There will be persistent rain in eastern Scotland, the floodwaters

will rise. There are numerous flood warnings in place. The number will

come up for you later. This is how persistent rain has been, 50 mm in

some places. The rain has to move downstream, river levels will

continue to rise. The rain further north will impact, and it may well

rise. We have driving wind across the ground peons. When it clears we

are left with Mr and work. Some unpleasant conditions if you're

travelling tomorrow. There will be a blizzard conditions. Surface

water flooding. There will be hill fog, quite thick under the blanket

of cloud. At least it is drier, and we will see bright this filtering

through for many parts of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Near

the east coast it will stay quite damp for much of the day. It is

only a temporary dry spell, towards the South West we have rain to come

tomorrow evening. Already there are amber warnings from the met Office.

Some very intense rain potentially, another 20 mm potentially. That

sweeps northwards into parts of Yorkshire. It could get stuck

across the East of Scotland. We have a succession of low-pressure

weather coming in, and tightly- packed isobars. Potentially storm-
