Welcome to South East Today, I'm Polly Evans. | :00:02. | :00:04.
And I'm Rob Smith. Tonight's top stories: | :00:04. | :00:09.
400 workers told they have no job and won't be paid this month. Anger | :00:09. | :00:19.
:00:19. | :00:19. | ||
and shock at Thamesteel. I am devastated. I and 63 so that is it. | :00:19. | :00:24.
I have got three kids so it is affecting the. | :00:24. | :00:27.
How a bomb scare has closed the Port of Dover, with a 400 metre | :00:27. | :00:30.
exclusion zone, causing traffic chaos. We'll be reporting on the | :00:30. | :00:32.
latest from the town. Also in tonight's programme: | :00:32. | :00:34.
After controversial multi-million pound merger, the school ranked as | :00:34. | :00:36.
the 3rd worst in England. We'll be reporting live from | :00:36. | :00:39.
Chatham. He watched his brother swept out to | :00:39. | :00:42.
sea - the Sussex man raising money in honour of the brave lifeboat | :00:42. | :00:47.
crew who tried to save him. Is Kent the UK's most patriotic | :00:47. | :00:51.
county? Signing up for more beacons to light up the Queen's jubilee | :00:51. | :01:01.
:01:01. | :01:06. | ||
Good evening. 400 workers at the Thamesteel plant in Sheerness were | :01:06. | :01:09.
called to a meeting today to be told they are being made redundant, | :01:09. | :01:18.
following the collapse of the firm. Staff have described their shock, | :01:18. | :01:21.
some saying they fear they won't be able to pay bills and could face | :01:21. | :01:26.
losing their homes in the coming months. The company went into | :01:26. | :01:31.
administration yesterday. Simon Jones reports. | :01:31. | :01:35.
They turned up to work today to hear their job had gone. It is past | :01:35. | :01:41.
tense. At home, Jason has had to tell his family that the future | :01:41. | :01:45.
looks bleak. I immediately thought, I am not the man of the house any | :01:45. | :01:50.
more, I am not the breadwinner, I am here to look after my family and | :01:50. | :01:54.
provide a roof over their head and that is finished. I can no longer | :01:54. | :01:59.
do that. It was really upsetting. Thinking that she could be homeless | :01:59. | :02:05.
and that your dad has not got a job any more. I felt upset. Chris has | :02:05. | :02:10.
worked at the site for over 30 years. I have now it -- now got to | :02:10. | :02:15.
worry about domestic bills same as everybody else. We are all on the | :02:15. | :02:21.
same boat here. It is going to be very difficult. I have got three | :02:21. | :02:27.
kids so it is obviously affecting me. It is obviously affecting | :02:27. | :02:36.
everyone. And what are your worries? Obviously, worst comes to | :02:36. | :02:43.
worst, if you cannot find a job you could Russia House. Food, bills, -- | :02:43. | :02:50.
you could lose your house. In parts of Sheerness, 43% of children live | :02:50. | :02:53.
below the poverty line. Unemployment in the town has risen | :02:53. | :03:00.
by more than 20% in some boards in the last year. On Sheppey a loan, | :03:00. | :03:04.
there are eight jobseeker's for every job. I have been struggling | :03:04. | :03:09.
for years to turn this island around, to get people positive, | :03:09. | :03:13.
this is just another nail in the Commons. People are demoralised. | :03:13. | :03:18.
There are not any jobs. uncertain future for people at very | :03:18. | :03:23.
different stages of their careers. Lots of people will be fighting for | :03:23. | :03:30.
the same jobs. For me, I do not know. I want to finish my | :03:30. | :03:36.
qualification. I am devastated. I am 63, so basically it is finished. | :03:36. | :03:42.
The chances of getting a job now are just about nil. Unions exert -- | :03:42. | :03:47.
insist all hope is not lost. personally briefed our members | :03:47. | :03:51.
today and said that we would not give up hope. We're going to start | :03:51. | :03:57.
a campaign to save our steel here at Sheerness and work with | :03:57. | :04:01.
administrators to see if there is a buyer at then that will happen. | :04:01. | :04:05.
That was Simon Jones reporting and he joins us live now from Sheerness. | :04:05. | :04:12.
Simon, what real hope is there tonight for the 400 workers? | :04:12. | :04:17.
The administrator addressed the 400 staff here today. He stayed on a | :04:17. | :04:21.
pile of steel and told them he was now in charge of the site, the | :04:21. | :04:25.
owners have gone. The workers have not been paid for the past month. | :04:25. | :04:29.
They must now apply to the Government to try to get back that | :04:29. | :04:34.
money. Only 50 workers will remain on the site to keep it ticking over | :04:34. | :04:39.
in the hope of getting a buyer. There are hopes tonight of a task | :04:39. | :04:44.
fox -- force going in to try to offer some hope. | :04:44. | :04:46.
So, what's the background to the demise of Thamesteel? Its Saudi | :04:46. | :04:50.
Arabian owners Al Tuwairqi took over in 2002. Under them annual | :04:50. | :04:56.
production increased from 570,000 tons to over 800,000 last year. But | :04:56. | :04:59.
the recent financial crisis has caused a slump in building and | :04:59. | :05:04.
manufacturing - and a collapse in demand for steel in Europe. At the | :05:04. | :05:07.
same time, the boom in economic growth in places like China and | :05:07. | :05:10.
India has seen a sharp rise in prices for raw materials, such as | :05:10. | :05:16.
the scrap metal used at Thamesteel. The owners decided to sell up - but | :05:16. | :05:25.
they couldn't find a buyer. If we look at the recent history of the | :05:25. | :05:28.
way that Thamesteel has been run, they have been looking for a buyer | :05:28. | :05:32.
for some time now and their production was actually halted in | :05:32. | :05:37.
November. There have been no plans for restarting the mill at all and | :05:37. | :05:40.
they have not been successful in finding a buyer. There have been a | :05:40. | :05:44.
number of different trading groups linked with various agreements but | :05:44. | :05:48.
nothing has come to fruition. The job losses at Thamesteel come | :05:48. | :05:51.
as yet another blow to the wider UK manufacturing sector. The GMB union | :05:51. | :05:54.
says there've been 700,000 job losses over the last four years - | :05:54. | :05:57.
almost 20,000 of them going in Kent alone - making it the third worst- | :05:57. | :06:02.
affected county in Britain - and the worst in the Southern England. | :06:02. | :06:06.
Our Political Editor Louise Stewart joins us live from Westminster. | :06:06. | :06:08.
Louise, the local MP has been calling on the Government to | :06:08. | :06:11.
provide help for the 400 Sheerness steel workers losing their jobs but, | :06:11. | :06:18.
practically, is there any help they can give? | :06:18. | :06:22.
I know today there are calls to do for a task force to be set up, but | :06:22. | :06:27.
as the local MP said himself, there is very little the Government can | :06:27. | :06:35.
do. It is very difficult from a successful business, or where a | :06:35. | :06:38.
task force can attract other businesses. This is a feeling | :06:38. | :06:41.
business that has gone into administration. The Government | :06:41. | :06:46.
cannot step in and help them all. The shadow transport -- Minister | :06:46. | :06:49.
has said today that the Government needs to be doing more to prevent | :06:49. | :06:53.
the sort of job losses in the first instance. What is put important | :06:53. | :07:00.
here is that the Thamesteel where providing jobs for the construction | :07:00. | :07:04.
industry and the Government is refusing to change their plans | :07:04. | :07:10.
anything -- to anything other than their austerity plans. The local MP | :07:10. | :07:14.
is still hopeful that the Dutch firm may yet come into Sheppey and | :07:14. | :07:19.
open its work -- wind turbine factory there, if that happens it | :07:19. | :07:23.
will provide a much-needed jobs boost to the area. | :07:23. | :07:25.
Thamesteel's administrators say they have had some interest in | :07:26. | :07:28.
their search for a potential buyer but until they have fully examined | :07:29. | :07:32.
the books they can't say if or when workers will be paid. Tomorrow | :07:32. | :07:34.
morning the BBC Radio Kent breakfast programme will be | :07:34. | :07:37.
broadcasting live from the Isle of Sheppey as people there come to | :07:37. | :07:45.
terms with the loss of 400 jobs. In a moment, plans to make | :07:45. | :07:49.
landlords pay a 700 pound licence if they want to read to students in | :07:49. | :07:58.
Brighton. -- rent. A brand new school in Chatham has | :07:58. | :08:02.
the third worst GCSE results in England, the latest league tables | :08:02. | :08:06.
reveal. The Bishop of Rochester Academy was created through the | :08:06. | :08:10.
merger of two local schools, despite a fierce campaign by some | :08:10. | :08:17.
parents. Suss 16% of pupils there got five good GCSEs including | :08:17. | :08:22.
English and maths. Linda is live in Chatham for us tonight. I imagine a | :08:22. | :08:27.
lot of people are saying I told you Absolutely. Speaking to appearance | :08:27. | :08:31.
today, many said to me that they had said this merger would not work | :08:31. | :08:35.
out and that these results prove that. Speaking to the new head | :08:35. | :08:39.
teacher, he admits there have been problems but said that under his | :08:40. | :08:44.
watch improvement will be seen. Arriving at school this morning, | :08:44. | :08:49.
parents and pupils reacted to the dismal news that their Academy is, | :08:49. | :08:54.
according to the latest GCSE league tables, the third worst secondary | :08:54. | :08:59.
school in the country. If the teachers do not do it right, | :08:59. | :09:04.
because it will not do it right. son goes to the Academy and I am | :09:04. | :09:08.
very pleased with his education. Something desperately needs to be | :09:08. | :09:13.
done across both sides, to be honest. My youngest son is about to | :09:13. | :09:17.
come up, up to this school, and I am worried about how he is going to | :09:17. | :09:27.
get on. Formed by her at an -- a merger of two schools, it has been | :09:27. | :09:33.
a turbulent time for this new academy. In June 2008, pupils and | :09:33. | :09:39.
parents protesters at the merger -- protest at the merger plans. But in | :09:40. | :09:44.
2010 at the Academy opened. Last May, after being suspended | :09:44. | :09:50.
following a performance review, its principal stop down. Now a new | :09:50. | :09:54.
principle has started this month and, working alongside an interim | :09:54. | :10:01.
headmaster, is promising the academy will improve. The academy | :10:01. | :10:04.
had difficult times. We are anticipating this year that he will | :10:04. | :10:09.
meet the Government's target and lots of things are improving. Staff | :10:09. | :10:14.
and pupils work particularly hard to make sure things are improving. | :10:14. | :10:18.
There will be a significant difference. There are schools | :10:18. | :10:22.
elsewhere in the country that face similar challenges but perhaps have | :10:22. | :10:28.
a stronger leadership team. It is important that we bring this to the | :10:28. | :10:33.
Rochester or -- Bishop of Rochester Academy. We are looking at those | :10:33. | :10:38.
schools who are below the floor, and the commissioner well into the | :10:39. | :10:42.
been in that those schools that continued to underperform. But that | :10:42. | :10:46.
will not be necessary here, according to the new management | :10:46. | :10:51.
team. The EC changes have been made and results will improve. | :10:51. | :10:55.
Can you put this in context for us? How do problems at the school but | :10:55. | :10:59.
into the wider picture of educational achievement in mid-May? | :10:59. | :11:09.
We asked them to trot trot some camera, but they did not, they | :11:09. | :11:14.
said... Despite primary schools in this area being ranked bottom, at | :11:14. | :11:20.
A-level results in this area are much better than primary and GCSE, | :11:20. | :11:25.
ranked 69th in the country, so middle of the table. There is also | :11:25. | :11:29.
cause for celebration at another school in the area today, what with | :11:29. | :11:34.
the grammar, at the 4th best school in the country. | :11:34. | :11:38.
If you want to find out how your local school has performed, go to | :11:38. | :11:43.
the website below. The Port of Dover has been closed | :11:43. | :11:47.
tonight, after a car heading for a war and peace show was stopped | :11:47. | :11:49.
because of concerns about items it was carrying. | :11:49. | :11:52.
There is an exclusion zone around the port, leading to severe traffic | :11:52. | :11:55.
congestion and delays in the surrounding area. Let's cross live | :11:55. | :11:58.
to our reporter Peter Whittlesea in Dover. Peter, what more can you | :11:58. | :12:06.
tell us? Within the last few minutes, the | :12:06. | :12:12.
police have lifted that exclusion zone. They have dealt with that | :12:12. | :12:16.
this vehicle. What is understood to have happened is a vehicle that was | :12:16. | :12:20.
going to a military show had something on it that the Border | :12:20. | :12:24.
Agency thought could be potentially dangerous. That meant there has | :12:24. | :12:29.
been a lockdown in the port of Dover and caused huge traffic | :12:29. | :12:32.
congestion coming into the port and we will leave many cars and lorries | :12:32. | :12:37.
are still stuck in the port we teach know when they can leave. | :12:37. | :12:40.
So we understand that this vehicle was heading to some sort of | :12:40. | :12:46.
military history show. That is right. Probably a bit like | :12:46. | :12:49.
the war and peace show where enthusiasts take historical | :12:49. | :12:55.
vehicles and historical equipment dating back to the First or Second | :12:55. | :12:59.
World War. There was an incident here a few years ago when some | :12:59. | :13:05.
military enthuse and -- enthusiasts brought back an Ordnance which | :13:05. | :13:10.
meant there port had to be closed or the bomb squad dealt with it. At | :13:10. | :13:14.
the moment, it looks like the situation has been dealt with and | :13:14. | :13:18.
we are not quite sure now exactly how long it will take for the port | :13:18. | :13:27.
A driving instructor has been jailed for eight years after rating | :13:27. | :13:33.
a woman more than 25 years ago. Martin Eke was caught using new DNA | :13:33. | :13:39.
techniques after a 15 month investigation. His victim was 22 | :13:39. | :13:44.
when she was attacked. She died from kidney failure 10 years ago. | :13:44. | :13:50.
She was a vulnerable young lady. She has described as the life and | :13:50. | :13:54.
soul of the party, lighting up the room when she came into it. She | :13:54. | :13:57.
struggled her whole life with a serious illness and to be so | :13:57. | :14:03.
brutally attacked by this man was just shocking. Martin Eke believed | :14:03. | :14:08.
for 25 years he had got away with An investigation has been launched | :14:08. | :14:12.
into the death of a teenage boy at Cookham Wood young offenders | :14:12. | :14:16.
institution in Rochester. 15-year- old Alex Kelly was serving a ten- | :14:16. | :14:20.
month sentence for burglary and theft from a vehicle and had been | :14:20. | :14:25.
identified as being at risk of self-harm or suicide. | :14:25. | :14:28.
A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the murder of a | :14:28. | :14:33.
father of one in East Sussex. 25- year-old Darren Croxton was stabbed | :14:33. | :14:40.
in Hailsham on Sunday and died in hospital the following day. | :14:40. | :14:44.
As an 11-year-old, Martin Adams watched helplessly as his | :14:44. | :14:51.
stepfather and older brother was worked into the sea in a gale. His | :14:51. | :14:55.
stepfather was saved but his brother to drive -- died. Martin | :14:55. | :14:59.
has never forgotten that the bravery of the crew that saved her | :14:59. | :15:07.
stepfather and his now fundraising for the RNLI in Sussex. -- he is | :15:07. | :15:13.
now. The worst thing I can ever remember, to be honest. Martin | :15:13. | :15:17.
Adams looks out of the sea that is what his brother to his death 20 -- | :15:17. | :15:24.
30 years ago. 13-year-old Simon and his step father Donald were caught | :15:24. | :15:30.
by huge waves close to their home. I was at the beach with my step dad | :15:30. | :15:36.
and my brother. We used to go down there a lot. It was a rough day, we | :15:36. | :15:41.
probably shouldn't have been there. I stepbrother got swept in and my | :15:41. | :15:46.
brother went in after him. A full- scale rescue effort was launched, | :15:46. | :15:51.
which included the RNLI team from Eastbourne. The launch took place | :15:52. | :15:57.
and disappeared under an incoming wave, rose up and then went off to | :15:57. | :16:02.
carry out the service. Forever linked with the Arab ally to the | :16:02. | :16:06.
death of his older brother, Martin has volunteered to his company's | :16:06. | :16:11.
services to help with their latest appeal. I cannot stress what a | :16:11. | :16:18.
magnificent job Martin has been doing for us. He has been | :16:18. | :16:21.
distributing 60,000 leaflets, shoving what our appeal is all | :16:21. | :16:26.
about. For the past 185 years, the RNLI has relied heavily on | :16:26. | :16:31.
volunteers to help raise awareness and funds. It is with this funds | :16:31. | :16:35.
they're able to afford boats like this. They never know when they may | :16:35. | :16:39.
be called into action, but thanks to people like Martin Adams, the | :16:39. | :16:42.
Arab ally will remain a well- equipped and able to respond when | :16:42. | :16:51.
the next call comes. This is our top story: 400 workers | :16:51. | :16:53.
at the Thamesteel plant in Sheerness have been told they are | :16:53. | :16:57.
losing their jobs and will not be paid this month. They were called | :16:57. | :17:00.
to a meeting today to be told they're being made redundant, after | :17:00. | :17:03.
the firm went into administration yesterday. | :17:03. | :17:09.
Also tonight: His Kent the most patriotic county in the UK? A | :17:09. | :17:12.
record number of applications are made to light beacons in | :17:12. | :17:18.
celebration of the Queen's Jubilee. And we had a wet start the day but | :17:18. | :17:26.
that soon cleared out to leave a dry day. Join me later for all the | :17:26. | :17:34.
details. Landlords in Brighton and Hove | :17:34. | :17:38.
could be forced to pay up to 700 for a licence if they want to rent | :17:38. | :17:42.
out a house to students. The city has a large student population and | :17:42. | :17:46.
there have been problems of some it lives with late night noise and | :17:46. | :17:50.
disruption. The council says a licence would help crack down on | :17:50. | :17:53.
that and ensure that month -- young people are provided with good | :17:53. | :17:58.
quality homes. But critics say it would push up the price of rent and | :17:58. | :18:03.
lead to a shortage of accommodation. John, how might this scheme work in | :18:03. | :18:08.
practice? Under the new proposals, if a landlord has more than three | :18:08. | :18:14.
tenants and a property in certain designated parts of the city, he or | :18:14. | :18:17.
she will have to apply to the Council for a licence. The property | :18:17. | :18:21.
will have to meet certain specific standards. The council hopes it | :18:21. | :18:25.
will dry about rogue landlords, the kind that does not care if a tenant | :18:25. | :18:32.
is causing a nuisance. There are 35,000 students studying Brighton, | :18:32. | :18:36.
many of them living in private, rented accommodation in the city, | :18:36. | :18:42.
like this three-storey house. is one of the properties that | :18:42. | :18:45.
Bayern. There are three tenants in here, he would fall under the new | :18:45. | :18:50.

modifications of the new licensing system gets approved. It is going | :18:57. | :19:03.
to be costly. On a larger properties, it could be up to | :19:03. | :19:08.
7,000 for a landlord to get a property through licensed. I don't | :19:08. | :19:12.
think it would be quite as much on the smaller properties, but still | :19:12. | :19:16.
enough to make landlords need to recoup that through higher rent, | :19:16. | :19:21.
which is not looking after the tense' interest by the. | :19:21. | :19:24.
licensing student accommodation, the council hopes to tackle noise | :19:24. | :19:29.
problems. But this woman is sceptical. She says she was forced | :19:29. | :19:35.
to sleep in her car because of noisy students who lived next door. | :19:35. | :19:39.
You must make those people accountable. Landlords, parents of | :19:39. | :19:43.
the students, the students themselves and the universities. No | :19:43. | :19:46.
fresher should be allowed to live in these houses. They should all be | :19:46. | :19:51.
on campus. Responsible students are worried about the possibility of | :19:51. | :19:56.
rising rents and an increasing shortage of homes. Also, the | :19:56. | :19:59.
council's desire to limit the number of student homes in certain | :19:59. | :20:04.
parts of the city. Students a very important part of the community in | :20:04. | :20:12.
Brighton. Without Alf -- without a viable alternative but it would | :20:12. | :20:16.
decrease the quality of housing and increase the price. But Brighton | :20:16. | :20:20.
and Hove council believes there are benefits to students and longer | :20:20. | :20:28.
term residents. This would benefit the community, where it is about | :20:28. | :20:32.
the litter and the noise. Not all students caused problems and not | :20:32. | :20:36.
all the problems are caused by students either, but we do want to | :20:36. | :20:41.
be able to control it and perhaps deal with it more quickly. The new | :20:41. | :20:47.
licensing regime is now open for public consultation. As well as to | :20:47. | :20:51.
tearing rogue landlords by licensing student lets, the council | :20:51. | :20:54.
will be aware of who was responsible for each and every | :20:54. | :20:58.
property. If there is a property in the future, the council hopes it | :20:58. | :21:08.
:21:08. | :21:13. | ||
can deal with that problem quicker In June, the Queen will celebrate | :21:13. | :21:17.
60 years on the throne with spectacular diamond Jubilee | :21:17. | :21:22.
celebrations. Gent looks set to claim the title of Britain's most | :21:22. | :21:26.
patriotic county. A 79 applications to light a Jubilee beacons have | :21:26. | :21:30.
already been approved in Kent, more than anywhere else in the | :21:30. | :21:37.
Commonwealth, with Sussex close behind. Royal wedding fever was | :21:37. | :21:47.
Elton full force last year -- was out in full force. Now, it seems | :21:47. | :21:53.
Kent has made the most applications to light the Jubilee beacons than | :21:53. | :21:56.
anywhere else in the country. And this quaint village near Canterbury | :21:57. | :22:02.
is one such place hoping to mark the Queen's 60 years on the throne. | :22:02. | :22:10.
But the idea that the beacons will blaze at 12 ft above the ground | :22:10. | :22:15.
might be concerned. We will do a risk assessment on the day to make | :22:15. | :22:20.
sure we have got the wind direction right can we will not destroyed | :22:20. | :22:24.
their 1,200 year-old church. This beacon was last lit for the golden | :22:24. | :22:34.
:22:34. | :22:35. | ||
Jubilee. It takes its place in the village life now since the last | :22:35. | :22:45.
Jubilee. I think the village people enjoy it, it is a gathering place. | :22:45. | :22:55.
:22:55. | :23:00. | ||
And this more than landmark -- and this landmark, hopefully the | :23:00. | :23:05.
beacons should be seen from all across the town. Kent and Sussex | :23:05. | :23:14.
have 10 % of all the beacons so far. We have got just over 1,600 beacons. | :23:14. | :23:18.
We're confident with Kent already leading the way that we will at | :23:18. | :23:27.
least get 2012. This tradition has been used for hundreds of years. | :23:27. | :23:32.
Beacons have become a symbol of unity and celebration, and with | :23:32. | :23:35.
almost 160 across Kent and Sussex, it looks as though the south-east | :23:35. | :23:45.
will be seen to be leading the way. A packed year ahead. Yes, we will | :23:45. | :23:48.
get a summer of street parties again. | :23:48. | :23:55.
In football, poor mutt are thought to be chasing Will Hoskins, but the | :23:55. | :24:01.
club would deny they have had a bid to accepted for the player -- | :24:01. | :24:06.
Bournemouth. Will Hoskins says he only joined in the seagulls in the | :24:06. | :24:12.
summer and he is concentrating on scoring goals in the championship. | :24:12. | :24:16.
We are being told that the port of Dover is now fully open. | :24:16. | :24:20.
7th February is the two hundredth anniversary of Charles Dickens' | :24:20. | :24:24.
birth, and from tomorrow, in a series of films and beaches, we | :24:24. | :24:27.
will tell the story of one of the greatest of English novelists and | :24:27. | :24:37.

when we will tell you how you can join us for a special screening of | :25:10. | :25:13.

Cathedral on Friday the tent the peppery. And my piece, which I have | :25:19. | :25:25.
been delighted to make, will be on air tomorrow. Let's find out what | :25:25. | :25:31.
the weather will be doing. Good evening. A wet start of the day. | :25:31. | :25:35.
That rain cleared and we were left with plenty of winter sunshine but | :25:35. | :25:41.
some scattered showers. The showers stay with us through the night. The | :25:41. | :25:47.
best of any brightness tomorrow is likely through the morning. Today, | :25:48. | :25:51.
this cold front was clearing eastwards through the morning. | :25:51. | :25:54.
Behind it can have some scattered showers but some blue skies around | :25:54. | :26:01.
as well. Temperatures a little bit down on here today. In Brighton, | :26:01. | :26:11.

highs of nine degrees. True tonight, we hold on to those clear skies and | :26:13. | :26:22.
scattered showers. -- through tonight. Temperatures will drop to | :26:22. | :26:28.
freezing. Tomorrow, a touch of ground frost with plenty of winter | :26:28. | :26:34.
sunshine through the morning. Those winds are still from the westerly | :26:34. | :26:40.
direction, slightly easing off. Temperatures still around average | :26:40. | :26:43.
for the time of year can have ranging between six and eight | :26:44. | :26:53.

degrees. True tomorrow night, a similar story. Showers eventually | :26:55. | :26:59.
dying out. Temperatures, a little bit cooler than they have been of | :26:59. | :27:04.
late. We start the day on Saturday with a faster. Plenty of winter | :27:04. | :27:14.

sunshine around. -- with a frost. Colder air will come in from the | :27:19. | :27:27. |
