Good evening. The headlines tonight: Appealing for help for their | :00:14. | :00:27.
families back home ` The Filipino communities here, waiting for news. | :00:28. | :00:31.
The conman who sold fake bomb detectors fails in an appeal against | :00:32. | :00:34.
his sentence. How working with animals is helping | :00:35. | :00:43.
Children In Need. And Mary Berry is in bat to switch | :00:44. | :00:45.
on the Christmas lights. Is in Bath. Many Filipinos living across the | :00:46. | :00:54.
west are tonight still waiting to hear from their loved ones. With | :00:55. | :00:57.
electricity still down in many parts of the country, those living here | :00:58. | :01:01.
are anxiously trying to get through on the phone. The Filipino community | :01:02. | :01:05.
in Swindon is just one organisation now gathering supplies. Fiona Lamdin | :01:06. | :01:09.
has spent the day watching the aid being collected. | :01:10. | :01:17.
It is now four days since the typhoon struck and 7000 miles away | :01:18. | :01:21.
on the other side of the world, this community in Swindon is still | :01:22. | :01:27.
waiting for news. I haven't heard from my mum yet. The first thing you | :01:28. | :01:32.
do when you wake up, grabbed the phone and try and ring. You are | :01:33. | :01:40.
always hopeful that it will ring. You get an out of coverage area | :01:41. | :01:44.
message and it has been like that since Friday. For others, good news | :01:45. | :01:51.
is slowly trickling through. Right now, my sister has sent me a message | :01:52. | :01:58.
before you arrived that they are all OK. There is destruction on | :01:59. | :02:05.
properties that I am glad to hear that all my relatives are OK. Even | :02:06. | :02:12.
though his family survived, survival in a country where there is very | :02:13. | :02:16.
little is now proving very hard They are asking for food, clean | :02:17. | :02:21.
water, blankets and clothes, all things that this community has. They | :02:22. | :02:26.
are asking others in Swindon to do the same. This is one of the many | :02:27. | :02:31.
collection points that have sprung up across Swindon today. Anyone can | :02:32. | :02:36.
come and donate food, clothes and water. Over 100 staff that work here | :02:37. | :02:41.
at the hospital from the Philippines and so it is thought this box will | :02:42. | :02:47.
soon be very full. Over in Somerset, a team of seasoned | :02:48. | :02:54.
volunteers have spent the day backing 600 boxes of water survival | :02:55. | :03:02.
kits. These boxes will save lives. We will get them there as quickly as | :03:03. | :03:08.
possible. Our boxers will take over from the short term and will be | :03:09. | :03:12.
allocated on an individual family basis. At the Red Cross just as I | :03:13. | :03:16.
bristle is sending kits for the emergency teams on the ground. All | :03:17. | :03:21.
these supplies will be used in the rescue centres. Everything has been | :03:22. | :03:27.
fought off. Tents, food, electricity supplies, all bound for the next | :03:28. | :03:41.
flight. For Princess back in Sweden `` Swindon, the wait continues. | :03:42. | :03:44.
And if you want to make a donation to the Disasters Emergency Committee | :03:45. | :03:47.
appeal you can go to the website, call the phone number on`screen now, | :03:48. | :03:51.
or visit any High Street bank or Post Office. | :03:52. | :03:55.
A west country conman who made millions selling fake bomb detectors | :03:56. | :03:58.
to countries around the world, including Iraq, has failed in a bid | :03:59. | :04:02.
to appeal against his ten year jail sentence. | :04:03. | :04:04.
Jim McCormick was convicted in April. Today he went to the court of | :04:05. | :04:10.
appeal in London. His case became one of the first to be televised, | :04:11. | :04:13.
under new arrangements which have just come into force. | :04:14. | :04:16.
Our Somerset correspondent Clinton Rogers, who has covered this story | :04:17. | :04:19.
from the beginning, was in court today. | :04:20. | :04:23.
Three High court judges heard McCormick's team make their appeal | :04:24. | :04:28.
today. They argued that the original ten year jail sentence was excessive | :04:29. | :04:31.
because the trial judge placed too much weight on whether McCormick's | :04:32. | :04:34.
bogus detectors had actually been responsible for loss of life in | :04:35. | :04:46.
Iraq. The barrister said the issue of bomb deaths in Iraq had never | :04:47. | :04:50.
been put before the Old Bailey jury and hear today he went further, | :04:51. | :04:55.
suggesting that as a deterrent, perhaps the devices actually | :04:56. | :04:58.
prevented terrorists from planting bombs. But the appeal court judges | :04:59. | :05:01.
were quick to dismantle the arguments. For that argument, it | :05:02. | :05:11.
would have to be right. The position now, post conviction of him, that | :05:12. | :05:19.
fewer lives were being lost in Iraq. There are different circumstances | :05:20. | :05:23.
giving rise to loss of life. You are not comparing like to like. Don t | :05:24. | :05:28.
use the word logic when that is not coming into it. And after a hearing | :05:29. | :05:31.
which lasted about 40 minutes, the court refused the application to | :05:32. | :05:34.
appeal saying the original sentence, the maximum for fraud, was fair If | :05:35. | :05:40.
they centres did not merit the maximum, no sentence would. The | :05:41. | :05:47.
circumstances were quite appalling. The applicant knew precisely what he | :05:48. | :05:52.
was doing and stop he did it for enormous profit. The BBC has learned | :05:53. | :05:55.
that in a country regularly scarred by bomb explosions, the fake | :05:56. | :05:58.
detectors are still in use in spite of this court case and all the | :05:59. | :06:03.
publicity. These pictures were taken by a BBC journalist just the weeks | :06:04. | :06:06.
ago And the police team which prosecuted McCormick find that | :06:07. | :06:12.
unbelievable. When we asked other officers why they are using these, | :06:13. | :06:18.
they said, "we have to obey orders. " . These devices are being used and | :06:19. | :06:25.
we are disappointed. But this story doesn't end here. Having failed in | :06:26. | :06:28.
the appeal against his conviction, McCormick's lawyers say they now | :06:29. | :06:31.
plan to appeal against the conviction itself. | :06:32. | :06:37.
It's been revealed that a senior doctor had concerns about a | :06:38. | :06:42.
colleague who used a spy style watch to film himself abusing patients. Dr | :06:43. | :06:47.
Davinder Bains from Swindon wore a wristwatch with a tiny built in | :06:48. | :06:49.
camera and recorded himself assaulting dozens of patients. He | :06:50. | :06:58.
was jailed for 12 years this May. A report published today says that a | :06:59. | :07:02.
fellow GP at his surgery in Royal Wootton Bassett had raised concerns | :07:03. | :07:05.
about Bains' attitude to patients, but was unsure what to do about | :07:06. | :07:06.
them. Dr Bains is now appealing against | :07:07. | :07:15.
his prison sentence but his victims will be living with their traumatic | :07:16. | :07:19.
memories for the rest of their life. He filmed intimate examinations with | :07:20. | :07:27.
a camera concealed in a wrist watch. He was only found out when a woman | :07:28. | :07:31.
who lodged with him spotted a hidden camera in the bathroom and reported | :07:32. | :07:36.
it to police. They are all traumatised by what has happened. | :07:37. | :07:42.
They have lost faith in the NHS and male doctors. They don't feel they | :07:43. | :07:46.
got the support and counselling following this episode that they | :07:47. | :07:50.
should have got. The report says that some time before Bains was | :07:51. | :07:53.
arrested a senior partner at this surgery in Wootton Bassett had | :07:54. | :07:56.
raised concerns with the doctor about his examinations being more | :07:57. | :08:00.
intimate than were required. The GP felt he was given a plausible | :08:01. | :08:03.
explanation and that the system was unclear about where any concerns | :08:04. | :08:13.
should be raised externally. We have to remember he was a criminal who | :08:14. | :08:17.
seriously abused his position as a doctor and he was reportedly quite | :08:18. | :08:22.
charming and plausible. He deliberately lied about what he was | :08:23. | :08:27.
doing and what was going on and gave plausible responses. The report | :08:28. | :08:30.
found that within this all male GP practice there was no policy about | :08:31. | :08:33.
chaperoning patients and there were also problems around the way | :08:34. | :08:36.
complaints were being managed and safeguarding of children. Today no | :08:37. | :08:44.
one from the surgery was prepared to be interviewed but in the | :08:45. | :08:48.
statements, they point out that staff had been fully trained in | :08:49. | :08:51.
safeguarding and they want to reassure patients that it is | :08:52. | :08:56.
business as usual. And Matthew joins me in the studio | :08:57. | :08:59.
now. Matthew, this raises obvious questions on trust. What should | :09:00. | :09:02.
happen when a patient needs an examination at the GPs surgery? They | :09:03. | :09:11.
did a review of many surgeries in Wiltshire and found there are | :09:12. | :09:14.
variations between what different practices were doing. What they | :09:15. | :09:18.
should be doing according to the guidelines, is if you are having any | :09:19. | :09:23.
kind of intimate examination, the removal of clothing, irrespective of | :09:24. | :09:27.
the sex of the dogs or patient, a chaperone should be automatically | :09:28. | :09:37.
offered. It should be documented. `` irrespective of the sex of the | :09:38. | :09:43.
doctor or patient. There are some situations where it is not | :09:44. | :09:47.
appropriate for an intimate examinations. Sometimes GPs going to | :09:48. | :09:52.
the community and sometimes they don't have a chaperone. They have to | :09:53. | :09:56.
judge the situation and it is their personal reputation on the line | :09:57. | :10:04.
Those are the guidelines and this case is going to mean that GPs will | :10:05. | :10:11.
be extra vigilant in future. You are watching your local news. | :10:12. | :10:20.
Still to come: The goals that ended their dreams. Short wood FC's cup | :10:21. | :10:30.
run is over. Off you go. And Dwight David found out where the Children | :10:31. | :10:37.
In Need money was spent. `` and why. | :10:38. | :10:40.
A Bristol man who attacked his elderly mother with a claw hammer, | :10:41. | :10:43.
has today been sentenced to nine and a half years in prison. Andrew Deans | :10:44. | :10:47.
admitted carrying out the attack in February. The court heard Deans had | :10:48. | :10:50.
warned a mental health worker he would harm someone if he was | :10:51. | :10:53.
released, after he was detained two days before the attack. His | :10:54. | :10:56.
79`year`old mother survived the ordeal but was left with serious | :10:57. | :11:01.
head injuries. The former Somerset explosives plant | :11:02. | :11:04.
at Puriton is set to be turned into a site for renewable energy | :11:05. | :11:08.
companies. Permission has been granted to turn the old Royal | :11:09. | :11:11.
Ordnance Factory into a so`called energy park, housing firms which | :11:12. | :11:15.
promote green technologies. Developers will have to improve | :11:16. | :11:18.
nearby road junctions as part of the scheme. | :11:19. | :11:22.
An inquest has heard harrowing details of what may have been the | :11:23. | :11:27.
last moments of two young boys who are thought to have been killed by | :11:28. | :11:31.
their father before he took his own life. Three`year`old Bryn Anderson | :11:32. | :11:34.
and his brother Jack, who was 1 , were heard screaming in the flat | :11:35. | :11:40.
where they lived in Tidworth. The boys were living with their | :11:41. | :11:43.
father after their parents separated and were being supported by social | :11:44. | :11:50.
services. James Ingham has been following events at Wiltshire | :11:51. | :11:52.
Coroners Court. Earlier I asked him what's the background to the case? | :11:53. | :11:59.
It was on the 1st of September that three bodies were discovered in a | :12:00. | :12:03.
flat in Tidworth. It's believed 36`year`old Graham Anderson took his | :12:04. | :12:06.
own life after killing his two young sons, 11`year`old Jack and three | :12:07. | :12:10.
year old Bryn who were found dead in their beds. The boys had recently | :12:11. | :12:13.
moved in with their father after a period spent in foster care. Despite | :12:14. | :12:16.
having a history of violence, anti`social behaviour and drink and | :12:17. | :12:19.
drug abuse, social workers said he was fit to care for his children. | :12:20. | :12:23.
Their mother Victoria was drinking heavily so wasn't considered | :12:24. | :12:26.
capable. And it seemed to be going well. The childrens' social worker | :12:27. | :12:29.
said Mr Anderson had created a settled family life saying he was a | :12:30. | :12:33.
calm and loving father. But he was facing eviction from his flat after | :12:34. | :12:36.
failing to pay rent, and was worried about continuing custody of his | :12:37. | :12:39.
children. He'd seen a doctor because he said he was having problems | :12:40. | :12:42.
sleeping. There's been some harrowing evidence today, hasn't | :12:43. | :12:45.
there? Yes, the families in court were warned by the coroner about the | :12:46. | :12:48.
shocking nature of some of what they'd hear. She said she heard | :12:49. | :12:59.
frightened screams from two children and one boy shouting repeatedly | :13:00. | :13:03.
"What are you doing to me?" Two days later, the bodies of the children | :13:04. | :13:06.
and their father were found by a letting agent showing new tenants | :13:07. | :13:10.
around the flat. What have agencies who were involved with this family | :13:11. | :13:12.
said? Well, following these deaths, the Hampshire Safeguarding Children | :13:13. | :13:15.
Board has conducted a serious case review. It's concluded that these | :13:16. | :13:18.
deaths could not have been predicted and were therefore not preventable. | :13:19. | :13:23.
But it did say there could have been better multi`agency assessment of | :13:24. | :13:25.
Graham Anderson before he was awarded care of the children. It | :13:26. | :13:32.
said the children were happy and thriving and there's no evidence to | :13:33. | :13:35.
suggest they had ever been harmed by their father during their lifetime. | :13:36. | :13:39.
The coroner said he would consider very carefully what lessons can be | :13:40. | :13:45.
learned from this tragic case. The inquest will continue tomorrow. | :13:46. | :13:50.
A deal to stop two of Somerset's councils from going broke has passed | :13:51. | :13:53.
a major hurdle. This afternoon members of West Somerset Council | :13:54. | :13:56.
voted to merge staff and services with Taunton Deane Borough Council. | :13:57. | :13:59.
But the deal faces another crucial vote this evening. Our political | :14:00. | :14:04.
editor Paul Barltrop joins us live from Taunton Shortwood's historic FA | :14:05. | :14:05.
Cup run is how important is this deal? One | :14:06. | :14:21.
council leader described it as the biggest most important day in 2 | :14:22. | :14:26.
years as a counsellor. West Somerset and Taunton Deane want to share | :14:27. | :14:32.
services and save money. It is risky. Bringing forward that | :14:33. | :14:41.
transformation will raise ?2.7 million. Most West Somerset | :14:42. | :14:48.
councillors thought they had no other choice and for the council | :14:49. | :14:53.
leader, it was a huge relief. They have done well to get where it is | :14:54. | :14:59.
now and we now face an exciting future. Our councillors have been | :15:00. | :15:02.
given a huge amount of thought to this and they work closely with the | :15:03. | :15:07.
officers and members of Taunton Deane Borough Council. They made a | :15:08. | :15:14.
very wise and sensible decision Somewhat of this decision to be | :15:15. | :15:20.
deferred. What is that about? It is about who is in on the deal. A | :15:21. | :15:25.
year ago West Somerset started to looking at who they could link up | :15:26. | :15:28.
with. Initially the suggestion was that Sedgemoor would be the most | :15:29. | :15:33.
logical partnership but rather late in the day, Taunton Deane were | :15:34. | :15:39.
chosen as the council who would share services. They have spent the | :15:40. | :15:43.
last year developing the plan and it has been put to councillors today. | :15:44. | :15:48.
Sedgemoor have been complaining that they have been sidelined in saying | :15:49. | :15:51.
that it would be better for all concerned if it was a 3`way deal | :15:52. | :15:58.
with bigger savings. Has there been pressure from on high | :15:59. | :16:02.
about this? Because the leaders were summoned to | :16:03. | :16:05.
London. They met with the Secretary of State and he has been putting | :16:06. | :16:09.
pressure on them saying a three wheel `` a 3`way deal would be | :16:10. | :16:13.
better. Taunton Deane councillors are debating and will be voting on | :16:14. | :16:17.
it. The Lib Dems want to see the whole deal put on ice while the | :16:18. | :16:22.
three council option is locked out. This whole deal is far from certain. | :16:23. | :16:30.
It would have been a dream come true but short wood's historic FA Cup run | :16:31. | :16:33.
is over. The part`timers were beaten 4`0 by League One Port Vale last | :16:34. | :16:38.
night in front of a record crowd for the Gloucestershire club. But as | :16:39. | :16:42.
Alistair Durden reports, the cup run has made the club around ?100,0 0, | :16:43. | :16:45.
and left the fans with some great memories. | :16:46. | :16:53.
The first day in history and will be remembered for a long time. We are | :16:54. | :17:00.
really proud tonight. The atmosphere has been fantastic. It has been | :17:01. | :17:04.
really good for the boys and the club and it is nice to see the club | :17:05. | :17:08.
so busy. It was Shortwood's moment in the spotlight. Their debut | :17:09. | :17:11.
appearance in the FA Cup first round backed by a club record crowd of | :17:12. | :17:16.
over 1200. Could they match a side five divisions above them? For 5 | :17:17. | :17:19.
minutes the answer was yes, until Jennison Myrie`Williams scored. A | :17:20. | :17:31.
second followed before half`time. Undaunted, the part`timers dug in | :17:32. | :17:34.
giving their league opponents a scare or two. But they couldn't get | :17:35. | :17:40.
the goal they needed, and Port Vale added some gloss to the scoreline | :17:41. | :17:46.
with two more late strikes. A harsh end to a Cup run that had seen them | :17:47. | :17:50.
win five rounds just to get to this stage. The lads were looking paper | :17:51. | :18:01.
think that the school is a drubbing. We were in it for long periods. We | :18:02. | :18:07.
asked the question, have you enjoyed it? They have and they have loved | :18:08. | :18:11.
the experience. Money from the Cup run will be spent improving the | :18:12. | :18:14.
ground and floodlights. But just as important are the memories. You | :18:15. | :18:19.
dream of this happening and it has happened to us. It has come true | :18:20. | :18:26.
this year. To do it just once is fantastic for us and everyone | :18:27. | :18:28.
involved in the club. A night the small Gloucestershire hamlet will | :18:29. | :18:35.
never forget. They are still winners. If you | :18:36. | :18:42.
didn't already know it's Children In Need this Friday. And Points West | :18:43. | :18:45.
will be live at the Roman Baths during the main programme bringing | :18:46. | :18:48.
you updates on the donations being received here in our region. | :18:49. | :18:51.
One of the charities already benefiting is Lawrence Weston | :18:52. | :18:54.
Community Farm in Bristol, and David Garmston has been to see how their | :18:55. | :19:00.
work helps benefit youngsters. I come here every day. I think it is | :19:01. | :19:08.
nice to come here and see the animals. All the animals, they come | :19:09. | :19:20.
out. I come every Saturday as well. My job is to get them on board and | :19:21. | :19:26.
give them something fun and engaging to do with their time and get | :19:27. | :19:29.
involved with looking after the animals. We work with eight to | :19:30. | :19:34.
11`year`old children who live locally. They need some positive | :19:35. | :19:42.
activities to engage them. They come and they work on the farm and they | :19:43. | :19:47.
learn about how to look after the animals. It is fun and I like to | :19:48. | :19:59.
look after the animals very well. You want me to do something? Yes! | :20:00. | :20:12.
Get the brush. Some of the children come from homes that may not have | :20:13. | :20:14.
outside space, they may struggle making friends, they may be bullies. | :20:15. | :20:18.
There is a range of needs. Why do you love coming here? We come to | :20:19. | :20:25.
look after the animals. When I come here, I am calm and when I am not | :20:26. | :20:30.
here, I'm frantic, running around. Susan, off you go. David, you are | :20:31. | :20:41.
not allowed to name them. There is not one background that is the same | :20:42. | :20:47.
but they all benefit hugely, hugely, hugely from their time here. | :20:48. | :20:54.
You could eventually eat season They enjoy it? They are very | :20:55. | :20:57.
passionate about what they do. They are the future workers and managers | :20:58. | :21:06.
of the farm. You can apply for one of the older farm hands and a proper | :21:07. | :21:11.
job here. That is what I am going to do. The children of the animals here | :21:12. | :21:15.
and take care of them and by doing so, they can put their problems too | :21:16. | :21:20.
is one side for a couple of hours and learn to love themselves a | :21:21. | :21:24.
little bit more. That is why they need your help through Children In | :21:25. | :21:32.
Need. Those kids are natural farmers. Not | :21:33. | :21:35.
sure about David. And of course David and Alex will be at our live | :21:36. | :21:39.
event at the Roman Baths in Bath this Friday. But in the meantime BBC | :21:40. | :21:42.
Radio Bristol presenter John Darvall has laid down a challenge to his | :21:43. | :21:46.
listeners. During his show this morning John said if they can raise | :21:47. | :21:49.
?1200 for Children In Need, he'll get a tattoo done, live on air! | :21:50. | :21:58.
Maybe something like this? There's great excitement in Bath | :21:59. | :22:01.
tonight. Mary Berry, star of the Great British Bake Off has just | :22:02. | :22:04.
switched on the city's Christmas lights. Our very own Imogen Sellers | :22:05. | :22:09.
has been hosting the event and Liz Beacon was also there for us. | :22:10. | :22:15.
Thousands of people have been making their way for this evening's switch | :22:16. | :22:22.
on. This is the main shopping street that runs through the heart of this | :22:23. | :22:27.
city. A short while ago, this city started its countdown to Christmas. | :22:28. | :22:30.
Five, four, three, two, one. The year before last, it was the | :22:31. | :22:46.
turn of John Cleese to switch on the lights and a few years before that, | :22:47. | :22:49.
Hollywood legend, Nicolas Cage came to the city. This year, the honour | :22:50. | :23:01.
falls to Mary Berry, the star of the great British bake off. I asked her | :23:02. | :23:06.
what it meant to be switching on the lights. `` Great British Bake Off. | :23:07. | :23:14.
It is an enormous honour to switch on the lights. This is my hometown. | :23:15. | :23:23.
I was born here 78 years ago. It is very exciting. I was at school and | :23:24. | :23:30.
college here and I just feel very honoured and very excited. There is | :23:31. | :23:40.
another honour that is about to be bestowed on you. You are going to be | :23:41. | :23:43.
given the freedom of the city. It is very moving and very prestigious. | :23:44. | :23:50.
People have been given such an honour and I am overwhelmed. It is | :23:51. | :24:02.
very exciting. We are here in the Mayors parlour and your father was | :24:03. | :24:08.
mayor in 1952. What would he make of you `` what would he have made of | :24:09. | :24:17.
you being here? I think you might be rather thrilled and proud. He is the | :24:18. | :24:21.
only mayor of this century who is hanging in here as a portrait and I | :24:22. | :24:29.
have given him a wink and a nod In Great British Bake Off, it has been | :24:30. | :24:34.
such a success. Are you enjoying the famed and the wing killed `` and the | :24:35. | :24:37.
rekindled state as it has brought you? I love the Great British Bake | :24:38. | :24:44.
Off and it's thrilling that we have had over 9 million viewers. It has | :24:45. | :24:48.
brought families together. At eight o'clock, everybody watches it and | :24:49. | :24:58.
the next day, the ones go to school asking for a bake. I gather some | :24:59. | :25:01.
fathers are missing football to sit down with everyone and watch it | :25:02. | :25:10.
The celebrations are starting to draw to a close and people are | :25:11. | :25:15.
starting to make their way home but this has marked the start of the | :25:16. | :25:19.
busiest time of the year for this city and it has been a pretty classy | :25:20. | :25:24.
occasion. It is great. Let us get the weather | :25:25. | :25:28.
now. For the first time this season, the | :25:29. | :25:39.
frost is here. It is going to be a cold one tonight with overnight | :25:40. | :25:44.
temperatures getting just above freezing. A frost is possible. It | :25:45. | :25:48.
could be a frosty 's butt da `` it could be a frosty spark `` start. | :25:49. | :25:58.
The cloud that we saw earlier will disappear and we have an area of | :25:59. | :26:03.
high pressure moving in overnight night. That keeps us dry and clear. | :26:04. | :26:10.
It does move through the day and this weather system will come into | :26:11. | :26:21.
bring us a future was `` bring us a few showers. All the cloud we saw | :26:22. | :26:26.
today has gone and we are left with the clear sky and quickly those | :26:27. | :26:28.
temperatures are going to tumble away. At the same time that happens, | :26:29. | :26:35.
we see a few mist patches forming and by tomorrow morning, some folks | :26:36. | :26:38.
could develop a match could be tricky for the rush`hour. Those are | :26:39. | :26:44.
the temperatures we can expect. Tomorrow, it is the misty start and | :26:45. | :26:48.
a cold start but then the sunshine comes out. More in the way of cloud | :26:49. | :26:55.
through the afternoon and by the end of the afternoon, as we move into | :26:56. | :26:59.
the early evening, a few showers will turn up and those winds become | :27:00. | :27:07.
south`westerly. The outlook is pretty settled. There isn't a great | :27:08. | :27:12.
deal of wet weather. The showers will be overnight tomorrow night and | :27:13. | :27:18.
into Thursday. For Friday and Saturday, daytime temperatures are | :27:19. | :27:24.
struggling a little bit. There is a lot of cloud around. We have | :27:25. | :27:29.
night`time temperatures of five Celsius. Good evening. | :27:30. | :27:37.
We will try and bring you the football match results later from | :27:38. | :27:43.
the Johnstones Paint Trophy. Good night. | :27:44. | :27:45. |
