The body of a missing two year old boy has been found

The discovery this lunchtime followed a major air and ground

Emergency services were alerted to the fact that a two-year-old boy had

gone missing from Milton of Drimmie just up the valley from here at

Bridge of Cally. A full-scale search of the area was quickly launched

involving the Police Scotland helicopter and Scottish Fire and

rescue service crews. At 12:35pm, an hour and 25 minutes after the alarm

was raised, the boy was found in the River Ericht. He was rescued from

the water and treated at the scene by paramedics who had arrived in the

ambulance. At Police Scotland say, tragically, he did not survive. The

Detectives investigating a murder in Glasgow have named a 46

north-west by the afternoon, with colder air coming through.
