Snared on powerlines. Left suspended for hours. A remarkable | :00:05. | :00:12.
escape for the passengers of this balloon and the pilot. | :00:12. | :00:15.
Things do go through your mind obviously when you're stuck up | :00:15. | :00:18.
there, what could have happened. But the main thing is that we're | :00:18. | :00:21.
all back down here and we're safe. Hello and welcome to Monday's Look | :00:21. | :00:23.
East. The other stories on tonight's programme: | :00:23. | :00:29.
Lambing live. But a new virus makes it a tough spring for farmers. | :00:29. | :00:32.
No-one wants to see any poorly or sick animals we care for them as | :00:33. | :00:38.
much as we can. Paying tribute to Tony Newton - a | :00:38. | :00:47.
cabinet minister in the last Conservative government. I think he | :00:47. | :00:50.
will be remembered as one of the most decent people in modern | :00:50. | :00:52.
politics. And life as a football manager with | :00:52. | :01:02.
:01:02. | :01:06. | ||
First tonight, the three people left suspended in mid-air after | :01:06. | :01:09.
their hot air balloon became entangled in power lines carrying | :01:09. | :01:15.
more than 100,000 volts. This was the scene near the village | :01:15. | :01:19.
of Bozeat near Wellingborough just after six o'clock last night. The | :01:19. | :01:23.
basket of the balloon hanging 45 feet above the ground. The power | :01:23. | :01:27.
had to be turned off before the rescue could start. One of the | :01:27. | :01:29.
passengers had minor burns, but apart from that nobody was | :01:30. | :01:39.
seriously injured. Our reporter Stuart Ratcliffe is at the scene. | :01:39. | :01:45.
If you look behind me, just 24 hours ago at the ballooned and its | :01:45. | :01:51.
three passengers were suspended from those power lines. Those lines | :01:51. | :01:55.
carry 130,000 volts so it is incredible to think that the pilot | :01:55. | :01:59.
and his two passengers escaped with minor burns and cuts and bruises. | :01:59. | :02:05.
A balloon ride, a perfect end to a spring evening. But as this footage | :02:05. | :02:10.
shows, it ended in a horrific fashion, would be balloon becoming | :02:10. | :02:16.
entangled in the high-voltage lines. After 6pm, emergency services and | :02:16. | :02:24.
the power companies arrived at the scene to find the pilot and two | :02:24. | :02:28.
passengers. We could not go anywhere near the basket until the | :02:28. | :02:32.
power lines had been thirst. As soon as they were first, we could | :02:32. | :02:36.
go up there and affect our rescue. As it worried friends and relatives | :02:36. | :02:41.
looked on, the passengers and the pilot were lowered to safety, | :02:41. | :02:47.
shaken but amazingly, all escaped serious injury. I'm OK. The two | :02:47. | :02:52.
passengers are fine. That is the main thing. The balloon is a mess, | :02:52. | :02:58.
but that is not a problem. We are all down on the ground and fine. | :02:58. | :03:02.
Today, the true horror of what could happen became all too | :03:02. | :03:08.
apparent. We are waiting for two cranes to turn up to remove the | :03:08. | :03:13.
balloon. We plan to lift the bank it -- the basket first and then | :03:13. | :03:18.
lower the balloon. Hopefully that will happen around midday. One of | :03:18. | :03:22.
those businesses affected was this air testing company in Bedford. | :03:22. | :03:27.
knock-on effects for these things are huge. They are rare, but we | :03:27. | :03:31.
have a lot of visitors so a few hundred people have been affected | :03:31. | :03:36.
by the power not been there for a while. Around 10:30am, cranes were | :03:36. | :03:40.
manoeuvred into place to remove the basket and then the big operation | :03:40. | :03:44.
to unlock the balloon. The pilot was also there today to watch. He | :03:44. | :03:49.
told me that it was a flight he will never forget, but despite it | :03:49. | :03:54.
ordeal he has not been put off from taking to the skies again. | :03:54. | :03:58.
I'm joined by David from Northamptonshire Fire and rescue | :03:58. | :04:02.
and he was involved in the operation last night. Tell me what | :04:02. | :04:06.
role he were playing and how difficult an operation it was? | :04:06. | :04:10.
were presented with a very difficult rescue situation. We have | :04:10. | :04:15.
three people in the basket about 15 metres off the ground with a hot | :04:15. | :04:20.
air balloon trying to go around the high-voltage cables. This presented | :04:20. | :04:25.
a number of challengers and risks that had to be overcome, with the | :04:25. | :04:30.
focus on ensuring a safe rescue. was hit this morning and saw the | :04:30. | :04:33.
balloon hanging from the power lines. It is incredible that no one | :04:33. | :04:38.
was seriously injured or killed. Yes, the occupants were very, very | :04:38. | :04:46.
lucky. There were all sorts of potential issues around this kind | :04:46. | :04:51.
of incident, not least the high- voltage cables. Very fortunate. | :04:51. | :04:56.
Northamptonshire is known for its balloon -- balloons with the Berlin | :04:56. | :05:04.
Festival. Have you seen this before? I have not personally | :05:04. | :05:06.
experienced this type of incident, but they have occurred before in | :05:06. | :05:12.
the county. David, thank you very much, and well done on a successful | :05:12. | :05:16.
operation. Because this was such a serious incident, it has had a | :05:16. | :05:20.
happy ending for the pilot and the two passengers, the whole thing is | :05:20. | :05:24.
now being investigated in an official inquiry. We should have | :05:24. | :05:34.
:05:34. | :05:35. | ||
the results in the coming months. Back to you. | :05:35. | :05:38.
It's lambing time across the region, but a new disease means that this | :05:38. | :05:41.
year farmers are keeping a particularly close eye on their | :05:41. | :05:43.
flocks. The Schmalenberg virus is spread by midges and causes birth | :05:44. | :05:47.
defects in calves and lambs. Jozef Hall is on a farm near Peterborough. | :05:47. | :05:51.
This little guy is just over one hour old. He is gorgeous and he | :05:51. | :05:54.
represents a picture-perfect seen. That is one that is replicated | :05:54. | :05:58.
across the best part of the country, because there are over 60,000 sheep | :05:58. | :06:04.
farms, most of them Lamming now. But sadly, 209 of them are affected | :06:04. | :06:08.
with the Schmalenberg virus. As you can see, our region accounts for | :06:08. | :06:12.
more than its fair share. We have got more than a quarter of those | :06:12. | :06:17.
209 affected farms. For the best part of last night and today, I | :06:17. | :06:21.
have been on this farm at to see what it is like from a bomber's | :06:21. | :06:27.
point of view, not only living with Schmalenberg, but also without it. | :06:27. | :06:33.
-- a farmer's point of view. 2 am on the farm and it is time to | :06:33. | :06:37.
check on the Lambs. By 4:00am, it is the same again. The lambing | :06:37. | :06:42.
season is tough but it is rewarding. However with Schmalenberg nearby, a | :06:42. | :06:46.
sense of fear threatens this magical time of year. | :06:46. | :06:52.
A what stage the realise they are OK? If they are performed, he would | :06:52. | :06:56.
be able to tell straight away when you put your hands on them. | :06:56. | :07:02.
Sometimes you get the odd lamb that is not right in the head and a bit | :07:02. | :07:10.
dopey. A bit of love and attention and it will come around. Robert has | :07:10. | :07:20.
:07:20. | :07:22. | ||
had a busy night. At 2:30am, 300 ewes started lambing. All of the 12 | :07:22. | :07:26.
lambs are so far healthy. A healthy lamb will fetch around | :07:26. | :07:29.
90 in the market, but Schmalenberg is more than just a financial | :07:29. | :07:36.
worries. I was brought up with sheep. I think it is quite | :07:36. | :07:41.
distressing when you see things like this happening. To me, farming | :07:41. | :07:48.
is about this, having livestock on the farm. I care about them as much | :07:48. | :07:52.
as someone would care about their children, I suppose. No one wants | :07:52. | :07:57.
to see any poorly all sick animals, we care for them as much as we can | :07:57. | :08:01.
and give them the best life possible. It is a cruel disease and | :08:01. | :08:06.
and and visible one until birth, but by then it is too late. It | :08:06. | :08:10.
leaves farmers with little choice than to concentrate on the healthy | :08:10. | :08:16.
ones. Just going around the field to look for sheep that are Lamming | :08:16. | :08:20.
all have around. Bombs were that Schmalenberg say that that is their | :08:20. | :08:24.
biggest concern, but the season is notoriously long and with so little | :08:24. | :08:31.
known about Schmalenberg, no one is home dry yet. -- farms with | :08:31. | :08:38.
Schmalenberg. This far know what it is in the | :08:38. | :08:41.
area. DEFRA have confirmed today that there are between 10 and 20 | :08:41. | :08:45.
more farms every week been diagnosed with cases of | :08:45. | :08:50.
Schmalenberg. You may remember about one month ago, we spoke to a | :08:50. | :08:57.
suffer,. He was hit terribly hard as he lost 75 sheep. I spoke to him | :08:57. | :09:02.
yesterday to see how he was getting on. He said that we need to keep it | :09:02. | :09:07.
in perspective. I could lose up to 50 lambs in one bit of bad weather, | :09:07. | :09:15.
though -- so although Schmalenberg is bad, it could have been worse. | :09:15. | :09:19.
Later in the programme: we look back on a great weekend for Sport | :09:19. | :09:20.
Relief. And an interview with Paul Sturrock | :09:21. | :09:30.
:09:31. | :09:33. | ||
about how to be a football manager Five months after the eviction of | :09:33. | :09:36.
travellers living on illegal pitches at Dale Farm in Essex, | :09:36. | :09:41.
there appears to be stalemate again. Some travellers living in caravans | :09:41. | :09:44.
on the road next to the site have been issued with notices to leave | :09:44. | :09:49.
by the council. But they say they are not going anywhere. Richard | :09:49. | :09:58.
Daniel reports. The violent Dale Farm addiction | :09:58. | :10:02.
cost over 7 million. But five months on, travellers forced to | :10:02. | :10:06.
from the Eagle site are parked illegally on the access road close | :10:06. | :10:11.
by. Basildon council has given and 21 days to leave. This woman's | :10:11. | :10:17.
caravan is one of 20 served notices. She says she is going nowhere. | :10:17. | :10:22.
have nowhere to go so we will have to fight this as well. It is just a | :10:22. | :10:26.
long playing record. It will be exactly the same thing over again. | :10:26. | :10:30.
We will not move because we have nowhere to move. The council has | :10:30. | :10:36.
also issued notices to every single plot on the legal site, 34 in total. | :10:36. | :10:42.
It warns that any with more than two caravans are breaking the law. | :10:42. | :10:45.
Travellers from outside the area had apparently mute been since the | :10:45. | :10:52.
addiction. They have never been other strangers, everyone has | :10:52. | :10:58.
belonged to this farm. In the real- world, we would have somewhere to | :10:58. | :11:03.
live. The council is wondering whether to embark upon another | :11:03. | :11:07.
costly addiction. The original plan was to return man to green belt | :11:07. | :11:13.
status, but five months on, it is anything but. It leaves many | :11:13. | :11:15.
wondering what has been achieved here. | :11:15. | :11:19.
A man's denied raping a teenager in Essex 14 years ago. John Molt, | :11:19. | :11:22.
who's 34, is accused of attacking the girl near a wood in Harlow in | :11:22. | :11:27.
1997. Today, at Chelmsford Crown Court, he pleaded not guilty. He | :11:27. | :11:31.
was remanded in custody to await a trial in June. | :11:31. | :11:33.
The athlete Sally Gunnell helped launch Easyjet's first flight from | :11:33. | :11:37.
Southend Airport today. The airline is planning 70 departures a week | :11:37. | :11:40.
from the terminal, carrying around a million passengers a year. | :11:40. | :11:43.
Easyjet also said its losses this year are likely to be lower than | :11:43. | :11:48.
forecast. The former cabinet minister Tony | :11:48. | :11:52.
Newton has died at the age of 74. He was the Conservative MP for | :11:53. | :11:57.
Braintree for 23 years. He lost his parliamentary seat in 1997, but | :11:57. | :12:01.
remained active in public life until just before his death. Our | :12:01. | :12:08.
political correspondent Andrew Sinclair reports. | :12:08. | :12:14.
He had not been well for a while, but Tony Newton refused to stop. | :12:14. | :12:19.
is neither bright, fair and or just... Slightly out of breath and | :12:19. | :12:25.
aided by the occasional puff of oxygen, he spoke out against parts | :12:25. | :12:29.
of the welfare bill. It was one of the few times he voted against the | :12:29. | :12:34.
government. The importance of this scheme, which times -- which ties | :12:34. | :12:40.
in with many of my own concerns... Under Margaret Thatcher, he was | :12:40. | :12:45.
health minister, a trade and industry minister does, a show | :12:45. | :12:48.
short security minister. John Major made him leader of the Commons. He | :12:48. | :12:56.
was popular with leaders and opponents. He was the more | :12:56. | :13:00.
acceptable face of the Thatcher government. Tony Newton was a | :13:00. | :13:04.
decent man. He was utterly genuine in his dealings with you. He was | :13:04. | :13:09.
interested in what you have to say. He had a good sense of humour, | :13:09. | :13:13.
engaged with you directly, you didn't feel that there was any site | :13:13. | :13:19.
to Tony. What you saw was what you got. He became MP for Braintree in | :13:19. | :13:24.
1974. After losing his seat, he still took a great interest in | :13:24. | :13:28.
local issues, sitting on the board of local health trusts and becoming | :13:28. | :13:35.
involved with the hospice movement. This afternoon, his death was | :13:35. | :13:39.
announced in the House of Lords, a life dominated by public service | :13:39. | :13:42.
right until the end. Essex police have apologised after | :13:43. | :13:44.
an officer posted comments on Facebook apparently mocking | :13:45. | :13:49.
Falklands War veteran Simon Weston. Mr Weston, who suffered 46% burns | :13:49. | :13:52.
in 1982, said the remarks were in "poor judgement and poor taste". | :13:52. | :14:01.
The officer has not been named. The opening stage of the Tour of | :14:01. | :14:04.
Britain 2012 will see cyclists from around the world race from Ipswich | :14:04. | :14:07.
to the outskirts of Norwich. The stage, known as the Grand Depart, | :14:07. | :14:10.
will set off from the Ipswich Waterfront, Suffolk, on September | :14:10. | :14:12.
the 9th. Riders will travel through Woodbridge, Aldeburgh, Leiston and | :14:12. | :14:15.
Lowestoft before crossing the Norfolk boundary and finishing at | :14:15. | :14:20.
the Norfolk Showground. It will be the third consecutive year the tour | :14:20. | :14:28.
has visited the two counties. Football now, and Norwich's win in | :14:28. | :14:30.
Premier League at the weekend means they're all but guaranteed another | :14:30. | :14:32.
season in the top flight. Here's Phil. | :14:32. | :14:35.
Yes, most fans probably felt their Premier League status was pretty | :14:35. | :14:38.
secure before Saturday, but this is the moment any fears were put to | :14:38. | :14:42.
bed: Grant Holt's penalty secured bed: Grant Holt's penalty secured | :14:42. | :14:45.
their 2-1 win against Wolves. It's taken Norwich to 39 points for the | :14:45. | :14:48.
season. 40 points is historically the safety mark but the likelihood | :14:48. | :14:52.
is they're safe. The Canaries are 11th. They now have a 14-point | :14:52. | :15:01.
cushion over the drop zone with eight games to play. | :15:01. | :15:06.
The Norwich manager said reaching 39 points after Saturday's result | :15:06. | :15:10.
was an incredible statistic, but it was not easy getting there. The | :15:10. | :15:16.
Premier League's bottom side walls went ahead early on, celebrations | :15:16. | :15:23.
were short lived thanks to Grant Holt who drew Norwich level just 84 | :15:23. | :15:27.
seconds after they fell behind. The turning point came just before the | :15:27. | :15:35.
break. Was that a handball? Surely it was a handball! Yes, it was. | :15:35. | :15:41.
Norwich have been derailed a penalty. But they called hat trick | :15:41. | :15:46.
was not meant to be. This goal resulted in a second yellow. | :15:46. | :15:52.
With the penalty stealing the points for Norwich City, the the | :15:52. | :15:55.
Canaries on and 19 points better off than they were last time they | :15:55. | :15:59.
were in the top flight, but are they guaranteed safety? It is not | :16:00. | :16:02.
guaranteed until the end of the season, but I think we are almost | :16:02. | :16:08.
there. Well and truly secure. are wonderful and I have never had | :16:08. | :16:12.
any doubts that Norwich would not stay up. It is great to get the | :16:12. | :16:22.
:16:22. | :16:24. | ||
three points today. I don't know. I'm not so sure, it was it first | :16:24. | :16:27.
time for everyone in this position. The lads have been absolutely | :16:27. | :16:33.
brilliant. As for safety, Grant Holt's goals have once again proved | :16:33. | :16:38.
him valuable. His firepower perhaps boosted by his newly awardee place | :16:38. | :16:42.
in the Norwich City Hall of fame. In the Championship, Ipswich looked | :16:42. | :16:45.
like their good form would continue when Jay Emmanuel Thomas put them | :16:45. | :16:48.
in front at Watford. But two second-half goals for the hosts, | :16:48. | :16:52.
put an end to Town's five-game unbeaten run. The 2-1 defeat leaves | :16:52. | :17:00.
them 15th in the table. They obviously quite direct and we could | :17:00. | :17:07.
not do it. The pressure they put us under, they did not even create the | :17:07. | :17:09.
goals. In League One, Colchester United | :17:09. | :17:12.
remain six points off the play-offs after their 1-1 draw with Carlisle. | :17:12. | :17:15.
Martin Rowlands got the U's in front after a nice 1-2 with Steven | :17:15. | :17:18.
Gillespie. But the visitors found an equaliser midway through the | :17:18. | :17:27.
second half to share the points. Good football from us. You have to | :17:27. | :17:31.
be patient to open it up, but 15 minutes after that belonged to | :17:31. | :17:34.
Carlisle and they found an equaliser so that was disappointing. | :17:34. | :17:38.
Now just over a month ago, Southend looked nailed on for promotion, top | :17:38. | :17:41.
of League Two after 31 games. Fast forward five weeks, and viewing | :17:41. | :17:44.
isn't so good: now down to 5th, winning just two of their last | :17:44. | :17:52.
eight games. On Saturday, things got worse. Bristol Rovers scored | :17:52. | :17:56.
from the spot four minutes from time to win the game 1-0. The club | :17:56. | :17:59.
have confirmed Mark Phillips is fine. He was taken to hospital | :17:59. | :18:08.
There are match reports and more reaction to all those games on the | :18:08. | :18:18.

BBC Sport website: Research into autism funded by a | :18:28. | :18:31.
businessman from Benfleet in Essex could lead to a much simpler way of | :18:31. | :18:36.
diagnosing the condition. The work carried out in Sweden has found | :18:36. | :18:39.
that people with autism have a fragment of protein in the blood | :18:39. | :18:42.
called a peptide. It means one day a simple blood test could be | :18:42. | :18:52.

Just to make sure it was not stuck or anything. Nine-year-old Jamie | :19:01. | :19:04.
Davies is thought to have Asperger's syndrome, but despite | :19:04. | :19:08.
tests and he has never been diagnosed. It has been a long | :19:08. | :19:13.
struggle to get diagnosis. If there was a diagnosis, we might get more | :19:13. | :19:18.
help to help him at home. parents wish there was a simple | :19:18. | :19:22.
test, but now research in Sweden, funded by this Essex businessman, | :19:22. | :19:27.
has found what is known as a marker in the blood, a small piece of | :19:27. | :19:33.
protein called a peptide that is prominent in autistic children. | :19:33. | :19:39.
has cost me over 200,000 a year. I hope to God that this is what | :19:39. | :19:45.
everyone is looking for. I hope that this is a stepping-stone in | :19:45. | :19:53.
finding the cure for autism. found a specific marker that is | :19:53. | :19:58.
highly enriched in patients with autism. They all turned out to come | :19:58. | :20:04.
from the same protein, a protein called complement c three. In the | :20:04. | :20:08.
long run, I think we could come up with a diagnostic test that could | :20:08. | :20:14.
be used for screening in children with new a psychotic -- | :20:14. | :20:18.
neuropsychological disorders. man has Asperger's syndrome and was | :20:18. | :20:23.
only diagnosed at 28 after paying to see a clinical psychologist. | :20:23. | :20:32.
there was a blood test, it would be very clear cut. It affects a lot of | :20:32. | :20:36.
people and our statistics would be more accurate. At the moment, the | :20:36. | :20:40.
diagnosis of porters and is purely behavioural be defined and that | :20:40. | :20:45.
cannot be applied until children of three or four years old. Are we | :20:45. | :20:49.
know that the earlier behavioural therapy commences, be more | :20:49. | :20:53.
effective it is forced up having access to that therapy at a younger | :20:53. | :20:57.
age would help children like Jamie. Now the goal is to develop a simple | :20:57. | :21:02.
blood test that would be available in hospitals. Scientists are | :21:02. | :21:06.
optimistic they may have discovered an easier way to diagnose autism. | :21:06. | :21:10.
And if you want more information on that research, you can go to | :21:10. | :21:19.
www.autismbiodiagnostic.com. That will keep you all the information | :21:19. | :21:22.
that you need. The manager of Southend United has | :21:22. | :21:24.
spoken out about his battle with Parkinson's Disease. Paul Sturrock | :21:24. | :21:27.
told our sister programme Late Kick Off that while he was diagnosed 12 | :21:27. | :21:31.
years ago, he kept it quiet for eight years. | :21:31. | :21:34.
One thing is clear: it hasn't stopped him doing his job with a | :21:34. | :21:37.
great deal of success. He's been in charge at four different clubs | :21:37. | :21:40.
which have won promotion, and number five with Southend is firmly | :21:40. | :21:50.
:21:50. | :21:52. | ||
in his sights. He has been the boss of for two | :21:52. | :21:58.
seasons. He is -- he still has a spring in his step. Quick to crack | :21:58. | :22:05.
a joke, share a smile, but this jovial exterior masks a steely | :22:05. | :22:10.
determination to succeed. When I got here, heads were low at the | :22:10. | :22:14.
time. There were nine players at the first training session. It was | :22:14. | :22:20.
a challenge. It is not the only challenge he has based. I thought | :22:20. | :22:26.
it was an appropriate time to disclose the disability thing that | :22:26. | :22:32.
I have Parkinson's disease. He had kept it quiet for a number of years. | :22:32. | :22:37.
Only the club doctors knew, and my coaching staff of his three. Family | :22:37. | :22:43.
and a few friends as well. You ask yourselves -- yourself if it | :22:43. | :22:47.
affects you getting a job, it probably has in the past, but it | :22:47. | :22:53.
has never affected me that much. Did his illness deter you from | :22:53. | :22:58.
appointing him at all? It was a consideration. We did a lot of | :22:58. | :23:02.
investigation before we interviewed him. We were satisfied that his | :23:02. | :23:07.
illness had been stable for a number of years. People look at | :23:07. | :23:17.
Muhammad Ali and that is severe Parkinson's, but I'm OK so I feel | :23:17. | :23:22.
confident I can do the job. Paul at last to manage football clubs, the | :23:22. | :23:26.
task of building teams to win promotion drives him on. Who knows | :23:26. | :23:31.
how far he will take Southend? You can see that report in full in | :23:31. | :23:41.

Late Kick Off a bit later tonight Let's get the weather forecast now | :23:43. | :23:47.
forced up if you like sunshine, I know people are desperate for rain, | :23:47. | :23:51.
but take a look at these pictures. It was unbroken sunshine across | :23:51. | :23:55.
most of the region today for most of the day. It is hard to believe | :23:55. | :24:00.
that we are actually only at the end of March. It looks like these | :24:00. | :24:03.
are the pictures I should be showing you in June or July. A word | :24:03. | :24:09.
of warning, the sun is strong so there is a medium risk of sunburn | :24:09. | :24:12.
so were slapping on a bit of sun cream if you were heading for the | :24:12. | :24:16.
ice-cream. And what temperatures did we reach? The highest | :24:17. | :24:22.
temperature recorded today was a 19 degrees. I know Barcelona and | :24:22. | :24:25.
Tenerife are slightly out of our region, but it is interesting that | :24:25. | :24:31.
some parts of our area where warmer than bits of Spain and the Canary | :24:31. | :24:36.
Islands. It is more of the same tomorrow. Tonight, largely clear | :24:36. | :24:41.
skies, some patchy mist and cello fog developing, but nothing | :24:41. | :24:46.
widespread. Under clear skies, very light winds, we are looking at | :24:46. | :24:49.
temperatures inland as low as freezing. Last night at the end of | :24:49. | :24:55.
the night, it fell as low as-two so a chilly night after a warm day for | :24:55. | :25:00.
most people. Very light winds. Tomorrow, high pressure over the | :25:00. | :25:05.
top of us again so it is a repeat performance. Any mist and fog will | :25:05. | :25:10.
quickly -- quickly fear and we are looking at a lot of sunshine. | :25:10. | :25:15.
Temperatures again inland will respond to that sunshine and are | :25:15. | :25:19.
said to reach about 18 or 19 degrees. It will take us into the | :25:19. | :25:23.
mid- 60s Fahrenheit. Like today, temperatures on the coast will not | :25:23. | :25:27.
be as high, but when you consider that the average is around 10 | :25:27. | :25:32.
degrees, we are not doing badly. The wind will be light and variable. | :25:32. | :25:36.
Plenty more unbroken sunshine during tomorrow afternoon. Those | :25:36. | :25:40.
sunny skies not as continuing tomorrow afternoon, but into | :25:40. | :25:45.
Wednesday as well. In the best of the sunshine, we could reach 21, | :25:45. | :25:50.
which is 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Thursday and Friday are looking | :25:50. | :25:54.
cloudy as there is a weak front pushing through. The temperatures | :25:54. | :25:58.
will come down, and then Saturday could shock the system after the | :25:58. | :26:06.
one temperatures: Much more clowned around. -- cloud around. At a bit | :26:06. | :26:14.
of drizzle as well. These are the Just a quick word to say well done | :26:14. | :26:16.
to everybody who helped raise so much money for Sport Relief. | :26:16. | :26:21. |
