London 94.9. For now, have a very Good evening. I managed to grab

about half an hour sitting in warm sunshine in the garden this morning.

It reminded me what we have been missing out on this summer so far.

There will be opportunities to grab some sunshine over the next few

days but make the best of it. Dry and bright is the story for

tomorrow. We have had some heavy rain today across north-east

England. That is clearing. Heavy showers in the south-east. Taking

longer to move away. Later tonight we are getting persistent rain in

the north-east of Scotland. Otherwise it is dry, Chile in rural

spots. -- chilly in rural spots. We have some sunshine to start the day.

Across northern England it should stay mostly dry here. Good sunny

spells across Northern Ireland early on. A bit fresh but the winds

are like. No rain for the Western art where it is desperately-needed

-- the Western Isles. A drab start across northern Scotland at 8

o'clock in the morning. The Midlands, East Anglia, the East

Midlands and the south-east will have blue skies to start. Have

sunshine through Hampshire but we start to lose it across the south-

west. A damp start for much of Cornwall and this batch of rain is

beginning to edge in. It will be a slow process. Moving northwards and

eastwards through the course of the day. Turning heavier by the course

of the afternoon, Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. Patchy rain heading

into the north-east of England as well. Otherwise, it stays dry and

temperatures and the high teens, may be low twenties, it will feel

more like summer. That rain is coming out of this weather system.

Another area of low pressure. It slides across the southern half of

the UK. Some doubt about how far north the weather front is going to

get. Northern England on the edge of things. It is likely we will see

heavy rain across Wales, the East Midlands and East Anglia. On the
