Another death from barbecue fumes. A woman dies in a tent while on | :00:07. | :00:11.
holiday. The rest of her family are found unconscious alongside her. | :00:11. | :00:15.
Also on the programme: Demonstrators take to the streets | :00:15. | :00:20.
over a killer's conviction. Claims that one punch should not have led | :00:20. | :00:26.
to a murder verdict. The clue is in the skyline - what a | :00:26. | :00:30.
city panorama tells us about the state of Yorkshire's economy. | :00:30. | :00:33.
It's brightened up nicely to end the day. There will be more | :00:33. | :00:36.
sunshine on offer during the day tomorrow. I will have the full | :00:36. | :00:46.
:00:46. | :00:50. | ||
Welcome to the programme. A husband today paid tribute to his wife | :00:50. | :00:56.
after she became the second woman from our region to fall victim to | :00:56. | :01:01.
fumes from a smouldering barbecue which had been brought inside her | :01:01. | :01:05.
tent. Last month Hazel Woodhams died in similar circumstances in | :01:05. | :01:13.
Norfolk. This time, tragedy has struck a family in North Wales. | :01:13. | :01:17.
Tracy Screen was found dead alongside her two unconscious | :01:17. | :01:21.
children and her husband in the tent. The children and their father | :01:21. | :01:28.
are expected to be released from hospital very soon. Nicola Rees is | :01:28. | :01:32.
at Bakewell. This is a camping exhibition. The type of place that | :01:32. | :01:38.
you might go to buy a new tent. These sorts of places are popping | :01:38. | :01:42.
up all around Yorkshire as more people choose to holiday at home. | :01:42. | :01:47.
That is what Tracy Screen decided to do when she and her husband went | :01:47. | :01:57.
up to a really scenic part of North Wales. Sadly, that summer holiday | :01:57. | :02:00.
ended in tragedy when Tracy Screen was found dead yesterday. It seems | :02:00. | :02:05.
for the second time in as many months something as simple as a | :02:05. | :02:12.
barbecue could be to blame. Police arrive at the campsite | :02:12. | :02:16.
yesterday morning. It was here that the body of Tracy Screen was | :02:16. | :02:22.
discovered in a tent. The 34-year- old was pronounced dead at the | :02:22. | :02:26.
scene while her husband and two children were taken to hospital. | :02:27. | :02:29.
Their condition is said to be comfortable. A barbecue was found | :02:29. | :02:33.
close to the tent and police say initial indications are that the | :02:33. | :02:38.
family was overcome by fumes. the moment, we are not treating the | :02:38. | :02:42.
matter as suspicious. We are treating it as an unexplained death. | :02:42. | :02:47.
It is too early to give a clear indication of what caused this lady | :02:47. | :02:52.
to pass away. What makes it worse, the family were on holiday, to | :02:52. | :02:57.
enjoy themselves, and this tragedy hits them. It can happen any time, | :02:57. | :03:02.
any place. You can't be too careful. This particular site is well run. | :03:02. | :03:06.
It is a family-run affair. The standards of safety are very high | :03:06. | :03:10.
here. The owners were too distressed to | :03:10. | :03:13.
be interviewed. A postmortem examination has been carried out | :03:13. | :03:18.
and an inquest has been opened and adjourned. In Chesterfield Tracy | :03:18. | :03:22.
Screen's friend has received a statement from the family. It is | :03:22. | :03:29.
from her husband. It says she was a loving and caring wife. Two amazing | :03:29. | :03:32.
children have now got to come to terms with this horrific accident. | :03:32. | :03:38.
She was a friend to many people and will be deeply missed by all. | :03:38. | :03:42.
the second camping holiday to end in tragedy in as many months. In | :03:42. | :03:47.
July, the body of Hazel Woodhams was also discovered in a tent on | :03:47. | :03:55.
this campsite in Norfolk. It is thought she died from carbon | :03:55. | :03:57.
monoxide poisoning. As investigations now continue into | :03:57. | :04:03.
the latest death of Tracy Screen, campers are being advised to take | :04:03. | :04:09.
extra care when using disposable barbecues. | :04:09. | :04:12.
Other holiday-makers did say the family took the barbecue into their | :04:12. | :04:16.
tent as a way of keeping warm. The police haven't confirmed that | :04:16. | :04:19.
element but they have said the barbecue found close to the tent | :04:20. | :04:24.
will form part of their investigation. The father and the | :04:24. | :04:27.
two children are said to be in a comfortable condition in hospital | :04:27. | :04:30.
and expected to be released very soon. | :04:30. | :04:35.
Thank you. Such a tragic loss. Earlier I spoke to Iain Geddes from | :04:35. | :04:39.
the Camping and Caravanning Club. I asked him how common these | :04:39. | :04:42.
incidents were. Thankfully, it is very uncommon. There are hundreds | :04:42. | :04:46.
of thousands of people camping right now and we seem to have a | :04:46. | :04:50.
spate of a few deaths that seem to have been attributed to this | :04:50. | :04:54.
happening. We don't know the details of how and why this has | :04:54. | :04:58.
happened. There must be basic safety rules that we should all | :04:58. | :05:02.
adopt? I took the liberty before I came in to have a look in a | :05:02. | :05:06.
supermarket to see what the safety instructions are. They all say for | :05:06. | :05:11.
outdoor use only. That is the crux of it. They are outdoor products. | :05:11. | :05:14.
If you are in a position where the weather is inclement, people will | :05:14. | :05:20.
take them nearer the tent, but never take them inside. I suppose | :05:20. | :05:25.
that is the point. If you take what you might think are dying embers | :05:25. | :05:30.
inside a tent or wherever, they are still giving off toxic fumes? | :05:30. | :05:33.
That's right. They are still burning. They will be consuming | :05:33. | :05:40.
oxygen. As it is burning in a very uncontrolled manner, it will be | :05:40. | :05:45.
giving off carbon monoxide. Your organisation looks after hundreds | :05:45. | :05:50.
of campsites. Is there anything you can do to make people aware of | :05:50. | :05:53.
these dangers? We have information on the web and other things. You | :05:53. | :05:58.
can call me on the helpline for any help on that matter. There is more | :05:58. | :06:02.
to it. We are working on getting more information out there that | :06:02. | :06:06.
will be made available in due course. It is something - it hasn't | :06:06. | :06:10.
happened very much in the past. We have seen an unusual spike here. | :06:10. | :06:15.
Are we talking about first time campers who are not as experienced | :06:15. | :06:19.
as they should be? There is a possibility of that. Camping is on | :06:19. | :06:25.
the increase. There's possibly people trying it that haven't had | :06:25. | :06:29.
the benefit of being brought up by parents that have done camping | :06:29. | :06:33.
themselves. We need to be there to support them. Thank you. | :06:34. | :06:37.
Dozens of protesters took to the streets of Sheffield claiming that | :06:37. | :06:42.
a former boxer was innocent of murder. 20-year-old Bradley Hinkler | :06:42. | :06:46.
was convicted after he punched a man outside a bar last year and he | :06:46. | :06:51.
died of his injuries. Around 100 supporters marched with Hinkler's | :06:51. | :06:59.
family this morning calling for that verdict to be overturned. | :06:59. | :07:03.
A noisy protest in support of a convicted murderer, but Bradley | :07:03. | :07:09.
Hinkler's family and friends say he never intended to kill anyone. | :07:09. | :07:15.
he's done is wrong. It is not murder. He's getting tarnished a | :07:15. | :07:19.
murderer. You look at Yorkshire Ripper, they are murderers, | :07:19. | :07:25.
Bradley's been out on a night out, pub fight, and it's the wrong | :07:25. | :07:31.
verdict. Thomas Gower died a week after being assaulted last December. | :07:32. | :07:35.
Everyone accepts that was the result of a single punch thrown by | :07:35. | :07:42.
Bradley Hinkler. The police say he chased after him and hit him for no | :07:42. | :07:45.
reason. His mother and friends say he was acting in self-defence. | :07:45. | :07:49.
jury have got it wrong. He is not a murderer. It is not a murder charge. | :07:49. | :07:53.
He was defending himself. He is not a murderer. He is our family. | :07:53. | :07:57.
People out there need to know that. He is not no killer. He didn't go | :07:57. | :08:03.
out to intentionally kill anybody. He wanted to defend himself. | :08:03. | :08:07.
Bradley Hinkler was found guilty of murder last week and is waiting to | :08:07. | :08:10.
be sentenced. His family believe a manslaughter charge would be more | :08:10. | :08:15.
appropriate. They are sensitive to the feelings of Thomas Gower's | :08:15. | :08:21.
family. We are deeply sorry for Thomas Gower's family. I know that | :08:21. | :08:27.
words will never fetch him back. Our words are genuine. Bradley | :08:27. | :08:31.
Hinkler will find out next week how long he will spend in prison. His | :08:31. | :08:38.
family are already planning an appeal. | :08:38. | :08:44.
Later on Look North: Promoting the game created here in Yorkshire. A | :08:44. | :08:51.
new national rugby league magazine is launched. | :08:51. | :08:55.
Children as young as 12 will be left open to grooming by sex | :08:56. | :09:01.
perverts if Government cuts leave Yorkshire charity short staffed. | :09:01. | :09:03.
The Coalition for the Removal of Pimping which works to help | :09:03. | :09:07.
families whose daughters have been lured into drugs and prostitution | :09:07. | :09:12.
say they are to lose two keyworkers and that means they can't cope with | :09:12. | :09:15.
the growing demand for their service. Charlotte Leeming has been | :09:15. | :09:19.
to meet one woman whose daughter was lured from the streets of | :09:19. | :09:24.
Yorkshire by a stranger. This woman's daughter was 13 when | :09:24. | :09:28.
she was groomed by a gang of men in West Yorkshire. They befriended her | :09:28. | :09:33.
and made her feel special. But then the sexual exploitation began. She | :09:33. | :09:38.
was kept as a prisoner in a flat and raped. I just noticed a decline | :09:38. | :09:42.
in her health. She was very unhappy and totally cut off from the family. | :09:42. | :09:47.
It wasn't just one group of men, it was a few. They befriend young | :09:47. | :09:51.
people, let them drive around in their cars, pretend to be their | :09:51. | :09:55.
boyfriends. They gave her drugs I think to knock her out. She got | :09:55. | :09:59.
that off her head. I don't think she was aware of what was going on. | :09:59. | :10:06.
She was a totally different child. I knew with her self-harming it was | :10:06. | :10:12.
a cry for help. There are no official statistics on how many | :10:12. | :10:18.
children are the victims of child exploitation in Yorkshire. Hundreds | :10:18. | :10:24.
of families affected by the problem have turned to the staff here, the | :10:24. | :10:27.
Coalition for the Removal of Pimping, or CROP, was set up in | :10:27. | :10:33.
Leeds in 1996. It is a little known charity with a 12-strong workforce. | :10:33. | :10:36.
It's provided support to people across the UK. Until last year, it | :10:36. | :10:39.
received Government funding, but this year that was cut and that | :10:39. | :10:43.
means they will have to lose two members of staff. I dread to think | :10:43. | :10:48.
if I didn't get the help from CROP, it was just excellent. The support | :10:48. | :10:52.
of everyone. The warmth and the understanding. People judge and at | :10:52. | :10:57.
CROP they don't. Her daughter is now 16 and due to start college | :10:57. | :11:00.
next month. The conviction rate for this type of crime is low and not | :11:00. | :11:08.
all cases have a happy ending. How does it feel that the men are still | :11:08. | :11:13.
out there on the street? It makes me feel angry and frustrated. They | :11:13. | :11:16.
are just moving to the next girl. They are laughing in everybody's | :11:16. | :11:22.
face, the police, parents, everyone. They are just getting away with it. | :11:22. | :11:30.
In the studio now is Rachel Loise who works for CROP. That story was | :11:30. | :11:35.
of a 13-year-old girl. You are talking about your new information | :11:35. | :11:40.
that grooming is beginning younger? That's right. We always are on the | :11:40. | :11:46.
look out for trends. We are seeing a lot more grooming through social | :11:46. | :11:50.
networking sites, specifically targeting children as young as nine | :11:50. | :11:55.
and up to 11. So I'm hoping all families will take the opportunity | :11:55. | :11:59.
to learn more about how to protect their children online. There is a | :11:59. | :12:07.
very good website called Think You Know. This is awful. Nine-years-old. | :12:07. | :12:12.
It is. You are dealing with more and more cases. Yet you are being | :12:12. | :12:16.
stretched because of cuts, but then we have had a statement from the | :12:16. | :12:19.
Department of Education who says not everyone can receive funding? | :12:19. | :12:22.
That's right. This is the first time in nine years that we haven't | :12:22. | :12:28.
received any Government funding. It's putting an awful pressure on a | :12:28. | :12:32.
small specialist charity who has got a highly skilled team working | :12:32. | :12:38.
with families who are desperate to protect their own children. We are | :12:38. | :12:42.
seeing this nationally, that many services are being cut and of | :12:42. | :12:47.
course we are almost the cheap end of the statutory sector. We are | :12:47. | :12:52.
highly specialist but we don't cost as much and it's going to cost the | :12:52. | :12:59.
Government a lot more trying to mop up the devastation that's caused by | :12:59. | :13:03.
having children affected by exploitation from such a very young | :13:03. | :13:05.
age. I remember when your organisation was started, it was | :13:05. | :13:10.
started after the murder of a girl in South Yorkshire by her mother | :13:10. | :13:14.
because she had no-one to turn to. Sometimes the families whose | :13:14. | :13:17.
daughters they know are being groomed have no-one to talk to, you | :13:17. | :13:22.
are that organisation? That's right. Parents feel desperate and don't | :13:22. | :13:27.
know which way to turn. They often go firstly to children's social | :13:27. | :13:32.
care or to the police, but unless we get more training in those | :13:32. | :13:36.
sectors, very often it is a patchy response. It is only really where | :13:36. | :13:41.
you get a specialist multi-agency team that's working together for | :13:41. | :13:46.
the benefit of the young people and goes to the parents who can give | :13:46. | :13:51.
the information to locate the perpetrators. Thank you very much. | :13:51. | :13:55.
More news now. The former head of Morrisons has been fined 210,000 | :13:56. | :14:00.
for failing to disclose the fact that he had sold most of his shares | :14:00. | :14:04.
in the chain. Sir Ken Morrison spent 50 years at the helm of the | :14:04. | :14:09.
Bradford-based business. After he stepped down in 2008 he sold most | :14:09. | :14:13.
of his shares. He should have revealed this. But they didn't find | :14:13. | :14:17.
out until three years later. The Government today confirmed that | :14:18. | :14:23.
rail fares in West Yorkshire will go up by 10% next year. Look | :14:23. | :14:26.
North's revealed earlier this month the increase will be triggered by a | :14:26. | :14:30.
deal to lease extra carriages to ease overcrowding. Elsewhere the | :14:30. | :14:34.
increase will be around 8%. West Yorkshire Police are asking | :14:34. | :14:37.
for help identifying people wanted in connection with last week's | :14:37. | :14:43.
disorder in Chapeltown. These CCTV images were taken on Reginald | :14:43. | :14:46.
Terrace at 11.30pm last Tuesday. Police saying one person can be | :14:46. | :14:50.
seen throwing bricks. The trouble started after Gavin Clarke was shot | :14:50. | :14:55.
in the face. He died on Friday. A 23-year-old man appeared in court | :14:55. | :15:01.
charged with his murder this morning. | :15:01. | :15:06.
Just about everyone agrees the immediate future of construction in | :15:06. | :15:11.
Yorkshire is pretty bleak. Public sector schemes to build houses, | :15:11. | :15:15.
schools and hospitals are simply drying up as the cuts begin to bite. | :15:15. | :15:17.
With the latest unemployment figures out tomorrow, there are | :15:18. | :15:25.
growing fears that we will see an increase in the jobless totals. | :15:25. | :15:30.
Here is a sight you don't often see - Leeds skyline with not a tower | :15:30. | :15:33.
crane to be seen. It is a clear indication the construction | :15:33. | :15:38.
industry is going through tough times. Here is a public project | :15:38. | :15:47.
that is going ahead, a new building for Kirk lease College. -- Kirklees | :15:47. | :15:52.
College. It is Government cuts that's dried up. We have not got an | :15:52. | :15:56.
Olympics in the North. We haven't got anything like that. We have | :15:56. | :16:01.
schools, colleges, the police stations, that was our work. That's | :16:01. | :16:06.
now gone. So how tough is it? One survey asks building surveyors who | :16:06. | :16:12.
has been happening to them. 19% more said there were less public | :16:12. | :16:16.
sector housing work available while 36% said there were fewer major | :16:16. | :16:20.
public projects like schools and hospitals. The problem is, the | :16:20. | :16:27.
private sector has not been taking up the slack. 10% more said there | :16:27. | :16:33.
was less private housing available. 0% said there were no more and no | :16:33. | :16:37.
less major commercial contracts available. It adds up to a | :16:37. | :16:40.
miserable time for many construction companies and their | :16:40. | :16:43.
workers. Even the experts agree, there is little sign of any light | :16:43. | :16:48.
at the end of the tunnel. The only light will come if the Government | :16:48. | :16:51.
starts changing policy and start looking for opportunities to | :16:51. | :16:55.
improve services rather than looking for opportunities to reduce | :16:55. | :16:58.
the spend on them. When that Government policy change will | :16:58. | :17:02.
happen is very difficult to say. The Government insists the spending | :17:02. | :17:05.
cuts are necessary but they come at a price. Tomorrow's unemployment | :17:05. | :17:14.
figures may be a guide to the price Yorkshire is having to pay. | :17:14. | :17:19.
Does this evidence about a huge dip in public sector activity amount to | :17:19. | :17:23.
a vindication for the Conservative- led coalition or its Labour | :17:24. | :17:27.
critics? Our Westminster studio we have Shipley's Conservative MP | :17:27. | :17:32.
Philip Davies. Here in our studio is the TUC's Yorkshire Secretary | :17:32. | :17:37.
Bill Adams. Bill, how important is the construction industry for | :17:37. | :17:41.
Yorkshire? What do these figures signify? Well, it is a very | :17:41. | :17:44.
important sector. We have got thousands of people working in that | :17:44. | :17:50.
sector and thousands of people now unemployed. What we have seen is a | :17:50. | :17:54.
huge cutback in Government spending in terms of new projects. We have | :17:54. | :17:58.
local authority cutbacks biting now and in the next three or four years. | :17:58. | :18:02.
That leads to a huge loss of confidence in the sector. What will | :18:02. | :18:07.
that legacy be in the future? will be a drag on recovery, I think. | :18:07. | :18:13.
People will be looking for work. What's happening is that there's | :18:13. | :18:20.
competitive tendering on what work is available. That is driving down | :18:20. | :18:27.
profits. People can't get money from the banks. Again, we are | :18:27. | :18:32.
dropping behind London and the South East in terms of our region. | :18:32. | :18:35.
Let's ask Philip Davies now - isn't there evidence that we are cutting | :18:35. | :18:39.
much too quickly here? At least in the North public spending has | :18:39. | :18:44.
always been more important. Are you ignoring that, the Government? | :18:44. | :18:47.
public spend willing be higher this year than it is last year. This | :18:47. | :18:50.
idea that there is some severe cut is just a myth. We have to | :18:50. | :18:55.
recognise the fact that this year the Government will be borrowing | :18:55. | :18:59.
150 billion. That is almost 500 million every single day and we are | :18:59. | :19:04.
spending about 150 million a day in debt interest payments. We can't | :19:04. | :19:14.
:19:14. | :19:15. | ||
keep going on spending money as if it is going out of fashion. All the | :19:15. | :19:17.
money has been spent on the Olympics. We haven't got the | :19:17. | :19:23.
Olympics here in the North. The statistics suggest that it is all | :19:23. | :19:26.
slowing down? You can't blame this Government for hosting the Olympics. | :19:26. | :19:30.
That was bid for a number of years ago. That's been in the pipeline. | :19:30. | :19:35.
We can all argue about the cost. I'm concerned about that, too. The | :19:35. | :19:38.
construction is going through a difficult time at the moment. We | :19:38. | :19:41.
all know that. It can't rely on the Government spending money it | :19:41. | :19:45.
doesn't have in order to keep it going. We have to rebalance the | :19:45. | :19:49.
economy. We have to get the private sector going in the long run | :19:49. | :19:52.
because otherwise, we are going to end up with bigger debts than we | :19:52. | :19:57.
have at the moment. You have heard that comment, Bill. What would you | :19:58. | :20:04.
say, very briefly, will be the legacy unless we get construction | :20:04. | :20:09.
working again? A further unbalance of the economy towards the South | :20:10. | :20:16.
which leaves the northern regions lagging behind. Sometimes public | :20:16. | :20:19.
spending is an asset because it invests in your economy to get | :20:19. | :20:24.
things going. It is not always a cost to the public. Thank you very | :20:24. | :20:28.
much. I'm wondering if this is a sign of | :20:28. | :20:33.
the times. It is an iconic set of buildings. It was sold six years | :20:33. | :20:37.
ago and everyone was very confident it would become a major new | :20:37. | :20:45.
development in York. Terry's chocolate factory remains locked up | :20:45. | :20:51.
and empty. The buildings have been attacked by vandals. 90,000 race- | :20:51. | :20:55.
goers will see its dilapidation when they come to the Ebor meeting | :20:55. | :20:59.
this week. It's a landmark building that's | :20:59. | :21:04.
been part of York's skyline for a century. Take a closer look and the | :21:04. | :21:09.
recent past is all too obvious. The listed buildings are deteriorating | :21:09. | :21:16.
after standing empty since 2005. It's in stark contrast to its smart | :21:16. | :21:21.
neighbour. York Racecourse plays host to 90,000 race-goers this week. | :21:21. | :21:25.
Vandalism on the doorstep isn't a great welcome. It is important that | :21:25. | :21:31.
we don't see the site deteriorate. It is in nobody's interest. The | :21:31. | :21:35.
developers, the council, and the local community, local residents, | :21:35. | :21:39.
to see the site fall into disrepair and become derelict. | :21:39. | :21:43.
refurbishment of an old office block shows what the buildings | :21:43. | :21:47.
could become. It's slow progress. It is six years since the factory | :21:47. | :21:53.
closed. Eight months later, it was sold for 26 million. The first | :21:53. | :21:58.
redevelopment plan was thrown out by York Council in 2008. New plans | :21:58. | :22:04.
were submitted in 2009 and approved in 2010. So, 18 months on, where | :22:04. | :22:09.
are we now? Well, we asked the developers for a comment on the | :22:09. | :22:13.
state of the site. We were told both company directors were away | :22:13. | :22:18.
and couldn't be contacted for at least the next few weeks. We were | :22:18. | :22:22.
also told that no-one else from the company could talk to us. It's all | :22:22. | :22:27.
a far cry from the glory days when royalty visited and hundreds worked | :22:27. | :22:31.
here. The redevelopment with its planned hotels, houses and | :22:31. | :22:34.
businesses could provide much- needed jobs in York. But these are | :22:34. | :22:40.
difficult days for developers. What the council doesn't want to see is | :22:40. | :22:44.
stalled plans and further dereliction. | :22:44. | :22:51.
Now, rugby league fans have a new magazine devoted to their sport. It | :22:51. | :22:57.
is written and designed at a house that's on the edge of Keighley. | :22:57. | :23:01.
Despite its humble base, there are high hopes that Forty-20 will prove | :23:01. | :23:05.
to be popular among league fans around the world. Phil Caplan is | :23:05. | :23:11.
the managing editor of the new magazine. We have to say it's a | :23:11. | :23:15.
dodgy time to introduce a new concept? It is brave, bold, | :23:15. | :23:19.
probably innovative, like the sport itself. What I like about it - and | :23:19. | :23:23.
I will read rugby league till the cows come home - it does embrace | :23:23. | :23:29.
its heritage which I do like. Is that the definite thing you had, | :23:29. | :23:35.
that you had a definite theme? comes out of a book house that we | :23:35. | :23:42.
set up in February 2000. Our strapline on that is "treasure the | :23:42. | :23:48.
old, embrace the new". If you think about this country during the | :23:48. | :23:52.
summer, we have had 190 clubs playing in three countries at | :23:52. | :23:57.
community level over all age ranges. Nationally, we have 45 nations | :23:57. | :24:03.
playing the sport. How much is it? 2.95. Cheaper than a club | :24:03. | :24:09.
programme. Is it worth it? Sell me it in 20 seconds? That is not for | :24:09. | :24:15.
me to say. It is. You write it! is worth every penny! The truth is, | :24:15. | :24:20.
it's not match reports. It's not letters pages. It is features. It | :24:20. | :24:28.
is hopefully quality writing. have you done so far? It takes | :24:28. | :24:32.
three months for the ABC ratings to come through. It is nice that a | :24:32. | :24:36.
national supermarket chain has taken us on. We have been impressed | :24:36. | :24:43.
with the number of subscribers. me ask you - it is 2.95. Do you do | :24:43. | :24:50.
it in your back bedroom? Not at all. It's printed at a huge printing | :24:50. | :24:56.
works. It is a Yorkshire-based product. It is all done | :24:56. | :24:59.
electronically. We wish you well. The Ebor Festival starts tomorrow. | :24:59. | :25:05.
One horse that I wouldn't fancy backing is this one. It could taste | :25:05. | :25:11.
rather nice! Let's have a look at this. It is made entirely of | :25:12. | :25:18.
Yorkshire produce. That is a cabbage leaf. It's got rhubarb. | :25:18. | :25:23.
Beetroot from Bradford. Mushrooms from Thirsk. The sculpture has been | :25:23. | :25:30.
crafted by the hospitality team at York Racecourse. It reminds race- | :25:30. | :25:34.
goers of its commitment to home- grown grub. That was a Yorkshire | :25:34. | :25:44.
:25:44. | :25:44. | ||
pudding! Let's move on to the Let's look at tonight's photos. We | :25:44. | :25:51.
have had some sunshine. This first one is of Whitby Abbey. Thank you. | :25:51. | :25:58.
A beautiful afternoon in the Peak District. Finally, a sunset over | :25:58. | :26:05.
Halifax. Keep your photos coming in. So we will start off with a look | :26:05. | :26:12.
for the cricket and Scarborough starting tomorrow. It will be dry | :26:12. | :26:17.
tomorrow. Thursday we might catch a few showers. Elsewhere, it will be | :26:17. | :26:21.
fine and dry tomorrow. It will be a beautiful day. The weather fronts | :26:21. | :26:24.
will stay away from us. Tomorrow will be a dry and a fine day for | :26:24. | :26:28.
all of us. You can see on the satellite picture, we have had | :26:28. | :26:35.
plenty of sunshine throughout this afternoon. We are still looking at | :26:35. | :26:41.
a few showers. We will see the skies clearing so by the end of the | :26:41. | :26:47.
night a cool night. Temperatures down to 8 Celsius over the Dales. | :26:47. | :26:52.
So looking at the sun times, it rises tomorrow morning at 5.48, | :26:52. | :26:56.
setting again at 8.31pm. So tomorrow it will be a fine start to | :26:56. | :27:00.
the day. Dry with plenty of sunshine, clear blue skies for most | :27:00. | :27:04.
of us. As we go through the morning, little will change. We will start | :27:04. | :27:08.
to see cloud starting to increase. The cloud will remain broken. There | :27:08. | :27:13.
will be further spells of sunshine, staying dry for all of us. The wind | :27:13. | :27:18.
is coming down from the north so it will feel coolest towards the coast. | :27:18. | :27:26.
For the racing in York, 20 degrees. 18 or 19 towards the Pennines. So | :27:26. | :27:34. |
