Hello, I'm Sally Taylor. Welcome to South Today. In tonight's | :00:06. | :00:10.
programme: Tributes to the teenager stabbed to death while on holiday | :00:10. | :00:19.
with his friends in Greece. He was a real gentleman. We just | :00:19. | :00:23.
could not believe it. It is a terrible tragedy. | :00:23. | :00:25.
Plans are revealed for our coastguard centres - the government | :00:25. | :00:28.
announces new proposals for the south. | :00:28. | :00:30.
The health warning over a drug designed to protect your bones - | :00:30. | :00:38.
but which can lead to them snapping in two. I can honestly tell you I | :00:38. | :00:48.
have been to hell and back. It has been really devastating. We are at | :00:48. | :00:52.
a new training facility in Hampshire designed to teach sailors | :00:52. | :01:02.
how to cope with the rigours of the front line in Afghanistan. | :01:02. | :01:04.
The family of a Hampshire teenager stabbed to death while on holiday | :01:04. | :01:07.
in Greece have flown out to the island of Zakynthos, to see the | :01:07. | :01:13.
place where he died, and to make arrangements to bring home his body. | :01:13. | :01:17.
Robert Sebbage from Tadley was 18. He'd been with a group of friends | :01:17. | :01:20.
from Queen Mary College in Basingstoke. Greek police have | :01:20. | :01:24.
arrested a taxi driver over the incident. As Allen Sinclair reports, | :01:24. | :01:26.
the youngster had battled health problems and four years ago, | :01:26. | :01:29.
stepped out as England mascot at Wembley, hand in hand with David | :01:29. | :01:39.
:01:39. | :01:40. | ||
Beckham. In it and life cut tragically short, | :01:40. | :01:47.
this must rank as the proudest moment. 14 year-old Robert Wareing | :01:47. | :01:52.
the England colours alongside David Beckham. His grief stricken family | :01:52. | :02:00.
have asked for privacy at this time. But at that time Robert had stepped | :02:00. | :02:07.
in to tell us about meeting as superstar. I'd that the lads at | :02:07. | :02:14.
school are jealous. They all wanted to trade places with me on that day. | :02:14. | :02:19.
And to shake my hand. Robert was a keen footballer and had shown | :02:19. | :02:23.
determination to overcome a sometimes distressing medical | :02:23. | :02:27.
condition. He had been on holiday together with a group of four | :02:27. | :02:32.
college friends, his first time a weight without his parents. Reports | :02:32. | :02:38.
say his group got into an argument with a local taxi driver. All five | :02:38. | :02:48.
:02:48. | :02:52. | ||
men received stab wounds. Robert's was fatal. But there was shock and | :02:52. | :02:57.
people were saddened by the news. Robert's family have now flown out | :02:57. | :03:04.
to the Greek island. The teenager was well known and well liked. At | :03:04. | :03:08.
his former secondary-school they are planning to hold a minute's | :03:08. | :03:13.
silence in his memory tomorrow. His passion for football will also be | :03:13. | :03:21.
reflected next week with a minute of silence at the school sports day. | :03:21. | :03:26.
He is not a man who was aggressive, he was a real gentleman. We could | :03:26. | :03:33.
not believe it. It is a terrible tragedy. This may have been the | :03:33. | :03:37.
last picture taken of Robert but a girl he met on holiday. There has | :03:37. | :03:44.
been an outpouring of grief on the Facebook page set up in his memory. | :03:44. | :03:46.
The government has announced its plans for the future of coastguard | :03:46. | :03:50.
centres around the country, with mixed fortunes in the south. | :03:50. | :03:52.
The control centre in Portland in Dorset will shut, but it's likely | :03:52. | :03:55.
that a new operational centre for the country will be set up in | :03:55. | :03:57.
Hampshire. Our reporter, Robert Hall, is outside the current | :03:57. | :04:04.
control centre at Lee on the Solent in Hampshire. | :04:05. | :04:10.
It has been a glorious and busy day on the Solent. This is a place | :04:10. | :04:14.
where leisure and shipping come into close contact so not | :04:14. | :04:17.
surprising that there has been a coastguard station here for many | :04:17. | :04:23.
years. The government have selected this area for this new national | :04:24. | :04:26.
rescue co-ordination Centre, a planned they say they arrived at | :04:26. | :04:31.
after listening to the views of the public. In a maritime nation if | :04:31. | :04:36.
there is one subject calculated to cause fierce public debate, it is | :04:36. | :04:40.
that of safety around or shore line. From the moment the review was | :04:40. | :04:44.
first announced communities all over the country have signed | :04:44. | :04:49.
petitions and mounted protests. Today they waited anxiously to find | :04:49. | :04:53.
out whether those representations had been heeded. These pictures | :04:53. | :04:56.
illustrate all too clearly the service the public have grown used | :04:56. | :04:59.
to and expect, as serve as the Government believes is ready for | :05:00. | :05:04.
change. The plan was for the creation of two Maritime co- | :05:04. | :05:09.
ordination centres on the Solent and in Aberdeen, with the loss of | :05:09. | :05:14.
10 full-time coastguard stations. But in a change of heart the | :05:14. | :05:16.
Transport Secretary told Commons that Hampshire alone would now be | :05:16. | :05:22.
at the heart of the operation. Solent station will effectively | :05:22. | :05:27.
give way to the marine operations centre which will be located | :05:27. | :05:33.
somewhere in the Portsmouth - Southampton Region. There was | :05:33. | :05:39.
disappointment for campaigners. Staff here have helped deal with | :05:39. | :05:45.
countless emergencies along the south coast. Portland along with | :05:45. | :05:50.
the seven other stations will close. The question is whether new | :05:50. | :05:53.
national co-ordination centre will be sited. The MP for Gosport | :05:53. | :05:57.
believes the choices of the EST. The government have said the want | :05:57. | :06:07.
it to be between Portsmouth and Southampton. This is the biggest | :06:07. | :06:11.
should be made in the UK. Coastguard Agency have already | :06:11. | :06:15.
stressed that they would always be there when needed regardless of the | :06:15. | :06:22.
changes. People who go sailing are in the main Derry says people but | :06:22. | :06:31.
things can still go wrong. -- in the main very safe people. | :06:31. | :06:34.
government will now work with other agencies to underline that | :06:34. | :06:41.
reassurance. What this is not about his helicopters. The helicopters | :06:41. | :06:48.
will still operate from here. It is about jobs - about 25 important. | :06:48. | :06:55.
But the new centre will take about 96 staff, so that is important. | :06:55. | :06:59.
Still questions over emergency towing vehicles. So a lot of | :06:59. | :07:03.
talking still to do before the plans are put into effect. | :07:03. | :07:06.
Seven men have been charged in connection with the New Year riot | :07:06. | :07:09.
at Ford Open Prison in West Sussex. A number of buildings were burnt to | :07:09. | :07:11.
the ground during the disturbances. Specially trained prison staff in | :07:11. | :07:13.
body armour eventually quelled the trouble, which at its height | :07:13. | :07:16.
involved around 40 inmates. The seven men charged will appear | :07:16. | :07:20.
before Chichester Magistrates on July 29th. | :07:20. | :07:23.
Five billion pounds over the next ten years. The investment to | :07:23. | :07:26.
transform the Great Western railway line through the Thames Valley is | :07:26. | :07:29.
the biggest transport project in the region for decades. It's also | :07:29. | :07:32.
expected to generate at least double that amount for the wider | :07:32. | :07:38.
economy, as new electric trains and upgraded tracks are completed. | :07:38. | :07:40.
The importance of the project was underlined at London's Paddington | :07:40. | :07:42.
station today, from where our Transport Correspondent Paul | :07:42. | :07:52.
:07:52. | :07:52. | ||
Clifton reports. Here is what Network Rail thinks | :07:52. | :07:57.
the Great Western will look like in future. With new InterCity trains | :07:57. | :08:01.
provide hadji, a lecture vocation, a new signalling, and huge of great | :08:01. | :08:07.
in and around Reading. It adds up to 5 billion of investment over 10 | :08:07. | :08:11.
years. But the wider economic benefits are forecast to be double | :08:11. | :08:15.
that. Faster passenger journeys will make the area at more | :08:15. | :08:20.
attractive to investors from outside. The greater connectivity | :08:20. | :08:25.
was London will enhance the economy. Eventually 50% more people will | :08:25. | :08:30.
travel on the Great Western. A tall order because east of Reading, it | :08:30. | :08:33.
already has some of the most overcrowded trains in the country. | :08:33. | :08:39.
It is true that CrossRail and the InterCity express trains are some | :08:39. | :08:42.
way off. We are working on a scheme to bring capacity into the business | :08:42. | :08:51.
in the next few months. It will be disruptive. Reading station and the | :08:51. | :08:57.
project to me -- to ease the biggest bottleneck, is under way. | :08:57. | :09:00.
The benefits will come because the electric trains will carry more | :09:00. | :09:06.
people. The signalling will allow up more frequent trains. And the | :09:06. | :09:10.
whole network should be more reliable. At Paddington it was not | :09:10. | :09:15.
a champagne launch, just lemonade, a sign of tighter times. This is | :09:15. | :09:19.
the biggest infrastructure project in the region by far for many years | :09:19. | :09:25.
to come. And the biggest revamp of the Great Western since Brunel | :09:25. | :09:28.
built it 175 years ago. Each element of this has already been | :09:28. | :09:33.
announced. There's nothing specifically new today but it does | :09:33. | :09:38.
pooled all the threads together, underlining the transformation it | :09:38. | :09:41.
will bring. The board of the pharmaceutical | :09:41. | :09:43.
company Novartis has confirmed hundreds of job losses at its site | :09:43. | :09:47.
at Horsham in West Sussex. The company has nearly 1,000 staff in | :09:47. | :09:51.
Horsham, where it is the town's largest private sector employer. | :09:51. | :09:54.
More than 300 people working on respiratory research will remain. | :09:54. | :09:57.
But most of the rest will leave, with some transferring to sites in | :09:57. | :10:07.
:10:07. | :10:15. | ||
Frimley, Cambridge and Switzerland. Still to come in this evening's | :10:15. | :10:18.
South Today: Fallen hero - but could Gazza be Bournemouth's lucky | :10:18. | :10:21.
charm? A 21-year-old has been charged with | :10:21. | :10:24.
the murder of a Bournemouth man who was found stabbed in the street. | :10:24. | :10:26.
Glyn Helliwell was discovered seriously injured in Southbourne | :10:26. | :10:30.
last week and died in hospital. Jake Brand, who is from Bournemouth, | :10:30. | :10:33.
will appear before magistrates tomorrow. Police are continuing | :10:33. | :10:38.
their appeal for witnesses. Detectives investigating the | :10:38. | :10:40.
disappearance of a man from Berkshire who's believed to have | :10:40. | :10:43.
been murdered with a friend on a visit to Cornwall say they've made | :10:43. | :10:48.
a significant find. They've been excavating land around a farm house | :10:48. | :10:50.
near St Austell in their search for David Griffiths, who lives in | :10:50. | :10:57.
Bracknell, and a man from Merseyside. Another man has been | :10:57. | :11:00.
arrested and is still being questioned by the police. Eleanor | :11:00. | :11:08.
Parkinson reports. This is the scene at a five acre | :11:08. | :11:14.
farm house hidden in the valley in the china clay mining area of St | :11:14. | :11:18.
Ulster. Police have been working with specially-trained victim | :11:18. | :11:22.
recovery dogs and equipment such as diggers. The house is next to a | :11:22. | :11:27.
campsite, its owner says he is shot. I was very surprised when all the | :11:27. | :11:32.
police turned up yesterday morning. I had never seen so many police in | :11:32. | :11:38.
my life. These are the men the police have been looking for. David | :11:38. | :11:42.
Griffiths and Brett for Nouri, a former boxer. They have not been | :11:42. | :11:46.
seen for a month. Today the police held a media briefing and said they | :11:46. | :11:52.
had made a significant find. You say you have been excavating on | :11:52. | :11:55.
this farm and have made a significant find. What might that | :11:55. | :12:02.
be? At the moment it is too early to say. There are specialist search | :12:02. | :12:07.
teams still out at the farm and officers will be engaged late into | :12:07. | :12:13.
tonight and probably tomorrow in excavating certain areas. | :12:13. | :12:18.
police at the County's headquarters in Bockman say this is a fast- | :12:18. | :12:22.
moving inquiry. They say they have around 50 people working on the | :12:22. | :12:26.
case, 40 detectives and many specialist search officers. There | :12:26. | :12:30.
are also trying to trace the vehicle driven by the two men, off- | :12:30. | :12:37.
white fan. The surge of the farm and the surrounding land continues. | :12:37. | :12:40.
-- the search. A Hampshire woman has suffered two | :12:40. | :12:43.
broken legs, after the medication she was taking to strengthen her | :12:43. | :12:48.
bones had disastrous side effects. Dr Pearl Hetti-Erarchy has | :12:48. | :12:52.
osteoporosis. She broke her right leg just days after a health agency | :12:52. | :12:57.
warning about the drug she'd been taking for nine years. She now | :12:57. | :13:00.
wants patients to be better advised about the risks involved. Here's | :13:00. | :13:07.
our Health Correspondent, David Fenton. | :13:07. | :13:09.
Dr Pearl Hettiararchy was just recovering from one broken leg when | :13:10. | :13:12.
she broke the other, doing nothing more than lifting an umbrella in | :13:12. | :13:19.
her daughter's kitchen. As I keeled over, I realised I had broken | :13:19. | :13:27.
someting and realised it was my right leg. When I went to the X-Ray, | :13:27. | :13:32.
they were so surprised. Both fractures were identical, all was | :13:32. | :13:36.
mirror images of each other. She'd been taking a drug called | :13:36. | :13:39.
alendronate. Many people use it for osteoporosis, but in some cases it | :13:39. | :13:45.
can break bones, rather than heal them. They snap clean across, | :13:45. | :13:52.
usually at the thighbone as this X- ray shows. These fractures almost | :13:52. | :13:56.
always require pinning and has been shown to cause delayed healing | :13:56. | :14:02.
which requires further surgical procedures. About three million | :14:02. | :14:06.
people in the UK have osteoporosis, mostly women. Many of them will be | :14:06. | :14:10.
on this medication. About one in 1,000 will suffer unexpected broken | :14:10. | :14:15.
bones as a result. But the medication will prevent about 100 | :14:15. | :14:24.
fractures in other patients. The balance of evidence does seem | :14:24. | :14:28.
to be get taking these drugs for 10 years or more does increase the | :14:28. | :14:33.
risk of this kind of Fracture, which is actually very rare. So my | :14:33. | :14:38.
advice would be if you have been on this kind of drug for 10 years, you | :14:38. | :14:42.
should ask your doctor to review the situation to see whether it you | :14:42. | :14:46.
should continue or not. Pearl is now recovering, and exercises every | :14:46. | :14:54.
day. I can honestly tell you I has been to hell and back. It has been | :14:54. | :14:58.
devastating. But she believes many patients have no idea of the risks | :14:58. | :15:05.
their medication involves and the potential harm it can do. | :15:05. | :15:07.
The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry said the | :15:07. | :15:11.
benefits of any medicine should outweigh the risks. It added: "In | :15:11. | :15:13.
the unfortunate event that a patient suffers a serious side | :15:13. | :15:15.
effect, it is crucial that the physician reassesses the | :15:15. | :15:24.
situation." Royal Navy sailors being switched from ships to | :15:24. | :15:27.
Afghanistan are learning about the realities of life on the front line | :15:27. | :15:33.
at a new training base in Hampshire. The Navy has built a replica of an | :15:33. | :15:36.
Afghan style fort to teach sailors the skills they'll need. At the | :15:36. | :15:39.
moment Royal Marines and sailors make up 40 per cent of the 9,000 | :15:39. | :15:45.
strong British force in Afghanistan. Steve Humphrey reports. | :15:45. | :15:49.
She's a trombonist in the Royal Marines Band. But before Rachel | :15:49. | :15:52.
Botham goes to Afghanistan to entertain the troops, she needs to | :15:52. | :16:02.
:16:02. | :16:02. | ||
learn how to live and fight on the front line. | :16:02. | :16:06.
It has been very thorough, we have learnt pretty much everything we | :16:06. | :16:11.
need to know should be come under the worst possible scenario. You're | :16:11. | :16:14.
under a lot of pressure? Yes. Shoulder to shoulder with Rachel on | :16:14. | :16:20.
this training course are Naval aircrew, radio operators and medics. | :16:20. | :16:25.
It is ideal because it gives you the chance to understand what sort | :16:25. | :16:30.
of environment you will living. It is a big change from a ship but a | :16:30. | :16:37.
bit of variety is mice in the job. Everything is designed to be as | :16:37. | :16:44.
realistic as possible. And they also have to learn to treat some | :16:44. | :16:52.
very seriously injured men. package they go through is an zero | :16:52. | :16:55.
to hero type of mentality transformation that they go through. | :16:55. | :17:02.
We expect a lot and where not disappointed. At the moment there | :17:02. | :17:07.
are just over 2,000 Royal Marines and sailors in Afghanistan. To make | :17:07. | :17:09.
the training as realistic as possible, this Afghan-style forward | :17:09. | :17:11.
operating base has built at Longmoor Camp near Liss in | :17:11. | :17:18.
Hampshire. They're coming up against stiff opposition and we are | :17:18. | :17:20.
looking to see that they're carrying out the correct procedure | :17:20. | :17:30.
:17:30. | :17:33. | ||
when they come into contact with the enemy. In a few weeks, they'll | :17:33. | :17:36.
be facing real dangers in Afghanistan. | :17:36. | :17:38.
This summer, BBC Radio Solent is celebrating the wonder of water | :17:38. | :17:40.
across the South. You'll be hearing from people who live, work and | :17:40. | :17:43.
relax on the water as part of the station's "Summer Splash". This | :17:43. | :17:47.
week we meet Steve Barnes. He's a fisherman and he works for land | :17:47. | :17:51.
owners whose lakes are too full of fish. Currently he's working at the | :17:51. | :18:01.
:18:01. | :18:07. | ||
Blashford lakes near Ringwood. We has been asked by Bourne was | :18:07. | :18:14.
water to come. The fishing equipment that we use is designed | :18:14. | :18:19.
purposely to stun fish. Equivalent of that is if you have ever touched | :18:19. | :18:23.
a cattle fence, you get a small shock. That is what happens with | :18:23. | :18:30.
the fish. We have five seconds then to actually net than before the | :18:30. | :18:35.
nervous system is back in action. We do not kill fish at all, our | :18:35. | :18:40.
Business is to transfer at the live fish to make sure they are we house | :18:40. | :18:49.
safely and humanely. Fish today are actually going up to Catterick. In | :18:49. | :18:55.
the last six weeks we have moved over four tons of carp. Our best | :18:55. | :19:05.
:19:05. | :19:08. | ||
guess so far is there are at least another 8 to move. -- 8 tonnes. It | :19:08. | :19:15.
is not as easy as it looks! It is hard work, it is very tiring work. | :19:15. | :19:23.
A typical day would be 14 hours. But there is great satisfaction and | :19:23. | :19:28.
plenty of opportunity for us. And you can discover more stories | :19:28. | :19:30.
of life on the water by tuning into the Breakfast show at 7.25 tomorrow | :19:30. | :19:40.

morning on BBC Radio Solent. We're going to be talking to Paul | :19:46. | :19:50.
Gascoigne in among it. One of the great players but as often with | :19:50. | :19:55.
someone who has that touch of genius, there is a floor as well as | :19:55. | :20:02.
he himself would quite happily admit. He's building a new life for | :20:02. | :20:07.
himself very quietly and very successfully and helping AFC | :20:07. | :20:10.
Bournemouth. London 2012 might be just round the | :20:10. | :20:13.
corner, but another kind of Olympics took place today - the | :20:13. | :20:17.
Portsmouth Schools Beach Olympics. The sports day involved 10 | :20:17. | :20:22.
different schools and was staged on Southsea Common. But big events | :20:23. | :20:25.
like this may become more rare, as schools see over half of their | :20:25. | :20:30.
sports budget cut by the government in the Autumn. Dani Sinha reports. | :20:30. | :20:33.
A sports day with a difference. 300 pupils got a chance to sample | :20:33. | :20:35.
different activities on Southsea Common today, with each school | :20:35. | :20:40.
representing a different country. But the Portsmouth School Beach | :20:40. | :20:43.
Olympics isn't just about sport. Key community groups such as the | :20:44. | :20:46.
fire service, lifeguards and a healthy eating agency were there to | :20:46. | :20:48.
give schoolchildren an all round education, passing on safety tips | :20:48. | :20:58.
:20:58. | :21:05. | ||
wherever possible. It has been fabulous. We tried fire-fighting | :21:05. | :21:11.
and put on all of the equipment. has been merely fun. Really | :21:11. | :21:16.
interesting. These bags are not the only thing to get a bashing. In the | :21:16. | :21:17.
Autumn, the School Sports Partnership funding also will be | :21:17. | :21:20.
hit by more than half. And it will be up to the individual school to | :21:21. | :21:29.
spend that money on sport or not. An event like this takes a lot of | :21:29. | :21:32.
organisation and the new funding will not allow the time for someone | :21:32. | :21:37.
to organise an event like this. So we will either have to charge | :21:37. | :21:41.
schools which will prove a barrier. The government has promised 65 | :21:41. | :21:44.
million for the next academic year to promote competitve sport. But | :21:44. | :21:47.
they now want programmes to be led by schools and parents, not by top- | :21:47. | :21:51.
down policies from Whitehall. Just as volleyball is all about the | :21:51. | :21:54.
touch, this event is hoping to leave a mark on the children who | :21:54. | :22:04.
:22:04. | :22:07. | ||
attend. In cricket, Surrey's Twenty20 South | :22:07. | :22:10.
Group match against Kent is due to be getting underway around now at | :22:10. | :22:13.
The Oval. While Sussex wrapped up a five wicket win over Hampshire on | :22:13. | :22:17.
the final day of the County Championship match at Hove. England | :22:17. | :22:19.
wicketkeeper, Matt Prior, made an unbeaten 97 to lift Sussex to 4th | :22:19. | :22:22.
in the Division One table. Hampshire's abysmal Championship | :22:22. | :22:27.
form sees them marooned at the bottom - still without a win. | :22:27. | :22:29.
They've had five defeats and three draws from their eight matches so | :22:29. | :22:34.
far. A sponsorship deal worth a quarter | :22:34. | :22:37.
of a million pounds will cover all the costs of AFC Bournemouth's pre- | :22:37. | :22:41.
season international tournament this weekend. The club is hosting | :22:41. | :22:43.
Locomotive Moscow, FC Saarbrucken and the Glenn Hoddle Academy at | :22:43. | :22:50.
Dean Court. And the guest of honour will be one of English football's | :22:50. | :22:53.
fallen stars, whose rehabilitation has brought him to Dorset - as | :22:53. | :23:03.
:23:03. | :23:04. | ||
Laurence Herdman reports. Paul Gascoigne's talents thrilled | :23:04. | :23:09.
crowds around the world. But his well-publicised problems with | :23:09. | :23:12.
alcohol have brought him to Bournemouth - and the chance to | :23:12. | :23:21.
rebuild his life. I have been here seven months. It is really nice, | :23:21. | :23:25.
people Bath made me very welcome. Gazza's was a familiar face Dean | :23:25. | :23:32.
Court last season. And he's become a keen Cherries fan. Every time I | :23:32. | :23:38.
went they scored three goals. I might be a lucky mascot! The former | :23:38. | :23:46.
England star has also helped coach local youngsters. I said other Any | :23:47. | :23:54.
Questions and one kid asked what it was like when I won the World Cup. | :23:54. | :24:01.
He said, when you played in 1966! The fans will flock back to Dean | :24:01. | :24:03.
Court this weekend. But today's stars will be joined by a brighter | :24:03. | :24:13.
:24:13. | :24:15. | ||
one who's got his sparkle back. He looked well. And clearly | :24:15. | :24:21.
enjoying life down the south coast. He cycles about 20 miles a day. He | :24:21. | :24:30.
looked really well. He has lived his life in the headlines. On the | :24:30. | :24:40.
:24:40. | :24:40. | ||
evidence of that he is just an nice evidence of that he is just an nice | :24:40. | :24:47.
man. We had a little bit of summit today. | :24:47. | :24:52.
And some lovely pictures as well. Take a look at what Paul Hancock | :24:52. | :24:56.
found. Hiding in a field of flax at West Stoke near Chichester. What is | :24:56. | :25:04.
The Roe Buck in Dennis Whitfields Orchard is trying camouflage, and a | :25:04. | :25:12.
perfect place to hide in. A new crop circle near Stonehenge. Taken | :25:12. | :25:22.
by John Biscomb. A lovely day here and a fight end | :25:22. | :25:27.
to the day. War in the wake of sunshine for many of us this | :25:27. | :25:36.
evening. Clear spells from much of the night and temperatures in the | :25:36. | :25:46.
:25:46. | :25:48. | ||
countryside especially taking a dip into single figures. On Friday | :25:48. | :25:56.
morning the sunshine is they're pretty early on. Norma in eastern | :25:56. | :26:01.
parts compared to today although cooler to the West because of this | :26:01. | :26:11.
:26:11. | :26:15. | ||
weakening front. Temperatures of around 22 degrees. Behind that | :26:15. | :26:21.
front is a deepening low driving in France through Friday, Saturday and | :26:21. | :26:29.
Sunday. This is what it looks like on the map. Arriving in Dorset in | :26:29. | :26:34.
the evening. But further east becoming patchy. Then there is | :26:34. | :26:38.
another band of rain overnight, leading to some significant | :26:38. | :26:48.
:26:48. | :26:52. | ||
rainfall. By Saturday the rain is already in place. A potential 15 mm | :26:52. | :26:58.
of rain falls locally. On Sunday, again quite a few showers. And | :26:58. | :27:05.
Saturday night into Sunday, very windy conditions. And much cooler | :27:05. | :27:14.
as well because of all that cloud and windy conditions. Enjoy Friday | :27:14. | :27:24.
