First to showbiz news, and the biggest music stars

in the UK are getting ready for a huge event happening

in the next couple of hours - the Brit Awards.

BBC entertainment correspondent Lizo Mzimba is live for us there now.

A huge amount of anticipation tonight for the stars, including the

UK's biggest gold band, Little Mix, who are up for three awards, best

British group and best single. They will also be performing. Also on

stage, Emeli Sande, Katy Perry and the 1975. They are also up for two

awards, including best group and best album. There is a lot of

excitement for a man who doesn't have any nominations because his

latest music has been so recent. That is Ed Sheeran. He'll be

performing a new song live on stage during the Brit awards. Remember

where you heard it first. In 12 months, he is likely to have a huge

number of nominations. You might have noticed

the weather has been a bit That's because a big storm

is on its way to the UK, so we spoke to Newsround's favourite

weather presenter, Storm Doris threatened us

a few weeks back but, for Thursday, it really

is going to move its way in. On this pressure chart,

look at the white lines. They are really quite

close together. That means we're going to see some

very strong winds and, on top of that, snow and lots of it

across central and southern You'll be making snowmen

of and take care of on Thursday. The sport of rugby league is fast

and furious with big, strong players going

head-to-head during a match. But now one team is looking

to the dance world to give their future rugby stars

an edge over their competition. Rugby league club Wigan Warriors

have made dance classes a regular feature of training for their young

16 to 19-year-old stars. When it first came about,

I think the lads thought it was a bit of fun but as we looked

more into it, the American football teams have done it

and we are looking at it We get ankle injuries

in rugby league and this Have the players enjoyed

swapping their rugby At first I was a bit shocked

and surprised that we were doing it, but we got told it was not a joke

and we were going to be doing this It gives us a break from the rugby

and it's good for your mindset and it's good for your knees,

despite what you might I've never had sore legs like I've

had sore legs after doing this. I always talk to my sister

and she does it as well, And their ballet teacher hopes

more professional teams in the UK will eventually see

the benefits as well. I have worked hard to try and look

at where they are getting injured, what movements we can do to help

strengthen, and they have worked so hard and the improvement

in such a short time... They are sportspeople
