If you are staying up to catch a repeat of last night's Northern

Lights you have clear skies in Lincolnshire. Thicker cloud to the

south and west with a few spots of rain through the night. The rain

keeping temperatures up in double figures. Towns and cities dropping

down to about five degrees. In the countryside the risk of frost.

Northern England in to Scotland where we could see minus

temperatures in the morning. The risk of mist and fog first thing.

By morning it should have lifted and we hold on to the best of the

sunshine across eastern areas in the afternoons. More cloud in the

south-west corner, but there should be some occasional bright spells,

especially up towards parts of Devon and Somerset. With sunshine

to the South East, temperatures at 14 degrees and white winds.

Sunshine through Yorkshire and towards Newcastle. Around the

aniseed, a little bit more cloud, so a grey afternoon for Northern

Ireland with occasional outbreaks of light rain. The Western Isles

keeping some cloud but through the Marais Firth, Aberdeenshire and the

Central lowlands, it should be a dry, fine and sunny afternoon. By

Thursday, we have got some rain on the way. Some of it is likely to be

heavy at times. It starts to arrive through the night on Wednesday and

into Thursday morning, out towards the West. It helps to keep

temperatures up here, but Clear skies to the east so the repeat of

fog to begin Thursday morning. Early brightness in the east, but

cloud across the country and we could see some heavy rain at times.

Need to keep some -- me to keep an eye on those rainfall totals. It

will slowly move east by the afternoon. Temperatures don't look

too bad, but in the rain it will feel quite cool. By Friday, those

were the system is moving north and east. It does look like it will get
