He's lived much of his life in public, and today stuart hall | :01:40. | :01:42.
appeared in public once again, this time for a brief hearing at Preston | :01:43. | :01:45.
magistrates court. He's currently serving 30 months in prison after, | :01:46. | :01:48.
earlier this year, admitting 14 charges of indecent assault. | :01:49. | :01:51.
Following that case new allegations came to light, he now faces 15 rape | :01:52. | :01:57.
charges and one of indecent assault. The alleged offences are said to | :01:58. | :02:00.
have taken place between 1976 and 1981 in Manchester, Sale and | :02:01. | :02:05.
Stockport. They involve two alleged victims who were aged between 1 and | :02:06. | :02:11.
16 at the time. No plea was entered and because of the serious nature of | :02:12. | :02:14.
the allegations the case will now go to crown court. Stuart Hall has been | :02:15. | :02:18.
well known in broadcasting for the last 50 years. A boy and girl from | :02:19. | :02:29.

BBC regional news in the North West. In later years he was best known for | :02:41. | :02:44.
his football reporting on BBC Radio Five Live. Today's court hearing | :02:45. | :02:46.

returned to prison. He'll appear before Preston Crown Court on | :02:51. | :03:00.
November the 29th.? A cleaner at a nursing home near Lancaster has | :03:01. | :03:02.
given evidence against three former colleagues saying they abused | :03:03. | :03:05.
elderly residents for fun. Lisa Greeland said she saw one carer | :03:06. | :03:09.
slap a patient in revenge after his wife made a complaint at the | :03:10. | :03:12.
Hillcroft Slyne and Hest Nursing home near Lancaster. But the defence | :03:13. | :03:16.
said she had fabricated the stories because staff at the home had become | :03:17. | :03:19.
divided and cliquey. Our Health Correspondent Nina Warhurst has been | :03:20. | :03:23.
at the trial for a second day. Nina, Lisa Greenland worked closely with | :03:24. | :03:26.
the alleged abusers. What does she claim to have seen?? `` to have | :03:27. | :03:37.
seen? She was a cleaner at Hillcroft back | :03:38. | :03:43.
in 2010 when she says she witnessed things that shocked and disgusted | :03:44. | :03:46.
her, the kinds of things and she says you should never see at a | :03:47. | :03:51.
nursing home. One of the people she says she saw was abusing a patient, | :03:52. | :03:59.
was Caroline Miller. `` Carol Maul. She said she deliberately slapped a | :04:00. | :04:04.
patient after his wife made a complaint about the care she was | :04:05. | :04:08.
receiving, seem to colleagues, I will teach him a lesson. She alleges | :04:09. | :04:13.
the second perpetrator was Katie Kerins, who she says stood on the | :04:14. | :04:18.
foot of one of the patients intentionally. The third perpetrator | :04:19. | :04:27.
she says was Gemma Pearson, she says she her deliberately try and catch | :04:28. | :04:31.
an elderly gentleman out of teacher because he would not move. She said | :04:32. | :04:35.
I had to say something, I was sick of seeing these people upset by the | :04:36. | :04:39.
people who are supposed to be caring for them. | :04:40. | :04:42.
The defence says she is making up these allegations. What I be basing | :04:43. | :04:47.
that on? The defence painted a picture of | :04:48. | :04:50.
quite a hostile environment in the nursing home, one with infighting | :04:51. | :04:55.
and where staff were divided, and suggested that Lisa was making these | :04:56. | :04:59.
stories up because she was any group was separate from the group she is | :05:00. | :05:04.
making allegations about. They also claim that her statements were | :05:05. | :05:08.
inconsistent and questioned why if she had seen things that were so | :05:09. | :05:11.
shocking and so appalling it has taken her so long to report them and | :05:12. | :05:16.
why she could not remember specific details about where and when they | :05:17. | :05:20.
happen. All three defendants deny the allegations, the case continues. | :05:21. | :05:24.
David Cameron says he's "looking carefully" into how an East | :05:25. | :05:26.
Lancashire Conservative councillor, wanted in connection with a brutal | :05:27. | :05:29.
murder in Pakistan, came to attend a party at Downing Street. The Prime | :05:30. | :05:33.
Minister told the Commons he was investigating how Abdul Aziz, a | :05:34. | :05:36.
councillor in Pendle, received an invitation to a Number Ten | :05:37. | :05:46.
celebration for the Muslim festival of Eid.? Around a hundred jobs are | :05:47. | :05:49.
under threat at the Cammell Laird shipyard in Birkenhead. | :05:50. | :05:55.
The firm says the jobs are at risk as a result of the completion of | :05:56. | :05:58.
large contracts, meaning current staff levels can't be maintained. | :05:59. | :06:01.
The company says it'll continue to bid for future contracts and hopes | :06:02. | :06:12.
to secure more orders. The body of a great`grandmother originally from | :06:13. | :06:15.
Weddle was discovered in the Alps. She went missing last month after | :06:16. | :06:18.
going for her daily walk. She retired to France to years ago, | :06:19. | :06:24.
police say her death is consistent with fallen from a high rate. | :06:25. | :06:32.
Two students have apologised after dressing as the 9/11 disaster at a | :06:33. | :06:35.
halloween fancy dress competition. The costumes even showed bodies | :06:36. | :06:38.
jumping from windows. The Chester University students Amber Langford | :06:39. | :06:40.
and Annie Collinge won first prize at the contest at Rosie's Nightclub. | :06:41. | :06:43.
The University has condemned their behaviour. This from our Cheshire | :06:44. | :06:48.
reporter, Mark Edwardson. 3,000 people died when the twin | :06:49. | :06:51.
towers of the World Trade Centre in New York collapsed. 12 years on | :06:52. | :06:54.
undergraduates Annie Collinge and Amber Langford have drawn | :06:55. | :06:56.
condemnation for their Hallowe'en fancy dress costumes depicting | :06:57. | :06:59.
crashed planes, flames and perhaps most disturbingly people falling | :07:00. | :07:04.
from the towers. In a statement they said: "We never meant to be | :07:05. | :07:09.
offensive but we apologise if any offence was caused. The idea was to | :07:10. | :07:12.
depict a serious, modern day horror that happened in our life time ans | :07:13. | :07:17.
was not intended as a joke." Today in Chester fellow students were | :07:18. | :07:28.
celebrating their graduation. Halloween unit `` Halloween outfits | :07:29. | :07:31.
and unique gins, they want to be as controversial as they can. It was in | :07:32. | :07:36.
a concealed area, but it in public you must be more careful. Should not | :07:37. | :07:42.
have been done. It is out of order. The fancy dress contest, which the | :07:43. | :07:46.
girls won was staged at a city centre nightclub in Chester. We `` | :07:47. | :07:54.
we asked the nightclub for a statement, and they said, a serious | :07:55. | :07:59.
error of judgement was made by a contractor to DJ. They say they | :08:00. | :08:02.
apologise to anyone upset or offended by the photos. The girls | :08:03. | :08:05.
were due to get ?150 prize money, but the nightclub says that won t | :08:06. | :08:08.
happen. Chester Pictures, who published the photos on a social | :08:09. | :08:11.
media site immediately took then down after a deluge of criticism. | :08:12. | :08:19.
Chester University and the student union have launched an immediate | :08:20. | :08:21.
investigation. A petition against the development | :08:22. | :08:24.
of the Summerland site has been handed in to the Isle of Man | :08:25. | :08:27.
government this morning. The leisure complex burnt to the ground, killing | :08:28. | :08:30.
50 people, mainly holiday`makers in 1973. The site could be sold for | :08:31. | :08:33.
developers to build apartments. But nearly 2,000 people have signed the | :08:34. | :08:36.
petition calling for a memorial garden to be created there. We feel | :08:37. | :08:48.
strongly, almost 2000 people here in the UK and all around the world | :08:49. | :08:52.
that this site should be commemorated. To all those people | :08:53. | :08:58.
who died. Fire crews in the region have seen a big fall in the number | :08:59. | :09:00.
of emergency calls made during bonfire night. Liverpool and | :09:01. | :09:04.
Lancashire border experienced a drop in the number of reported incidents | :09:05. | :09:08.
convert to last year and called in Manchester fell by one half. Only, | :09:09. | :09:11.
you saw a slight increase in the number of calls made. | :09:12. | :09:14.
The National Lottery's searching for the holder of a winning ticket on | :09:15. | :09:17.
the Fylde Coast, worth a million pounds. It was bought for the | :09:18. | :09:21.
Euromillions draw on the 26th of July. The holder won the Millionaire | :09:22. | :09:30.
Raffle prize but hasn't claimed it. It could be you! | :09:31. | :09:34.
It is not behind this is over. Now last night we broke the news | :09:35. | :09:37.
that the Liverpool drugs baron Curtis warren had been ordered to | :09:38. | :09:41.
pay back a staggering ?200m from the proceeds of his crimes. Today senior | :09:42. | :09:43.
police officers welcomed the confiscation order, thought to be | :09:44. | :09:47.
the biggest ever in Europe, as a "tremendous result". But the | :09:48. | :09:50.
question now is ` has he got any of the money left? He says he hasn t, | :09:51. | :09:54.
and those in the know reckon he could be telling the truth. Here's | :09:55. | :09:58.
our Merseyside Reporter, Andy Gill. Curtis Warren's spent most of the | :09:59. | :10:01.
past 17 years in jail for drugs crimes in Holland and Jersey. He | :10:02. | :10:06.
could be released in January. But only if he can find a hundred and | :10:07. | :10:09.
ninety eight million pounds in less than a month. `` and ?90 million. A | :10:10. | :10:17.
court in Jersey made the order against him based on jail phone | :10:18. | :10:20.
records and covert recordings in a Dutch jail of him boasting about his | :10:21. | :10:28.
wealth. If this gentleman has the assets then we want to take them off | :10:29. | :10:32.
him so he can continue on his life of crime. The hearing in Jersey saw | :10:33. | :10:36.
a world map showing countries here in red the authorities say Warren | :10:37. | :10:39.
contacted by mobile phone from prison. They range from Bolivia to | :10:40. | :10:43.
New Zealand. The map also showed countries here in blue he had | :10:44. | :10:47.
contacts for in his address book. From Argentina to Iceland. But | :10:48. | :10:52.
Warren's lawyers said the boasts were nonsense and he has nothing | :10:53. | :11:02.
left. Much of his wealth is repeatedly tied up in property, | :11:03. | :11:07.
including a flat here in Liverpool. One writer in Liverpool's underworld | :11:08. | :11:11.
has told the BBC today he does not think Warren has ?198 million in | :11:12. | :11:16.
cash. He has told us that when he was released from jail in Holland he | :11:17. | :11:20.
tried to get some of his money from criminal associates. But they would | :11:21. | :11:24.
not let him have it. The police say the order is a great result against | :11:25. | :11:28.
a man they say is one of the most prolific drug dealers of a | :11:29. | :11:34.
generation. His standing as rate up there and he has used his reputation | :11:35. | :11:38.
to his own advantage. This order will send the real Queen message not | :11:39. | :11:43.
only to him but to other criminals who `` and the National crime agency | :11:44. | :11:46.
and other law enforcement agencies who will ruthlessly pursue top | :11:47. | :11:55.
criminals. In a recent interview, Warren said he was anti`drugs and | :11:56. | :12:02.
wished he had trained as a lawyer. Still to come, the future of rugby | :12:03. | :12:06.
league dreams. Papua New Guinea s players visit Old Trafford, the | :12:07. | :12:12.
venue for the World Cup final. And we visit the restored home of | :12:13. | :12:15.
the man who wrote swallows and Amazons, a tale of innocence and | :12:16. | :12:23.
adventure in Lakeland. It is Remembrance Sunday this weekend a | :12:24. | :12:26.
good time to announce a key initiative in next year's Vance to | :12:27. | :12:29.
mark the sitting of the of the start of the First World War. | :12:30. | :12:32.
A commitment of paving stone will be laid in the hometown of everything | :12:33. | :12:36.
will be across one from the great War. It was designed by a barrel | :12:37. | :12:40.
`based architect who I am delighted to see joins us now. You are an | :12:41. | :12:47.
architect by trade, how did you get involved in this? Some friends asked | :12:48. | :12:53.
me to enter a competition to redesign the main square of Preston. | :12:54. | :12:57.
The long and short of it is the end of the stalling and adding to the | :12:58. | :13:00.
war memorial there. As part of the funding process we have to allow the | :13:01. | :13:06.
stories that would engage people and excite people and make them | :13:07. | :13:09.
understand what this was about. Then we went on to do it again in | :13:10. | :13:13.
Fleetwood, with the community there. The local community of veterans that | :13:14. | :13:17.
help us, give us the time to learn what the memorial is. He won the | :13:18. | :13:20.
competition with your design, didn't you? The design, the representation | :13:21. | :13:31.
of it is a great white disc that is the design of the First World War | :13:32. | :13:35.
Americas headstones that will be brought to town centres. We are | :13:36. | :13:41.
seeing it now. The name you have inscribed on it, William Young, | :13:42. | :13:45.
tells about him. He was a Scot who base himself in person? He is buried | :13:46. | :13:52.
in the local cemetery. He was injured, he received his award of | :13:53. | :13:59.
bravery on the 22nd of December 1815, he was shot in the mouth and | :14:00. | :14:03.
went on to pull people back to the trenches and safety. He was given a | :14:04. | :14:08.
hero 's welcome in Preston and then he unfortunately died under | :14:09. | :14:13.
pioneering corrective surgery in August 1916. I did not know this | :14:14. | :14:19.
until starting the project, my fantasy curator at the Harris resume | :14:20. | :14:21.
and Art gallery and he showed me some of his joyous homecoming. That | :14:22. | :14:29.
was his funeral. There is another film of him arriving. We have gone | :14:30. | :14:36.
past that. It was just knowing, when you have a list of 627 names of | :14:37. | :14:39.
those who received the Victoria Cross, to know of one, that is why I | :14:40. | :14:46.
picked him. It has a lovely way to commemorate what they did and he | :14:47. | :14:52.
respects to it. Some people have said on Facebook, they don't want to | :14:53. | :14:58.
step on them! I am always concerned about carvings and pavements. | :14:59. | :15:03.
Interestingly, the 400 of these that will be in the UK will be registered | :15:04. | :15:08.
War memorials, they will go on a but people may walk on them and travel | :15:09. | :15:13.
on them. We might start looking at pavements in a different way. That | :15:14. | :15:21.
makes one stop, learn and pause Looking at the floor and different | :15:22. | :15:26.
things. I don't know. It is certainly a good idea and as you see | :15:27. | :15:29.
it as something that should be rendered. Thank you for coming in. | :15:30. | :15:35.
Not a great day for swimming today, but if fancied a dip in Blackpool | :15:36. | :15:39.
the good news is that for the first time in years all the resort's | :15:40. | :15:42.
beaches were given top marks for clean bathing water. But not such | :15:43. | :15:46.
good news elswhere in fact of the six UK beaches that failed the tests | :15:47. | :15:50.
` four were here in the North West. Beccy Meehan, who didn't opt for a | :15:51. | :16:02.
bracing swim, reports. The Northwest is renowned for its | :16:03. | :16:06.
coastline, and new research shows the quality of the water at most of | :16:07. | :16:09.
our beaches is continuing to improve. The results do show there | :16:10. | :16:14.
is more work to be done in the north`west, we do have heavy | :16:15. | :16:18.
rainfall and some of the problems it causes is the sewer system getting | :16:19. | :16:22.
blocked up. We get run`off rainfall landing on farmland but this year we | :16:23. | :16:27.
had a really good summer and some real vocal sources causing issues. | :16:28. | :16:33.
Things like dog mess on the beach. These problems mean that the five UK | :16:34. | :16:37.
beaches that field test, for in the Northwest. And the, Blackpool's | :16:38. | :16:44.
beaches have passed. Blackpool is a family resort, we want to encourage | :16:45. | :16:50.
people with children to come here. Anything that says we are clean and | :16:51. | :16:54.
safe and healthy as part of what we are about. We want to encourage | :16:55. | :16:58.
people to use the beach and have a good time. The family audiences what | :16:59. | :17:03.
we want to gain. The authorities may be very pleased that water quality | :17:04. | :17:08.
is improving, but visitors here in Blackpool remain to be convinced. | :17:09. | :17:14.
Could be improved more, because it is very dirty. I can't tell with | :17:15. | :17:25.
this weather. If they are working hard at trying to clean up the | :17:26. | :17:30.
sewage and the health of the beach I would say it is all positive. There | :17:31. | :17:35.
is more work to be done, but it is an improvement nonetheless. | :17:36. | :17:42.
I was out and about and felt like I could go swimming, I almost got | :17:43. | :17:47.
washed away! Came for the sport They have had a few goes at it, but | :17:48. | :17:51.
classmates on the policy for Manchester City. Yes, another | :17:52. | :17:58.
ambition set out, the Abu Dhabi takeover could be on the list. City | :17:59. | :18:03.
are through to the play`offs for the first time in their history. | :18:04. | :18:06.
They are certainly scoring lots they must be confident. | :18:07. | :18:12.
Yes and the manager hinted at this after the five dash to thrashing | :18:13. | :18:20.
from CSKA Moscow. The strikers are leading the way. | :18:21. | :18:25.
This was the first to, before the limelight was stolen with this | :18:26. | :18:30.
hat`trick. The boss is delighted with his team. The whole team is | :18:31. | :18:36.
playing as an offensive team and that is very important. They play in | :18:37. | :18:42.
a team and we have a lot more chances, we scored five goals today | :18:43. | :18:48.
and had at least five or six more chances. The Reds of Manchester also | :18:49. | :18:53.
claimed. Top of the group but not the result in the game that got | :18:54. | :18:55.
everyone talking. No, David Moyes wished it was, the | :18:56. | :19:01.
know will result was not making the headlines, it was the allegation of | :19:02. | :19:05.
diving against Ashley Young. Let's look at it. The winner has | :19:06. | :19:11.
previously come under fire for going down the easily. He is under | :19:12. | :19:14.
scrutiny again. Ironically, Robin van pessimist these bot kick. `` | :19:15. | :19:21.
Robin van Percy mess to the spot kick. A missed penalty and a red | :19:22. | :19:26.
card. United that Manchester United would | :19:27. | :19:30.
want to forget. Yes and no. I will head my bets. It was not a bad | :19:31. | :19:34.
result, they are still in good shape to make the next stage but they will | :19:35. | :19:41.
have to do without key players. Including this man, who was sent | :19:42. | :19:46.
off. The second red card came from this trip. They are still | :19:47. | :19:53.
well`placed to make it out of the equipment into the final 16. If we | :19:54. | :19:58.
had wanted eight it would have given us a real chance of making sure that | :19:59. | :20:03.
we were the team who were going to lead the group. But we are in a | :20:04. | :20:08.
healthy position. He wants to be top but I do feel we missed out on the | :20:09. | :20:15.
chance to make sure it was three. That's the sport to rugby league, | :20:16. | :20:21.
the World Cup is gaining momentum. England still have their sights set | :20:22. | :20:24.
on lifting the famous trophy, but for some smaller nations like Papua | :20:25. | :20:27.
New Guinea the fact that they are taking part is just as important. I | :20:28. | :20:32.
caught up with them as the ticket to the venue for the final. | :20:33. | :20:38.
It is very unlikely they will be back at Old Trafford for the final, | :20:39. | :20:41.
but for Papua New Guinea the World Cup is just as much about the whole | :20:42. | :20:47.
experience as the result. Some of our boys have never had a passport | :20:48. | :20:51.
before so to be part of a World Cup was to enjoy it and get the | :20:52. | :20:55.
experience overseas and meet people and other cultures and we are really | :20:56. | :20:59.
enjoying it. They were shopping this afternoon at the Old Trafford | :21:00. | :21:04.
centre. Some big sizes and their! Big size 16 shoes. It seems that his | :21:05. | :21:14.
players are taking it all in the trade. Very different to Australia, | :21:15. | :21:19.
but very enjoyable. What about the experience of Old Trafford? Yes it | :21:20. | :21:26.
is an unbelievable stadium. We have a stadium on the Gold Coast which | :21:27. | :21:30.
seats 27,000 in this one is obviously about three times the size | :21:31. | :21:34.
so it has been a wonderful experience just to see what the | :21:35. | :21:38.
stadium was like. Asfordby head coach he knows Old Trafford well | :21:39. | :21:42.
from his within days when he was involved in some proud moments. `` | :21:43. | :21:46.
as for the head coach. Non`coder than leading his country. There is | :21:47. | :21:51.
no prouder moment than putting these boys, and we have an opportunity on | :21:52. | :21:56.
Friday against New Zealand, the current world champions. They will | :21:57. | :22:01.
be up against it, but one of the friendliest teams around will not be | :22:02. | :22:04.
short on support. Before I go, you'll remember last | :22:05. | :22:07.
night we were previewing a big auction of Nat Lofthouse | :22:08. | :22:09.
memorabilia, including his England cap from the famous Lion of Vienna | :22:10. | :22:13.
game. Well the auction was today, and some good news lots of the items | :22:14. | :22:17.
up for sale have been bought by Bolton Council with help from NCP | :22:18. | :22:20.
and they'll go on permanent display at Bolton Museum. Much better than | :22:21. | :22:29.
gathering dust in a collectors safe.? `` collector's safe. Everyone | :22:30. | :22:39.
can now see them forevermore. He was absolutely phenomenal. The council | :22:40. | :22:41.
had help, so they weren't spending council taxpayers money on! | :22:42. | :22:46.
When you move into a new home, you might sometimes wonder what the | :22:47. | :22:48.
previous owners might have been like. Well, one couple who moved | :22:49. | :22:52.
into a house in Cumbria have spent a fair amount of time finding out | :22:53. | :22:55.
about the past resident of their place. He was the children's author | :22:56. | :23:00.
Arthur Ransome. And as Dave Guest reports, documenting his connections | :23:01. | :23:03.
with the house has become a labour of love for the pair.? it is a | :23:04. | :23:15.
quintessentially English tale of well spoken children enjoying a | :23:16. | :23:17.
spiffing adventure in the Lake District. | :23:18. | :23:22.
Swallows and Amazons as a children's classic and the man who wrote it, | :23:23. | :23:27.
Arthur Ransome, also loved Lakeland. He spent many summers at this | :23:28. | :23:33.
cottage, and he liked it so much he wanted and spent the final years of | :23:34. | :23:38.
his life here. The current owners, Stephen and Gillian Sykes, spent | :23:39. | :23:45.
half ?1 million renovating hilltop. The view is unmistakable. They have | :23:46. | :23:50.
retained other features, that would also make the offer of you at home. | :23:51. | :23:55.
Was it the Arthur Ransome collection that persuaded you to buy the place? | :23:56. | :24:00.
It is a beautiful home in any case, but with the Arthur Ransome | :24:01. | :24:07.
connection it was the added sparkle that we were looking for. Stephen | :24:08. | :24:11.
spent a lot of time researching the residents, he looked out long | :24:12. | :24:14.
forgotten photographs of the offer and his wife at the cottage. He even | :24:15. | :24:20.
discovered rarely heard sound recordings of the author. He has | :24:21. | :24:27.
been restoring them. As you can see, once you have used the software the | :24:28. | :24:31.
crackling that was on the recording previously is extracted entirely and | :24:32. | :24:36.
you get a nice clean recording. Has he become in recession for you? I | :24:37. | :24:41.
wouldn't say obsession but he's a very interesting character, Arthur | :24:42. | :24:45.
Ransome. Indeed he was. As a newspaper correspondence he covered | :24:46. | :24:49.
the rushing revolution and married Trotsky's former secretary. He was | :24:50. | :24:53.
named the cease`fire and double agents years after his death. This | :24:54. | :24:58.
is the laps picture ever taken of him and it was taken in this very | :24:59. | :25:03.
room. Arthur Ransome died in 19 7, he is buried about four miles as the | :25:04. | :25:09.
crow flies in that direction. Stephen hopes that by resetting the | :25:10. | :25:13.
writer's connections with this house, those connections will never | :25:14. | :25:19.
be forgotten. `` re`searching the connections. | :25:20. | :25:24.
It is something that every child of the generation must read. I am | :25:25. | :25:29.
afraid to say it is a gap in my literary education! | :25:30. | :25:34.
As I mentioned earlier, I was nearly washed away. It was absolutely | :25:35. | :25:40.
bucketing down. It has been a bit of a damp squib. | :25:41. | :25:45.
We have had plenty of rain throughout this afternoon, barely | :25:46. | :25:51.
any sunshine at all. It will be a disappointing day for November and | :25:52. | :25:53.
there is plenty more where that came from. Over the next two or three | :25:54. | :25:57.
days and into the weekend you can see we are going to see a lot of | :25:58. | :26:00.
rain, a bit of improvements tomorrow on Friday and Saturday and Sunday I | :26:01. | :26:05.
think I can guarantee you some rain and disappointing temperatures. It | :26:06. | :26:07.
is not going to be particularly warm, either. Tonight we have rain | :26:08. | :26:13.
around and it will eventually easily into the morning. It will not | :26:14. | :26:17.
disappear completely and we still have showers continuing to make | :26:18. | :26:19.
their way in from across the Irish Sea. It D please unite, we see clear | :26:20. | :26:28.
skies into dawn. `` we see a breezy night and clear skies. For tomorrow, | :26:29. | :26:35.
very much of an improvement, actually. It will be a breezy day | :26:36. | :26:43.
but right from the word go, and also a desire to from the word go. We | :26:44. | :26:49.
have one or two showers initially by the stiff westerly breeze continuing | :26:50. | :26:52.
to bring showers on. Perhaps even the risk of thunder from time to | :26:53. | :26:55.
time tomorrow. In Lancashire tomorrow we could see places with | :26:56. | :26:58.
temperatures rising no higher than in degrees, but elsewhere we could | :26:59. | :27:04.
see ten or 11 degrees. Make the most of the dry in bright conditions | :27:05. | :27:07.
because tomorrow night the showers will begin to pale backing from the | :27:08. | :27:12.
West and it will be another chilly evening and for Friday and Saturday | :27:13. | :27:16.
it will stay quite breezy with plenty more showers to come. | :27:17. | :27:25.
A wet picture. What is the weather world like? A parallel universe I | :27:26. | :27:30.
always say damp squid, but apparently it is damp squib! Damp | :27:31. | :27:39.
squib made us laugh. I must treat Swallows and Amazons, we decided the | :27:40. | :27:40.
Labour club. Good night. | :27:41. | :27:44. |
