Good evening. After a mild couple of days things have turned wintery

across the country now. But first we deal with tonight. Still plenty

of showers around. A dusting of snow many over higher ground.

Temperatures for many getting close to freezing if not below. So for

the rush hour tomorrow, they is that risk of ice just about

anywhere. Most of us start off reasonably dry, just some wintry

showers already on the go in parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Those showers meant starting to push further south and east during

the day. At the same time Scotland and Northern Ireland experiencing

quite a pleasant afternoon. Damages could get up to seven degrees in

Northern Ireland but there is that strong wind. For Norden England,

the Midlands and Wales, some showers producing snow over a

higher ground. More showers across the south-west. Not too many across

the South East but feeling cold in the wind. Clearing up through

Friday night to the north and west. Actually start to Saturday-morning

with fast and ice around. -- a chilly start. Nordic our land turns

cloudy later. But we have cold air in place across the UK, milder air

and trying to push in from the West forming a battleground between the
