-..are Chloe Roberts from Llanrug who

-..Gwenno Dafydd from Llanuwchllyn

-is studying Law...

-..whilst Cai Llywelyn Gruffydd

-is studying Sound Technology.

-All three love the city.

-We know about the Liverpool Welsh

-but what about the Welsh Society?

-The Welsh Society

-was established in September...

-..and we're officially part

-of the John Moores Societies.

-There's 200 members and

-we organize a lot of various trips.

-The society

-and Welsh life is thriving.

-Yes, and it's just like

-being at home!

-A lot of the street names are Welsh

-which is great and I love it.

-Why did you decide to come

-to Liverpool 18 months ago, Gwenno?

-I had a lot of fun in Sixth Form

-at Ysgol y Berwyn in Bala...

-..and didn't think I would get

-anything better.

-A lot of the Sixth Form

-went to Bangor or Aberystwyth.

-It would have been great to join

-them and wouldn't need new friends.

-and go somewhere else.

-I wanted to prove that I could get

-the same grades as English students.

-I hope that I'll succeed here!

-I'm a little too young to remember

-The Beatles in Liverpool.

-What's the music scene

-like in Liverpool these days?

-It's evolved a lot since the days

-of The Beatles.

-There's some great music venues

-such as Frederiks jazz bar.

-In 24 Kitchen Street,

-you get house music and a lot more.

-There's also concerts

-for those who enjoy chart music.

-What's it like

-for a Welshman studying music?

-We haven't had any Welsh gigs yet...

-..but we hope the society organizes

-a few in the coming year.

-We might even host an Eisteddfod

-with choirs singing Welsh songs.

-Fun and full of life!

-Five ladies went to Christchurch

-with a team of three and two.

-We were there for a fortnight

-and the team of three won silver.

-The other two women won the gold

-so we finished second in the world.

-It isn't the first time you've

-represented Wales internationally.

-No, I've been to

-four Commonwealth Games...

-..and won bronze in Manchester

-and Delhi.

-I've also won medals each in the

-last four World Bowls Championships.

-You work full-time

-so where do you find time to train?

-Yes, I'm a full-time nurse...

-..but you'll find the time if

-My family understand

-because they bowl too.

-Yes, and three generations of your

-family are playing for Wales now.

-Mam plays for Wales and is a coach.

-Alice, my daughter plays

-for the under 25s and senior team.

-Harry also plays

-for the under 18s team.

-Can you give me a few pointers?

-I've played for Wales

-and they play for Wales too.

-Anwen is doing well and the other
