Episode 7 Results Let It Shine

Hello and welcome back to Let It Shine and the live

Semi Final Results show! We had a nice sit down

in between shows. Martin, what did you lot get up

to? I've been doing a bit of everything,

giving Gary a mass arch. I'm jealous! -- massage.

Do you know, in 50 minutes You could soft boil 16

eggs to perfection? Just watch one entire

episode of Casualty. Earlier on these four bands

performed but now they can do nothing but wait,

because the vote is already closed. So please do not try and vote as it

won't count and you may be charged. In a moment we'll reveal which two

bands are safe and through to next week's live Final and which two

bands must sing again to impress the judges.

Tonight's head to head features The Beatles songs

and of course after it, five boys will be

leaving the competition. But before that, here's

in no particular order, which two bands are through to next

week's live Final and one step closer to the prize,

performing as a band in that touring musical.

Drive? Or Nightfall?

It's Five To Five, you've done it, guys. So, congratulations to

Nightfall. Well done. Congratulations Five To Five, off

you go, guys. If you want to go, there you go. Well done, guys. OK.

Good luck. Good luck. OK, OK, OK. Congratulations to Five To Five and

Nightfall but that means Iron Sun and Drive have to sing again. The

bands will have to sing songs made famous by The Beatles in the

head-to-head. OK? Before tonight the boys did a draw

for the songs and the lines in each song. OK, from the ten guys left on

the stage now the judges can only save five, but as we found out last

week those five don't all have to be from the same band. Let's hear what

the judges have to say about it. Last week's head-to-head was so

emotional. I've never known pressure like it, you could see the boys were

thinking, it could be their last performance together. It's

incredibly difficult but these boys have got to make sure this situation

doesn't get the better of them. It's so important for them to use all the

emotions they are feeling to their advantage. Here we go again.

Remember, only five of the ten boys will be saved. They can all come

from one band or a mixture of the two with any combination possible.

Making that decision is possible but we have to find the right five guys.

It's hard but at this stage they need to remember it's a competition.

It's every man for himself. It is so tense. And so it's time for Iron Sun

and Drive to sing again. They are performing in their bands but now

they need to shine like individuals. Judges, you have already seen the

boys sing and dance tonight and you may already have an idea of who we

would like to save. This is their last chance to convince you that

they should make up a band in the final. So, first up singing, the

Long and Winding Road, let's hear it for Matt Knight, Jordan, Clinton,

last performance as a band. OK, if the others would like to get into

your last performance together as a band. The judges are going to head

off now to decide which five boys will stay in the competition. The

judges' decision is based on the songs are bands have just sung and

their performances from earlier tonight. Which five will become a

band in the final and which five will go home?

Welcome to the most nerve wracking nerve centre. It's our deliberation

room, here come the judges, there is Ashley, in you go, my loves, Gary,

Tammy, Martin, time to start deliberating. Just going to make

very intense already. While they deliberate, time for some music

while the judges are making their decision. All aboard the Soul train

straight from the West End to the hallowed boards of the Let It Shine

Philadelphia, PA Time to let the judges out. Who let

the judges out, me, me, me. Out you come, good luck, back to the

judges desks. The So the judges have locked

in their decision and in a moment we'll reveal which five boys

will compete together But before we do let's hear

from all ten of them. if this group was split and some

went through and some went home, that would be really difficult. It's

difficult for me, because this field natural, the band, the unit we have.

With Clinton, we have lucky hats. He needs to learn to not wear a hat

every single day of his life. I would not miss Matt's cooking. I

hope that he does leave because then we can beat somebody on Fifa! This

is the best thing that I have done in my life and I wanted to keep

going, all the way to the end. No one wants to say goodbye to anyone,

I really want to go the whole world with these guys, that would mean so

much to me. That would mean so much. -- really want to go the whole way

with these guys. Five Musketeers. No, I don't really mean that. We

have experienced what it's like to be sat on the turnstiles and

regardless of whether we get split up, we will have each other's backs.

We seem to get on. We laughed a lot, we joke a lot. We all know that we

want it as much as each other, do you want it, yes, do I want it, yes,

let's work. I have the belief and competence in myself to go, you know

what, you can do this. At this stage you say, why not win. The truth of

the matter is, it's possible. The boys are back and so are the

judges. This is the worst, we are at the point of the competition where

the final is only one week away, to go home now will be devastating,

it's been really tough. OK, thank you, Gary. Earlier tonight, you

performed as Iron Sun and Drive but now you are ten individuals, in no

particular order we will find out which five of you will continue in

the competition and perform in next weeks live final.

remain but there is only one place left, who is it going to be? Alexis?

Clinton...? Harry... ? Jordan... Matt Knight or Jazzie? Who will make

it? Let's find out, the fifth and final member.

superb. They thought you were brilliant... CHEERING

Listen, you are, keep doing what you're doing. Have you got anything

to say to these lovely guys? It is so hard, my heart is beating out of

my chest, none of us know what it feels like for you guys to send out

there now but what we do know is how incredibly hard you have worked and

how you have taken everybody from your first audition... Now,

everybody at home no sure names. And nobody can ever take that hard work

away from you. Please, take it and go on and make all of these people

proud. Jordan... We're going to miss you, we're going to miss all of you.

Anything to say? This has been the most fantastic experience of my

life, do you know what, and I genuinely mean that, and to share it

with these four lads, as a group, I see myself as a person and a talent,

thank you so much. If it doesn't work out in the singing, politics,

such a good speaker! They have all been brilliant, please give them

your love, everybody. As we bid farewell, we say a huge

congratulations to Drive. The whole band made it through. We're going to

see you in the final next week. I guess I go to Martin. What was the

decision between not doing mix and match? So difficult, I can't tell

you, but going through it really quickly, Matt, we need you for your

leadership qualities. Conor, beautiful tone to your voice.

Jonnie, you save yourself in the sing off. Remember that. Matt,

beautiful vocals. -- Mark, beautiful vocals. And Jazzie, everything you

bring to the band, wonderful. Must have been lonely, standing on the

star, did you think that you were being dumped? I did, I actually...

He fell over. They pushed me over! One week to go, what should these

guys be doing to make sure they do well in the final? Felt fair to keep

their bands together, because with Five to Five and Nightfall they are

superb, and I wanted these guys to have a good shot. Arrive next week

and fight, for one hell of a night. So that's it, we've got our three

finalists. Drive, Five to Five and Nightfall will be performing at the

earlier time of 6:55pm. One of these bands will win that

life changing prize and it's all in your hands because you alone,

decide the winning five. A big thanks to our judges
