Good evening. Perhaps the scientific community can focus on

the next big search, the question we are all asking - where it is

summer? Actually, summer is out in the Atlantic, this big area of high

pressure is what we need to be sitting over us to bring us a spell

of hot and sunny pressure. Spiralling around, there have been

thunderstorms, losing some of their intensity, but we will keep some

showers through the night. Some pretty warm air, so another pretty

humid night. A cold start to Thursday, but the humid air will

start to stir, then we will see the heavy downpours developing,

particularly during tomorrow, across central and eastern counties,

spreading into northern England. We could also see some sharp showers

across western Scotland. There will still be some sunshine here. Quite

cloudy on the east coast. We could see some intense thunderstorms

breaking out, maybe some hail. A few showers the Northern Ireland

and Wales. Quite a wet day across parts of Cornwall. A sprinkling of

showers across the Midlands, East Anglia and the south-east. But in

the sunshine, feeling quite warm. Look down to the far south-east,

across the near Continent, the threat of some heavy tread the rain

drifting away during Friday. That is a real cause for concern. The

real likelihood of some flooding. A lot of uncertainty about how much

rain and exactly where that rain will be, but it looks as though the

central slice of the country is the most at risk. A few showers, but in

the sunshine, temperatures could get to 20 degrees or more. That
