plenty of sunshine. Hello. You have got to love the

British weather. For a time this afternoon, it felt like we had

skipped ahead a couple of months as temperatures reached 17 degrees

across parts of southern England. That is the average for the middle

of May. Across Scotland, stepping back into winter. Snow flurries in

Edinburgh. It is going to change back the other way as we going to

the weekend. This weather front is set to push north taking Miles right

across the UK. -- mild air. Some fog on the leading edge across southern

counties of England. That will lift as the wind freshens. The cold air

will give way across Scotland and bring snow. By 9am Saturday morning,

it is just rain. They wet start to the day. Some shelter around the

Murray Firth. Cloudy skies across most of England and Wales to start

with tomorrow. A little bit of light and patchy rain. Glimmers of

brightness in the South. Clearer air. The cloud should melt away from

England and Wales as the day goes on. Always cloudy across Scotland

and Northern Ireland too. Patchy rain, tending to die away in the

afternoon. Milder certainly. Cool in the breeze under the grey skies

Again we could hit the mid-teens in many places. A very pleasant early

spring day. Second half of the weekend, we have to look towards

this front from the West. Pretty weak. It will run out of steam. It

will get stuck across Scotland, Northern Ireland and perhaps

northern England and Wales. Cloud with some outbreaks of rain. Ahead

of it in the sunshine, once again, mid teens. Probably feeling even

warmer with lighter winds. The theme is very settled for next week.

Monday, Tuesday, decent temperatures for the time of year. A fair bit of

cloud. An area of high pressure A dry week for many. Frosty nights if

we get clear spells particularly early in the week. Very pleasant
