Good evening, I'm Jenny Kirk. Three police forces have been involved in

a major operation at Meppershall in Bedfordshire today dealing with a

rave which one officer estilated attracted between 1,500 and 2,0 0

people. It is early afternoon and pdople are

still leaving the party which has been going on half a mile away. As

the ravers depart the intercepted by a large contingent of lease. Sniffer

dogs check cars for drugs. The venue is a large barn. At this st`ge the

police tactic is to wait and let those inside leave. ?100,000 worth

of damage has been caused. We have recovered a quantity of drugs.

Officers invented one bar `` one van from reaching the site but others

A nine`month`old baby boy escaped unharmed from a car crash in Essex

in which a man was killed and three others seriously injured. The child

was in this red Ford Fiesta. A 20`year`old male passenger died at

the scene and the 18`year`old female driver is critical in hospital.

And the same stretch of road is closed at the moment due to another

serious crash this afternoon. Both carriageways of the A1114 in Great

Baddow are expected to be shut for the next few hours after two cars

crashed. Both drivers have serious injuries.

A man has been charged with drink driving after a four car collision

which injured a taxi driver in Norwich. A VW Golf crashed hnto a

marked police car in Castle Meadows and hit three other vehicles on the

Prince of Wales Road, including two taxis, during the early hours of

Saturday. A 21`year`old man has been charged with five other offdnces

including dangerous driving. UKIP's Euro MP for the East, Stuart

Agnew, has refused to explahn his party's policies because he fears

they'll be stolen. During an interview on the BBC's

Sunday Politics he was unwilling to give details, despite repeated

questioning. Mr Agnew explahned he was reluctant to explain UKHP's

policies so far ahead of thd general election.

I am not going to talk about the general election policy bec`use we

are holding that back. We do not want our policy is stolen. We are

concerned about that happenhng. We want to produce a general election

manifesto that is short and to the point. We want the chance to discuss

those over the next few months. We are not talking about that `t the
