Good evening. This time yesterday, a widespread frost was developing.

Tonight, no such problems. For many, too much cloud and too much breeze,

both of those bringing rain tonight across some western areas. More

persistent in the northern and western Isles. With clear skies,

temperatures have the potential to drop, particularly in southern

areas. It could get down to around three degrees in rural areas. Only

a small chance of Frost, but for many a frost-free start to

Wednesday. Extensive cloud initially and quite a breeze, but

bright spells through the day. That is dependent on your exposure to

the wind. Coming from the West, for the beginning of the day, north-

west England has lots of cloud and patchy rain, but to the east of the

Pennines you could see brighter spells. We won't have sunshine this

morning across the Midlands. It won't be as cold, but there will be

some bright spells. In the south- west, you are exposed to a westerly

wind. Extensive cloud and there will be a few spots of light

drizzle. That will come and go through the day, particularly

around the hills and coasts. Damp across Northern Ireland with great

dash grey skies. Wet conditions towards the north-west in the

morning. In western Scotland, rain will come and go during the day. In

the east, something a little bit drier and brighter, but here and in

the north-east of England, for winds will become strong in the

afternoon and evening. The best of the brightness will be to southern

and eastern areas. More cloud in the West and for western Scotland,

Northern Ireland and north-west England, we will continue to see

outbreaks of rain. Temperatures tomorrow will not be far off what

we saw today, tempered by the breeze. The breeze at his -- at its
