Hi, guys, Ricky here with news of the smoking sea island that's

appeared out of nowhere and the tiger and bear who are best buds.

It's Newsround. Let's start with a Royal request for

you to do more to help others. Prince Charles has been launching a

special campaign today to encourage more children and young people to

volunteer. He wants at least half of all kids, aged ten and over, to

start helping out in their local community. Martin's been finding out

what you think of the plans. Volunteering. It's about giving up

your time to help others. And it could be anything from helping out

as an RNLI lifeboat rescuer to doing things for old people or lending a

hand at afterschool clubs. But are enough of you guys doing it? At the

moment, just under three in ten young people volunteer and the

country's future king wants it to be more. Today, the Prince of Wales

launched a campaign at Buckingham Palace to get more young people

helping others - along with our Prime Minister and the two other

major big political leaders. To challenge, inspire and motivate

young people in the service of others and in so doing, help to

build their character, self-confidence and self-esteem and

develop their individual potential. The aim is to get half of all young

people, aged 10 to 20, doing some volunteering by the year 2020. Now

some of you might be thinking - giving up your time for free - hang

on, why should I bother? It is about getting out and meeting other

people. It is about learning skills like being on time and how to run

projects. It is about meeting other young people. We help out at Guides

with old people who have got Christmas trees. It makes you feel

really proud that you have helped someone else with their life. I

would like to see more teaching about it at school so people are

prepared and then they know what it is all about. These guys give up

their spare time to be playground Buddies so whether you think it is

your time or whether you think it is not worth your while, from today

Prince Charles want you to explore the option of doing voluntary work

in your spare time. Next, how much do the worries of day

to day life stress you out? According to a new survey, hundreds

of kids say they can't get a good night's sleep because of concerns

about things like exams, bullying or family problems. Around 700 children

took part in the research by YouGov and almost six in ten said they felt

stressed at least once a week. Many say they lose out on sleep, miss

meals, or stop seeing friends because of how they feel.

Well, you've been telling us what makes you feel stressed over on the

Newsround website all day. Jay in Harrow says it's his sister. And

Zara and Emily both say homework and school. As do the kids of Class 8C

in Hereford who say, "Having too much homework means you can't relax

when you get home but to beat it we watch TV or play on the computer."

But Simone in Bristol's told us, "My appearance makes me stressed because

it's hard to keep up with fashion and if you don't, you're not cool."

And if you do feel stressed about anything, there's loads of help and

advice over on the Newsround website plus tips on how to cope.

Moving on - the world's newest island has appeared - as if from

nowhere - in the sea around Japan. A Japanese Navy ship spotted this

smoking landmass rumbling up out of the ocean. Experts say it's been

caused by a volcanic eruption that shifted the seabed around and forced

it above the surface. They're waiting for it to cool before taking

a closer look and haven't named it yet because it could still slip back

under. Big news for all you gamers now. The

Xbox One officially goes on sale tonight! The new console's being

released in 13 countries from midnight. That's a week before

rivals Sony launch the Playstation 4. So what's the Xbox like to play?

The BBC's Mark Cieslak got a sneak peak. As far as the games are

concerned, there are some obvious improvements. There is a greater

number of lighting effects. Overall, there's more detail in all the

on-screen images and the graphics feel smoother as you would expect

from a brand-new home console. Finally, to the amazing pictures

that show some of nature's most fearsome beasts can be mates. This

is Baloo the bear snuggling with his tiger Shere Khan. They live with Leo

the Lion at an animal sanctuary in America. In the wild, the species

would always fight each other but keepers say this trio just love

hanging out together. That's it for now, but there's loads
