and I must say the forecast is a little bit tricky, particularly for

Sunday. Tomorrow, it is more straightforward. It will be a windy

day. There will be spelt of sunshine around but also blustery showers,

which could turn heavy and thundery. That is what we saw earlier today

particularly across the heart of the UK. We are focusing on this

persistent rain which is swinging in from the West. It will continue to

move northwards and eastwards through the overnight period

accompanied by brisk winds. Wind and rain crossing England and Wales,

most of it into the North Sea by dawn. We are beginning to see

blustery showers in from the west. The rain curls its way back into

central Scotland and back into Northern Ireland as well. Overnight

lows, nine or 10 Celsius. In the morning, quite wet from Belfast --

Belfast northwards. In Scotland, a wet day. The rainfall is totting up.

Rain in the far north of Scotland. Into northern England, through the

morning there will be spelt of sunshine but equally good scattering

of showers which could be turning heavy fairly quickly through the

morning. A similar idea through Wales and the south-west. Some

showers around through the morning. Some spells of sunshine but the

showers could turn heavy from mid-morning onwards and a similar

idea in the south-west of England. Elsewhere through the southern

counties of England into the Midlands, East Anglia, it is a

largely dry picture. We cannot rule out the odd shower but many places

enjoying a bright and breezy start to the day. Good news for Trooping

the Colour. A bright, breezy start. Blustery wind. Maybe a shower into

afternoon. It will be quite a windy day across all of England and Wales.

Showers moving eastwards. Thunder and lightning in the East Midlands

and northern England. All the while still raining across the South and

West of Scotland. Cool underneath the range. We could get up to 18 or

19 Celsius in the south and east. A blustery day at the Queens club.

Winds could cause problems. There is the chance of rain or showers later
