Anne Davies and me, Dominic Heale. Our top story tonight: The 74-year- | :00:05. | :00:15.
:00:15. | :00:17. | ||
old saved from drowning by a passing canoeist. Luckily the | :00:17. | :00:20.
canoeist was England trainer Richard Ramsdell. I would have been | :00:20. | :00:25.
debited was not for you. Also tonight: Workers at Imperial | :00:25. | :00:29.
Tobacco could go on strike after being asked to pay part of the | :00:29. | :00:35.
workplace parking tax. Plus, finger food for babies - | :00:35. | :00:38.
could ditching pureed food to prevent childhood obesity? | :00:38. | :00:42.
And he has not forgotten them - the fans who followed Robbie Williams | :00:42. | :00:48.
when he was 14. Just amazing. He has done so much with his life. | :00:48. | :00:58.
:00:58. | :01:01. | ||
That he would still want to say Good evening. Welcome to Tuesday's | :01:01. | :01:06.
programme. First tonight, we've all had to shiver through the freezing | :01:06. | :01:08.
temperatures of the last few days, but yesterday the perishing cold | :01:08. | :01:14.
almost claimed the life of a boat owner in Nottingham. Ken Jackson, | :01:14. | :01:17.
who is 74, was repairing his narrowboat when he slipped on ice | :01:17. | :01:22.
and fell into the River Trent. He was going under and losing | :01:22. | :01:24.
consciousness when a passing canoeist heard the splashing of | :01:24. | :01:30.
water. Kylie Pentelow has been to meet Ken and the man who saved his | :01:30. | :01:39.
life. It was very good of you. I would have been dead of it was not | :01:39. | :01:42.
for you. This time yesterday it was a very | :01:42. | :01:47.
different meeting. It was just sheer panic, wasn't it? You seemed | :01:47. | :01:50.
fairly controlled. I was panicking and I thought I was going to go | :01:50. | :01:56.
under. Ken was fixing the chimney on his boat, or walking on a narrow | :01:57. | :02:02.
ledge. Nothing out of the ordinary, but yesterday it was covered in ice. | :02:02. | :02:08.
That is where I went in there. you were balancing? Yes, it is like | :02:08. | :02:13.
this all the way round. And you just dropped in at the other side? | :02:13. | :02:17.
It must have been icy. I just went straight in. I started screaming | :02:17. | :02:25.
help. Ken was starting to lose consciousness and luckily Richard | :02:25. | :02:32.
came paddling past. And what luck! He trains young people in canoeing. | :02:32. | :02:36.
Really random circumstances. I do not normally trained on this side | :02:36. | :02:39.
of the river. It was only because the other side was frozen and I | :02:39. | :02:43.
came over here to warm up for my session. I found Ken clinging on | :02:43. | :02:50.
for dear life at the back end of his board. I was getting numb and | :02:50. | :02:54.
was getting ready to go wonder. took a fair bit of effort. It is | :02:54. | :03:02.
quite a bit of a drop getting down to the water's edge. He fetched me | :03:02. | :03:07.
in here, took my clothes off. I had the fire going. He put some more | :03:07. | :03:12.
clothes on me and then the ambulance men came. I don't think I | :03:12. | :03:15.
did anything out of the ordinary, just what anyone else would have | :03:15. | :03:22.
done. He did, he saved my life. has owned a boat for more than 40 | :03:22. | :03:26.
years. He says he has fallen in a few times, but not in weather like | :03:26. | :03:36.
:03:36. | :03:38. | ||
this. It has not put you off? will carry on doing it. | :03:38. | :03:41.
Next tonight, a threat of strike action at a big employer in | :03:41. | :03:44.
Nottingham over a proposal to make staff pay part of the workplace | :03:44. | :03:47.
parking levy. The tax is being introduced in the city in a couple | :03:47. | :03:50.
of months to help fund public transport improvements, but unions | :03:50. | :03:53.
at Imperial Tobacco say the company should pick up the whole cost. Mike | :03:53. | :04:01.
O'Sullivan can tell us more. Good evening from Imperial Tobacco. | :04:01. | :04:05.
A proposal here from the company to make the employees pay part of the | :04:05. | :04:07.
workplace parking levy has been rejected by members of the Unions | :04:07. | :04:12.
Unite and the GMB. They have voted for an external ballot for | :04:12. | :04:17.
industrial action, a strike being considered. A union spokesman says | :04:17. | :04:19.
the workforce here is disappointed that they've been asked to pay | :04:20. | :04:29.
:04:30. | :04:32. | ||
anything. They find themselves in a position where the employer has an | :04:32. | :04:36.
added cost given to it by the City Council and it is trying to, at | :04:36. | :04:42.
least in part, pass this on to the employees. They think that, as it | :04:42. | :04:45.
is such a large multinational company and the cost is such a drop | :04:45. | :04:52.
in the ocean, it should discharge its responsibility and pay the levy. | :04:52. | :04:56.
What are the figures? For a start, the City Council's workplace | :04:56. | :05:02.
parking levy is 288 per space per year. The union says that Imperial | :05:02. | :05:09.
Tobacco would have to pay for around 420 parking spaces, around | :05:09. | :05:13.
121,000. The spaces would be shared by around 600 workers. That | :05:13. | :05:18.
works out at around 200 each, and the company wants the staff to pay | :05:18. | :05:26.
a share of that, perhaps 50%. This is what Imperial Tobacco said in a | :05:26. | :05:36.
:05:36. | :05:56. | ||
The council is saying that the levy is needed to pay for two new tram | :05:56. | :05:59.
lines and other public transport improvements in the city. Here it | :05:59. | :06:02.
is not yet clear when the ballot for industrial action will take | :06:02. | :06:12.
place. Next tonight: It's a universal benefit for the over- | :06:12. | :06:14.
sixties, but some better-off recipients don't feel they really | :06:14. | :06:17.
need it. So a small number are handing their winter fuel payments | :06:17. | :06:20.
to charity instead. The 125 fund has raised more than 15,000 since | :06:20. | :06:23.
it was set up last year by Leicester couple Paul and Sue | :06:23. | :06:26.
Newman. Now this winter's money will go to two charities - Age UK | :06:26. | :06:29.
and the Leicester Royal Infirmary, where it will help to build a new | :06:30. | :06:38.
children's cancer unit. Tom Brown Getting a first-hand look at where | :06:38. | :06:44.
their money will dog - Paul Mack and Sue Newman have donated several | :06:44. | :06:50.
thousand pounds to an appeal which aims to transform children's cancer | :06:50. | :06:52.
care at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. The money has come from | :06:52. | :06:56.
people who felt that therefore we - - their winter fuel allowance could | :06:56. | :07:00.
be better spent somewhere else. have to ask why this has not | :07:00. | :07:04.
already happened. It has only happened through that generosity of | :07:04. | :07:09.
the people of Leicester. The appeal will completely refurbish their | :07:09. | :07:12.
paediatric unit here. It is through these doors that the money will | :07:12. | :07:17.
make a real difference - a brand new cancer care unit for teenagers | :07:17. | :07:22.
and adults where they can mix with people of a similar age. When you | :07:22. | :07:26.
feel sick and down you would be able to relax and talk to other | :07:26. | :07:30.
people and play with you're age group. When you get back to school | :07:30. | :07:33.
you do not really know how to interact, whereas if they were here | :07:33. | :07:38.
you would. Paul and Sue are crucial to the success of this campaign. It | :07:38. | :07:44.
will cost 1.4 million to make -- create this unit. We have had | :07:44. | :07:47.
hundreds of donations but, because we need such a large amount of | :07:47. | :07:52.
money, people like Paul and Sue are invaluable. | :07:52. | :07:57.
Another recipient is Age UK, he got several thousand pounds from the | :07:57. | :08:01.
pot. Without that money we would have struggled. We do not have | :08:01. | :08:05.
spare cash to respond to people in times of emergency to. We can do | :08:05. | :08:12.
that in terms of hands-on support, but actually going out, buying coal, | :08:12. | :08:16.
paying utility bills, we could not do that in the past. | :08:16. | :08:21.
Two charities helped all thanks to the generosity of Leicester and | :08:21. | :08:29.
Rutland's over-sixties. A new report claims Nottingham city | :08:29. | :08:32.
centre as one of the highest proportions of empty shops in the | :08:32. | :08:35.
country. The survey by the Local Data Company says the city is | :08:35. | :08:38.
second only to Stockport for empty premises. The results are disputed | :08:38. | :08:41.
by the city council and a retail group. They say the report includes | :08:41. | :08:44.
outlying districts, and the true figure for vacancies in the heart | :08:44. | :08:49.
of the shopping area is around 18%. Super-fast broadband cables could | :08:49. | :08:54.
be installed along the route of Nottingham's tram system. The city | :08:54. | :08:57.
council's applying for millions of pounds of government cash to help | :08:57. | :09:02.
pay for the work. It is claimed it would give the city's businesses a | :09:02. | :09:11.
competitive edge in the digital age. Kathy Rochford reports. And new | :09:11. | :09:15.
super-fast broadband network could be on its way to Nottingham. This | :09:15. | :09:18.
entrepreneur says that becoming a Super connected city would be a | :09:18. | :09:22.
huge step forward. His company delivers text messages for | :09:22. | :09:26.
businesses. Their headquarters, employing 50 people, is in | :09:26. | :09:29.
Nottingham city centre. No matter where you are in the world, you | :09:29. | :09:39.
:09:39. | :09:40. | ||
should be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with any other team. | :09:40. | :09:45.
Having high-speed connectivity allows Nottingham to do that. | :09:45. | :09:52.
plan is to put the cable along the route of the two new tram lines in | :09:52. | :09:55.
Nottingham. Business leaders were told about the idea at the launch | :09:55. | :10:00.
of the council's economic growth plan for Nottingham. A bid has been | :10:00. | :10:04.
made for 8 million of government cash. He if we are able to get | :10:04. | :10:07.
super-fast broadband in across Nottingham, that will give us, as a | :10:07. | :10:12.
city, are real competitive advantage. Getting the connection | :10:12. | :10:17.
would also help to promote the city, something that this man says needs | :10:17. | :10:21.
to happen more often. We have to celebrate their achievements, | :10:21. | :10:26.
creatively and culturally and in business. Nottingham should become | :10:26. | :10:30.
synonymous with success. We need to celebrate the creativity of the | :10:30. | :10:34.
city. Other cities are also bidding for the grand, with the winners | :10:34. | :10:42.
being announced in the Budget next month. | :10:42. | :10:45.
A section of the A50 in Leicester was closed for most of the day | :10:45. | :10:48.
after a man died in an accident. The dual carriageway were shut | :10:48. | :10:51.
between the A46 Island at Groby and the Field Head Island at Markfield. | :10:51. | :10:54.
A van ended up across the central reservation at Bradgate Hill after | :10:54. | :10:59.
a collision involving another car. A car lost control and crashed into | :10:59. | :11:02.
the wall of a house in Leicester this afternoon. The accident | :11:02. | :11:07.
partially closed Victoria Park Road near the junction to Welford Road. | :11:07. | :11:10.
The driver and his passenger were both taken to hospital with minor | :11:10. | :11:17.
injuries. No-one else was hurt. Two people have been arrested in | :11:17. | :11:20.
connection with a series of lead thefts on two streets in a | :11:20. | :11:22.
Nottinghamshire town. Residents on Langdale Grove and Wychwood Road in | :11:22. | :11:25.
Bingham have had the lead sheeting from their front windows stripped | :11:25. | :11:28.
and taken. The theft happened at around 2 o'clock on Monday morning. | :11:28. | :11:31.
Some of the material has been recovered. Two teenagers are being | :11:31. | :11:41.
:11:41. | :11:42. | ||
questioned by the police. I didn't know until I got up and saw | :11:42. | :11:46.
footprints in the snow at the front. I what -- I thought it was kids who | :11:46. | :11:50.
had been on the lawn. Then I noticed that the lead was gone from | :11:50. | :11:53.
the window. It is not just an inconvenience, it is the distress | :11:54. | :11:59.
that it causes to some of the elderly people. They have totally | :11:59. | :12:08.
disregarded them. Still to come on the programme: | :12:08. | :12:12.
Time to party - it seems back in the 1930s no-one needed an excuse | :12:12. | :12:16.
to hold a street party or a parade. This was how they did things at | :12:16. | :12:18.
Arnold in Nottinghamshire back then. More pictures from the archives | :12:18. | :12:26.
later. When it comes to having babies, no | :12:26. | :12:30.
matter who you talk to, everyone seems to have an opinion on how | :12:30. | :12:33.
best to bring up your child. But when it comes to weaning, | :12:33. | :12:36.
researchers at the University of Nottingham say babies who are fed | :12:36. | :12:39.
pureed food tend to end up fatter than infants who are given finger | :12:39. | :12:49.
:12:49. | :12:49. | ||
food. Angelina Socci reports. It is dinner-time for this nine-month-old. | :12:49. | :12:54.
And her mother is not just paying attention to what sheets but how | :12:54. | :13:01.
she eats it. Eleanor Townshend is the co-author of today's reports on | :13:01. | :13:07.
baby weaning. She said that we need to pay more attention to what | :13:07. | :13:13.
babies eat. Children have a preference for carbohydrates. | :13:13. | :13:18.
They're like those foods the most, even more than sweet foods. Spoon- | :13:19. | :13:24.
fed children preferred something like sweet food the most. The other | :13:24. | :13:29.
thing we are interested in is the idea of self-control. The baby is | :13:29. | :13:34.
regulating what it eats. The child is given control and is allowed to | :13:34. | :13:38.
decide how much it eats. These mothers meet up every fortnight. | :13:38. | :13:41.
Food is always a hot topic of conversation but they do not all | :13:41. | :13:49.
agreed that they be led a group -- weaning is best. -- that baby-led | :13:49. | :13:56.
weaning. She will bite off little bits and then play around with the | :13:56. | :13:59.
man then we will still find it's going round her mouth two hours | :13:59. | :14:07.
later. When it comes to the evening meal she has definitely been more | :14:07. | :14:11.
hungry. I do not know of it is right to give more milk in the | :14:11. | :14:16.
night-time. He has been building up textures and lumpy food. He is | :14:16. | :14:20.
having a mixture of blended food and finger food. That has been | :14:20. | :14:25.
going really well until his teething started. Researchers say | :14:25. | :14:28.
they need to study children of a greater period to discover the | :14:28. | :14:32.
long-term benefits, but they think the early results will give parents | :14:32. | :14:42.
:14:42. | :14:42. | ||
plenty to chew on. Police are searching for a man who | :14:42. | :14:45.
tried to robber Nottingham Post Office. As this CCTV footage shows, | :14:45. | :14:48.
the man entered the Carlton Road store in Sneinton on 19th January. | :14:48. | :14:51.
He threatened the postmaster and demanded cash and then grabbed a | :14:51. | :14:54.
female customer. He is described as white, in his early twenties and of | :14:54. | :14:59.
slim build. Police are appealing for information. | :14:59. | :15:02.
The Leader of Leicestershire County Council has been referred to the | :15:02. | :15:04.
authority's Standards Committee following an investigation into his | :15:04. | :15:10.
travel expenses. David Parsons is accused of failing to promptly pay | :15:10. | :15:12.
back money he owed for trips to Brussels and frustrating the | :15:13. | :15:18.
investigation into his expenses. Mr Parsons says he will fully co- | :15:18. | :15:25.
operate with the committee's deliberations. | :15:25. | :15:28.
Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of almost 30,000 have | :15:28. | :15:31.
been seized from an illegal factory in Leicester. More than 100 plants | :15:31. | :15:35.
were found hidden inside business premises on Humberstone Rd. The | :15:35. | :15:38.
raid followed an anonymous tip-off to the police. A 33-year-old man | :15:38. | :15:46.
from Leicester has been arrested. Still to come this evening: A blast | :15:46. | :15:54.
from the past - Robbie Williams causes a big stir in Derby. | :15:54. | :15:58.
And I will be finding out which Nottingham Panther has had this | :15:58. | :16:07.
brick shaped banger named after them. Now the start of another | :16:07. | :16:10.
series of Preserving The Past and, this week, a glimpse of life in | :16:10. | :16:13.
Arnold in Nottinghamshire in the 1930s. The films which have been | :16:13. | :16:16.
collected by the local history group are part of the Full Circle | :16:16. | :16:20.
project, run by MACE - the Media Archive for Central England. And, | :16:20. | :16:23.
as Teresa Mikula found out, films like these are attracting bigger | :16:23. | :16:33.
:16:33. | :16:38. | ||
When Tommy Turner film events in and around Arnold in the 1930s, he | :16:38. | :16:43.
never knew how popular his films would become. The first time we | :16:43. | :16:48.
showed a film of Arnold, within two days we had sold out. The interest | :16:48. | :16:53.
is huge. One of the pieces of film is actually of Empire Day. There | :16:53. | :16:57.
were sports, parades by the uniformed organisations, as well as | :16:57. | :17:07.
social events - Dancing In the event -- dancing and so on. Just as | :17:07. | :17:12.
popular, the Red Cross and Boys Brigade rehearsing for any major | :17:12. | :17:20.
incident play stop and always a crowd-puller - a parade. Parades in | :17:20. | :17:25.
Arnold started in the 1,800s. They were quickly taken over by the non- | :17:26. | :17:28.
conformist Sunday school. The whole town turned out for them. The | :17:28. | :17:38.
:17:38. | :17:38. | ||
oldest film we have is from 1935. It was a major item for the town. | :17:38. | :17:42.
Abate event for the Turner family just one year before - a family | :17:42. | :17:47.
wedding. This film shows not just a happy couple but a flavour of life | :17:47. | :17:52.
at the time. Of course, film gives you an insight into what things | :17:52. | :17:59.
were like that photographs cannot. It is a fantastic piece of history. | :17:59. | :18:03.
When Thomas junior was born, the proud father was keen to record his | :18:03. | :18:09.
new baby. Looking at this film of 1938, comparing it to how children | :18:09. | :18:12.
are brought up to date, it is fascinating to see the differences | :18:12. | :18:17.
and similarities. It shows you how things were used, not just | :18:17. | :18:25.
photographs of everyday items. is a familiar landmark - Skegness | :18:25. | :18:31.
Clock Tower. Filmed initially for family and friends, Tommy's films | :18:31. | :18:36.
are now enjoyed by a much bigger audience. The local history group | :18:36. | :18:40.
has been growing. It started with about 40 people and is now up to | :18:40. | :18:44.
about 200 members. Interest in local history, particularly film, | :18:44. | :18:48.
is growing all the time. The fascination with seeing our | :18:48. | :18:51.
ancestors, friends and relations actually moving about just as it | :18:52. | :19:01.
was in the very early days of film, it still fascinates people. | :19:01. | :19:04.
Did you see the little apron when he was carving the turkey? Brings | :19:04. | :19:06.
it all back. Emotional. | :19:06. | :19:14.
Let's move on. Leicester City have won their | :19:14. | :19:16.
appeal against a three-match ban for striker Jermaine Beckford. He | :19:16. | :19:19.
was sent off on Saturday for alleged violent conduct and | :19:19. | :19:21.
received a three-match ban. The dismissal was controversial. | :19:21. | :19:24.
Initially ignored by the referee, it was given by his assistant. But | :19:24. | :19:27.
he was cleared after a review today and can play on Saturday against | :19:27. | :19:32.
Cardiff. Meanwhile, Leicester have had their | :19:33. | :19:35.
ticket allocation for the FA Cup tie at Norwich slashed by 40%. | :19:36. | :19:38.
Norwich say they have taken the decision on safety grounds. City | :19:38. | :19:41.
took 8,000 supporters to Nottingham Forest in the last round without | :19:41. | :19:44.
problems, but they have got fewer than 2,500 to sell when they go on | :19:45. | :19:48.
sale tomorrow. In rugby, Leicester's Manu Tuilagi | :19:48. | :19:51.
could bolster England's back line for the late stages of the Six | :19:51. | :19:55.
Nations. He has come through training this weekend is likely to | :19:55. | :19:59.
make Leicester's squad for their game with Exeter this weekend. | :19:59. | :20:01.
Meanwhile, fly-half Toby Flood has rejoined the national squad after | :20:01. | :20:05.
injury, but may be sent back to Leicester for more game time on | :20:05. | :20:10.
Saturday. In ice-hockey, Nottingham Panthers' | :20:10. | :20:15.
title hopes are likely to be decided in the next two weeks. They | :20:15. | :20:18.
have a series of big games, starting with two matches against | :20:18. | :20:25.
Belfast this weekend. Today they have received a special | :20:25. | :20:33.
honour from the local butcher. They will be looking for another | :20:33. | :20:38.
inspirational performance from goalie Craig Kowalski. It is great | :20:38. | :20:47.
having him in the side. Without him we would probably not have gotten | :20:48. | :20:53.
through some of the games that we have had. Through the middle, | :20:53. | :21:03.
Coventry get in. It is a tradition with the Panthers that come up when | :21:03. | :21:09.
a player is playing well, I meet- based product is named after them. | :21:09. | :21:16.
-- meat-based product. My next sausage is going to be like a stick | :21:16. | :21:21.
of rock. As you cut it, it will have Panthers all the way through | :21:21. | :21:31.
:21:31. | :21:31. | ||
The local sausage maker has the same name as my family. We have | :21:31. | :21:38.
nothing to do it but it has the same name. There have been some | :21:38. | :21:41.
great players to have meat named after them at the local butchers. | :21:41. | :21:48.
Now he is one of them. What we do say to those people who believe you | :21:48. | :21:53.
and now you have your own sausage? When I was starting off, I did not | :21:53. | :21:57.
know that people would be shooting is hard. If I had none that, I | :21:57. | :22:06.
probably would have not stuck with Collies are tough, and so is the | :22:06. | :22:11.
little camera on his helmet. -- goalkeepers. | :22:11. | :22:21.

Good luck to them this weekend. Now to our latest Olympic Dream. It | :22:22. | :22:26.
comes from a woman who ended up in tears on the track in Beijing. She | :22:26. | :22:29.
has lived in Loughborough for the last 10 years. And London will be | :22:29. | :22:33.
special - her dad has been part of the construction team at the | :22:33. | :22:39.
Olympic Park. My name is Lisa and I am a 1,500 metre runner. To stand | :22:39. | :22:42.
on the start line at the Olympics in the final was one of the most | :22:42. | :22:47.
amazing feelings I have ever had. I have always wanted to be there and | :22:47. | :22:54.
never thought I would make it. I was 4th in Beijing and that was | :22:54. | :22:58.
hard, to be so close. I have made some changes since then. I have | :22:58. | :23:05.
worked hard. I am four years older and have four years extra training. | :23:05. | :23:14.
My intention in 2012 is to win an Olympic medal. It is something that | :23:14. | :23:19.
would be very nice, it would mean everything to me. | :23:19. | :23:23.
We will have another Olympic dream next week. That is it from the | :23:23. | :23:31.
sport. Now, he is one of the world's top | :23:31. | :23:34.
stars, but Robbie Williams hasn't forgotten how he started out. He | :23:34. | :23:37.
recently posted a picture of himself, aged 14, on his website, | :23:37. | :23:40.
and asked who the four girls with him in the picture were. It turned | :23:40. | :23:44.
out they all came from Derby... And still do! James Roberson went to | :23:44. | :23:54.
:23:54. | :23:55. | ||
meet them. Still friends after all these years | :23:55. | :24:00.
- a Vanessa, Diane, Louisa and Sarah reminisce in Derby about the | :24:00. | :24:05.
lad they met on holiday 22 years ago. Then aged 16 and 17, they had | :24:05. | :24:09.
all gone to a holiday centre near Scarborough where Vanessa's dad was | :24:09. | :24:13.
working. We were having a holiday so I took three of my mates down | :24:13. | :24:17.
and we stayed for the week and had the time of our lives. And you met | :24:17. | :24:26.
this young lad? We did. We just knew him as Robbie. Di and | :24:26. | :24:29.
continued a relationship with the cheeky young Robbie after the | :24:29. | :24:35.
holiday, even going from Derby to Stoke to and visit him. -- to visit | :24:35. | :24:41.
him. I snogged him a few times. Louise was amazed when Robbie | :24:41. | :24:49.
turned up in Take That. I saw him on the front of a magazine, | :24:49. | :24:53.
recognised him immediately and rang the girls. We could not believe it. | :24:53. | :24:57.
We were pleased for him. We did not imagine that he would be a massive | :24:57. | :25:07.
star. But they were all staggered when | :25:07. | :25:10.
Robbie recently posted a picture of his website asking the mystery | :25:10. | :25:17.
girls to get in touch again. There we all are. Look. It is amazing. He | :25:17. | :25:24.
has done such things with his life, that he would still want to speak | :25:24. | :25:31.
to us is amazing. Robbie says he is thrilled to have met his first four | :25:31. | :25:34.
fans again and hopes to see them at a gig in the near future. | :25:34. | :25:39.
I bet they hope to see him, to exhibition but Robbie was on your | :25:39. | :25:42.
list, I understand. Yes, he was. | :25:42. | :25:47.
I still like him. A few of the girls are a little envious in the | :25:47. | :25:57.
:25:57. | :26:00. | ||
We are expecting a widespread severe frost overnight tonight. | :26:00. | :26:05.
Thank you for this picture. We are looking at very cold temperatures | :26:05. | :26:15.
:26:15. | :26:16. | ||
tonight. They are already falling well below freezing. With this -- | :26:16. | :26:20.
with these very cold temperatures, we have a warning out for ice on | :26:20. | :26:28.
untreated roads. We are still under the influence of this high pressure, | :26:28. | :26:31.
keeping a weather front sad day and keeping the cold weather coming in | :26:31. | :26:36.
from the East. We have started to see declared pushing a wade or the | :26:36. | :26:39.
last couple of hours. With this long spell of clear weather, the | :26:39. | :26:44.
temperatures are expected to fall to minus eight Celsius. The cloud | :26:44. | :26:48.
cover will increase in the early R's of Wednesday morning. There is | :26:48. | :26:58.
:26:58. | :26:58. | ||
the risk of the odd wintry shower. A cloudy start to Wednesday. A | :26:58. | :27:02.
frosty start and bitterly cold light throughout the day. We expect | :27:02. | :27:07.
a maximum of one or two Celsius and light winds. If we're lucky, maybe | :27:07. | :27:12.
one or two sunny spells to end the afternoon. On Thursday we are just | :27:12. | :27:22.
:27:22. | :27:22. | ||
about clinging on to the cold bear. -- the cold air. The temperatures | :27:22. | :27:25. |
