Hello again. We are not far off the autumn they Equinox, but it felt

like we were beyond it the on southern Scotland. The coldest

September day for a decade through the central belt. That's because it

never stopped raining. It has now and the rain is pushing away to the

south, so wet across northern England there the next few hours.

The rain will sink southwards and eventually will get down into the

North Midlands and across North Wales. Behind that, the skies of

clearing and temperatures dip away, close to freezing across northern

Scotland with a touch of frost a cussed other parts of Scotland but

milder further south. The dividing line between the two regimes is

this cold front. That is where the rain is at the moment and it will

be into Friday. As it pushes south, so the cold air will ease further

south as well through the day. There will be a chill it further

north. But to start the day, the rain across the Midlands could be

heavy but will work southwards as we go to the afternoon. Calder, but

clearer weather following behind and there will be a decent amount

of sunshine, certainly a different date for southern Scotland and

through the central belt. Temperatures not higher than today

that he could feel they can because of the sunshine. Northern England

brightening up, and a scattering of showers, maybe some through the

north-west. The rain could pep up as it moves into parts of East

Anglia, but South, temperatures in a highly to mid-teens. Sunshine

will feel pleasant enough and they could be some brightness around

parts of Devon and Cornwall hanging on to the brighter skies. Not a lot

of rain across the south-west or across South Wales, but they could

be the odd heavy burst across the south-east of Wales, and then we

are back into the Col dare cross the north-east of Wales and the

breeze will feel chilly. Temperatures drop away quickly

overnight so the early part of Saturday will feel chilly but a

lovely day coming on Saturday, dry, lots of sunshine and you can

guarantee a fine day with temperatures close to the seasonal
