Pembrokeshire broke down in tears as she told an inquest how her

premature son died at just 5-weeks-old, after being taken off a

ventilator. Bronwyn Rhodes noticed something was wrong with baby Rohan

soon after he son was transferred from a hospital in Swansea to see

specialists in Bristol in 2012. Paul Heaney reports. Row and roads was

born 14 weeks early in Swansea. -- Rohan Rhodes. He was transferred to

see experts at St Michael's Hospital in Bristol in September 2012, he had

heart and lung problems, within hours his parents say he became

unwell eventually suffering a cardiac arrest. No-one escalated his

gear when they should have. He was left for many hours with no one

taking a blood sample to see how he was doing. His mother told the

inquest today that the staff were aggressive in inserting feeding

tubes into the child causing him pain. The father thought he had been

given sedation because his body was lifeless. A pathologist told the

inquest today that the child had multiple perforations of his bowel

and the likely reason was an infection. He suffered a great deal

of pain before he died and that is what we want to make sure that does

not happen again. The hospital trust says it offers its severe

condolences to the family for the loss of their son. The enquiry

continues tomorrow. In the last ten years, councils here have given the

go-ahead to hundreds of developments, despite being warned

that they posed a flood risk. Natural Resources Wales, formerly

the Environment Agency, gives advice to local authorities about planning

applications including the risk of flooding. Wales Today has learnt

that between 2004 and last year, councils here ignored that advice

341 times. I think it is barmy for councillors in any part of Wales to

refuse to accept the facts when they are presented to them from the

flooding experts. We have a housing crisis in Wales as we have

throughout the rest of the UK solar and therefore is essential to

develop for building. The lack of land means some local authorities

gets desperate and develop land that is prone to flooding. A man has been

jailed for life for murdering a carer from Bridgend. 26-year-old

Jamie Curtis from Ynysawdre was arrested after Kevin Hier from Tondu

collapsed in October last year. Police said, the killing had left

the community stunned. Curtis pleaded guilty to murder at Cardiff

Crown Court. A 13-year-old from Barry was electrocuted as she helped

her father bring Christmas decorations down from the attic, an

inquest has heard. Georgia Marshall died at home last November. An

exposed cable wrapped around a metal step ladder gave her a fatal

electric shock. A verdict of accidental death was recorded.

Castles, beaches and dolphins will feature in a new ?4 million

advertising campaign aimed at boosting tourism in Wales. It

features music from singer Cerys Matthews and will be launched on St

David's Day as part of Wales Tourism Week. The TV advert is directed by

Marc Evans, whose work includes the Welsh detective series, Hinterland.

People do know about us, they might know about Dylan Thomas, when you

take the Welsh film to a festival the conversation starts to open up

and people understand a bit more about who we are. A woman from

Newport has been awarded more than ?2,000 in compensation from Gwent

Police for being wrongfully arrested when she wanted help for domestic

abuse. Kristy Robinson called police when she was being attacked by her

ex-boyfriend, who punched her and threw a glass of wine over her. But

she was arrested along with her partner because she smelled of

alcohol. Gwent Police say the officer who arrested her acted in

good faith. A former Swansea rugby player has been handed a record

eight-year ban for possessing and trafficking steroids. Dean

Colclough, who was a hooker with Swansea RFC was found to be in

possession and trafficking of anabolic steroids. Colclough played

for the club 106 times between 1997 and 2008. He's been in charge for

2.5 years, but today Wrexham's player-manager Andy Morrell resigned

from the club. He led the club to two play-off finishes but they've

struggled this season. Following their loss to Barnet on the weekend,

they've dropped to 13th in the conference. Matthew Richards looks

back at his career. First as a player then as player manager, Andy

Morell has definitely made his mark in over 200 appearances Wrexham.

Last year he won the FA Trophy at Wembley. This year they were denied

a return to the football league. He has thrown in the towel after 2.5

years. It was a hard announcement for the players to hear ahead of

training this morning and tough to for his assistant who inherits the

role for the time being. For everyone to see him how he was and

for me to see the players how they were, it was hard for me to take.

With a game at Luton tomorrow it will be a baptism of fire. There

have been some devastating lows over the last 2.5 years. Andy Morrell

said he felt he had taken the team as far as he could but nobody has

doubted his dedication to Wrexham. As a man we have the utmost respect

for him. As a manager he gets the utmost respect, he has a very good

CV. He is the orderly Wrexham manager to win more than half of his

matches. Even if some of the most crucial were just beyond his reach.

Open Snooker in Newport earlier this evening. Andrew Pagett, Dominic Dale

bringing a mixture of some pressure will push in tomorrow

and squally showers. Not too many showers around first thing tomorrow

morning. Some of the heavier showers moving in to the West later on with

dusty winds especially along the costs. Some of the showers will be

heavy with rain or funder. The best dry weather will be along the coast.

The top temperature tomorrow will be 12 Celsius in London. In Wales

tomorrow afternoon there will be a few sharp showers but some dry

weather as well. A high of 10 Celsius in modern life. Plenty of

dry weather tomorrow evening, just a few scattered showers. Inland

temperatures could fall low enough overnight for a ground frost.

Wednesday will have a mixture of sunshine and showers. Most places

dry by the end of the afternoon. Turning wet and windy by midnight

and into Thursday. That rain will be followed again by sunshine and

showers. A little snow on the mountains and it is a similar story

on Friday. A mixed bag of weather this week but I can promise some
