It's Tuesday morning, you're live with Newsround. I'm Leah with | :00:08. | :00:11.
today's top stories, including: We find out what it takes to become a | :00:12. | :00:15.
British bobsleigh driver. And: I'm Laura Trott. And I'm Jason Kenny, | :00:16. | :00:18.
and we're here to answer your questions. | :00:19. | :00:20.
But first, it's deadline day for Ukraine's new leaders. Former | :00:21. | :00:24.
President, Viktor Yanukovych, was removed from power just days ago | :00:25. | :00:27.
after huge anti-government protests and violence. Now the new leaders | :00:28. | :00:34.
have until the end of the day to form a new, united government. | :00:35. | :00:37.
Meanwhile British investigators are in the country helping to find out | :00:38. | :00:40.
who told police to shoot at protestors last week. Dozens of | :00:41. | :00:50.
people were killed in the clashes. Head to the website for more info on | :00:51. | :00:54.
the story, including the report on the week's events, and a picture | :00:55. | :00:59.
gallery telling you how the protests came about. Team GB's athletes have | :01:00. | :01:04.
arrived home, bringing with them the four medals that will bring them | :01:05. | :01:08.
more funding for winter sports. The men's curlers were first to appear | :01:09. | :01:11.
with their silver medals. Lizzie Yarnold showed off her gold too | :01:12. | :01:14.
fresh from carrying the union flag at the Games' closing ceremony. This | :01:15. | :01:18.
morning, Britain's bobsleigh stars have been out and about talking to | :01:19. | :01:21.
reporters, and it turns out if you're a good sprinter, you could be | :01:22. | :01:26.
good at bobsleigh too. It's not too different. We came to add some extra | :01:27. | :01:33.
speed to give it a magic touch, and I think we've done it. If you are a | :01:34. | :01:38.
kid watching the Winter Olympics, how do you get involved? Go on the | :01:39. | :01:43.
British bobsleigh website, and we have a futures programme where | :01:44. | :01:46.
youngsters can try the sport out. There's a variety of ways to get | :01:47. | :01:50.
involved, and hopefully the younger generation have been inspired by our | :01:51. | :01:54.
performance. From one set of Olympic heroes to another. The World Track | :01:55. | :01:56.
Championships begin tomorrow with Laura Trott and Jason Kenny aiming | :01:57. | :02:00.
to defend the titles they won last year. They're two of Britain's | :02:01. | :02:03.
biggest and best cycling stars, but before they headed off to Colombia | :02:04. | :02:07.
to take part, they found the time to answer some of your questions. Great | :02:08. | :02:10.
start by Laura Trott. Straight out of the gate. | :02:11. | :02:14.
There he is, the Olympic sprint champion, he wins the gold medal, | :02:15. | :02:19.
and he's won it in style with fantastic confidence. | :02:20. | :02:27.
I chose to be a cyclist because I was good at it, to be honest. I like | :02:28. | :02:34.
competing in anything and I love winning. I just like the winning | :02:35. | :02:37.
feeling. Once you win one race, you want to win them all. | :02:38. | :02:48.
There were four people fighting for three spots in the team pursuit, so | :02:49. | :02:53.
we were competing against each other, so it was difficult. You have | :02:54. | :02:57.
to train hard to get to the Olympics. We train super-hard. | :02:58. | :03:00.
When I first started cycling I was eight years old and I did my first | :03:01. | :03:06.
competition when I was ten, I think, a National Championships in | :03:07. | :03:09.
Manchester. I had an older brother and I wanted to ride bikes, and I | :03:10. | :03:13.
started riding on the track when I was 12. My first race was when I was | :03:14. | :03:20.
12 as well. My main goal this year is to go to the world Championships | :03:21. | :03:24.
and hopefully come away with a couple of medals, and then in the | :03:25. | :03:27.
summer we have the Commonwealth Games. The Commonwealth Games in | :03:28. | :03:30.
Glasgow should be good fun, so I'm looking forward to that. | :03:31. | :03:33.
My favourite moment in my career was winning two gold medals at the | :03:34. | :03:39.
London Olympic Games. My favourite moment in my career is winning two | :03:40. | :03:43.
gold medals at the London Olympic Games as well. | :03:44. | :03:47.
There he is, he wins the gold medal, and he won it in style. | :03:48. | :03:53.
Footy now and the FA says it will investigate claims that supporters | :03:54. | :03:58.
threw coins at Wayne Rooney during United's 2-0 win at Crystal Palace | :03:59. | :04:01.
at the weekend. United are in Greece tonight, where they face Olympiakos | :04:02. | :04:05.
in the Champions League. Rooney, who won Europe's top prize with United | :04:06. | :04:09.
back in 2008, wants them to go all the way again. | :04:10. | :04:15.
We want to win, so the feeling you get when you actually win the trophy | :04:16. | :04:23.
is incredible. There is no way would want to stop one. The to win every | :04:24. | :04:28.
year, and that might be impossible, but if we can go to the final it | :04:29. | :04:33.
would be great for us and it's an opportunity to win the trophy, so, | :04:34. | :04:36.
hopefully we can do that. Last up, to the story of this incredibly cute | :04:37. | :04:40.
panther cub's brave recovery. This tiny cat was finding his first weeks | :04:41. | :04:43.
of life quite tough while living at a wildlife refuge in Florida and he | :04:44. | :04:47.
nearly died. But luckily the cub was sent off to hospital and received | :04:48. | :04:51.
special treatment to build him back up. He's now happy, healthy and | :04:52. | :04:54.
enjoying his bottle of milk! That's all from me, Newsround's back this | :04:55. | :05:00.
afternoon. Have a great day, whatever you're doing. | :05:01. | :05:01. |
