parliamentary committee early next week. It follows claims that MI5 had

tried to recruit Michael Adebolajo, one of the men suspected of

murdering Drummer Lee Rigby. Our home affairs correspondent June

Kelly reports. In Woolwich, some began their weekend by coming to the

spot where a young soldier's life was taken. There's still an air of

disbelief about what happened on the suburban street. At the nearby

barracks, where Drummer Lee Rigby was based, a group of bikers, some

ex-military, came to show their respect. It's just our way of saying

thanks for a job well done, and we feel for the boys, we feel for the

families, his loved ones, and it's a sad day. Flowers at the barracks,

too. Wider family grieve, Drummer Lee Rigby is in the thoughts of

those who knew him and many who did not. Today it emerged that the

security service MI5 will deliver an initial report to a Parliamentary

committee next week about what they knew about the suspects. BBC's

Newsnight programme last night broadcast an interview with a man

who said his long-time friend of one of the suspect in this case. He

claimed that six months ago, the security service MI5, tried to

recruit. He mentioned that initially they want to ask him if he knew

certain individuals, basically. That was an initial issue but after that,

he said he did not know the interview that individuals, and I

then asked him whether he would be interested in working for them. He

refused to work for them. In a dramatic development, shortly after

the interview Abu Nusaybah was arrested on BBC premises by officers

from Scotland Yard. He is now being held on suspicion of terror offences

not related to the soldier 's death. His claim about MI5 is

uncorroborated, as is another of his open today, but the Cats closure was

empty. For ten years, the Sumatran tigers have been one of the main

attractions, but yesterday, the male tiger turned on his keeper, killing

24-year-old Sarah McClay. She had worked with them for over a year and

was said to be passionate about her job. She was feeding the Jaguars

before the attack, but staff don't know why she was in the enclosure

alone with the Tigers. Without notifying anybody, and without any

warning, she has undone three blocks. Visitors to the park saw

what happened, and staff warned the Tigers with warning shots, but she

later died in hospital. The Tigers are now in a darkened room, away

from the public. We understand that they're in closure is made up of

three pens. Each pen has three locks, some electronic, some manual.

It is designed to keep the keepers away from the animals. We are

looking at human factors, whether it be deliberate, reckless or

accidental, or indeed a technical failure. All those issues need to be

looked at. It is early days in the investigation. Sarah McClay's family

are said to be distraught. As police investigate how an experienced

member of staff lost their life. Tens of thousands of Germans have

descended on London for this evening's Champions League final

between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

This, of course, is the home of English football. Tonight, it is all

about Germany. The first ever all German Champions League final.

Around 150,000 fans have made the journey, most without tickets. They

have been basking in the sunshine in central London today. Raith sets of

fans are in confident mood. Yellow and black, it is great. Great

atmosphere. Really friendly. They will have a party before, we are.
