The 31- year -old victim is in a critical condition in hospital.

He was wounded in the head when shots were fired into his home

at Carrigart Crescent in the early hours of this morning.

The police later found a burnt out car which they believe was used

The silence of the early hours was shattered when gunfire rang out here

early last night. At least 20 bullets were fired from an automatic

weapon, one struck a man inside in the head. He was alone in the house,

but neighbours say his girlfriend of a child are usually there. In their

absence this home became a crime scene. The attack took place just

before quarter to two this morning. Seconds afterwards, neighbours went

to see they could help the victim. I've spoken to a neighbour who

didn't want to appear on camera, but he told me he was watching

television when he heard gunfire and a car speeding away.

He ran to the house, where he found a man lying on the floor calling for

help. The man who was understood to have lived here for around two years

was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. Police say, as

yet, there was no known motive. We are genuinely unclear on the motive.

That is one of the things I am appealing for today. Somebody must

know why this person was targeted, it was orchestrated and carefully

planned attack. Is there anything happening in that area, you know

anything about the individual that was targeted. We need your help in

solving this, today. Police believe the shots were fired from this car,

then out a little over a mile away from the scene. It was stolen in

Dublin in September at Folsom the plates. Police want anyone with

Mike Nesbitt has been feeling the heat today

after declaring his intention to vote for the SDLP ahead

of pro-union candidates The move prompted some

how a file and that whistle-blower came to be created once an employee

of the child protection agency copied and pasted a file against

somebody else, a claim of child sexual abuse against somebody else

into his file. Sergeant McCabe and his family this evening had issued a

statement saying they are opposed to any further enquiry held in private.

Sinn Fein are to table a motion of no confidence in the government.

So, how will all this play-out politically

The man of the government, including independent in Cabinet and is

authority to govern. There is no doubt that they have to go and that

is why we have tabled this motion. Are astonished to see the position

and antics, it seems they are prepared to play games with this

most series of issues. As things stand it seems been a ball will

abstain in the road and the government will survive. This all

shows how fragile this minority government is and it may well hasten

the end. Given that he said he would lead the party into the next general

in a County Down primary school to see what's involved.

more and boldness, form of meditation involving breathing

Northern Ireland to reduce stress, to cope with things in life and we

do all know that younger and younger children these days of stress,

anxiety and depression. There is an effect beyond the classroom, as

well. If I am angry at brothers I do in my room and then... When you are

pushing your hair, take your time and don't go so fast. Schools

already teach the three Rs and now there is a fourth, relaxation.
