Hello. Yesterday it was Scotland, today it is Wales have been the

warmest day of the year so far. 20 Celsius. Didn't get there in

England. Hull and London at 22 with many other places in England. But

across Scotland and Northern Ireland, cloud spoiled the bank

holiday party and the rain in North West Scotland will move away to the

North. Almost overnight it will be dry and clear with some mist and

fog. Tomorrow, if you are lucky to be off again, take advantage of the

sunshine and warmth. Every bit as warm in that sunshine as today.

Some areas even warmer. The sunny in Scotland, with some sunshine

poking through into Northern Ireland as well. Cloud building for

the afternoon. The odd shower with some heavy ones in Scotland. 20 in

Glasgow, after just 13 today. The best sunshine in Northern Ireland

in the East. Northern England, into the Pennines, the odd heavy shower

for the afternoon. Most places staying dry. Some cloud in South

East England and East Anglia. Cloudy in the South West, but

mainly dry until the evening when it turns wetter with strengthening

winds. This area of low pressure really changes the weather from

Wednesday onwards. It could not be any more different. In the winds it

will feel cooler and fresher by the end of the day. Worse to come on

Thursday. More rain spilling East, but even windier and the southern

half of Britain bearing the brunt of gales. That is one to watch. The
