Here on BBC One, it's time for the news where you are.

:00:00.:00:00.

The names of many of the companies which are getting RHI subsidies have

:00:07.:00:13.

been published by the Department for the Economy.

:00:14.:00:15.

It shows some firms claiming hundreds of thousands of pounds

:00:16.:00:18.

Here's our Agriculture and Environment Correspondent

:00:19.:00:21.

The names of some of the companies getting RHI subsidies

:00:22.:00:29.

are published on the Department for the Economy website.

:00:30.:00:32.

Partial postcodes, number of boilers, pay-outs,

:00:33.:00:36.

The companies with most boilers include a poultry firm based

:00:37.:00:41.

While many are on farms, other businesses have them, too.

:00:42.:00:47.

There's a biomass and warehousing business near Banbridge with 12.

:00:48.:00:50.

The list shows a wide geographical spread.

:00:51.:00:52.

In Ballyclare, a truck and bus business has 11.

:00:53.:00:59.

Whilst many of the boilers are in rural postcodes,

:01:00.:01:01.

a car dealership company based in Belfast has ten.

:01:02.:01:03.

The payments range from tens of thousands of pounds to several

:01:04.:01:07.

The department has been at pains to point out that being on the list

:01:08.:01:14.

doe not indicate any wrongdoing on the part of the companies.

:01:15.:01:17.

The next important step in this saga will be

:01:18.:01:19.

Not only will they ensure that the boilers are

:01:20.:01:23.

compliant with the scheme, but that the businesses

:01:24.:01:25.

There are a wide range of businesses in the list.

:01:26.:01:33.

A lot are farms, mostly paltry and mushroom,

:01:34.:01:35.

but there are also manufacturing, haulage and energy firms

:01:36.:01:38.

as well as a couple of church groups and sports clubs.

:01:39.:01:41.

We contacted a number of those named in the list.

:01:42.:01:43.

Several said they had business need for the heat

:01:44.:01:46.

Another said there had been a huge amount of bad publicity

:01:47.:01:54.

and if there had been less fuss if they had been selling drugs.

:01:55.:01:59.

That's around half of those eligible for the pay-outs.

:02:00.:02:03.

The rest are people who applied as individuals, not as companies.

:02:04.:02:06.

Their details will be published later after data protection checks.

:02:07.:02:11.

The Department for the Economy said this was being done

:02:12.:02:14.

Some boiler owners had resisted in court, claiming it would lead

:02:15.:02:20.

The organisation which represents them said it hoped the publication

:02:21.:02:25.

of the list would not lead the public or the media

:02:26.:02:27.

to an assumption that the businesses had acted improperly in any way.

:02:28.:02:32.

It said they had entered the scheme legitimately which had been designed

:02:33.:02:35.

Cost controls may curtail the huge projected overspend,

:02:36.:02:43.

but the saga has contributed to the collapse of the

:02:44.:02:45.

It will be up to the public inquiry to shed light rather than heat

:02:46.:02:50.

The Donegal woman whose body was found in the Indian state of Goa

:02:51.:02:57.

Danielle McLaughlin from Buncrana was discovered in a field

:02:58.:03:03.

close to tourist resorts in Canacona on Tuesday.

:03:04.:03:05.

Yogita Limaye has sent this report from Goa.

:03:06.:03:09.

Tributes being paid to Danielle McLaughlin.

:03:10.:03:13.

She was found dead here on Tuesday morning.

:03:14.:03:16.

Police said she had injuries on the face and head.

:03:17.:03:23.

The 28-year-old Irish woman had travelled to India

:03:24.:03:25.

Police believe the man with her in this CCTV footage

:03:26.:03:34.

They have arrested him and say they have compelling evidence.

:03:35.:03:43.

TRANSLATION: When we questioned him, the accused confessed to the crime.

:03:44.:03:53.

After that, we also found an item with what stains on it.

:03:54.:03:56.

We have collected a lot of forensics evidence.

:03:57.:03:58.

This is a state that is known all over the world

:03:59.:04:00.

Foreign and Indian tourists come here in throngs,

:04:01.:04:11.

sometimes for weeks or months year after year to enjoy the sun.

:04:12.:04:14.

This time, for many, the peace has been broken.

:04:15.:04:16.

Women's safety in Goa is once again in the spotlight.

:04:17.:04:19.

Some are still trying to come to terms with what has happened.

:04:20.:04:24.

Absolute horror. Shocked.

:04:25.:04:28.

The whole community is just in disbelief.

:04:29.:04:31.

For this state, though, it will be important to show that

:04:32.:04:34.

That those who killed Danielle will not walk away free.

:04:35.:04:45.

The US President Donald Trump says he intends to visit

:04:46.:04:47.

He was speaking as he met the Taoiseach at the White House

:04:48.:04:53.

as part of the St Patrick's Day celebrations in Washington.

:04:54.:04:55.

Our correspondent, Shane Harrison is there.

:04:56.:05:01.

Well, Tara, as you join me, I can tell you that in the White House

:05:02.:05:07.

there is a reception going on at the moment where the Teak Enda Kenny is

:05:08.:05:12.

presenting the president with the traditional bowl of shamrock. The

:05:13.:05:16.

two men met earlier today in the Oval Office where they had 35

:05:17.:05:22.

minutes of talks and discussed the plight of illegal or undocumented

:05:23.:05:25.

Irish immigrants and of course, Northern Ireland.

:05:26.:05:29.

I gave the president a detailed account of the outcome of the

:05:30.:05:33.

election in Northern Ireland. The fact that it is a priority to put

:05:34.:05:36.

together an executive that will provide a voice for Northern Ireland

:05:37.:05:41.

and the fact that we have a clear agreement with the British

:05:42.:05:47.

Government that there will be no return to a hard border and no

:05:48.:05:52.

direct rule from London. The president spoke at the Speaker's

:05:53.:05:55.

lunch where he talked about the close relationships between the two

:05:56.:05:58.

countries. APPLAUSE

:05:59.:06:03.

And all of our friends welcoming Taoiseach, as my new friend. That's

:06:04.:06:08.

my new friend, that's my new friend. He is a great guy. The people of

:06:09.:06:13.

Ireland and the people of the United States have stuck together through

:06:14.:06:16.

good times and through bad times. Over many centuries we have built a

:06:17.:06:23.

bond that thrives and inspires and endures and with us it's going to be

:06:24.:06:26.

closer than ever before I can tell you that.

:06:27.:06:28.

APPLAUSE Tomorrow the Taoiseach will go to

:06:29.:06:33.

New York and take part in the St Patrick's Day parade all of course

:06:34.:06:37.

as part of his long goodbye. Back to you. Shane, thank you.

:06:38.:06:43.

There'll be more on today's events in Washington in The View after this

:06:44.:06:46.

bulletin and with news of what's in the rest of the programme,

:06:47.:06:49.

Yes, Tara the Ulster Unionist leader, Mike Nesbitt,

:06:50.:06:52.

gives us his first broadcast interview since his dramatic

:06:53.:06:54.

resignation announcement almost two weeks ago

:06:55.:06:55.

and it's clear that he holds Arlene Foster responsible

:06:56.:06:58.

That crocodile comment really did serve as a lightening rod that

:06:59.:07:12.

incredibly energised nationalist and Republicans and that was the real

:07:13.:07:15.

quote of the election and the real consequence was the result that put

:07:16.:07:18.

Sinn Fein just a seat behind the DUP.

:07:19.:07:20.

We'll also hear from Gerry Adams in Washington and we hear

:07:21.:07:23.

what unionist living on the border think about a united Ireland.

:07:24.:07:25.

That's straight after this bulletin here on BBC One.

:07:26.:07:29.

Belfast boxer Michael Conlon is gearing up for his first fight

:07:30.:07:32.

He's topping the bill in one of the sports most famous arenas,

:07:33.:07:38.

Madison Square Garden, New York.

:07:39.:07:40.

Conlon will tomorrow, St Patrick's Day, take

:07:41.:07:43.

A big crowd of Irish-Americans are expected to watch

:07:44.:07:46.

the 25-year-old Olympic bronze medallist in action.

:07:47.:07:55.

Feeling great. I'm really excited. I've got a big event. What an arena

:07:56.:08:03.

and what a place to make my professional debut. Tomorrow I will

:08:04.:08:09.

be nervous, but I'm feeling excited. Good luck to him.

:08:10.:08:10.

The showers becoming more persistent. The temperatures really

:08:11.:08:23.

dropping one or two Celsius. There is the chance of a little bit of

:08:24.:08:26.

sleet over the highest ground and maybe a few icy patches on untreated

:08:27.:08:31.

roads for a time. It sets us up for what is a rather unpleasant day

:08:32.:08:36.

tomorrow. St Patrick's Day is going to be wet and windy. The best chance

:08:37.:08:41.

of any breaks in the rain come across the eastern half of Northern

:08:42.:08:44.

Ireland, the further west you go, the more persistent that rain is

:08:45.:08:48.

likely to be and quite a keen westerly breeze too. You can see

:08:49.:08:51.

this weather front sitting here right across Northern Ireland,

:08:52.:08:55.

across the central belt of Scotland and stretching down into the

:08:56.:08:58.

north-west of England and North Wales too. In front of it some

:08:59.:09:02.

warmer conditions. Behind it something cooler. Overnight the rain

:09:03.:09:06.

is going to continue. Finally introducing more mild air, but the

:09:07.:09:10.

outlook for the weekend is not much better. It is going to be unsettled.

:09:11.:09:15.

We're going to see rain coming through and at times over the next

:09:16.:09:19.

few days quite windy as well. So, the theme on Saturday is again of

:09:20.:09:24.

quite a wet picture. Come Sunday, we will start to see that rain peeling

:09:25.:09:27.

back and the day will dry up and improve just a little bit. But we

:09:28.:09:32.

are really looking out for this ridge of high pressure to build in

:09:33.:09:36.

at some point later on next week to settle down our weather. The next

:09:37.:09:38.

few days are going to be unpleasant. Our next BBC Newsline

:09:39.:09:41.

is at 6.25am in the morning You can also keep updated

:09:42.:09:45.

with News Online. It took us once to get through

:09:46.:09:48.

the novel Anna Karenina. It was used to help my friend

:09:49.:10:02.

with depression, and finishing as we went

:10:03.:10:07.

to sleep at night.

:10:08.:10:11.
