Hello again. After a day like today, it's hard to believe we are

approaching the summer solstice. Over the weekend we should see some

steady improvement. A lot of rain on Saturday. Some day looks like

being the better day of the two. Trial with more sunshine, as well.

Let's look at today's rain. We have had this rain in the West for a

while. -- Try a with more sunshine. Rain in East Anglia giving an inch

of rain. -- drier in East Anglia. Rain pivoting into northern England

and Scotland and then, behind it, some showers. A at least with the

cloud and rain, temperatures no lower than toe Celsius. Let's head

into the weekend. -- 10 Celsius. At 9am, rain in the north of the

country. To the set, it should be brighter. Sunshine, too. Sunshine

in Wales between the showers. Some of those showers will be heavy and

South Wales. Hail and thunder feeding their way through the

Bristol Channel. Strong winds in southern England. That will force

their shells across quickly. A bit of sunshine and then another shower.

Rain in Norfolk are left over from overnight. Brighter skies and

showers coming into the Midlands. Eventually northern England, but

starting wet across most of northern England, central and

southern Scotland, but the far north of Scotland should be too bad

on Saturday. The rain band is going to get stuck across central

southern Scotland, northern England. To the south, a mixture of sunshine

and heavy showers, hail and thunder. Gusty winds across southern England

and Wales. Temperatures, similar to today. Disappointing for the time

of year. The weather was disappointing at the Rose Bowl.

Tomorrow, interruptions because of the showers but Sunday better still.
