Hello and welcome to Look East. In the programme tonight:

:00:06.:00:13.

Anger as a new countryside development is approved. This is a

:00:13.:00:18.

green light to developers that will see the destruction of much

:00:18.:00:21.

cherished piece of the countryside. Bravery awards for police after

:00:21.:00:23.

they rescue the passengers from this dramatic car crash.

:00:23.:00:26.

Travellers at Dale Farm tell the council, we don't want the homes

:00:26.:00:33.

you're offering. And I am in Trafalgar Square for

:00:33.:00:43.
:00:43.:00:44.

Hello. First tonight, the planning permission described as madness and

:00:44.:00:49.

based on guidelines which may never become law. Controversial proposals

:00:49.:00:52.

for a lorry park in Norfolk were approved today after councillors

:00:52.:00:54.

were told the government now expects authorities to back plans

:00:54.:01:01.

which promote economic development. It's thought it's the first time

:01:01.:01:03.

this national planning policy framework has influenced a planning

:01:03.:01:08.

decision. It could mean hundreds of developments across the region will

:01:08.:01:18.
:01:18.:01:22.

get the go-ahead. Alex Dunlop is at Great Ryburgh in Norfolk now.

:01:22.:01:27.

The company that owns this massive malting plant in grit) wants to

:01:27.:01:33.

build eight lorry park on a greenfield site. This morning,

:01:33.:01:38.

local councillors voted in favour of the application. And what was a

:01:38.:01:42.

local planning spat has turned into a part of a much wider debate over

:01:42.:01:48.

planning law. For decades, the village of Great)

:01:48.:01:55.

and the malting site has rubbed along quite well. This has just

:01:55.:02:03.

come out of the place. This process is tonnes of barley every year.

:02:03.:02:07.

This is its lorry park, but it is five miles away. The company wants

:02:07.:02:12.

to move it to this field next to the plant, 350 metres from a

:02:12.:02:17.

special conservation area. They say it will mean it less traffic.

:02:17.:02:21.

does not seem very sensible -- sensible for the trucks to leave a

:02:21.:02:26.

site empty, park up five miles away and come back empty in the morning.

:02:26.:02:31.

This is why it there will be a reduction. Opponents say the lorry

:02:32.:02:36.

park will affect wildlife and the quality of laugh for villagers.

:02:36.:02:40.

This is the green light to developers which will see the

:02:40.:02:48.

destruction of much cherished pieces of countryside.

:02:48.:02:51.

legislation surrounding this is the proposed government changed to

:02:51.:02:55.

planning guidance where economic development would have a greater

:02:55.:02:58.

priority. Before voting for a lorry park, councillors attention was

:02:58.:03:06.

drawn to that change in policy, which is still up for debate. Beat

:03:06.:03:11.

the proposed change in planning law have an impact? It was taken into

:03:11.:03:15.

account, brought to the attention of the committee. I do not think it

:03:15.:03:19.

necessarily had a huge sway, if any sway at all. But campaigners like

:03:19.:03:25.

these are who successfully opposed and development of a new town near

:03:25.:03:32.

Cambridge chair and those a posing a new incinerator, it says that

:03:32.:03:36.

developers would have an advantage under the new regime. Planning

:03:36.:03:41.

should be even-handed, not promoting one aspect of developing

:03:41.:03:46.

over and above social and environmental concerns. So Great

:03:46.:03:53.

Ryburgh's malting plants will expand. Opponents say this could be

:03:53.:03:55.

the first developments given the nod over a planning law which does

:03:55.:04:00.

not yet exist. I have since spoken to one of the

:04:00.:04:03.

councillors who voted against the application and she said she was

:04:03.:04:06.

absolutely appalled that this strapless station had been brought

:04:06.:04:12.

before the committee that voted -- that this draft legislation had

:04:12.:04:15.

been brought before the committee. She said one or two of her

:04:15.:04:20.

colleagues may have been swayed. The government said this is a

:04:20.:04:23.

consultation document and should not be used to on planning

:04:23.:04:27.

decisions. The consultation will end in the middle of next month.

:04:27.:04:31.

Earlier I spoke to the Planning Minister Greg Clark. He said the

:04:31.:04:34.

government had made it clear the new policy was still at

:04:34.:04:38.

consultation stage but he denied that it wanted economic development

:04:38.:04:42.

to take priority. There is no change in the purpose of the

:04:42.:04:47.

planning system which has always been, as your viewers know, to make

:04:47.:04:51.

sure that any growth that takes place creating homes and jobs that

:04:51.:04:58.

we need is done at the same time as safeguarding our very precious

:04:58.:05:02.

national and -- natural historical environment. It is taking a way

:05:02.:05:05.

this top-down imposition and trusting local people to do what I

:05:05.:05:11.

know people do if they are given their head and allowed to take

:05:11.:05:17.

decisions in the interest of the community. They will make decisions

:05:17.:05:21.

which is sensitive to the local environment. I do not think the

:05:21.:05:24.

people of great Whitebirk have been feeling their views have been taken

:05:24.:05:28.

into account. They had been overwhelmingly against this new

:05:28.:05:31.

lorry park being built. understand this was a decision

:05:31.:05:36.

taken by the local council. I think it is right that people have

:05:36.:05:39.

elected representatives making these decisions rather than by

:05:39.:05:44.

these unelected regional bodies that have been set up that have no

:05:44.:05:47.

democratic mandate and often do not know the real places which people

:05:47.:05:52.

live. Up the best, a sometimes difficult decisions are made but

:05:52.:05:57.

they should be made by local people. They say local people, but it will

:05:57.:06:02.

be down to the councillors, done -- not the people. It is down to the

:06:02.:06:05.

councils who are elected by local people. We are going further than

:06:05.:06:09.

that, we are giving the right to every neighbourhood, village of a

:06:09.:06:14.

parish or neighbourhood in a town or city, to produce a neighbour had

:06:14.:06:20.

plant which sets out in detail for that neighbourhood, village or part

:06:20.:06:28.

of town how they want their part of town to develop. But organisations

:06:28.:06:33.

are very concerned about these proposals. It is in consultation.

:06:33.:06:37.

Do you expect it to be watered down and changed before it becomes law?

:06:37.:06:43.

I think what we will find when we sit down together is we will

:06:43.:06:49.

discover there is far less between us than first appears. If there are

:06:49.:06:53.

aspects that require a clear explanation, if there are issues

:06:53.:06:57.

that are of concern, I am happy to address them. This is a

:06:57.:07:01.

consultation which is simplifying over 1000 pages of policy that

:07:01.:07:05.

every local council had to be bound by, very difficult for people to be

:07:05.:07:08.

gets to grips with that. We are making it much simpler.

:07:08.:07:11.

The police have released dramatic pictures of a car being driven at

:07:11.:07:15.

high speed on the wrong side of the road before it crashed through a

:07:15.:07:18.

hedge and burst into flames. Some of the people inside would probably

:07:18.:07:25.

have died if it wasn't for the bravery of two police officers.

:07:25.:07:31.

This is the moment a 16 year-old driver loses control of his car,

:07:31.:07:39.

smashing into a field at 90 miles per hour. His girlfriend and three

:07:39.:07:43.

teenage passengers are now moments away from death. The car catches

:07:43.:07:48.

fire. Today, the two officers who saved their lives returned to the

:07:48.:07:53.

scene to recall what happened. we came up to the junction, the

:07:53.:07:57.

vehicle has come straight across the junction. We don't know what's

:07:57.:08:01.

happened. It has gone straight into the field and we have only seen the

:08:01.:08:05.

lights go into the air, so we know it had flipped. The engine bay was

:08:05.:08:10.

on fire. The pursuit began in Histon in Cambridgeshire. It came

:08:10.:08:15.

to a dramatic end at the Needingworth bypass. Straightaway

:08:15.:08:20.

we could tell that we people were trapped. The colt was on fire and

:08:20.:08:24.

they needed help. Unfortunately we were there to hold them. We could

:08:24.:08:29.

not stand by and let them perish. The driver is the first out and

:08:29.:08:33.

attempts to escape, leaving his girlfriend and passengers in the

:08:33.:08:36.

burning vehicle. It is now with the fire spreading through the car and

:08:36.:08:42.

about to explode at any moment that PC Draper risks his life to free

:08:42.:08:46.

the trapped passengers. Both officers have now been awarded for

:08:46.:08:49.

the determination and courage they showed that night. I feel very

:08:49.:08:54.

proud, very pleased. It is an honour to get that sort of award

:08:54.:08:57.

from senior management, peers and colleagues. It is nice to be

:08:57.:09:02.

recognised for an hour actions on evening. I feel very proud of what

:09:02.:09:07.

we have done that evening. driver was sentenced to 12 months

:09:07.:09:10.

in prison. Although that did not stop him from telling his

:09:10.:09:13.

girlfriend but it was him that tracked her unconscious from the

:09:13.:09:18.

wreckage. Coming up later in the programme,

:09:18.:09:21.

our rugby players ready to take centre stage at the World Cup.

:09:21.:09:30.

And former Paralympian Danny Crates is in Trafalgar Square. By the time

:09:30.:09:34.

I had finished speaking, London will be 10 seconds closer to

:09:34.:09:38.

hosting the Paralympic Games. We will be bringing you all the action

:09:38.:09:45.

from Trafalgar Square. That is of Students who made it through the

:09:45.:09:48.

scramble of clearing and won a place at university are facing a

:09:48.:09:51.

new challenge tonight, finding somewhere to live. Anglia Ruskin

:09:51.:09:54.

University in Cambridge says its rooms are full and students may

:09:54.:10:04.
:10:04.:10:05.

have to defer their place for a year. Mike Cartwright reports.

:10:05.:10:09.

This man has a place at university, but he has not got a place to live.

:10:09.:10:13.

He has been looking for weeks. Always told this. Unfortunately we

:10:13.:10:17.

have not got anything at the moment. I can take your details and case

:10:17.:10:21.

something comes up and we can give you a call. He starts here next

:10:21.:10:26.

week. It has been a nightmare. If you really wants to have a good

:10:26.:10:29.

chance of getting anything, you have to be in Cambridge every

:10:29.:10:35.

single day. Going to agencies, calling people up, using the house-

:10:35.:10:39.

hunting teams. This former nursing home was going to be sold. Now the

:10:39.:10:43.

landlord is having it refurbished for 27 students. Most move into

:10:43.:10:49.

their rooms on Saturday. The estate agent says hundreds of students

:10:49.:10:53.

contacted have. In my experience, I have never seen it like this before,

:10:53.:10:58.

people are not finding anywhere. Some landlords are having bidding

:10:58.:11:03.

wars on their homes, and students are paying well over the odds.

:11:03.:11:08.

of the students affected came through Clearing, late arrivals. On

:11:08.:11:12.

their website, the university is asking them to be flexible and look

:11:12.:11:17.

up to an hour away from the City. This happened last year, why has it

:11:17.:11:27.
:11:27.:11:33.

happened again? The university told Applications here are a 9% this

:11:33.:11:39.

year to almost 17,000. One option for students, the university says,

:11:39.:11:43.

is to differ, but fees next year are rising. The other option is

:11:43.:11:46.

stay and keep looking for somewhere to live.

:11:46.:11:49.

If you're a student struggling to find accommodation, or if you have

:11:49.:11:59.
:11:59.:12:02.

another story to tell, we'd love to Officials say worries over the

:12:02.:12:06.

health of one of the travellers at the Dale Farm site in Essex won't

:12:06.:12:08.

delay the planned eviction. Supporters of 72-year-old Mary

:12:09.:12:14.

Flynn argued that she's severely ill. But after taking a fresh look

:12:14.:12:17.

at her case the council confirmed today she'll be part of the

:12:17.:12:25.

clearance as planned. In the past few weeks, Mary Flynn

:12:25.:12:29.

has become a key figure in the battle over Dale Farm. When the

:12:29.:12:32.

Court of Appeal ruled that the clearance of 60 pitches there which

:12:32.:12:35.

did not have planning permission could go ahead, Basildon council

:12:35.:12:39.

agreed it would take seven days studying fresh evidence about her

:12:40.:12:44.

condition which includes breathing problems and needed to use a

:12:44.:12:50.

nebuliser. But today, without seven days of, the council said it had

:12:50.:12:53.

offered fresh accommodation and gave its response. It is actually

:12:54.:12:59.

in her interests not to be on site when the clearing happens. All of

:13:00.:13:04.

her needs can and will be addressed if she takes up the offer.

:13:04.:13:07.

eviction is planned to start his 11 days, the council says it has been

:13:07.:13:11.

left with little choice after 10 years of wrangling over a site

:13:11.:13:16.

which critics say has blighted the area. Yesterday the Prime Minister

:13:16.:13:20.

backed the clearance says it is a basic issue of fairness. We are not

:13:20.:13:25.

taking houses from homeless people. They are entitled to have them. We

:13:25.:13:30.

are asking for a piece of ground not bricks-and-mortar. Today some

:13:30.:13:33.

of the travellers staged a fresh protest. They say the eviction will

:13:34.:13:37.

leave them go no way to go and claimed it would be unfair for them

:13:37.:13:40.

to take council accommodation when there are others already in the

:13:40.:13:45.

queue. We are asking the council for a piece of ground, lots -- not

:13:45.:13:49.

a house. There are people waiting and it is unfair if we take the

:13:49.:13:56.

houses in front of them. They will see that we are not to take

:13:56.:14:01.

anything away from them, we do not even once taxpayer money.

:14:01.:14:06.

council says date have made offers of accommodation, but they say they

:14:06.:14:09.

want to remain true to their community and remain where they are.

:14:09.:14:13.

The BBC understands that Southend Pier could be closed for up to two

:14:13.:14:16.

weeks after being hit by a barge. The westerly side of the pier was

:14:16.:14:19.

damaged on Monday. The barge was being used for fire protection work

:14:19.:14:24.

when high winds blew it into the pier.

:14:24.:14:26.

In football, Colchester United are looking to strengthen their squad

:14:26.:14:29.

with the transfer window for loan signings now open. The U's have

:14:29.:14:32.

made an indifferent start to the season in League One. A 1-1 draw

:14:33.:14:36.

with Scunthorpe on Saturday left them 13th in the table, and in need

:14:36.:14:45.

of reinforcements. I have put a couple of phone calls

:14:45.:14:49.

in, I am not the only one ringing up about the same players. It is

:14:49.:14:51.

just a question to see if other clubs will release their players

:14:51.:14:56.

and we can get them in. We would like to strengthen the squad if we

:14:56.:15:00.

can, that has been a best kept secret for a long time!

:15:00.:15:03.

A marine engineer has been given an award for bravery for saving the

:15:03.:15:06.

life of a pensioner. 72-year-old Patricia Scott was rescued by John

:15:06.:15:09.

Cressey after she fell into the Broads during a holiday at Acle in

:15:09.:15:17.

Norfolk. Yarmouth coastguard, over! John

:15:17.:15:21.

Cressey has been on the brought all his life. He is contracted by the

:15:21.:15:24.

boat hire companies to help out holidaymakers to get into

:15:24.:15:29.

difficulty. She was very lucky. The water was cold, it was a lot

:15:29.:15:36.

windier than today. In July last year, he was working when 72 year-

:15:36.:15:39.

old Patricia Scott, and none swimmer, fell into the water. She

:15:39.:15:43.

was moments away from being crushed by her own bread when John Paul had

:15:43.:15:51.

to safety. A boat will have landed on this side and crushed her

:15:51.:15:55.

against the pier. She was quite frail, 72 years old. She might not

:15:55.:16:02.

have been here. You are one of the unsung heroes of the Broads. Today

:16:02.:16:05.

the chief executive of the Broads Authority handed over her bravery

:16:05.:16:10.

award from the Royal Humane Society. Between you and me, I have probably

:16:10.:16:17.

saved 18 people, this was the 19th person in 40 years. And I have

:16:17.:16:23.

never had any recognition before. But I think it is good for me, now,

:16:23.:16:27.

and the Broads, to get a bit of recognition thought the work I have

:16:27.:16:33.

done. John Cressey is a modest but very remarkable man. Once unsung,

:16:34.:16:43.
:16:44.:16:52.

You are watching Look East. Coming up, Owl wants to watch in the Rugby

:16:52.:16:55.

World Cup. The new political year is just

:16:55.:16:59.

starting and that means one thing. The party conference season is upon

:16:59.:17:03.

us. Over the next month politicians and activists from all the main

:17:03.:17:05.

parties will come together to celebrate, or commiserate, and

:17:05.:17:09.

debate future policies. Tonight members of the UK Independence

:17:09.:17:12.

Party are gathering in Eastbourne and many from this region are in

:17:13.:17:22.

high spirits. If you ask UKIP if they are doing

:17:22.:17:26.

well, they will send you here, to Ramsay in temperature. Earlier this

:17:26.:17:32.

year, this became the first council in the country to be run by UKIP.

:17:32.:17:35.

There is always talk about big breakthroughs, but it is small

:17:35.:17:40.

steps, and we are making impact. We took over a local council, running

:17:40.:17:44.

it, and it is breaking into local elections and the district

:17:44.:17:48.

elections. That is when we will get our break through into Westminster.

:17:48.:17:52.

Once dismissed by the Prime Minister as a bunch of fruitcakes,

:17:52.:17:56.

UKIP refuses to go away. A large proportion of its support comes

:17:56.:18:00.

from this region, but only in European elections. Despite its

:18:00.:18:05.

efforts in the local elections, it still only has three district

:18:05.:18:09.

councillors across the East. It is easy to belittle us in that way,

:18:09.:18:14.

but our vote went up considerable at council election time. It takes

:18:14.:18:18.

time to come to a tipping point when you win a seat. We did well

:18:18.:18:21.

enough for us to become quite confident and enthusiastic about

:18:21.:18:26.

being better next time. You have to follow the rules of the country or

:18:26.:18:31.

don't be here. So seriously is the company -- party taking the next

:18:31.:18:36.

election, he is already interviewing potential candidate.

:18:36.:18:40.

UKIP is continuing to grow in popularity. At Essex University,

:18:40.:18:46.

they close the monitor -- voting habits. They are picking up

:18:46.:18:50.

disaffected Conservatives. Another development which is interesting is

:18:50.:18:55.

that people now are becoming significantly more against British

:18:55.:19:02.

membership of the European Union. That is why the Party is gathering

:19:02.:19:09.

in optimistic mood. They are only proven -- polling at 6%, they have

:19:09.:19:12.

no council seat and one of their MPs has defected to the

:19:12.:19:16.

Conservatives but UKIP believes it speaks for money and it's time will

:19:16.:19:22.

come. -- it speaks for many and it's time will come.

:19:22.:19:26.

Ten players from our region are taking part in the Rugby World Cup

:19:26.:19:28.

which starts tomorrow. Northampton Saints have eight players in the

:19:28.:19:30.

tournament, including Soane Tonga'uiha. He plays for Tonga, and

:19:30.:19:33.

tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock our time, they play the favourites New

:19:33.:19:39.

Zealand. He is the Tonga and beefcake who at

:19:39.:19:47.

20 stone has brutalised D best packs indeed Premiership. As Iraq,

:19:47.:19:51.

man map -- as a result, Soane Tonga'uiha it is loved by the

:19:51.:19:56.

Saints fans. I am quite scared because I do not know half the team,

:19:56.:20:02.

have not been back for four years. I have not been speaking the

:20:02.:20:08.

language to my mother! Do you miss it much? When you go back, is it

:20:08.:20:12.

like old times? There is a few moments when we have got down time

:20:12.:20:16.

when I look back and I think about the years ago when I was there, and

:20:16.:20:22.

he would have thought when I would be now. I am glad I am out of there,

:20:22.:20:27.

I am fortunate to be where I am now. Aged eight, Soane Tonga'uiha move

:20:27.:20:30.

to what he thought would be a brighter time in New Zealand. But

:20:30.:20:37.

for him, it has anything back -- it was anything but. It was really

:20:37.:20:42.

tough. Some moment I thought, what am I doing here? I hated my mum for

taking me over there and leaving my friends in Tonga. When you think

:20:47.:20:51.

back but you are grateful for what they have done, you feel that you

:20:51.:20:57.

should pay your mother back. Eight years on, Soane Tonga'uiha is back

:20:57.:21:02.

in New Zealand, one of the most feared forwards in the modern game.

:21:02.:21:09.

Tonga has made quite an impression. Went he stands on the touchline

:21:09.:21:13.

tomorrow, Soane Tonga'uiha will be fighting back the tears.

:21:13.:21:16.

Preparations will go out of the window, emotions will be running

:21:16.:21:21.

riot. It is not going to be easy to stop the tears coming down but I

:21:21.:21:26.

think it will be an emotional moment, I'll quite to come forward

:21:26.:21:34.

to it. -- I am quite looking forward to it.

:21:34.:21:37.

Time now for our weekly report rounding up the stories affecting

:21:37.:21:40.

this region for London 2012. Athletes from our region were

:21:40.:21:42.

taking part in International Paralympic Day. The event in

:21:42.:21:45.

Trafalgar Square showcases the 20 sports on offer and comes a day

:21:45.:21:48.

before tickets go on sale. We sent former gold medallist Danny Crates

:21:48.:21:57.

along. Just over six and a half years ago,

:21:57.:22:00.

I was on stage hit in Trafalgar Square when the announcement was

:22:00.:22:03.

made that London would have the honour of hosting the Olympic and

:22:03.:22:09.

Paralympic Games. We are back here today when the Paralympics has his

:22:09.:22:17.

chance to showcase what it really has to offer. What are you hoping

:22:17.:22:22.

this will achieve today? I had two things out of today. One, people

:22:22.:22:26.

have a great day enjoying a different sport on show, it is

:22:26.:22:30.

fantastic. I also hope it brings home to people that the games are

:22:30.:22:36.

very near now. Ellie Simmons is one of the biggest names in Paralympic

:22:36.:22:41.

sport, I must have signature for any Olympic autograph hunter.

:22:41.:22:46.

Having now at home, it is exciting, hopefully will have a massive crowd.

:22:46.:22:52.

Hoping to emulate her success from Beijing is a volleyball player.

:22:52.:22:58.

Butterflies in my stomach, that is my feeling. We are boosting our

:22:58.:23:05.

training, it is hectic. The main feeling is excited, everyone wants

:23:05.:23:09.

to be there, on the starting line, walking out and having a home crowd

:23:09.:23:13.

cheering pulled a up today's event at Trafalgar Square is a great

:23:13.:23:15.

opportunity for lesser-known sports like golf ball to showcase what

:23:15.:23:22.

they have to offer. It is one day before the tickets go on sale.

:23:22.:23:25.

get Paralympic sports. You guys in in large part have been responsible

:23:25.:23:31.

for that. People like Tanni Grey Thompson are household names. She

:23:31.:23:35.

has transcended all sport. A lot of big changes in Paralympic sport had

:23:35.:23:39.

been driven by people in this country. I think we stand a better

:23:39.:23:44.

chance than most of filling those venues. I get people stopping me in

:23:44.:23:47.

the streets saying, I'm going to get Paralympic to Bix. That is

:23:47.:23:53.

great! It is an amazing place to be. We invented the Games, we are

:23:53.:23:56.

pretty good at it, and we are going to have something special to show

:23:56.:24:01.

the world. Hundreds of thousands of people missed out on her Olympic

:24:01.:24:03.

tickets so organisers will be hoping that tomorrow's launch will

:24:03.:24:12.

prove just as popular. It was cold this morning, wasn't

:24:12.:24:18.

It was really chilly when I took my daughter to school.

:24:18.:24:23.

Am I getting the blame again? Es! It will not bitter, it was not

:24:23.:24:32.

The temperature is in at the moment higher than it has been all day,

:24:32.:24:36.

this area of low pressure is bringing in warm air from the south.

:24:36.:24:41.

We started today with a lot of cloud right across the region, but

:24:41.:24:47.

if I animate the chant from One and PM, it started to thin and break.

:24:47.:24:51.

Many parts of the region enjoying a fine end to the day, sunny spells,

:24:51.:24:56.

really starting to feel quite warm for this time of year. The second

:24:56.:25:00.

half of the night, we will start to get a bit more cloud developing and

:25:00.:25:04.

we will see some rain are pushing up from the South overnight. Darker

:25:04.:25:08.

colours around Chelmsford, there might be the odd heavy a burst.

:25:08.:25:17.

Most of their rain is expected to be light and patchy. It will be

:25:17.:25:24.

warm tonight, average for this time of year is 10 or 11. Into tomorrow,

:25:24.:25:30.

the warm front that brings in this warmer air moves well away. More

:25:30.:25:35.

warm air coming up on the south. A fine day expected. An area of low

:25:35.:25:39.

pressure expected ready to change that for the weekend, but I will

:25:39.:25:43.

come onto that shortly. Tomorrow, you will notice that it feels warm

:25:43.:25:47.

and pleasant with sunny spells developing. It will start Caddick,

:25:47.:25:53.

patchy rain to clear first thing, but it will thin and break,

:25:54.:25:57.

allowing sunshine to break through. It is going to be very warm

:25:57.:26:04.

tomorrow. The wind speed will pick up a little bit and we will end up

:26:04.:26:09.

with a moderate south-westerly. With slightly unstable air, in the

:26:09.:26:15.

west of the region we could get the odd isolated shower. Most places

:26:15.:26:19.

staying dry, turning clouded what the end of the day. This is the

:26:19.:26:23.

pressure Chard for the weekend. An area of low pressure, a cold front

:26:23.:26:31.

spins through on Saturday. Another weather front from the south will

:26:31.:26:35.

bring wet and windy weather. The isobars are tightly packed,

:26:35.:26:41.

indicating fairly strong winds. Warm and sunny tomorrow, make the

:26:41.:26:44.

most of it because as we get into the weekend we see the wind speed

:26:44.:26:54.

picking up, breezy conditions. The temperature will fall, but not

:26:54.:26:59.

dramatically. Fairly cloudy conditions on Sunday, outbreaks of

:26:59.:27:03.
