not much rain reaching the eastern side but it is a cool day,

patchy, light rain. Not amounting to very much. Central and eastern

England, dry with hazy sunshine and the wind easing on the east coast

and it's better for those Paralympic events. Friday night,

milder and into the weekend that high pressure to the south is a

good sign. Brisk wind and outbreaks of rain for the North. On Saturday,

England and Wales, sunny spells developing, feeling warm with a

slow start in the south-east with early drizzle. The rain coming back

to Northern Ireland with heavy rain in north west Scotland and windy.

That moves south into Sunday and southern areas on Scott -- on

Sunday are dying out. In the north of the UK, the showers dying out.
