Hi, I'm Ricky with your evening Newsround update.

First to Ukraine in Eastern Europe, where the former president is on the

run from police who want to arrest him. President Yanukovych was thrown

out over the weekend following months of protests against his ties

with Russia. Things are now much calmer in the capital, Kiev, where

people are mourning those who died in the violent demonstrations. Head

to the website for lots more on this story, including Nel's report on the

events of the past week and a picture gallery telling you how the

protests came about. Next, Team GB's athletes have just

arrived home from Sochi after equalling Britain's best medal haul

at any Winter Games. They have been promised extra funding for the next

few years because they did so well. All day on the website, you've been

Gadget makers are showing off their latest designs at the Mobile World

Congress in Spain. There's plenty of wearable tech like smartwatches on

show, with the likes of Samsung launching new designs. And this

year, there is a big focus on affordable smartphones for the

developing world, like this Firefox phone which will cost around ?15.

Radio 1 gadget guru Jonathan Blake sent us this message - from his

smartphone, of course. This is the place to come to see the

latest technology before it hits the shops. There's smartphones on

display here which are the most powerful, fastest and biggest we've

seen yet, but also many cheaper phones, because companies are trying

to appeal to the developing world, places where many people can't

afford an expensive smartphone. That's one of the big themes this

year. Also, wearable technology. We've heard about smartwatches

before, but companies have struggled to get people to buy them in big

numbers, so they're pushing those, too.

Last up, what do you do when some drongo nicks your mango? That's what

a town in Australia is wondering after theives pinched a

ten-metre-high model of the fruit! The Big Mango tourist attraction was

stolen overnight using cranes in Bowen, a town famous for its

mangoes. It's one of over 150 super-size sculptures across the

country. Officials are confident that the mango will be found,

because it's going to be pretty difficult to hide it for long. Let's

hope their mango search isn't "fruitless"! As you can see, the Big

Mango has gone missing. It was definitely here yesterday, and when

I came to work this morning, they've informed me that the Big Mango has

gone missing. So I've come out and, true enough, it's no longer there.
