Welcome to North West Tonight. Our top story: Jailed for six years | :00:08. | :00:13.
- the groom who burned down his historic wedding venue just hours | :00:13. | :00:17.
after getting married. The judge says it is a miracle that | :00:17. | :00:22.
nobody was killed. Also tonight: A Cumbrian village | :00:22. | :00:29.
welcomes the release of a mother by her Somali kidnappers. | :00:29. | :00:32.
There's 130 million for the region's railways as the Chancellor | :00:32. | :00:37.
tries to get the North West economy back on track. | :00:37. | :00:42.
Still fighting the battle - how Sport Relief is helping soldiers | :00:42. | :00:48.
beat post-traumatic stress. They will never walk alone - 6,000 | :00:48. | :00:53.
miles from the fields of Anfield Road but singing from the same hymn | :00:53. | :01:03.
:01:03. | :01:07. | ||
Good evening. Celebrations in Cumbria tonight for a woman held | :01:07. | :01:11.
hostage in Somalia and now finally released. Judith Tebbutt from | :01:11. | :01:16.
Ulverston was kidnapped in Kenya six months ago. Her husband was | :01:16. | :01:21.
killed. The couple were staying in a remote holiday resort when they | :01:21. | :01:25.
were captured last September. Judith Tebbutt reaches the British | :01:25. | :01:29.
High Commission and safety. Her first thoughts on her release? Her | :01:29. | :01:33.
husband, David, shot dead by the gang that kidnapped her. I feel | :01:33. | :01:43.
:01:43. | :01:48. | ||
extremely sad, very, very sad, indeed. He was a good man. It was | :01:49. | :01:53.
very unfortunate. Judith Tebbutt was born in Ulverston but now lives | :01:53. | :01:56.
in the South of England. Her mothers and brothers still live | :01:56. | :02:02.
here. We have been praying daily for Judith in our prayers. We have | :02:02. | :02:06.
been seeking to support the family however we can. It's been very hard, | :02:06. | :02:10.
very stressful. There has been a lot of support from the family, | :02:10. | :02:14.
from within the church community and the community of the town. | :02:14. | :02:19.
is really good news. They are a lovely family. They are so close to | :02:19. | :02:24.
each other, so they will all be elated and I am elated for them. | :02:24. | :02:29.
Judith was on holiday on a remote island near the Kenyan border with | :02:29. | :02:33.
Somalia when she was taken and her husband murdered by a gang thought | :02:33. | :02:39.
to be Somali pirates or terrorists. Attempts to secure her release | :02:39. | :02:43.
failed until it is believed a ransom was paid. The handover took | :02:43. | :02:48.
place in Somalia, a security contractor guiding her to a waiting | :02:48. | :02:58.
:02:58. | :02:58. | ||
plane. Back home, her mother said simply, "I can't wait to see her." | :02:58. | :03:03.
Elsewhere, the Bolton Wanderers club doctor says Fabrice Muamba was | :03:03. | :03:09.
"effectively dead for 7 minutes" as efforts were made to get his heart | :03:09. | :03:12.
working following his cardiac arrest. The 23-year-old remains in | :03:12. | :03:17.
intensive care. His condition is no longer described as "critical" | :03:17. | :03:21.
following his collapse. As I was running on to the pitch, | :03:21. | :03:27.
once I got there, my focus was on Fabrice. I wasn't aware that | :03:27. | :03:32.
players had gathered away. I didn't know Owen Coyle had come on. It | :03:32. | :03:37.
wasn't until 35,000 voices started singing Fabrice Muamba's name that | :03:37. | :03:43.
anything penetrated into that focus. I heard them singing. | :03:43. | :03:46.
Another incredible story - a grandfather from Rochdale, who | :03:46. | :03:51.
walked into hospital with his own severed arm, is recovering from | :03:51. | :03:56.
surgery to have the limb stitched back on. Stuart Frain had an | :03:56. | :04:01.
accident with a circular saw in his garden. The 51-year-old former | :04:01. | :04:07.
fireman picked up the arm and ran for help. Incredible. | :04:07. | :04:12.
A man who was arrested after a schoolgirl was crushed to death by | :04:12. | :04:15.
electric gates has been released without charge. Semelia Campbell | :04:15. | :04:20.
died when she became trapped at her home in Moss Side two years ago. | :04:20. | :04:24.
Two gate company employees were arrested on suspicion of | :04:24. | :04:29.
manslaughter by gross negligence. A second man has been rebailed. | :04:29. | :04:34.
Now, the coalition said it was a Budget for families and business. | :04:34. | :04:38.
Labour disagreed. They called it a Budget for millionaires by | :04:38. | :04:42.
millionaires. Here in the North East, it was all about better | :04:42. | :04:48.
connections. More money to improve rail links, more money to bring | :04:48. | :04:51.
superfast broadband to the region. We will get reaction from Jayne | :04:51. | :04:56.
Barrett in Crewe, but first here is our political editor. | :04:56. | :05:00.
Let's begin by taking a look at some of the measures the Chancellor | :05:00. | :05:03.
announced today which are specifically relevant to the North | :05:03. | :05:07.
West. He announced the improvement to rail services. He talked about | :05:07. | :05:11.
the city deal for Manchester, that is something we mentioned yesterday. | :05:11. | :05:16.
It means taxpayers' money coming back to the city. He talked about | :05:16. | :05:20.
superfast broadband for Manchester and also moves towards regional pay, | :05:20. | :05:26.
something which will be very much opposed by the unions. Let's begin | :05:26. | :05:29.
by talking about those rail services. There are three lines in | :05:29. | :05:33.
the region that are going to be upgraded. They are the Manchester | :05:33. | :05:37.
to Sheffield line, Manchester to Bradford and also Preston to | :05:37. | :05:42.
Blackpool. Quicker trains, greater capacity. I'm joined by two MPs now. | :05:42. | :05:52.
I have from the Labour Party, the MP for Eccles South and the | :05:52. | :05:57.
Conservative MP for Lancaster and Fleetwood. Those rail services, you | :05:57. | :06:01.
must be very pleased with what the Chancellor announced today? | :06:01. | :06:07.
investment in rail is very welcome for the North West. For every 1 we | :06:07. | :06:15.
get spent on the North West on transport, 20 is spent in the | :06:15. | :06:21.
South East. The difficulty for me, my constituents will be waiting at | :06:21. | :06:27.
Walton Station because we don't have the capacity. We need much | :06:27. | :06:31.
more capacity. You have brought out a report on the North/South divide. | :06:32. | :06:35.
Has what the Chancellor announced today - it is not enough to bridge | :06:35. | :06:40.
that? Everybody realises we are in difficult times. I think he's done | :06:40. | :06:48.
the best he can. The rail improvements, the fast broadband is | :06:48. | :06:52.
all to be welcomed. I think he's built on previous Budgets and | :06:52. | :06:56.
recognised the regional imbalance and trying to do what he can do in | :06:56. | :07:01.
a difficult circumstance. What will the reaction be from your | :07:01. | :07:06.
constituents? It is a Budget for millionaires with a big giveaway to | :07:06. | :07:13.
all the people who earn the greatest... It's taken five times | :07:13. | :07:19.
as much as the previous 50p tax did from the super-rich. Thank you both | :07:20. | :07:24.
very much indeed. The Budget so often is about business, but it is | :07:24. | :07:31.
about politics, too. Back to you. Yes, it is. Jayne Barrett is here | :07:32. | :07:38.
and is in Crewe tonight. How has it gone down there? Well, we are here | :07:38. | :07:41.
because we want to follow the course of this Budget and the | :07:41. | :07:47.
economy over the next 12 months from one town. We have chosen this | :07:47. | :07:52.
town. Some reaction, some fall-out to this Budget. Steven Clark is | :07:52. | :07:55.
from Transport for Greater Manchester. This big investment in | :07:55. | :08:00.
the transport hub, what will it mean for passengers? It is great | :08:00. | :08:06.
news. It will mean more services from Sheffield and Bradford into | :08:06. | :08:09.
Manchester. It is part of a larger scheme. We are keen that Government | :08:10. | :08:13.
goes a little bit further in the summer and commits to the whole of | :08:14. | :08:18.
the scheme. You wanted more money today? No, what's happened is super | :08:18. | :08:23.
news. It is a real step forward. There is a little bit more that | :08:23. | :08:27.
needs to be done. You are from the Forum for Private Business. George | :08:28. | :08:31.
Osborne said this was about benefiting business. Will it do | :08:31. | :08:33.
this? The transport infrastructure announcement in the North West are | :08:34. | :08:38.
a ray of light in what was an underwhelming Budget for small | :08:38. | :08:42.
businesses across the UK. Make no mistake, there has been an | :08:42. | :08:44.
underinvestment in transport network in the North West for a | :08:44. | :08:50.
generation, so this is positive news. We would have liked more, | :08:50. | :08:55.
significant tax incentives to boost small firms and help them drive job | :08:55. | :08:58.
creation. You got some tax breaks for the farming industry, the | :08:58. | :09:04.
gaming industry, all good news for the North West businesses? There | :09:04. | :09:07.
were some good measures and reducing the top rate of tax will | :09:08. | :09:15.
help drive inward investment. More was needed, we think, overall. | :09:15. | :09:20.
Craig Roberts, you are a small business owner. You are | :09:20. | :09:23.
underwhelmed? Very. The Government should have stepped up, admitted | :09:23. | :09:27.
they were wrong and give us some tax breaks that would make people | :09:27. | :09:33.
spend money, lower cost for hauliers, diesel, and VAT. You are | :09:33. | :09:37.
struggling with clients who aren't paying you right now. Is this the | :09:37. | :09:40.
year that things will turn around? Don't think so. Thank you. We will | :09:41. | :09:45.
have more from Crewe later. This is a big town without a big reputation. | :09:45. | :09:49.
A big town without a big department store. A big train station but | :09:49. | :09:52.
without a big destination pulling people out of the platforms and out | :09:52. | :09:56.
behind us into town. We will have more on why we are in Crewe later | :09:56. | :10:01.
in the programme. Back to you in Manchester. Thank you. | :10:01. | :10:05.
It should have been one of the happiest days of his life, but Max | :10:05. | :10:09.
Kay spent his wedding day getting drunk and threatening revenge on | :10:09. | :10:13.
the management of his wedding venue. He had fallen out with them over | :10:13. | :10:17.
the late payment of bills. So, in the dead of night, with his new | :10:17. | :10:23.
wife and family asleep upstairs, he set fire to Peckforton Castle in | :10:23. | :10:28.
Cheshire. Tonight he is beginning a six-year jail sentence and Dave | :10:28. | :10:33.
Guest has the story. He looks the typical beaming | :10:33. | :10:39.
bridegroom but Max Kay was seething with resentment. His big day at | :10:39. | :10:43.
Peckforton Castle had cost 25,000. Money he couldn't really afford. He | :10:43. | :10:47.
had been late paying the bills and was refused extra credit at the bar. | :10:47. | :10:51.
He wasn't happy. He didn't see why he couldn't have a bar tab. He | :10:52. | :10:57.
started making threats in terms of wanting to burn our homes down. | :10:57. | :11:02.
After downing a bottle-and-a-half of vodka, he set out to seek | :11:02. | :11:05.
twisted revenge. These pictures show him prowling through the | :11:05. | :11:08.
castle during the early hours of the morning. He goes into the | :11:08. | :11:13.
drawing room and sets fire to a set of drapes. His new wife and members | :11:13. | :11:18.
of his family are asleep upstairs. It was a reckless act. It was only | :11:18. | :11:21.
through the good training of the staff in the hotel that so many | :11:21. | :11:28.
people escaped uninjured. There was over 100 people who escaped. Kay's | :11:28. | :11:32.
fire-raising cost the hotel almost 5.5 million in repairs and lost | :11:32. | :11:37.
business. We have had many a difficulty to overcome. We have got | :11:37. | :11:43.
over all of those. None quite as difficult as Max Kay. He admitted | :11:43. | :11:46.
arson. Today he arrived at Chester Crown Court for sentencing in a | :11:46. | :11:49.
prison van knowing he will be leaving in one. The judge told him | :11:49. | :11:54.
all of this had come about as a result of his own ego. He had | :11:55. | :12:00.
arranged a wedding that he couldn't afford to put up a front to family | :12:00. | :12:05.
and friends. He then developed a misplaced feeling of grievance and | :12:05. | :12:09.
decided to seek revenge. The castle has been repaired and the owners | :12:09. | :12:15.
are looking to the future. Max Kay is looking at the next six years | :12:15. | :12:22.
behind bars. Still to come: Tony is live on a | :12:22. | :12:27.
big night in the Premier League. Yes, I'm at Manchester City where | :12:27. | :12:30.
some people say the title race could be decided tonight. They need | :12:30. | :12:34.
to beat Chelsea to stay in touch with Manchester United. With Carlos | :12:34. | :12:42.
Tevez on the bench, things are warming up nicely. Join me later. | :12:42. | :12:52.
:12:52. | :12:53. | ||
The happy couple choosing red rather than white for their big day. | :12:53. | :12:58.
Now, the money you raise for Sport Relief funds charities which help | :12:58. | :13:03.
many people. Neil Blower joined the tank regiment as a 17-year-old. He | :13:03. | :13:10.
served in Kosovo and Iraq. After leaving the Army he was diagnosed | :13:10. | :13:15.
with post-traumatic stress disorder. He has found support from Combat | :13:15. | :13:25.
:13:25. | :13:31. | ||
I joined the Army when I was 17, straight from school. I joined the | :13:31. | :13:38.
Royal Tank Regiment and in 2003, I took part in our name for the | :13:38. | :13:48.
:13:48. | :13:48. | ||
invasion of Iraq, which was a war. The air strikes started and the | :13:48. | :13:53.
Scud missile warnings were coming through. This is getting a bit real | :13:53. | :13:59.
now. And then we lost a comrade in my unit. I was 20. It was a very | :13:59. | :14:04.
profound experience. I do think that the young kids that went | :14:04. | :14:12.
didn't come back. I left the Army in 2005. I was diagnosed with PTSD | :14:12. | :14:17.
and then I didn't do anything about it. Six years later, I picked up | :14:17. | :14:22.
the phone to Combat Stress. PTSD takes you to some very dark places. | :14:22. | :14:25.
And being in an environment where every guy and girl in the room is | :14:25. | :14:29.
in exactly the same position as you, knows exactly what you are going | :14:30. | :14:34.
through and can relate to you without having to say anything, it | :14:34. | :14:41.
is just a very therapeutic thing and, for me, it helps a lot. My | :14:41. | :14:47.
situation with the PTSD has got 110% better. Some of the great work | :14:47. | :14:51.
done by Sport Relief thanks to your efforts. It is Sport Relief Miles | :14:51. | :14:57.
this weekend. A big one in Manchester. Lots of them all around | :14:57. | :15:03.
the region. There's the website. | :15:03. | :15:07.
Go the extra mile.Ly be going the extra 50-something tomorrow. | :15:07. | :15:12.
have your legs in Lycra? I have. Let's go back to Crewe. Jayne is | :15:12. | :15:16.
there as you can see. Jayne, you have been gauging reaction to the | :15:16. | :15:20.
Budget. You were going to explain why it is you have chosen Crewe to | :15:20. | :15:27.
follow? Yes, if you are sat at home saying, "Why Crewe?" It is because | :15:27. | :15:32.
Crewe is a kind of average town. Lots of different indicators and | :15:32. | :15:39.
statistics, it ranks fairly average. There are those who will say Crewe | :15:39. | :15:43.
should be so much more than average. It is a big year for Crewe. We want | :15:43. | :15:47.
to see the fall-out of this recession and the course of the | :15:47. | :15:50.
economy through the eyes of people who live here. Is this going to be | :15:51. | :15:55.
Crewe's year? Let me introduce you to the town. | :15:55. | :16:02.
Welcome to Crewe. In a word, a town described as... Average. Really? | :16:02. | :16:12.
:16:12. | :16:13. | ||
Average. Average town. A fair description? I'd say so. But it | :16:13. | :16:17.
shouldn't be that way. So let's take a fast train through Crewe's | :16:17. | :16:21.
history. It started with this, the arrival of the railway. Hello. | :16:21. | :16:27.
Until then, Crewe was a very pretty, very rural backwater. It is not too | :16:27. | :16:32.
long ago that the whole of Crewe looked like this place. That's | :16:32. | :16:36.
right. Geoff Pritch's granddad arrived to build the first station. | :16:36. | :16:40.
He and his father followed. Grand Central Railway built the town. | :16:40. | :16:45.
Every house was owned, all the water was supplied, the gas, the | :16:45. | :16:48.
electric tryst, all supplied by the railway company. Without the | :16:48. | :16:53.
railway, this place wouldn't be here? It wouldn't exist, no. As the | :16:53. | :17:01.
railway industry declined, other industries follow load -- followed. | :17:01. | :17:05.
Why 130 years after the railway put Crewe on the map is Crewe still the | :17:05. | :17:09.
place where you change, not the destination? You are not from these | :17:09. | :17:14.
parts? No. You are passing through? I am. Have you ever thought about | :17:14. | :17:24.
:17:24. | :17:26. | ||
venturing outside? No. Never. hasn't been enough investment. | :17:26. | :17:31.
new promise, a new plan, the local paper said it's the biggest | :17:32. | :17:37.
opportunity since Victorian times. I think people are rightly cynical. | :17:37. | :17:41.
There have been so many schemes and they have never happened. Crewe | :17:42. | :17:46.
deserves to be rightfully the head of Cheshire East. It is one of the | :17:46. | :17:49.
biggest towns in the area. isn't? Well, it should be. At the | :17:50. | :17:55.
White Lion, Geoff has dug out a poem published in 1922. 'A | :17:55. | :17:57.
traveller ponders the enigma of what, if anything lies beyond | :17:57. | :18:07.
:18:07. | :18:13. | ||
Crewe's busy platforms. childhood maddest guesses must be | :18:13. | :18:17.
true only the engines know the way to Crewe. Crewe is a fantasy of | :18:17. | :18:20.
travellers' brains, born of the night of Bradshaw and of trains. | :18:20. | :18:29.
And nothing has changed? It is probably just as well. | :18:29. | :18:35.
So not a terribly high opinion of the town even from people who were | :18:35. | :18:39.
born and bred here. Can they turn things around this year? What can | :18:39. | :18:42.
we learn from the people who live here? Laura Yates is back in the | :18:42. | :18:45.
town tomorrow and she will meet some people. This is about the | :18:45. | :18:49.
impact of the economy on the real lives of very real people. Laura | :18:49. | :18:56.
will be here with her economic trackers. We will be meeting Laura, | :18:56. | :19:00.
Joe and Chloe. They are the unemployed kids out of work, out of | :19:00. | :19:03.
luck, desperate for something to happen. Can this Budget deliver | :19:03. | :19:08.
jobs to them? We will also meet Phil, our business start-up. He has | :19:08. | :19:12.
taken the plunge becoming his own boss for the very first time. Is | :19:12. | :19:16.
there anything in the Budget for him? We will meet the Williams | :19:16. | :19:20.
family, one Budget in that household and they are desperate to | :19:20. | :19:25.
get on the housing ladder. Can anything happen for them? We will | :19:25. | :19:29.
introduce the Darlington sisters. Can they take their company global? | :19:29. | :19:39.

More tomorrow. We got the gist of that. | :19:39. | :19:44.
You got a frog in your throat?! Sport now. A big night at the | :19:44. | :19:47.
Etihad. Manchester City against Chelsea. Some say the Premier | :19:47. | :19:52.
League title is at stake. You recovered? No. Shall I carry on? | :19:52. | :19:58.
Yes. City need a win. Tony is there for us. | :19:58. | :20:03.
All eyes on this programme's one- time favourite invisible man? | :20:03. | :20:06.
Absolutely. You want the exclusive on that? I have seen the invisible | :20:06. | :20:10.
man tonight. He is here. More on him in a second. There is a real | :20:10. | :20:13.
tension around Manchester City tonight. They have won every home | :20:13. | :20:16.
game they have played this season. Tonight is not the night for that | :20:16. | :20:19.
record to go. If they beat Chelsea, they stay within a point of | :20:19. | :20:22.
Manchester United. Defeat will be unthinkable. They have been on top | :20:22. | :20:27.
of the Premier League for seven months. Also unthinkable is the | :20:27. | :20:32.
invisible man, Carlos Tevez, back on the bench. Can he influence the | :20:32. | :20:35.
game tonight? Of course he can. He has never been a fantastic | :20:35. | :20:39.
substitute. He is better when he starts games. He is raring to go. I | :20:39. | :20:43.
was speaking to people on Monday who worked closely with him, so he | :20:43. | :20:47.
is very fit. He is up for it. Roberto Mancini said he's trained | :20:47. | :20:52.
better than he has ever seen him. How crucial is this game tonight? | :20:52. | :20:56.
Can the Premier League be lost if City lose? No. We have to remember | :20:56. | :21:01.
there is a quarter of the season to go, which is a lot of football. | :21:01. | :21:06.
Manchester United's last ten games are quite palatable, they will | :21:06. | :21:11.
fancy winning most of those. If City remain four points behind, | :21:11. | :21:17.
that will begin to look like quite an obstacle. A match prediction? | :21:17. | :21:22.
City always win at home, Chelsea have flattered to deceive recently, | :21:22. | :21:26.
City will win 2-0. There is full match commentary on BBC Radio | :21:26. | :21:31.
Manchester. If you want the follow Liverpool and Arsenal, BBC Radio | :21:31. | :21:41.
:21:41. | :21:45. | ||
A quick word on Bolton Wanderers. They have confirmed that their game | :21:46. | :21:49.
against Blackburn at the weekend on Saturday will go ahead. That is | :21:49. | :21:52.
amid continuing improving news on the condition of Fabrice Muamba. | :21:52. | :21:59.
Also, they have rearranged that game that was abandoned, the FA Cup | :21:59. | :22:03.
quarterfinal against Tottenham. That will be played on Tuesday 27th | :22:03. | :22:06.
March. Blackburn Rovers did themselves some favours last night | :22:06. | :22:10.
beating Sunderland 2-0. They are now six points clear of the Premier | :22:10. | :22:14.
League relegation zone. It was some night. | :22:14. | :22:23.
Short on smiles for most of the season, two crucial wins make | :22:23. | :22:28.
Blackburn short odds to avoid the drop. We should get out of it. | :22:28. | :22:35.
we win at Bolton, we should be in with a good shout. We are not safe. | :22:35. | :22:38.
Rovers earnt their breathing space at the foot of the table after a | :22:38. | :22:42.
breathless match which they dominated. Not that their first | :22:42. | :22:47.
back-to-back victories under Steve Kean came easily. The Ewood | :22:47. | :22:51.
faithful had to wait until the second half for the breakthrough - | :22:51. | :22:55.
Junior Hoilett with the crisp volley. Blackburn then found the | :22:55. | :23:02.
clincher late on. Yakubu - the goal may be the difference come the end | :23:02. | :23:06.
of the season. He settled Blackburn's nerves and the result. | :23:06. | :23:10.
The fans are seeing the just rewards of their efforts, getting | :23:10. | :23:13.
behind the team and we all win together and lose together. They | :23:13. | :23:19.
are starting to see some points. I'm still not too sure about him. | :23:19. | :23:23.
If you look at the game last night, we played some decent football. | :23:23. | :23:28.
They all seem to be playing for him. Quite a turnaround for a manager | :23:28. | :23:34.
and a team many had written off months ago. | :23:34. | :23:39.
There was plenty of Football League action last night as well. Ronnie | :23:39. | :23:44.
Moore's unbeaten reign as Tranmere boss goes on with a 2-0 away win at | :23:44. | :23:49.
Rochdale. Crewe are closing in on the League Two play-offs after | :23:49. | :23:54.
beating Bradford 1-0. Harry Davis with the winning penalty. The new | :23:54. | :23:59.
manager effect didn't work for Macclesfield, they went down 4-2 | :23:59. | :24:05.
away to Rotherham. There we are, back to the Premier | :24:05. | :24:08.
League, back to a big night here at Manchester City. This game last | :24:08. | :24:12.
season, it was won by the odd goal. Guess who scored it? Carlos Tevez. | :24:12. | :24:22.
What are the odds on that tonight? If he scores the winner tonight, we | :24:22. | :24:28.
will see. Thank you very much. Nothing | :24:28. | :24:35.
particularly unusual about a football-themed wedding, but this | :24:35. | :24:38.
one shows dedication to the couple's favourite club. | :24:38. | :24:43.
# Walk on... # Never mind Here Comes The Bride, | :24:43. | :24:49.
the choice of music complimented the dress code. The happy couple | :24:49. | :24:55.
met watching the team's matches on television. They have probably | :24:55. | :25:05.
:25:05. | :25:05. | ||
never been to Anfield. They have had thousands of hits online of | :25:05. | :25:12.
their wedding video. Shall we take a look... Have you got a Liverpool | :25:12. | :25:14.
a look... Have you got a Liverpool strip on? | :25:14. | :25:19.
Yes, I have! Good evening. We had a nice day today, but the good news | :25:19. | :25:24.
about tomorrow is tomorrow will be better, potentially up to 17 | :25:24. | :25:29.
Celsius. Looking nice and feeling warm. Cloud was incredibly stubborn | :25:29. | :25:31.
first thing this morning. It did breakthrough the afternoon. Most | :25:31. | :25:35.
parts of the region have seen some nice spells of sunshine. The cloud | :25:35. | :25:39.
a bit stubborn in the Isle of Man for a good portion of the day. We | :25:39. | :25:43.
should all have better weather tomorrow. Of course, there is | :25:43. | :25:47.
hardly a cloud in the sky now. So that means tonight will be fairly | :25:47. | :25:51.
cool. The last couple of nights, we have had that cloud cover which has | :25:51. | :25:55.
held the temperatures up. You can see the blues returning. If you | :25:55. | :26:00.
head past midnight, it will be fairly nippy. Temperatures will be | :26:00. | :26:10.
:26:10. | :26:12. | ||
as low as 2 Celsius in rural areas. Quite a frost in part when you get | :26:12. | :26:17.
up. Towns and cities 4-5 Celsius. Once again, there is some variation. | :26:17. | :26:20.
I think many places will have a chill in the air when you get up. | :26:20. | :26:25.
You will be off to a really nice start. This morning, as I said, | :26:25. | :26:29.
very stubborn cloud cover. Tomorrow, hardly a cloud in the sky. So you | :26:29. | :26:32.
are off to a sunny start. That sunshine will linger all the way | :26:32. | :26:37.
through the day. From time to time, you will catch a bit of patchy | :26:37. | :26:40.
cloud and there could be a little bit of haze around from time to | :26:40. | :26:43.
time. All things considered, that is one of the nicest days we will | :26:43. | :26:48.
see for some time. With that south- easterly breeze, it is not very | :26:48. | :26:53.
strong. Your temperatures - we will go for a high of 17 Celsius | :26:53. | :26:58.
tomorrow afternoon. That is 63 Fahrenheit. Obviously, not | :26:58. | :27:03.
everywhere makes that. It will look and feel very nice. Then for | :27:03. | :27:06.
tomorrow night, the cloud returns but the temperatures won't be too | :27:06. | :27:10.
bad. For Friday, we have a weather front so there could be some | :27:10. | :27:13.
drizzly rain from time to time. Get that out of the way and your | :27:13. | :27:18.
weekend is looking good! I said it! You did. We are all feeling sad | :27:18. | :27:23.
because one of our long-time producers, he has been here for 17 | :27:23. | :27:28.
years, he is leaving. He is one of the nicest men you could ever meet. | :27:28. | :27:34. |
