Welcome to BBC Points West with Alex Lovell and David Garmston. Our main | :00:15. | :00:19.
story tonight: The child slaves seeking sanctuary in the West. | :00:20. | :00:22.
Bristol opens its doors to the children smuggled into the country | :00:23. | :00:25.
and forced into modern day slavery. Children know that the because | :00:26. | :00:29.
nowhere their family live. We'll be looking at the scale of the problem | :00:30. | :00:33.
and talking to the charity that s setting up the first safe house in | :00:34. | :00:40.
Britain. The other stories making the news | :00:41. | :00:46.
tonight: A return to the village privy ` the locals forced to use | :00:47. | :00:49.
outside loos because of the flooding. | :00:50. | :00:52.
The new 20mph speed limits and how some children found out the | :00:53. | :01:01.
grown`ups are ignoring the rules. They know they could actually hit a | :01:02. | :01:04.
child and really hurt them. Why do they do it? | :01:05. | :01:08.
And the latest battle in the War of the Roses ` a fight to save this | :01:09. | :01:13.
historic field from developers. Good evening. | :01:14. | :01:17.
A safe house is to open in Bristol to provide sanctuary for children | :01:18. | :01:19.
who've been smuggled into the country where they're treated like | :01:20. | :01:25.
modern day slaves. The house will be the only one in Britain and is a | :01:26. | :01:28.
place where the young people can feel secure for the first time since | :01:29. | :01:31.
being rescued. Their stories are horrifying. Some are being brought | :01:32. | :01:36.
to the UK to work in drugs factories or the sex industry. The gruesome | :01:37. | :01:39.
trade is called trafficking and there are hundreds of victims. Fiona | :01:40. | :01:42.
Lamdin's report begins with one boy's story and his words are spoken | :01:43. | :01:52.
by an actor. I was 15 when I came here from Vietnam. My family was | :01:53. | :01:59.
very poor. A friend of my father's offered me a job in a restaurant, | :02:00. | :02:03.
but when I arrived I was met by a different man. The man said I had to | :02:04. | :02:09.
do everything he told me to do or I would be arrested and my family | :02:10. | :02:13.
would be in trouble. I was locked in the house and forced to look after | :02:14. | :02:15.
cannabis plants. The doors and windows were locked, it was dark. I | :02:16. | :02:23.
had very little food and if I asked questions I was beaten. I was not | :02:24. | :02:27.
allowed out at all. 549 children were identified as | :02:28. | :02:31.
trafficked in 2012. The authorities believe the real figure is much | :02:32. | :02:39.
much higher. We are seeing more cases of people being trafficked, | :02:40. | :02:46.
examples of modern slavery and people in need of care from the | :02:47. | :02:54.
police and other agencies. Trafficked children have been found | :02:55. | :02:59.
working in cannabis factories, brothels and selling sexual | :03:00. | :03:03.
services, domestic servitude. And we are coming across anecdotal evidence | :03:04. | :03:07.
of organ harvesting. In Bristol when police discover trafficked | :03:08. | :03:09.
children at the moment they're handed over to social services, to | :03:10. | :03:14.
be placed in a foster family or sometimes a B But the current | :03:15. | :03:16.
statistics show 60% of these children will have disappeared | :03:17. | :03:19.
within the first 48 hours of their rescue, never to be found again | :03:20. | :03:25.
Lots of the children are going missing because of the pull factors | :03:26. | :03:28.
the traffickers have on the children. Children know traffickers | :03:29. | :03:31.
know where their family live, what they might to do them. And that s | :03:32. | :03:40.
why the Bristol charity Unseen is setting up the country's first ever | :03:41. | :03:47.
safe house. The idea we can have an alternative vision, a safe house | :03:48. | :03:50.
that combines an appropriate environment to live in with a close | :03:51. | :03:54.
eye on security for the longer term is ideal. It will only have four | :03:55. | :03:59.
places for teenagers, but it's a start in tackling modern day | :04:00. | :04:05.
slavery. Andrew Wallis is head of the charity | :04:06. | :04:08.
Unseen, featured there in Fiona s report. Can you define for us what | :04:09. | :04:20.
to be trafficked means because I think there is a lot of | :04:21. | :04:24.
preconceptions? We are talking about children who have their rights taken | :04:25. | :04:30.
away from them and are exploited. It can be sexual exploitation, forced | :04:31. | :04:35.
labour, the cannabis trade or domestic servitude. Kids are moved | :04:36. | :04:39.
into the UK and then moved around the country for the process of | :04:40. | :04:45.
exploiting them, turning them into a commodity to be bought and sold We | :04:46. | :04:49.
don't always think of it on our backs doorstep will stop is it a | :04:50. | :04:52.
problem in the West or is it a UK problem? It is a UK wide problem, it | :04:53. | :04:59.
can happen in villages, towns and cities and is a growing problem in | :05:00. | :05:05.
the UK. One of the most shocking things is 60% of people go back We | :05:06. | :05:10.
understand there are reasons and the traffickers have a hold over them. | :05:11. | :05:14.
Why might that be different if they are in a safe house? We know the | :05:15. | :05:20.
compulsion to return to traffickers is huge, and that can be from threat | :05:21. | :05:26.
of violence they have encountered or potential violence against their | :05:27. | :05:31.
family. They want to return and we know they disappear very quickly. | :05:32. | :05:37.
The point of having a safe house is so they have a place to feel safe, | :05:38. | :05:42.
there is the psychological help and a safe environment. The poll is | :05:43. | :05:47.
diminished and hopefully we can begin that process of giving them | :05:48. | :05:49.
their childhood back and help them come to terms with what has happened | :05:50. | :05:54.
to them. There must be enormous challenges, in the first instance | :05:55. | :06:00.
just to establish trust? A report came out last year that said what | :06:01. | :06:05.
are the psychological impacts on a child or an adult who has been | :06:06. | :06:12.
trafficked? They say it is akin to torture. You have to tell them there | :06:13. | :06:17.
will be a long process with potential health care issues and | :06:18. | :06:21.
they need to know they are in a safe, loving environment so they can | :06:22. | :06:26.
begin that process. There is more awareness of it than ever before, I | :06:27. | :06:30.
certainly know I hear about it a lot more? It is in the media and the | :06:31. | :06:37.
government is bringing out the modern slavery Bill that hopefully | :06:38. | :06:39.
will be on the statute books by the end of 2015. Unseen collaborate with | :06:40. | :06:53.
a lot of other organisations. And we should say that if you have | :06:54. | :06:57.
any suspicions that a child may have been trafficked or is being kept | :06:58. | :07:00.
against their will you should contact the police in the first | :07:01. | :07:03.
instance. And if you want to know more about the work of Unseen, their | :07:04. | :07:14.
website is unseenuk.org. More homes have been flooded in | :07:15. | :07:17.
Somerset as water levels on the moorlands continue to rise. Flooding | :07:18. | :07:20.
may largely have disappeared from the headlines but for thousands of | :07:21. | :07:23.
people on the Somerset Levels, the misery goes on. In one village, | :07:24. | :07:26.
Moorland near Bridgwater, the drainage system has been overwhelmed | :07:27. | :07:28.
by the floodwater and temporary toilets have had to be brought in. | :07:29. | :07:32.
Our Somerset Correspondent, Clinton Rogers reports. | :07:33. | :07:36.
These new aerial picture really show the scale of a problem ` a problem | :07:37. | :07:48.
that is getting worse. We were only here a couple of days ago and there | :07:49. | :07:52.
was no water like this on the road then. So this is the reality of | :07:53. | :07:59.
everyday life in Moorland 2014. Drains are blocked, toilets aren't | :08:00. | :08:02.
working so people are having to manually dispose of their waste or | :08:03. | :08:06.
walk to the village hall to use the temporary toilets that have been | :08:07. | :08:17.
brought in. The water we have got here is almost rain a week ago. More | :08:18. | :08:22.
houses have been flooded as water from high ground reaches the | :08:23. | :08:25.
Somerset Levels. Life for some here is becoming intolerable. I am not a | :08:26. | :08:33.
stressful person... And I can deal with most things... This is the | :08:34. | :08:44.
sorry state we are in at the moment. Some have already moved out, and | :08:45. | :08:47.
with more rain forecast others may soon follow. When did your daughter | :08:48. | :08:54.
move out? She moved out yesterday morning because things have got so | :08:55. | :08:58.
bad. She cannot use the kitchen the drains are full up. Finding dry land | :08:59. | :09:04.
here is becoming increasingly difficult. Bryonny Sadler was moving | :09:05. | :09:07.
her chicken from their flooded barns this morning. This, she says, is | :09:08. | :09:12.
worse than last year. But for farmers like James Winslade moving | :09:13. | :09:15.
livestock isn't an option, even though 90% of his farm is under | :09:16. | :09:29.
water. I was awake half the night worrying about it. We will have to | :09:30. | :09:33.
wait and see. People have been kind, and offered space for 50 or 60 | :09:34. | :09:40.
cattle but we have 500 cattle. If they are spread all over the county, | :09:41. | :09:45.
how do I get food to them? If it comes to it, we will have to sell | :09:46. | :09:49.
them and that will be it. Moorland isn't quite an island... Yet. But | :09:50. | :09:53.
some roads are impassable. And those who believe the flood waters are | :09:54. | :09:57.
receding are counting the cost of their mistake. | :09:58. | :10:05.
If you've been driving around Bristol over the last few days, you | :10:06. | :10:09.
may have noticed a few new signs going up around the place. That s | :10:10. | :10:12.
because 20mph zones are being introduced in parts of the city | :10:13. | :10:15.
They're designed to make the city's streets safer, but will they work | :10:16. | :10:19.
and who will enforce them? Laura Jones is in one of the new zones for | :10:20. | :10:25.
us tonight. Laura. Well I've just come outside the | :10:26. | :10:28.
studio to one of the most significant roads to have this new | :10:29. | :10:36.
limit, Whiteladies Road. As you can see it's pretty wet and dark out | :10:37. | :10:40.
here but the new signs are in force all the way up and down the road. | :10:41. | :10:48.
The key question of course, is does everyone know about them and are | :10:49. | :11:08.
they obeying them? 26. Out on patrol, Charlie and Alan are on a | :11:09. | :11:12.
mission to see how fast cars are going outside their school. It's | :11:13. | :11:18.
because their school is in one of Bristol's new 20mph zones. But this | :11:19. | :11:21.
morning almost every vehicle that went past was going too fast. They | :11:22. | :11:28.
know they should not be doing that. They know they could actually hit a | :11:29. | :11:33.
child and really hurt them. So why do they do it? It makes me a bit | :11:34. | :11:39.
annoyed because there are 20 mph speed signs around here. The zones | :11:40. | :11:44.
have been introduced to try and make Bristol's roads safer for everyone. | :11:45. | :11:52.
Statistics are amazing. The safety organisation says you are seven | :11:53. | :11:56.
times more likely to be killed by a car going at 30 miles an hour and 20 | :11:57. | :12:00.
miles an hour. I take all statistics with a large pinch of salt, but the | :12:01. | :12:07.
fact is it is a lot safer. So far, they cover much of the central part | :12:08. | :12:12.
of the city, by 2015 it'll cover most of the rest too. At the moment, | :12:13. | :12:15.
the new zones aren't being monitored by speed cameras, rather volunteers | :12:16. | :12:18.
are being asked to help spot where people are going too fast. Our | :12:19. | :12:24.
approach will be, the vast majority of the community will be driving at | :12:25. | :12:29.
20 miles an hour, including the Council staff and the police. That | :12:30. | :12:32.
will force people to come below the 2010 at `` 20 mile an hour speed | :12:33. | :12:38.
limit. If there is a real big problem, there is no reason why we | :12:39. | :12:43.
would not put a camera planning We are looking at it as a staged | :12:44. | :12:47.
approach and gathering relevant evidence, not just putting the van | :12:48. | :12:50.
anywhere. It's a clear message, according to the mayor, and children | :12:51. | :12:56.
here, 20 is Plenty. You've been in touch with your | :12:57. | :13:01.
views. Some have been in favour saying it's a good idea in | :13:02. | :13:07.
principal. But most have questioned how it would work in practice. Many | :13:08. | :13:11.
saying it's a waste of time and others criticising the cost of the | :13:12. | :13:17.
new signs. The mayor told me earlier, the scheme was going to | :13:18. | :13:22.
cost just over ?2 million but the money was coming from central | :13:23. | :13:25.
government, rather than Bristol s pockets. The key question, are | :13:26. | :13:31.
people taking any notice of these signs? To be honest, ago you would | :13:32. | :13:40.
have been lucky to get 20 miles an hour. But I would say a fair few | :13:41. | :13:45.
people are still doing a bit more than 20 miles an hour. We will have | :13:46. | :13:49.
to wait and see what happens once everybody realises the new zones are | :13:50. | :13:56.
in force. Keep your comments coming. I am sure you have a view. Coming up | :13:57. | :14:02.
later in the programme: How your donations to Sport Relief are | :14:03. | :14:05.
helping young people in the West to get over the line. | :14:06. | :14:11.
The failure to monitor a boy's blood after heart surgery may have | :14:12. | :14:14.
contributed to his death, an inquest has heard. Four`year`old Sean | :14:15. | :14:18.
Turner, who was from Wiltshire, died in March 2012. An independent expert | :14:19. | :14:24.
says staff at the Bristol Children's Hospital did not fully understand | :14:25. | :14:26.
how potentially fatal blood clots should be dealt with. Our health | :14:27. | :14:35.
correspondent, Matthew Hill, has been at Flax Bourton Coroner's Court | :14:36. | :14:38.
for us, so Matthew what was said this morning? The operation he had | :14:39. | :14:44.
put him at risk from developing a blood clot. That is why it was | :14:45. | :14:48.
important to monitor his blood and give him heparin, an anticoagulant. | :14:49. | :14:57.
Today we heard from an expert witness who was a haematologist at | :14:58. | :15:01.
Great Ormond Street Hospital. And they say on the balance of | :15:02. | :15:03.
probabilities that had the blood been managed better, the clots | :15:04. | :15:10.
probably would not have happened. She said were days the blood was not | :15:11. | :15:14.
monitored and kept within the range it should have been capped. Why are | :15:15. | :15:19.
clot so crucial? Be a very dangerous. They have to be removed. | :15:20. | :15:26.
In this case they were removed by a clotbusting drug and that in itself | :15:27. | :15:31.
looked like it caused the fatal bleed to the brain of Sean Turner. | :15:32. | :15:34.
What is the response from the doctors? We heard from one of the | :15:35. | :15:40.
haematologist partly in charge of his care who said, getting the | :15:41. | :15:45.
levels right, the clotting factors right is difficult. Even if you do | :15:46. | :15:48.
get them right, clots can still happen. Thank you very much. | :15:49. | :15:52.
A man has died in hospital after being stabbed last week. Police were | :15:53. | :16:00.
called to a house in Gloucester just over a week ago where they found two | :16:01. | :16:03.
men with stab wounds. They were both taken to Gloucestershire Royal | :16:04. | :16:06.
Hospital, but one was moved to Frenchay in Bristol where he later | :16:07. | :16:10.
died. A 51`year`old man has been charged with wounding with intent | :16:11. | :16:13.
and has been remanded in custody. An inquest will not be held into the | :16:14. | :16:16.
death of a four`year`old boy who was in foster care in Somerset. A | :16:17. | :16:19.
postmortem report released this morning found Jonas Stadden died of | :16:20. | :16:23.
pneumonia last November. Jonas' parents say he should have received | :16:24. | :16:26.
medical treatment sooner, but the coroner for West Somerset found his | :16:27. | :16:29.
death was from natural causes and says earlier medical help would not | :16:30. | :16:35.
have made any difference. An unexploded World War II bomb has | :16:36. | :16:39.
been destroyed after being found on a popular Somerset footpath | :16:40. | :16:41.
regularly used by walkers and hikers. The 100lb bomb was spotted | :16:42. | :16:48.
by a walker near Larksborough Ruin just outside Porlock on Sunday | :16:49. | :16:54.
afternoon. All the recent rainfall had caused it to be uncovered. | :16:55. | :17:00.
Police kept the area secure until a Royal Navy team carried out a | :17:01. | :17:08.
controlled explosion. You don't expect to see that on your Sunday | :17:09. | :17:13.
afternoon walk! In the past few hours a | :17:14. | :17:16.
Gloucestershire polo player and three crewmates have reached dry | :17:17. | :17:19.
land after spending 48 days rowing across the Atlantic Ocean. Bobby | :17:20. | :17:22.
Dundan's 21`foot boat has travelled 3,000 miles unsupported, raising | :17:23. | :17:24.
thousands for charity in the process. Andrew Plant reports. | :17:25. | :17:36.
Day one of what would become almost seven weeks at sea. 17 crews setting | :17:37. | :17:41.
off from the Canary Islands in December. It has been called the | :17:42. | :17:58.
hardest endurance race on earth Captain of The Atlantic Polo Team, | :17:59. | :18:02.
Wiltshire polo player, Bobby Dundas, with four fellow players, Henry | :18:03. | :18:04.
Breet, James Glasson and Fergus Scholes, raising thousands for | :18:05. | :18:14.
charity as they rowed. Teams must survive on what they can carry and | :18:15. | :18:21.
what they can catch because there is no assistance in the middle of the | :18:22. | :18:25.
Atlantic Ocean. Sunburn and blisters were an hourly hazard. The crew also | :18:26. | :18:30.
had to contend with huge Atlantic waves. The Atlantic Polo Team were | :18:31. | :18:36.
second to make land in Antigua at 2.00pm today after 48 solid days at | :18:37. | :18:40.
sea. It has been a week of West Country extreme achievements. On | :18:41. | :18:43.
Saturday, 16`year`old Lewis Clarke from Bristol became the youngest | :18:44. | :18:49.
person to trek to the South Pole. A feat which coincidentally also took | :18:50. | :19:02.
him 48 days. What an achievement. Preparations are continuing to roll | :19:03. | :19:05.
out the government's controversial badger cull. Experts are currently | :19:06. | :19:13.
assessing the results of last autumn's shooting in parts of | :19:14. | :19:15.
Gloucestershire and Somerset, which failed to meet the required target. | :19:16. | :19:18.
But farmers elsewhere are being asked to start drawing up plans | :19:19. | :19:22.
should ministers decide to extend the cull to ten new zones. | :19:23. | :19:24.
The annual Sport Relief campaign begins today. It was launched by | :19:25. | :19:36.
Prince Charles and Matt Baker and Alex Jones. Among the projects the | :19:37. | :19:40.
charity helps fund is Bright Sparks run by Bristol Rugby Community | :19:41. | :19:43.
Foundation. It aims to use sport to engage with children in danger of | :19:44. | :19:46.
being expelled from school or who find social situations difficult. | :19:47. | :19:49.
Zoe Gough has been to Bedminster Down School to see some of them in | :19:50. | :19:52.
action. This is fun. This, not so much. But | :19:53. | :20:01.
they're all having a go. Not so long ago performing well in lessons was a | :20:02. | :20:09.
struggle for this group. Now the promise of an afternoon on the | :20:10. | :20:15.
sports field keeps them focussed. I want to achieve my targets. I was | :20:16. | :20:22.
playing up, but since coming here I have got my head down in class and | :20:23. | :20:26.
got on with the work. I speak up more in class. I don't ask questions | :20:27. | :20:35.
are answered questions, but I do now. I did not like doing the | :20:36. | :20:40.
written work, but if I don't do it I won't be able to go outside and have | :20:41. | :20:44.
fun. This may be their reward but they're still learning. To improve | :20:45. | :20:49.
behaviour or social skills they re taught that challenges and team work | :20:50. | :20:52.
can be good. The coaches say their best result was a teenager who left | :20:53. | :21:01.
behind a life of crime. He explained to one of the coaches that in his | :21:02. | :21:05.
spare time he likes to steal cars with his older brother. He had not | :21:06. | :21:10.
told anyone he used to do that, he would abscond from school. We then | :21:11. | :21:15.
signposted him onto a local sports club and is volunteering with a | :21:16. | :21:18.
youth club. It is a great example. ?80,000 from Sport Relief means they | :21:19. | :21:21.
can help more youngsters rediscover fun in their school days. | :21:22. | :21:35.
Sport Relief is always such a highlight. | :21:36. | :21:39.
So, many of our sporting stars in the West will be taking part in | :21:40. | :21:43.
Sport Relief. We caught up with a couple of the guys from Bath Rugby | :21:44. | :21:46.
who were in Devizes today helping to launch a new beer. Matt Banahan | :21:47. | :21:49.
recorded this special message for you. Sport Relief hands out small | :21:50. | :21:57.
grants between ?1000 and ?5,000 in sport grants. Please apply on the | :21:58. | :22:05.
website. Fundraising has started to buy and | :22:06. | :22:08.
restore one of Britain's most important battlefields at Tewkesbury | :22:09. | :22:13.
in Gloucestershire. The site went up for sale over Christmas, prompting | :22:14. | :22:18.
fears it could be bought by a developer. But now the community's | :22:19. | :22:21.
been told it can try to raise the cash to buy it first. Alice Bouverie | :22:22. | :22:26.
takes up the story. It's unkempt and uncared for, but in | :22:27. | :22:30.
this field the course of English history was changed. The battle of | :22:31. | :22:40.
Tewkesbury in 1471 was the climax of the War of the Roses. Through fields | :22:41. | :22:45.
with names like The Gastons and the Bloody Meadow, the Yorkists pursued | :22:46. | :22:48.
the Lancastrians ` and won. In the course of the fighting, the Prince | :22:49. | :22:57.
of Wales died. It was here in Tewkesbur Abbey that the heir | :22:58. | :23:05.
apparent to the English throne in battle, was buried. The Duke of | :23:06. | :23:09.
Gloucester was later crowned Richard III. Interest in Medieval history | :23:10. | :23:14.
has rarely been higher. The bones of Richard III were discovered under a | :23:15. | :23:18.
car park in Leicester in 2012. Now there's a chance to restore the | :23:19. | :23:22.
Gloucestershire site of one of his most important military victories. | :23:23. | :23:28.
The Yorkists pushed through the hedges and the Lancastrians | :23:29. | :23:31.
retreated. There have been attempts to build houses on this site before | :23:32. | :23:35.
and it had been feared that could happen again. But now, after taking | :23:36. | :23:40.
advice from the council, the local Battlefield Society's been told it | :23:41. | :23:42.
has first refusal on the land. It now needs to raise over ?100,00 . It | :23:43. | :23:52.
was Winston Churchill who said battles of the punctuation marks in | :23:53. | :23:55.
history. Things change in battles, so battlefields of the paper they | :23:56. | :24:00.
are written on. They are part of what makes us. The vision is to turn | :24:01. | :24:06.
the battle trail through Tewkesbury into a big tourist attraction. We | :24:07. | :24:09.
want to protect it forever and think it is an underutilised resource in | :24:10. | :24:16.
the town. You can see what it is like, it can be so much more. The | :24:17. | :24:19.
500`year`old hedgerows haven't forgotten. They're so old they | :24:20. | :24:24.
witnessed the battle itself. With a little TLC, it's hoped they'll come | :24:25. | :24:34.
alive again. We touched on it earlier, but let's see how the | :24:35. | :24:36.
weather is looking. We are focusing our attention on | :24:37. | :24:47.
later through Friday. Warnings out for Devon and Cornwall. I suspect we | :24:48. | :24:50.
might see that spreading eastwards to Somerset. The next focus of | :24:51. | :24:58.
attention will be Sunday, which looks wet. So far as tomorrow is | :24:59. | :25:04.
concerned, these scenes will be fairly similar to the site you are | :25:05. | :25:11.
likely to see tomorrow. If you want to send your photographs in, we will | :25:12. | :25:16.
put a gallery up on our Facebook page of photographs. Send them to | :25:17. | :25:23.
our website. Tomorrow, there will be a few showers. Should be largely dry | :25:24. | :25:33.
for the majority. We need to clear this front out towards the east It | :25:34. | :25:36.
is slow`moving and will take its time during the night. You can see | :25:37. | :25:42.
the signal for a few showers tomorrow but the bulk of us under | :25:43. | :25:49.
dry weather, albeit cloud cover For the time being, some of the rain is | :25:50. | :25:55.
turning moderately heavy, particularly in more southern areas. | :25:56. | :25:59.
As the night wears on, slowly into the early hours it is clearing out | :26:00. | :26:03.
of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. One or two showers in the morning | :26:04. | :26:09.
for the rush hour. But it should be a largely dry picture. A bit of fog | :26:10. | :26:13.
around, the Forest of Dean for example. A lot of cloud as well As | :26:14. | :26:18.
the day wears on by will be brighter spells, but it is difficult to pin | :26:19. | :26:24.
down well. Still a good deal of cloud around on one or two showers | :26:25. | :26:28.
going from west to east at times. But they should be well scattered so | :26:29. | :26:32.
not everywhere will see them. Temperatures are eventually | :26:33. | :26:37.
recovering up to about eight or nine Celsius typically. I did mention | :26:38. | :26:40.
about development is looking for later this week, I will skip through | :26:41. | :26:44.
Friday, which looks like a wet day generally speaking. But Sunday | :26:45. | :26:50.
Herald is a bit more in the way of significance. The pressure field | :26:51. | :26:57.
pattern is changing with each forecast we see off the computers. | :26:58. | :27:01.
But the grand theme of this wet element is there consistently and we | :27:02. | :27:04.
could see significant amounts of rain. Not just through us, but | :27:05. | :27:08.
across the British Isles. A wet a few days ahead, but an early heads | :27:09. | :27:15.
up that that is going to be the fourth `` focused the rest of the | :27:16. | :27:20.
week. These `` this is how things are shaping up to the rest of the | :27:21. | :27:25.
week. Not great, is it? But there is no snow. Could be worse. | :27:26. | :27:32.
You are very vocal on e`mails. It is regarding the 20 mile an hour speed | :27:33. | :27:40.
zones in Bristol. Keep those discussions going on our Facebook | :27:41. | :27:45.
page. Keep sending them in, it is good to read them. | :27:46. | :27:47.
