A reminder of the day's main story... The | :00:00. | :00:00.
Getting together to remember Jo Cox, as plans are unveiled | :00:07. | :00:11.
for a Yorkshire-wide party on the anniversary of her murder. | :00:12. | :00:14.
We need to continue the stuff that Jo started locally. | :00:15. | :00:16.
And something like the Great Get Together is a great | :00:17. | :00:18.
We hear from Jo's family about plans for hundreds of street parties, | :00:19. | :00:23.
Hand them in - police in West Yorkshire hold a weapons | :00:24. | :00:28.
amnesty after a dramatic rise in knife and gun crime. | :00:29. | :00:36.
A single mum of four from Shipley scoops the ?14 million | :00:37. | :00:39.
And the Yorkshire bowling legend, bowing out after a 20-year innings. | :00:40. | :00:56.
Well, all eyes on Storm Doris over the next 24 hours. | :00:57. | :00:59.
There's an amber warning in place, but where will | :01:00. | :01:01.
The widower of murdered West Yorkshire MP Jo Cox says | :01:02. | :01:20.
the huge weekend of events planned for June to mark the anniversary | :01:21. | :01:23.
of her killing will carry forward his wife's legacy of love, | :01:24. | :01:26.
What's being called the Great Get Together | :01:27. | :01:31.
will feature hundreds of street parties, picnics and barbecues | :01:32. | :01:33.
across Yorkshire and the rest of the country to remember | :01:34. | :01:36.
the much-loved MP, who was shot dead in her Batley constituency | :01:37. | :01:41.
Our correspondent John Cundy reports. | :01:42. | :01:47.
Those who knew Jo Cox say she loved a party. | :01:48. | :01:50.
And if the launch of the Great Get Together is anything | :01:51. | :01:52.
to go by, the weekend of June the 17th and 18th | :01:53. | :01:55.
Jo had this huge energy, this vitality, this love, | :01:56. | :02:02.
and we didn't want the anniversary to be | :02:03. | :02:04.
We wanted it to actually be celebratory, about | :02:05. | :02:08.
And we also wanted it to bring the community together. | :02:09. | :02:12.
Her killing was designed to divide us, and we could think of no better | :02:13. | :02:15.
response to that than actually a huge act of national unity. | :02:16. | :02:19.
The outpouring of grief by the community, at the time | :02:20. | :02:22.
of Jo's fatal shooting in Birstall last summer. | :02:23. | :02:26.
It was testament to just how much loved the MP and young mother was. | :02:27. | :02:31.
In fact, it is a gathering of typically independent, | :02:32. | :02:36.
no-nonsense, proud Yorkshire towns and villages. | :02:37. | :02:38.
And now, to celebrate all that Jo held dear, | :02:39. | :02:40.
in community togetherness, the launch at one of Jo's | :02:41. | :02:43.
favourite Indian restaurants of the Great Get Together, | :02:44. | :02:45.
Right across Yorkshire, friends, neighbours, | :02:46. | :02:48.
and even, until now, strangers, are being invited to come outdoors | :02:49. | :02:52.
to celebrate the kind of togetherness Jo promoted. | :02:53. | :02:56.
Her family and friends say she would have been thrilled | :02:57. | :03:01.
at the idea of the Great Get Together. | :03:02. | :03:04.
It would be what she would have wanted to achieve. | :03:05. | :03:07.
To get the whole community, the whole constituency coming together. | :03:08. | :03:11.
We have got much more in common than what divides us. | :03:12. | :03:17.
The same theme picked up by the Prime Minister | :03:18. | :03:19.
As we face this future together, we do stand in momentous | :03:20. | :03:24.
times for this country, and I do think it's important | :03:25. | :03:27.
that we remember that being united makes us strong. | :03:28. | :03:30.
That we should recognise the things that unite us | :03:31. | :03:34.
as a country and as a people, the bonds that we share together. | :03:35. | :03:37.
Add I think this is a very fitting tribute to our late colleague. | :03:38. | :03:41.
For the devoted mum, the caring MP that graced the Commons' | :03:42. | :03:45.
benches all too briefly, June will be the perfect | :03:46. | :03:49.
time to remember Jo Cox, a year after she lost her life | :03:50. | :03:53.
Well, after the launch of the Great Get Together campaign, | :03:54. | :04:03.
You know what this is, it's like a hug-athon. | :04:04. | :04:09.
Well, it is a hug-athon, which is always a good thing. | :04:10. | :04:14.
We've gathered people together to discuss our plans | :04:15. | :04:16.
for the Great Get Together, which is going to be a celebration | :04:17. | :04:20.
of bringing communities together, on the weeked of the 17th | :04:21. | :04:25.
It was, obviously, quite difficult for us to decide how we would do | :04:26. | :04:32.
But, I've spoken to Brendan, Jo's husband, and spoken to my parents, | :04:33. | :04:39.
and we decided as a family that we needed to do something | :04:40. | :04:45.
to bring people together and make it as positive a weekend as possible. | :04:46. | :04:48.
I've had to make some very difficult decisions in the past eight months. | :04:49. | :04:52.
And I think the reality for me is, it's not an option | :04:53. | :04:56.
What I also don't want to do is end up in a world of self-pity, | :04:57. | :05:06.
because I know it's the last thing Jo would want. | :05:07. | :05:10.
So what I can choose to do is make something positive out of this | :05:11. | :05:14.
horrendous situation, and I feel a duty that we need to | :05:15. | :05:17.
And something like the Great Get Together is a great | :05:18. | :05:23.
You must have felt the love yourself, the respect | :05:24. | :05:26.
that Jo and Brendan, the whole family have. | :05:27. | :05:30.
Has that been the spur to make you do something extraordinary? | :05:31. | :05:34.
The people that I have met in the past eight months, | :05:35. | :05:39.
and the way the community and the country have rallied | :05:40. | :05:43.
round us and supported us as a family, it's unbelievable. | :05:44. | :05:47.
When you have your dark moments and your dark days, | :05:48. | :05:51.
That's why having such a positive things like this to organise and be | :05:52. | :06:00.
involved in and get excited about is wonderful, | :06:01. | :06:02.
You can almost feel the presence of Jo here. | :06:03. | :06:05.
Which she have said, Sister, calm down... | :06:06. | :06:10.
You know what, it she wouldn't have said that at all. | :06:11. | :06:16.
I know you've always got a choice, but for me, when a think about Jo, | :06:17. | :06:31.
And this is the way I have to continue. | :06:32. | :06:36.
And that might change in the future, you don't know what's | :06:37. | :06:38.
round the corner, but now, I've got Jo on my shoulder, | :06:39. | :06:41.
I never really thought that before, because growing up, | :06:42. | :06:52.
Extremely close, but quite different personalities. | :06:53. | :06:54.
And I think we've got more alike as we've got older. | :06:55. | :06:57.
If you haven't met this lady before, she's like a tornado. | :06:58. | :07:02.
I've just done an interview now, and am going to have a lie down. | :07:03. | :07:10.
And think Yorkshire will do her proud. | :07:11. | :07:20.
There's been a big increase in the number of people found | :07:21. | :07:22.
carrying offensive weapons in West Yorkshire, | :07:23. | :07:24.
and a rise in the number of guns being fired. | :07:25. | :07:26.
So today, police launched a weapons amnesty, | :07:27. | :07:28.
giving people the chance to hand in guns and knives | :07:29. | :07:30.
Our home affairs correspondent Spencer Stokes is here | :07:31. | :07:33.
In 2014, there were 672 offences of people found carrying offensive | :07:34. | :07:39.
By 2016, that figure had risen to 1317 - | :07:40. | :07:47.
West Yorkshire Police say that's partly down | :07:48. | :07:52.
But there's also been a big rise in the numbers of guns | :07:53. | :07:57.
In 2014, the figure was 18 discharges. | :07:58. | :08:01.
It's prompted West Yorkshire Police to hold a ten-day amnesty | :08:02. | :08:09.
with aim of getting weapons - both guns and knives - | :08:10. | :08:13.
Some of the weapons seized by West Yorkshire Police, | :08:14. | :08:19.
on display at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. | :08:20. | :08:24.
It's a haul the force hopes will grow in the coming days, | :08:25. | :08:27.
as they encourage people to hand in guns and knives at eight police | :08:28. | :08:30.
Gun crime has risen in West Yorkshire, and Chris Wright | :08:31. | :08:34.
has experienced the consequences at first hand. | :08:35. | :08:38.
He was shot in the stomach in a case of mistaken identity. | :08:39. | :08:41.
I went to answer the door, as it was just opening, | :08:42. | :08:43.
there was somebody behind there with a gun, who, | :08:44. | :08:47.
within a split second, had shot me from a distance | :08:48. | :08:49.
That was the start of a chain of events that had quite | :08:50. | :08:55.
In the past weeks, there has been two notable killings. | :08:56. | :09:01.
The shooting of 19-year-old Raheem Wilkes in Harehills in Leeds, | :09:02. | :09:07.
and the stabbing of 16-year-old Irfan Wahid in the same area. | :09:08. | :09:12.
The number of people found carrying offensive weapons is up, | :09:13. | :09:15.
and more of those weapons are being discharged. | :09:16. | :09:19.
There has been a notable increase over the last 12 months, | :09:20. | :09:21.
The worry is, that trend continues, you see those discharge figures | :09:22. | :09:27.
continue to rise next year and the year after. | :09:28. | :09:30.
That's a real worry for us, and that's why we're having | :09:31. | :09:33.
this weapons surrender, to try and get any weaponry, | :09:34. | :09:35.
any firearms, any knives, off the streets and into the police, | :09:36. | :09:38.
and then we can dispose of them very safely. | :09:39. | :09:40.
We've got eight police stations that are part of this surrender. | :09:41. | :09:43.
They're on our website, people can turn up and leave | :09:44. | :09:46.
their weapons at the front desk, effectively, and then | :09:47. | :09:50.
It's not just criminals who are being targeted. | :09:51. | :09:54.
West Yorkshire Police also want to recover heritage weapons, | :09:55. | :09:58.
guns and knives that've been inherited could now be illegal. | :09:59. | :10:02.
And, potentially, in the future, may fall into the wrong hands. | :10:03. | :10:10.
Similar amnesties have recovered more than 200 illegal weapons. | :10:11. | :10:12.
The appeal for guns and knives will run for the next ten days, | :10:13. | :10:15.
and could go some way to reversing the number of guns being | :10:16. | :10:18.
Council tax in Leeds is to go up by almost 5%. | :10:19. | :10:29.
The City Council agreed its budget after a five-hour | :10:30. | :10:32.
The rise means council tax bills for those living in a typical family | :10:33. | :10:38.
There'll also be cuts to services to help the council make savings | :10:39. | :10:44.
A large fire at a farm in Doncaster is thought | :10:45. | :10:49.
to have been started deliberately, investigators say. | :10:50. | :10:51.
16,000 bales of hay caught fire at the farm | :10:52. | :10:54.
The blaze is now under control, but firefighters say they will have | :10:55. | :11:00.
to stay there for up to a week to make sure it's safe. | :11:01. | :11:04.
An online funding campaign has begun to try to save the Northern Dalesman | :11:05. | :11:08.
bus service, which travels through some of the most picturesque | :11:09. | :11:10.
The service featured on a BBC documentary last summer, | :11:11. | :11:16.
which was watched by almost a million people. | :11:17. | :11:18.
But the Yorkshire Dales Society says it will only be able to run again | :11:19. | :11:21.
this year if enough money can be raised. | :11:22. | :11:23.
So far, ?440 has been donated towards a ?3000 target. | :11:24. | :11:31.
The Terriers defeat promotion rivals Reading to make it | :11:32. | :11:36.
The Home Office says it won't grant extra powers | :11:37. | :11:48.
to South Yorkshire Police to ban EDL protests in Rotherham. | :11:49. | :11:52.
Another protest is planned this weekend - it'll be | :11:53. | :11:54.
South Yorkshire's Police and Crime Commissioner had asked | :11:55. | :11:59.
the Government to review police powers so repeated | :12:00. | :12:01.
He asked that question over a year ago, but has never heard back. | :12:02. | :12:07.
Normal shopping, people getting on with their Wednesday. | :12:08. | :12:14.
Traders are so worried about it, the police and the council tried | :12:15. | :12:24.
to get the Home Office to ban repeated matches. | :12:25. | :12:29.
This will be the 17th protest in Rotherham | :12:30. | :12:35.
The police and council think it's cost ?4 million. | :12:36. | :12:39.
What they don't know is how much it's cost businesses. | :12:40. | :12:41.
Some of the town centre businesses have told | :12:42. | :12:43.
us they're down 70%, their takings, on the protest days, | :12:44. | :12:46.
People know, it's a relatively small town centre in Rotherham, | :12:47. | :12:50.
some other businesses have been hard pressed, | :12:51. | :12:53.
we're doing to do a lot of things to help with that, and this | :12:54. | :12:56.
The Home Office say the laws on protests are kept | :12:57. | :12:59.
under ongoing review, and that the Police Commissioner's | :13:00. | :13:01.
ideas to curb repeated marchers were considered. | :13:02. | :13:05.
But it seems there will be no change in the law. | :13:06. | :13:08.
The Home Office didn't even tell South Yorkshire that they'd looked | :13:09. | :13:12.
Some of the victims and survivors of CSE themselves are also saying | :13:13. | :13:18.
they don't want these people coming to their town. | :13:19. | :13:21.
That's a very important thing to note as well, | :13:22. | :13:24.
the very people they claim they're trying do something for are saying, | :13:25. | :13:28.
don't come, it's our town it's ruining the centre | :13:29. | :13:35.
You've got to be careful to make sure you're not | :13:36. | :13:39.
accused of banning free speech, of course? | :13:40. | :13:47.
No-one wants to give a power to anybody, whether it's a local | :13:48. | :13:50.
authority or police force or a Home Secretary, | :13:51. | :13:52.
that might stop the sort of protests that you might want to go on. | :13:53. | :13:55.
Whether you're a trade unionist, a church group or whatever. | :13:56. | :13:57.
So we had to be very careful in how this was worded. | :13:58. | :14:00.
The EDL says it's coming to Rotherham to protest | :14:01. | :14:02.
about the council and the police's handling of | :14:03. | :14:04.
They and other groups have been before, and Rotherham says it | :14:05. | :14:08.
doesn't have any power to stop them coming again and again. | :14:09. | :14:16.
Now here's a story which might make you green with envy. | :14:17. | :14:18.
A mum of four has won the Euro Millions jackpot. | :14:19. | :14:21.
37-year-old Beverley Doran from Shipley won ?14.5 million | :14:22. | :14:24.
She's going to buy a house and a holiday home, and says she'll | :14:25. | :14:34.
There's some flash photography in Heidi Tomlinson's report. | :14:35. | :14:43.
Is this the luckiest woman ever? She's won the lottery twice in a | :14:44. | :14:53.
week. First time, ?50, sexting time, 14.5 million. Heavily Dahlin rents a | :14:54. | :15:00.
council property in Shipley, and lives with her four children, having | :15:01. | :15:04.
separated from husband last year. She's never owned her own high, and | :15:05. | :15:10.
ultimately turn ?123 per week. I can sell you how I feel, it's | :15:11. | :15:15.
going round in my head. I've gone from nothing to multi-millionaire. | :15:16. | :15:23.
Beverly's on her own tonight, but microchip has four children to share | :15:24. | :15:27.
this with, the oldest is 17. He asked for a ?3 million cut of her | :15:28. | :15:35.
when. When she said no, he said he'd settle for a new phone. She told her | :15:36. | :15:40.
oldest son first. I went in NZ I've won the | :15:41. | :15:47.
EuroMillions. I was on the floor, crying, shaking. | :15:48. | :15:50.
So we've established this isn't a hoax, what are you going to do with | :15:51. | :15:54.
the money? The first thing I thought was, only | :15:55. | :15:57.
to get a bigger house for my children. The rest alerts is it's | :15:58. | :16:02.
endless. Are you concerned about the | :16:03. | :16:04.
attention this kind of wealth could ring? | :16:05. | :16:09.
Of course I am. That's why I wanted to go public, I didn't want there to | :16:10. | :16:14.
be rumours, I needed to get my story out. I did it to protect me and my | :16:15. | :16:20.
children. And once it's out, it's out. Of course, there are going to | :16:21. | :16:24.
be people who are malicious, and people out there who are going to be | :16:25. | :16:26.
happy for me. The money will be paid tomorrow, so | :16:27. | :16:32.
to celebrate a friend lent her ?1000 for a weekend's shopping in | :16:33. | :16:35.
Harrogate. Even after the thousand pounds, I | :16:36. | :16:41.
said I'm done now, I'm shopped out, I can do it any more! | :16:42. | :16:46.
The full-time on now has two train herself to have expensive tastes. | :16:47. | :16:50.
She won't be taking champagne though, she's allergic to that. | :16:51. | :16:54.
Herself retreat bowl, a sparkling apple juice. | :16:55. | :17:00.
I don't believe it was sparkling apple juice at! And the friend who | :17:01. | :17:08.
lent ?1000, do you charged interest? 1 million back, maybe? | :17:09. | :17:11.
You could buy a football club. Football now, and Huddersfield Town | :17:12. | :17:13.
moved back to within four points of the automatic promotion places | :17:14. | :17:16.
in the Championship, while Sheffield Wednesday missed out | :17:17. | :17:18.
on the chance of moving In League 1, Chesterfield claimed | :17:19. | :17:20.
a useful point away at Millwall Professional football is no | :17:21. | :17:24.
different from the playground - everyone wants to score - | :17:25. | :17:29.
so when Izzy Brown won a penalty for Huddersfield Town, | :17:30. | :17:32.
he wanted to take it, but his manager chose | :17:33. | :17:35.
Rajiv van La Parra to step up, and it was saved by | :17:36. | :17:38.
the Reading keeper. But after sustained pressure, | :17:39. | :17:41.
Huddersfield's number eight, Philip Billing, struck eight | :17:42. | :17:44.
minutes from time. The Terriers have now won 11 out | :17:45. | :17:48.
of their past 13 league matches. Meanwhile, contrasting | :17:49. | :17:52.
emotions at Hillsborough. Harlee Dean then made it | :17:53. | :17:55.
2-0 to the away side. Forestieri curled one | :17:56. | :18:00.
in for Wednesday in stoppage time, but too late for the Owls | :18:01. | :18:07.
to find an equaliser. In League 1, Chesterfield managed | :18:08. | :18:12.
to keep Millwall out to earn a useful point, | :18:13. | :18:14.
but the Spirites are still six Kell Brook's next fight | :18:15. | :18:17.
could be held at the home of the football team he supports, | :18:18. | :18:26.
Sheffield United. Brook is currently at a training | :18:27. | :18:28.
camp in Fuerteventura, preparing for a fight | :18:29. | :18:30.
with undefeated American, He'll return to the welterweight | :18:31. | :18:33.
division to defend his IBF title. Brook's promoter is hoping | :18:34. | :18:39.
to arrange for the fight to be There's a real desire | :18:40. | :18:42.
from Sheffield United to host this big fight, | :18:43. | :18:46.
and definitely a big desire from us and Kell Brook to go | :18:47. | :18:49.
and do it at Bramall Lane. It's just a case of getting | :18:50. | :18:52.
the maximum capacity, We're going to be speaking | :18:53. | :18:54.
to the council, of course, making sure everything's safe, | :18:55. | :18:58.
making sure all the routines and boxes are checked and ticked | :18:59. | :19:01.
to make sure we can go in there, get as many people there | :19:02. | :19:06.
as possible, and just put on That will be quite a night. | :19:07. | :19:08.
It will, will you go along? One of Yorkshire's longest-serving | :19:09. | :19:20.
and best known cricketers has Bowler Ryan Sidebottom will be | :19:21. | :19:23.
calling it a day at the end We'll be talking to Ryan | :19:24. | :19:26.
in a moment, but first let's have a quick look at some of the key | :19:27. | :19:30.
facts and figures of Born in Huddersfield, Ryan | :19:31. | :19:44.
Sidebottom first joined Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1997. He's | :19:45. | :19:50.
won five County Championship titles, three of them with Yorkshire. | :19:51. | :19:54.
Sidebottom again, it comes to him, Davis! Yorkshire are the county | :19:55. | :20:00.
champions! Yeah played 22 Test matches England, | :20:01. | :20:06.
taking 79 wickets. In 2010, who is part of a national team that won the | :20:07. | :20:10.
2012 World Cup in the West Indies. And so far, he's taken one in 1000 | :20:11. | :20:16.
wickets in a career that's lasted 20 years. | :20:17. | :20:21.
Ryan, how is it looking at that? I hope you don't mind me saying, | :20:22. | :20:28.
you're 39, but yeah said you never felt fitter, why are you retiring | :20:29. | :20:33.
now? I am humbled and privilege to play | :20:34. | :20:38.
20 years. It's always been a gold to play that length of time. ? When | :20:39. | :20:43.
it's the time, how do you know? I want to go out on a high, I want to | :20:44. | :20:48.
go out on my terms. I've been fortunate to play for that time and | :20:49. | :20:54.
I'm hoping to go out in style, hopefully this will be the year we | :20:55. | :20:59.
can win myself aware for Yorkshire. Looking back every year career, | :21:00. | :21:02.
could you pick out any particular moments as a highlight? | :21:03. | :21:07.
I grew up wanting to play for Yorkshire, then get my first county | :21:08. | :21:12.
cap and represent my country. To do all those three things, coming back | :21:13. | :21:17.
to Yorkshire again, winning two more championships, mixing with this | :21:18. | :21:24.
great group of players, it's been an absolute pleasure, I've enjoyed | :21:25. | :21:28.
every minute. Everyone says you have highs and lows as a sports person, | :21:29. | :21:33.
but I wouldn't say I've had many lows. I've really enjoyed what're | :21:34. | :21:38.
done. You're nicknamed the Gentle Giant, | :21:39. | :21:42.
you're and emotional guy, how will it feel bowling that last a lotto? | :21:43. | :21:53.
The lads will probably less as I told the lead yesterday, just after | :21:54. | :22:00.
training, I had it all plans out what I was going to say, I just | :22:01. | :22:04.
welled up and I was gone, I forgot everything. It will be emotional, | :22:05. | :22:09.
but I'm looking forward to this season. We're got unfinished | :22:10. | :22:13.
business, this group of players, we came close last year in all formats. | :22:14. | :22:17.
The lads are very driven and determined to go better and win a | :22:18. | :22:22.
trophy for Yorkshire. Can ask about your influences? How | :22:23. | :22:28.
much of a role did your dad play? Your dad played football for | :22:29. | :22:31.
Manchester United and Huddersfield. But he was also a first class | :22:32. | :22:37.
cricketer too? That's quite unusual? I suppose he inspired me to want to | :22:38. | :22:41.
take up both sports. I was bit of a donkey at football, so I was never | :22:42. | :22:45.
going to make it there! He guided me towards cricket. It helped in the | :22:46. | :22:51.
sense that people criticise me because of who I was, my dad, that | :22:52. | :22:56.
nepotism, it made me more determined to prove people wrong, and I had a | :22:57. | :23:02.
lot of help and advice and support. But generally, he's a nervous wreck, | :23:03. | :23:09.
he would come to every game and watch. | :23:10. | :23:12.
Away from cricket, you do a bit of coaching for young kids. I also read | :23:13. | :23:16.
somewhere that you might be tempted once you've tied to do a bit of | :23:17. | :23:19.
strict they come dancing, could you go into show business? | :23:20. | :23:26.
I really enjoy the show, I've got to two left feet, but I really enjoy | :23:27. | :23:32.
it. If they ever came calling, I'd have to consider it. I'm focus on | :23:33. | :23:35.
the season first and foremost, to help the club, contribute and try | :23:36. | :23:39.
and win things. Briefly, a DSS the current crop of | :23:40. | :23:45.
young players coming through at Yorkshire at the moment? -- how do | :23:46. | :23:49.
you assess? We've had an embarrassment of | :23:50. | :23:54.
riches, now we have many young players coming through, some | :23:55. | :24:00.
talented players. You're just passing on your experience, helping | :24:01. | :24:04.
them learn what it takes to be a professional and play first-class | :24:05. | :24:08.
cricket. They're absolutely outstanding. Exciting times for | :24:09. | :24:13.
Yorkshire, and you look at what Joe Root has achieved an Jonny Bairstow. | :24:14. | :24:17.
We wish you well, thank you for coming in. | :24:18. | :24:23.
We'll missed that amazing hair! What shampoo do you use? | :24:24. | :24:25.
Piddle shampoo! -- poodle shampoo! Now the worst storm of the winter | :24:26. | :24:32.
is set to batter parts The Met Office is warning that | :24:33. | :24:35.
Storm Doris will bring gale-force The track is going to be searched | :24:36. | :24:49.
that it'll be the north Midlands at most risk. The difference this time | :24:50. | :24:53.
is that it's not just the expose higher ground. Europe we had higher | :24:54. | :24:59.
grounds expose, but this is more low-level areas. It will be during | :25:00. | :25:05.
the afternoon, so potentially destructive. | :25:06. | :25:08.
Hat-trick users to predict? The trajectory can change? | :25:09. | :25:15.
It is developing out and Islands, it develops there, there's all to play | :25:16. | :25:20.
for. Adam and it looks like it's southern parts of the region. More | :25:21. | :25:25.
details and minutes, just a few pictures that are coming over the | :25:26. | :25:30.
last 24 hours, its Euro note, do we have the first picture? There we | :25:31. | :25:36.
are, looking very nice. The second picture has come in from another | :25:37. | :25:43.
lovely part of the world. If you have any pictures, send it to me. | :25:44. | :25:51.
Let me show you the warning area. This is where we think the highest | :25:52. | :25:56.
winds will track. Quite a wide area, but we're focusing more on South | :25:57. | :26:00.
Yorkshire, into the north Midlands, 80mph as possible. 70mph across West | :26:01. | :26:06.
Yorkshire is possible too. The track may change a little bit. I will show | :26:07. | :26:12.
you where the storm will be in the morning, wet as well, but look at | :26:13. | :26:17.
how strong it will be. When it goes through the southwest to west, north | :26:18. | :26:22.
west, early afternoon, we could see problems, destruction to power | :26:23. | :26:26.
lines, that type of thing. But we show hanging at the moment. This | :26:27. | :26:31.
storm is out of the north west of Ireland, fairly innocuous at the | :26:32. | :26:35.
time. The wind is easing at the moment. This is the warm front | :26:36. | :26:39.
associated with Storm dollars, will make for a wet nights, perhaps just | :26:40. | :26:44.
a little bit of wintry stuff across high ground. Temperatures down to | :26:45. | :26:51.
five Celsius. The sun rises in the morning at 7:09am, tomorrow will be | :26:52. | :27:00.
cloudy with showers, long outbreaks of rain. The wind strengthening by | :27:01. | :27:05.
the end of the morning. A south westerly gale, then switching around | :27:06. | :27:10.
to the west, northwest, that is when the damaging wind could occur. It is | :27:11. | :27:16.
going to be pretty windy for north as well, some of that rain turning | :27:17. | :27:23.
wintry over the highest ground. The temperatures in the morning peaking | :27:24. | :27:29.
at ten, dropping off through the course of the afternoon. Quieter on | :27:30. | :27:33.
Friday afternoon, dry with sunshine, not too bad a weekend to come. I'll | :27:34. | :27:39.
be on Facebook live in ten minutes, and I'll trite and so all your | :27:40. | :27:43.
questions about the weather. And maybe cricket? Thank you for | :27:44. | :27:46.
watching, have a good Good job, guys. | :27:47. | :27:53.
We totally nailed it. This year, fundraising kits are | :27:54. | :27:55.
going to be sent through the post. | :27:56. | :28:00. |
