Good evening. I'm Allen Sinclair with the news from the south.

A man and a woman from Gosport remain in police custody following

the death of a six-year-old girl who had been camping in the New

Forest. Emergency services were called to the Holmsley Enclosure

shortly after midnight. A murder inquiry is now under way. Roisin

Gauson reports. Forensic teams move in to try to

piece together exactly what happened in this tent last night.

All the sudden, all we heard this car horn that kept conking. It was

constant. Someone was trying to get some attention. There was a lot of

screaming as well. Security remains tight, as police

continue their enquiries. It is important that a thorough job is

done. We will continue to work with the owners here and the people who

run this campsite. We want to minimise disruption for people.

There was a subdued atmosphere throughout the day as families came

to terms with the news. Many chose to cut short their breaks - while

others relocated to campsites elsewhere within the New Forest.

A Post mortem has been carried out on the six-year-old's body this

afternoon, but she's unlikely to be formally named until tomorrow.

Police are expected to remain on site overnight while investigations

continue. A block of flats in Didcot in

Oxfordshire had to be evacuated this morning, after fire broke out

on the top floor. 30 residents were rescued by fire crews, after flames

took hold in the early hours of this morning at a flat in Venners

Water on the Ladygrove estate. Two people were taken to hospital, but

there were no serious injuries. The cause of the fire isn't yet known.

I was asleep on the silver just after 5 o'clock. My girlfriend came

running and screaming saying that building was on fire. I went into

the bedroom and saw flames coming out of the top of the building. I

immediately told her to break the kids up and I ran out, abandon all

my neighbour's doors and woke them up to get a mite. I grabbed my kids

and SVRs got out. A company which delivers oxygen to

people with health problems has apologised after it struggled to

cope and left many people worried about their supply. Dolby Vivisol

has just taken over the contract. Roger Finn reports.

Alexia Pearce in Petersfield depends upon a weekly delivery of

oxygen for her four-year-old son, Nathan. He has chronic lung disease

as a result of a premature birth and needs oxygen all through the

night. When Dolby Vivisol took over deliveries last week, Alexia found

it very difficult to reach them to discuss her order. When she finally

did, she was met with confusion. They are chasing their tails.

Nobody knows what is going on. I do not have any fears that my son's

oxygen requirements are taken seriously or taken correctly.

The company has now apologised and in a joint statement by Dolby

Vivisol and NHS Hampshire, they say, "Since taking over, call levels

have been higher than anticipated across the region. This has been

due to a number of factors, including the recent warm weather.

Dolby Vivisol has recruited additional staff to help minimise

delays in speaking to a customer service advisor." How has this left

you feeling? A bit distressed. A bit disheartened. I am feeling

worried for other people who are in similar situations to me.

Football, and the Royals are at the top of the Championship tonight

after a hard fought home win against Leeds. Their continuing

rise has now nudged Saints into second place, but Reading's time as

league leaders could be short-lived, of fouls, with Leeds down to ten

men and earning a clutch of yellow cards to add to the early red for

Zac Thompson. Despite numerical advantage for most of the match,

Reading struggled to gain the upper hand. But the deadlock was finally

broken in the 83rd minute with this effort from substitute Adam Le

Fondre. Six minutes later and he It is a different way of winning.

If you're going to do anything in life for football, you have to have

different ways of dealing with things. We dealt with things well

today. Leeds tactics were not very pleasant, but it was a good result.

Reading's mantra has been one game at a time. Although the tussle for

top spot resumes when Saints play tomorrow, for tonight at least, the

Royals are in pole position for promotion.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Brighton stay in the play off

positions in sixth, despite losing 1-0 at Burnley.

Meanwhile, Southampton can reclaim top spot if they win tomorrow's

south coast derby with Portsmouth. It was honours-even when the sides

met at Fratton Park in December. But beyond the normal local rivalry,

the match is of particular significance for both sides, with

Pompey trying to avoid relegation, and Saints pushing for a return to

the Premier League. Both teams need three points. Opposite ends of the

table, they needed for their own cause. They are our biggest rivals.

It is important that we concentrate on high be beat Southampton. And

not have to win the game. In League One, Wycombe are still in

the relegation zone, after drawing at home with Carlisle. And in

League Two, Swindon have a five point lead at the top after beating

Morecambe. Crawley are still in the promotion hunt after drawing to

Crewe. Aldershot lost 2-1 to Port Vale.

Good evening. We have seen the cloud building through the course

of today. Early on, still one or two holes in the Clyde. Perhaps a

touch too much of the side. Tonight, it will continue to build and

thicken, producing one a two spits and spots of light rain and drizzle,
