the north and west. That's all from the BBC news at six. | :00:00. | :00:10.
Welcome to Points West. The headlines: allegations of modern`day | :00:11. | :00:20.
slavery. Police investigate reports of forced labour and human | :00:21. | :00:24.
trafficking after three men are taken to a safe house. | :00:25. | :00:29.
The Gloucestershire arrester cracked facing jail after admitting he beat | :00:30. | :00:33.
his wife. The ?35 million project to bring | :00:34. | :00:38.
more shops and jobs to Swindon. And after an attack that left him | :00:39. | :00:40.
brain`damaged, the aspiring footballer back on those pitch and | :00:41. | :00:49.
aiming for glory. Good evening. Three men who are | :00:50. | :00:56.
believed to be the victims of slavery are still being cared for | :00:57. | :00:59.
tonight in a safe house, following weekend raids by the police. It | :01:00. | :01:02.
follows an investigation into forced labour and human trafficking across | :01:03. | :01:05.
the West. This afternoon, a second man was bailed by the police pending | :01:06. | :01:09.
further inquires. In a moment, we'll be discussing a modern`day slavery | :01:10. | :01:11.
bill which is going before Parliament. But first, Laura Jones | :01:12. | :01:13.
reports. Early Sunday morning ` and the | :01:14. | :01:16.
police move in. A series of coordinated raids on travellers | :01:17. | :01:19.
sites, homes and a business across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and | :01:20. | :01:24.
Somerset. Two people are arrested on suspicion of slavery offences ` one | :01:25. | :01:27.
has since been released on police bail. `` both have been bailed. The | :01:28. | :01:36.
raids are part of what Avon and Somerset Police describe as an | :01:37. | :01:38.
ongoing and dynamic inquiry. Three men ` believed to be victims of | :01:39. | :01:43.
slavery ` one in his 30s, one in his 40s and one in his 50s ` have been | :01:44. | :01:47.
taken to a place of safety, where they're being offered counselling | :01:48. | :01:50.
and support. This is the latest in a series of high`profile cases | :01:51. | :01:55.
involving allegations of slavery. It may seem shocking, but for Mark | :01:56. | :01:59.
Ovenden, it's no surprise at all. The 27`year`old from North Somerset | :02:00. | :02:03.
was held as a slave for nearly a year. Typically, I would be up at | :02:04. | :02:13.
4am, bundled into the back of a van, and Joan for two or three hours to a | :02:14. | :02:18.
suburb of London. Once we were there, we would work for up to 8 | :02:19. | :02:27.
hours. We be there until nine or ten or 11 at night. We would have one | :02:28. | :02:32.
meal, a small fast food children's meal. Then we would be driven home | :02:33. | :02:38.
where we would clean the site, brushing the arts and cleaning | :02:39. | :02:45.
caravans, things like that. You eventually went to bed at God knows | :02:46. | :02:48.
what time of the morning, and walk up the next day and carries on. `` | :02:49. | :02:55.
woke up the next day. The Bristol`based charity Unseen says it | :02:56. | :02:58.
believes there could be up to 6 00 more people like Mark in the UK | :02:59. | :03:04.
today. 200 years ago, it was easy to identify slaves. They were shackled | :03:05. | :03:08.
and on the docks. Nowadays, shackles are psychological. These people have | :03:09. | :03:15.
violence threatened against them, the worst and could be entered it | :03:16. | :03:20.
bondage, and find it very difficult to leave. Mark's ordeal began after | :03:21. | :03:31.
he was approached at a soup kitchen. People don't get it, and they ask me | :03:32. | :03:35.
why I didn't run, but it's not as simple as that. The whole thing is | :03:36. | :03:42.
both bizarre and quite disturbing, knowing the scheme of it. Very | :03:43. | :03:47.
disturbing. Mark has been three for three years and is rebuilding his | :03:48. | :03:51.
life, trying to help others in similar situations. | :03:52. | :03:54.
Well, next week a modern day slavery bill will go before Parliament. | :03:55. | :03:58.
Let's cross now to Westminster to talk to Christian Guy, from the | :03:59. | :04:01.
Centre for Social Justice, which has been involved in a report into | :04:02. | :04:04.
slavery which has helped lead to this bill. Do we really need a bill | :04:05. | :04:14.
for this? We do, we have needed one for very `` much parted long, but | :04:15. | :04:20.
the government has just stepped up. People assume it is a problem for | :04:21. | :04:27.
the mac from the past, when the slave trade was dealt with, but | :04:28. | :04:32.
unfortunately, it is now the second largest international trade, behind | :04:33. | :04:36.
the drug trade. It happened here, not just abroad. It is high time we | :04:37. | :04:41.
have this bill, and off we get it right, it could be an important | :04:42. | :04:46.
moment for the country. We heard the phrase invisible handcuffs, how do | :04:47. | :04:51.
you recognise and identify modern sleeves? There are tell`tale signs, | :04:52. | :05:00.
and people have to learn to spot them. People in the system will see | :05:01. | :05:07.
victims of slavery, and they were often be treated as criminals and | :05:08. | :05:13.
not victims, because it is hard to identify that. There are huge levels | :05:14. | :05:19.
of abuse and coercion. When you dig down, you can see symptoms, and this | :05:20. | :05:25.
is important we get very professionals `` give our | :05:26. | :05:28.
professionals the tools to get this done. In Bristol, things are working | :05:29. | :05:33.
really well between a charity and the police, and we need that around | :05:34. | :05:39.
the country. He worked on the report that led to be built. What you want | :05:40. | :05:44.
to happen next? We have been running a process with the Labour MP Frank | :05:45. | :05:49.
Field to lobby the Home Secretary. We need several things in the bill. | :05:50. | :05:53.
We need new leadership in the country, and the government is | :05:54. | :05:57.
committed to an anti`slavery Commissioner, who would lead the | :05:58. | :06:00.
fight and coordinate efforts. We think businesses need to step up. | :06:01. | :06:07.
Supply chains are big problem, and is often not clear what is happening | :06:08. | :06:11.
down the supply chain. We need to look and see if sleeves are in the | :06:12. | :06:14.
supply chain. We have to help victims, as prosecutors struggle to | :06:15. | :06:23.
get gangs who are involved. That needs to happen soon. Thank you very | :06:24. | :06:30.
much. An aristocrat from Gloucestershire has been told he | :06:31. | :06:33.
faces jail after admitting beating his wife of over 22 years. Lord | :06:34. | :06:37.
Edward Somerset ` who is the son of the Duke of Beaufort ` today | :06:38. | :06:40.
admitted four counts of assault against his wife, Lady Caroline The | :06:41. | :06:43.
attacks included kicking, scratching and pulling her hair. Clinton Rogers | :06:44. | :06:49.
reports. Lord and Lady Somerset, pictured | :06:50. | :06:53.
here at their wedding in 1982. Picture which emerged at the Stoke | :06:54. | :06:58.
on Court today was of a relationship that emit gamma descended into | :06:59. | :07:03.
domestic violence just eight years later. Lord Somerset here arriving | :07:04. | :07:10.
in court has admitted four charges of assault, causing his wife actual | :07:11. | :07:15.
bodily harm. The attacks are said to have happened in the family home, | :07:16. | :07:19.
and stately house which forms part of the Duke of Beaufort's estate. | :07:20. | :07:24.
The son of the Duke appeared under his full name, and of the four | :07:25. | :07:31.
charges against him, the oldest dates back to 1990, and the most | :07:32. | :07:34.
recent was October last year. The judge called it a substantial period | :07:35. | :07:40.
of domestic violence, and want him that he could face a prison | :07:41. | :07:48.
sentence. ", `` in court, the court accepted that there was a sustained | :07:49. | :07:57.
record of violence, often related to drink or drugs. Although they are | :07:58. | :08:01.
now seeking a divorce, Lady Caroline applied to the court for a | :08:02. | :08:05.
restraining order, preventing her husband from contacting her, and in | :08:06. | :08:08.
making that order, the prosecution spoke of a meeting that they said | :08:09. | :08:12.
had been engineered by the Duke of Beaufort and a cousin of Lady | :08:13. | :08:17.
Caroline, at which, discussions were hard about finances and dropping the | :08:18. | :08:21.
case. Lady Caroline was said to be upset when she heard about that | :08:22. | :08:25.
meeting, and said she still feared her husband. Lord Somerset will be | :08:26. | :08:32.
sentenced on February six. `` the 6th of February. Soldiers from the | :08:33. | :08:38.
4th Battalion, the Rifles received service medals from the Duchess of | :08:39. | :08:41.
Cornwall today. Camilla is Royal Colonel of the Bulford`based | :08:42. | :08:44.
battalion and chatted to family members before watching the troops | :08:45. | :08:47.
parade. They recently returned from a six`month tour in Afghanistan | :08:48. | :08:55.
training the Afghan National Army. You're watching Points West. It is | :08:56. | :09:02.
the second week of December. Ian is here with the weather, and there is | :09:03. | :09:07.
best to. Join me later to see Nu me without the beard! And see him | :09:08. | :09:12.
hairless! He's swum the length of Britain ` now Sean Conway takes on | :09:13. | :09:15.
another challenge and shaves off his beard, as promised, for charity | :09:16. | :09:23.
Work has started on a big extension to the designer outlet centre in | :09:24. | :09:29.
Swindon, which will create 350 jobs. The new shops will be housed in an | :09:30. | :09:33.
iconic building on the former Great Western Railway site called the Long | :09:34. | :09:36.
Shop. It's the last derelict building on the site to be restored. | :09:37. | :09:41.
Alice Bouverie reports. Time is moving on at last at the | :09:42. | :09:50.
Long Shop. It was built in 1874 and once gave work to hundreds of men, | :09:51. | :09:55.
all the parts needed for the locomotives on the great Western | :09:56. | :09:59.
Railway were forged here right up until 1986, when the works closed. | :10:00. | :10:06.
It was like Dante's Inferno. Wait a horrific atmosphere. `` quite a | :10:07. | :10:13.
horrific atmosphere. It was quite an important shop. As with the rest of | :10:14. | :10:17.
the centre, many of the building's features will | :10:18. | :10:25.
be kept. They're hoping to hang the crane in M In parts, you'll also | :10:26. | :10:29.
be able to see up to the original ceiling. It's all being done at | :10:30. | :10:32.
breakneck speed. There'll be a food quarter here by spring next year. | :10:33. | :10:36.
The shops will be open in September. Since it first opened in 1997, this | :10:37. | :10:41.
place has seen amazing growth. When it opens next year, it will be the | :10:42. | :10:46.
centre's third extension, adding 30 shops and taking the number of | :10:47. | :10:50.
people employed to 1100. Household budgets may still be tight, but here | :10:51. | :10:54.
at least times are good. Last year, there were 3.5 million shoppers Our | :10:55. | :11:03.
customers love coming here, and we often a fantastic experience. Rate | :11:04. | :11:10.
value, great brands, so it's all in all, very exciting and something | :11:11. | :11:13.
that is going to bring something really special to the region. It's | :11:14. | :11:17.
an emotional time for people working here. Swindon's history is so | :11:18. | :11:23.
tightly bound up with the railways. As an iconic building, because it is | :11:24. | :11:27.
one of the older shops in the complex. It's really important to | :11:28. | :11:36.
save the heritage. It is a symbolic milestone for the time, the last | :11:37. | :11:41.
workshop now becoming another retail destination. The first trains on a | :11:42. | :11:51.
new commuter route between Westbury and Swindon have been running today, | :11:52. | :11:53.
and passengers had their tickets stamped by a special conductor ` the | :11:54. | :11:57.
MP for Chippenham, Duncan Hames The new service had a grant worth more | :11:58. | :12:01.
than ?4 million from the Government. Eight trains a day will run between | :12:02. | :12:10.
the two stations. A competition is being held tonight to find the next | :12:11. | :12:13.
West Country business idea that could sell worldwide. It's called | :12:14. | :12:16.
Born Global, and last year's winner ended up on a trade mission to Japan | :12:17. | :12:21.
with the Prime Minister. So who are the contenders? Here's our business | :12:22. | :12:24.
correspondent, Dave Harvey. Good morning. Welcome to the Bristol | :12:25. | :12:30.
executive jet centre here at distal airport. | :12:31. | :12:36.
It's not the side of the airport I had ever seen before. This will set | :12:37. | :12:41.
you back ?30 million. Its owner is a West Country entrepreneur who struck | :12:42. | :12:47.
gold. Born Global is a competition devised to find tomorrow's | :12:48. | :12:52.
superstars. From across the West, ten people with a business idea they | :12:53. | :12:58.
think the world can't wait for. Entrepreneurs are different. They | :12:59. | :13:02.
have to have drive and it determination, because you will get | :13:03. | :13:08.
knock backs. They iron eggs `` they are an ex`soldier, and others. My | :13:09. | :13:17.
products can be used by all the emergency services. Everyone in the | :13:18. | :13:27.
world has got yours, one in seven of them have a hearing test. Why should | :13:28. | :13:32.
people have to go somewhere to get their hearing test, when they could | :13:33. | :13:36.
stay at home and do it at home on their computer. It all began in | :13:37. | :13:43.
conference rooms like this. Over 60 entrepreneurs with every conceivable | :13:44. | :13:46.
kind of pitch. We're looking the health`conscious, high net worth | :13:47. | :13:52.
individuals. We believe that we were born to be global. There is a huge | :13:53. | :14:03.
global market potential. It was a great pitch, but in the end, not a | :14:04. | :14:07.
winner. These are the ten strongest sales people, each helping dumber | :14:08. | :14:12.
hoping to sell the west of the world. Which one of you are going to | :14:13. | :14:20.
win Born Global 2013, and hopefully fly off in one of these aircraft? | :14:21. | :14:27.
With all these fancy jets and the big prize, it looks like another TV | :14:28. | :14:32.
reality show, doesn't it? But this is real. Those are real companies, | :14:33. | :14:37.
who already sell real goods and services to the world. The | :14:38. | :14:40.
competition has been redone to get the better `` get them better at it | :14:41. | :14:44.
and get more people doing it. Exporters crawl more quickly and are | :14:45. | :14:50.
more profitable, and the businesses last longer. We find after two | :14:51. | :14:55.
years, it exporters are growing at about 30% per annum. It brings | :14:56. | :15:01.
wealth and it brings jobs. We now expert something like 13 .3 billion | :15:02. | :15:08.
pounds per year. That is up from last year, and we have 4.5 more | :15:09. | :15:17.
exporters than last year. Tonight, it is every entrepreneur for | :15:18. | :15:27.
themselves. Good luck! And you can find out who walks off with the big | :15:28. | :15:30.
prize tomorrow night, here on Points West. Bath director of rugby Gary | :15:31. | :15:37.
Gold has left his position with immediate effect. The club says the | :15:38. | :15:40.
decision was taken following a re`structuring of the rugby | :15:41. | :15:43.
department. Our sports editor Alistair Durden is here ` is this a | :15:44. | :15:47.
surprise with the team doing so well? Yes, I guess on the surface it | :15:48. | :15:54.
looks surprising. They have had nine wins in a row, her third in the | :15:55. | :16:00.
premiership, so all is well. But it is worth remembering that she | :16:01. | :16:04.
arrived as head coach 18 months ago, and didn't have a great first season | :16:05. | :16:08.
in charge. He changed his role in the summer and became of rugby, and | :16:09. | :16:15.
make forward replaced him. `` make forward. You could argue that they | :16:16. | :16:21.
have been top`heavy in the coaching department, and we understand that | :16:22. | :16:24.
they are not looking to replace him, so with that in context, his | :16:25. | :16:33.
departure is not a big surprise Winnings a winning start for | :16:34. | :16:39.
Bristol's new manager? Yes, and he is promising that his | :16:40. | :16:43.
players will get better and better, and that victory over Tamworth atop | :16:44. | :16:49.
a third`round tie against Watford, but yesterday's game was a first | :16:50. | :16:53.
chance to see what impact the new manager has had. | :16:54. | :16:58.
Bath director of rugby Gary Gold has left his position with immediate | :16:59. | :16:59.
effect. You have to give him a few chances | :17:00. | :17:14.
to suss out the team. Hopefully he will get the team moving and get a | :17:15. | :17:20.
few goals. His first`team selection didn't include any great surprises, | :17:21. | :17:23.
and it took 35 minutes to break down the launch. Mac non`B `` non`league | :17:24. | :17:34.
opponents. Thomas did not disappoint his new manager. It was his 15th | :17:35. | :17:41.
goal of the season. They had to wait till the next ten minutes to get | :17:42. | :17:46.
there second. Tamworth had time to scramble a late consolation goal, | :17:47. | :17:51.
which was judged to have crossed the line, but city were safely through | :17:52. | :17:54.
and the verdict on the manager's first game? You know, they have had | :17:55. | :18:02.
to play without a manager, so I think they are doing well. He will | :18:03. | :18:10.
sort us out! Go on! What you have to bear in mind is that we are done in | :18:11. | :18:14.
the lower echelons of league one, so we are not full of confidence at | :18:15. | :18:18.
this time. That was a good win for us, and hopefully now, we consider | :18:19. | :18:22.
players don't know. The draw was made straight after the match. | :18:23. | :18:30.
Watford. They couldn't hide her disappointment. It's still a big | :18:31. | :18:39.
game, though, and getting out team in the Premier league would have | :18:40. | :18:42.
been nicer, but we can hopefully get past Watford. Before that, five | :18:43. | :18:48.
important from the games with a priority has to be improving their | :18:49. | :18:58.
lowly position in the table. Now a story which can't fail to inspire | :18:59. | :19:02.
you. An aspiring footballer has rebuilt his life after being left | :19:03. | :19:05.
brain`damaged following an attack in Gloucestershire. The assault on Jack | :19:06. | :19:09.
Rutter was so vicious he had to give up his hopes of playing in the | :19:10. | :19:12.
Premiership. But he didn't give up, and is now Captain of the England | :19:13. | :19:15.
Cerebral Palsy squad. Now, Rio beckons in 2016. Our Gloucestershire | :19:16. | :19:18.
reporter, Steve Knibbs, has been to meet him. | :19:19. | :19:26.
It was an absolute dream to play for a professional club. Especially when | :19:27. | :19:31.
I was playing for a Premier league team. I was training with top | :19:32. | :19:34.
professionals, and it was unbelievable experience. Jack Rutter | :19:35. | :19:37.
was signed to the Birmingham City academy at ten years of age ` but | :19:38. | :19:41.
four years ago he was hit to the ground in an unprovoked attack in | :19:42. | :19:44.
Gloucester. He had a brain haemorrhage after fracturing his | :19:45. | :19:47.
skull ` it left him in intensive care with severe brain damage and | :19:48. | :19:51.
permanent loss of hearing in his right ear. My coordination and | :19:52. | :19:56.
balance was extremely affected. I lost balance on one side because of | :19:57. | :20:01.
the deafness and the brain injury. I couldn't walk straight. The injuries | :20:02. | :20:04.
destroyed Jack's dreams of becoming a Premiership footballer ` but after | :20:05. | :20:07.
a long difficult road of recovery, he's back in the game. This is the | :20:08. | :20:11.
FA's new multi`million pound training centre in the Midlands ` | :20:12. | :20:14.
home to Roy Hodgson's team, of course ` but also the England | :20:15. | :20:17.
Cerebral Palsy team ` for players with CP and head injuries. And their | :20:18. | :20:28.
new captain Jack Rutter. You never expect to have a second chance, and | :20:29. | :20:33.
play for your country. It is absolutely amazing. I'm going to | :20:34. | :20:38.
grab it with both hands, and it s a great feeling for me. The team is | :20:39. | :20:45.
still in development, but the coach is aiming for top five in the | :20:46. | :20:48.
European Championships. Key to that is the captain. I saw some inherent | :20:49. | :20:55.
qualities that Jack possesses. One of them is leadership, and he is a | :20:56. | :21:00.
winner. He wants to do things professionally, and from his | :21:01. | :21:04.
background, being at a professional club, that helps him bring a great | :21:05. | :21:12.
deal to our party. Jack says this is his second chance. After a life | :21:13. | :21:16.
changing incident not just for him but for his family. He's a very | :21:17. | :21:20.
strong and courageous young man A of people it would have thought | :21:21. | :21:25.
them, but he has had some very dark moments, but he is strong and | :21:26. | :21:30.
resilient, and I'm hoping for good things for him in the future. And | :21:31. | :21:35.
that future seems full of ambition and aspiration. I had to retire from | :21:36. | :21:41.
the professional game, but this is a dream come true. I want a captain `` | :21:42. | :21:51.
to captain the GB team at Rio de Janeiro and 2016. | :21:52. | :22:00.
Unstoppable! Here is amazing, isn't he? Now to another inspirational | :22:01. | :22:09.
person ` you may remember this on Points West last month. I'm sure in | :22:10. | :22:15.
Conwy and I grew this ridiculous beard to ward off jellyfish, to say | :22:16. | :22:20.
thank you for the Born Global viewers, I pledge to shave this off | :22:21. | :22:28.
life on TV `` live on TV if you donate to Children In Need. Well, | :22:29. | :22:31.
today he stood by his promise, as Fiona Lamdin reports. Back swimming | :22:32. | :22:36.
again` but this time in much warmer waters. After 900 miles in freezing | :22:37. | :22:40.
sea, today Sean was back in the Cheletenham pool where he did all | :22:41. | :22:49.
his training. This is the first time I've been back in any sort of water | :22:50. | :22:54.
since I finished this swim, and it's very warm! It's the first thing I've | :22:55. | :22:58.
noticed! He swam into John O'Groats exactly four weeks ago, as the | :22:59. | :23:01.
world's media looked on, and since then his life has been transformed | :23:02. | :23:05.
with his new`found fame. All of a sudden, I'm going out to dinner with | :23:06. | :23:10.
people like Ben Fogle, and being invited to parties and offered book | :23:11. | :23:14.
deals and things like that. It has been a whirlwind. He's a well`known | :23:15. | :23:17.
face now on the streets of Cheltenham, helped by his infamous | :23:18. | :23:20.
ginger beard. A beard which has helped raised thousands for Children | :23:21. | :23:23.
In Need as he pledged to shave it off. Right, take it all off! For the | :23:24. | :23:32.
last five and a half months, this beard has become part of Sean's | :23:33. | :23:36.
identity. It is how we recognise him and it has protected him from cold | :23:37. | :23:42.
and jellyfish. But right now, it is all coming from SOP `` all coming | :23:43. | :23:49.
off. But it's not as fast as you'd think. It is, in fact, a lengthy | :23:50. | :23:52.
process. Sean's in the chair for over an hour. There are the | :23:53. | :23:55.
clippers, the facial, the foam, and then the cut`throat razor comes out. | :23:56. | :24:02.
And his reaction. Wow! I look very different, don't I? I have a really | :24:03. | :24:06.
small face! But maybe more importantly, what does his mother | :24:07. | :24:10.
make of his new look? I would tell him, walk on the other side of the | :24:11. | :24:15.
road and don't call me ma'am, because you look like a tramp! That | :24:16. | :24:25.
is the support I get from mother! I'm still prayed a few! But Sean | :24:26. | :24:28.
assures me that the clean`shaven look is not here to stay. As of | :24:29. | :24:32.
tonight, he's starting to re`grow the big ginger beard` he needs it | :24:33. | :24:35.
for his next challenge. So maybe, like Samson, it really is the | :24:36. | :24:48.
strength behind this man. Follow the next beard suggest him | :24:49. | :24:53.
from? He could have been a ginger Father Christmas! Right, it's time | :24:54. | :24:58.
for the weather. Ian is here. Father Christmas! Right, it's time | :24:59. | :25:06.
for the Hi there, it is been noticeably mail today, and is will | :25:07. | :25:10.
be pretty similar tomorrow. Generally more cloud around than | :25:11. | :25:14.
today, but the through the course of the afternoon, some brighter spells | :25:15. | :25:17.
developing, and for the here and now at least, I dry picture. Light winds | :25:18. | :25:21.
across the course of today, but we will reverse that over the course of | :25:22. | :25:28.
the night, and there may be light showers, but very few of those. | :25:29. | :25:34.
Equally, we might see a bit of fog, particularly in the south`east of | :25:35. | :25:40.
the Cotswolds, but hopefully, nothing too problematic tomorrow | :25:41. | :25:43.
morning. Temperatures generally in around the area of three or four | :25:44. | :25:49.
degrees. There will be the odd exception, but tomorrow will start | :25:50. | :25:53.
with one to light showers, and it will be dry. As the day goes by | :25:54. | :25:58.
maybe some brighter showers as we head to the afternoon as well. Winds | :25:59. | :26:02.
will be generally light and moderate. Temperatures much as we've | :26:03. | :26:08.
seen the course of this afternoon, looking quite healthy from the time | :26:09. | :26:14.
of year. `` for the time of year. Perhaps even 12 in one of two | :26:15. | :26:18.
sports. How long is this going to last? Well, a broadly similar theme | :26:19. | :26:25.
as we go through Wednesday, but signs of change trying to take place | :26:26. | :26:30.
at the end of the working week from the West. As we get through to the | :26:31. | :26:34.
weekend, there is a signal from these areas of low pressure | :26:35. | :26:39.
squeezing in towards the east and south`east, but with very little | :26:40. | :26:43.
success. Despite the way this works, I wouldn't take it literally. It | :26:44. | :26:50.
remains oddly dry, but that could change, the temperature speak for | :26:51. | :26:55.
themselves, don't they not? Thank you, Ian. | :26:56. | :26:56.
themselves, don't they not? Thank you, Time now to open our | :26:57. | :26:59.
