So, what's the haps with this Spring thing?

After the dark, cold Winter comes the Spring.

A time when the Earth warms up, all the baby animals are born,

the sun begins to shine, rain falls and plants spring up from the soil.

OK, I get it, if Spring is called Spring because plants spring

up from the soil and whatnot, why is Summer not called Sunner?

Or, how come Autumn isn't called "Aw, Come On Christmas"?

Did you know, Zig, that when it's Spring up here,

-it's Autumn down there?

-That's cool.

-Learning about the seasons is cool.

Nah, that blue ball is cool, but can we get one without the mud on it?

Another thing about Spring is that on the last Sunday of March

every year, all the clocks move forward...

-Where... Where are you going?

-To sticky tape my clock down.

If it moves forward, it's going to fall off my bedside table.

No, Zig, it's just the hands of the clock that the humans move forwards

an hour so that they get an extra hour of daylight in the evening.

Just by moving the hands of a clock?! Ooh, is it magic?

Nah, it's just a clever-cloggington Earth way to make it brighter

when you come home from school and work and whatnot.

Hmm, so what you're saying is, one o'clock becomes two o'clock,

then two o'clock is three o'clock, three o'clock becomes four o'clock,

in which case, five o'clock becomes six o'clock?

Yes, but don't worry, Zig.

In Autumn, everyone turns the clocks back an hour.

-So, that means that five o'clock is four o'clock again...

-Oh...

Four o'clock is three o'clock, three o'clock,

you shall become two o'clock once more.

Of course, one of the biggest Spring-time events is

a time called Easter.

It's an Earth holiday when bunny rabbits lay lots of chocolate eggs!

Are you sure they're chocolate?

I mean, I'm only visiting Earth but don't birds lay eggs, not rabbits?

What rabbits lay kind of looks a little like chocolate eggs

but certainly isn't chocolate.

It's just an Earth tradition which means you don't ask

-too many questions!

-Or pick up chocolate eggs that aren't wrapped!
