Good evening. A 19 year-old man originally from London has been

charged with raping a 15 year-old girl inside the grounds of Foyle

College in Londonderry last Friday night. Adam Titheridge, with an

address at Glenside Gardens in Derry, moved to the city six weeks

ago. The family of a Londonderry man who was viciously beaten by a

loyalist gang five years ago are renewing an appeal for information

about the attack. Paul McCauley suffered serious head injuries in

the unprovoked attack in the Waterside area of the city. He'll

need constant care for the rest of his life. His father, Jim, hopes

new information will be given to police. Paul McCauley was left in a

vegetative state after he was attacked by a loyalist gang in a

sectarian assault five years ago. He was attending a barbecue in a

house garden in the Waterside. The loyalist gang attacked a number of

people at the barbecue. Paul McCauley suffered serious head

injuries. Only one man has been convicted of the attack. Dorrell

proctor. He was 18 at the time and is currently serving a 12-year

sentence for his part in the assault. Paul McCauley's father

hopes the appeal will generate new information. Anybody left in that

situation, you would not let a murder gang walk free. He was left

for dead. He was resuscitated three times. I feel the police and

politicians must work more. police have renewed their appeal

for the public's cooperation. New information has surfaced. They will

be following that up in the coming days. Two former Chinese Olympic

gold medallists have been in Lisburn to view the facilities at a

gym which is hoping to host the Chinese gymnastics team in the run-

up to next year's Olympics. Nicola Weir reports. Not many budding

gymnast and said they have been given a masterclass by not one but

two Olympic gold medallists. The children who trained at the

National gymnastics Centre in Lisburn were in the expert hands of

an elite coaches of the Chinese gymnastics court. It is hoped the

visit will convince China that Northern Ireland is the best place

to train for their bid next year. They were impressed by what this

off. -- they sell. Very good. It is a full set of equipment,

professionally set for 2012. Yes. The impression he got his very good.

The Sports Minister presented the coaches with gifts and another

former Olympic gold medallist called in to back the ambitious aim

of the club. If we can get the Chinese delegation here next summer,

what it will do for the economy and tourism would be fantastic.
