give millions of pounds back to

parents in America, whose children ran up massive bills by making

in-app purchases. Some apps can be downloaded for free but then charge

you to continue in the game or buy things like lives, without you

realising or needing your parents' permission. The decision to refund

customers almost ?20 million in all, will only take place in the States.

Here, the company's almost always refunded parents who have complained

about massive bills from their kids gaming purchases. Apple will also

need to change things so you have to have permission before you make an

in-app purchase with your parents' permission. It was another

goal-packed night for Manchester City as they hammered Blackburn to

easily nail their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup. The

score was 5-0 at the Etihad. Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko each scored

twice. City have now scored 99 goals in all competitions, so far, this

season. It is a very good moment. It is very important for the team for

Sergio to score. We have so many games in the future that we do not

have a problem with that. Next, to a proper pair of cuties. These twin

polar bear cubs were born just five weeks ago at a zoo in Germany. And

they have been caught on camera for the first time. Zoo keepers in

Munich haven't worked out yet if they're brothers or sisters. Both

cubs are being looked after very well by their mum, Giovanna. If you
