And now the news for the East Midlands,

Prince Harry has been back in the East Midlands today

and he was following in his mother's footsteps.

It's more than 25 years since she met staff and users

of an HIV charity in Leicester - this morning the Prince paid

Royal support for the 'Yes You Can' project at Hamilton Community

College in Leicester, a chance for this charity

to showcase its work, raising aspirations among young

I thought he would be formal but he was relaxed and making jokes,

he was so funny and he was genuinely interested in us as people

individually and the project as a whole.

It was so amazing, meeting Prince Harry,

not a lot of people can say that, it's fantastic.

Today's royal visit, real coup for this community project.

It's a huge thing, because we are very small charity,

a small team of individuals, but we have got huge aspirations

in terms of the work we're trying to do so this was a great

opportunity to place a spotlight on our project but on the young

people of Leicester, we're trying to work

as hard as we can to make a difference in their lives for.

Leicestershire and Rutland which is mother

The Princess of Wales came here to see the LASS panels,

a project commemorating the lives of those who died with AIDS.

Today's visit brought back memories of 1991.

I did manage to show him this, when Diana came,

she opened the front door and shouted, "I'm here".

What does it mean that her son is now carrying on that work?

I think that's super, it means he has the heart of his mother.

After meeting people who have supported and benefited from the

charity's work, Prince Harry then served lunch to volunteers.

He ended his visit at LASS by unveiling a

plaque to commemorate its 30th anniversary.

In the afternoon, the Prince visited the Pink Lizard project which helps

45,000 properties in Leicester were without power today

after an electricity sub station exploded and caught fire.

A plume of black smoke could be seen drifting across the city

until the Fire Service brought the blaze under control.

Leicestershire Fire Service will be returning every couple of hours over

the night to check the situation is still safe between Blackburn

You can still see some white smoke there.

It has been completely destroyed, but thanks to the quick work

of the Fire Service and Western power, it the substation

We looked across and we just saw this great ball of fire

across the electricity station and it just started going up.

All we saw was this big plume of smoke and then we saw this fire.

something's going to happen but it just seemed to be getting bigger,

The Fire Service kept it contained but had to allow

of fashion is Chatsworth House in Derbyshire.

Hundreds of garments have been restored and put on display as part

of a new exhibition showcasing five centuries of style.

From the pomp and splendour of a royal coronation,

to a dress fit for a catwalk, how style at Chatsworth House

is putting the spotlight on the many outfits and objects worn

by generations of the Devonshire family.

These elaborate costumes were made especially for the Devonshire ball

in 1897 to celebrate Queen Victoria's Jubilee.

It became known as the Party of the Century.
