Will patients be at risk? Two prominent local figures add their | :00:30. | :00:38.
weight to proposed health reforms. Good evening. A former hospital | :00:38. | :00:41.
boss says he fears the drive to save money will overshadow | :00:41. | :00:43.
standards of care. Also on Spotlight tonight: The | :00:43. | :00:45.
bogus teacher from Brixham. Investigations continue into the | :00:45. | :00:47.
grading of exam papers after a woman admits forging her degree | :00:47. | :00:49.
certificate. The Devon village planning to | :00:49. | :00:51.
battle a pig farm the size of three football pitches. | :00:51. | :00:58.
And why dozens of enthusiasts are flocking to see this duck. | :00:58. | :01:01.
Two high profile figures in the South West have warned that the | :01:01. | :01:05.
Government's health reforms will put patient care at risk. As the | :01:05. | :01:08.
Prime Minister held a summit of health professionals to discuss the | :01:08. | :01:11.
Health and Social Care Bill, the Bishop of Exeter and a leading | :01:11. | :01:13.
academic and former hospital boss have voiced fears that standards of | :01:13. | :01:17.
care and safety could fall, in the drive to save money and increase | :01:17. | :01:23.
privatisation in the NHS. With me now is our Health Correspondent. | :01:23. | :01:27.
The Health and Social Care Bill is causing massive divisions in the | :01:27. | :01:37.
government and the NHS. Just remind us what is going on. | :01:37. | :01:41.
It wants to cut costs by opening things up to more competition so | :01:41. | :01:46.
there would be more independent providers providing services. A lot | :01:46. | :01:53.
of people are criticising it. The Royal College of Nursing and the | :01:53. | :01:57.
Royal College of GPs, and today, another senior academic has joined | :01:57. | :02:06.
the debate. He says that the plan to restructure the NHS is going to | :02:06. | :02:13.
cause damage to patient care. what we have at the moment is a | :02:13. | :02:18.
plan to save 20 billion whilst at the same time the NHS is being | :02:18. | :02:22.
reorganised and reconstructed. If you were trying to save money and | :02:22. | :02:26.
make it more efficient you need some stability and the system to | :02:26. | :02:31.
make these decisions. What we have now is a far from stability. We | :02:31. | :02:35.
have a huge turmoil and therefore people are making short-term | :02:35. | :02:40.
decisions which are making things more risky for the patients. | :02:40. | :02:44.
the Bishop of Exeter has expressed some concern. | :02:44. | :02:48.
He thinks that this could fragment patient care and it may not | :02:49. | :02:53.
necessarily provide the health and social care that people need. | :02:53. | :02:58.
not convinced that the Bill as yet has the methods that provide for | :02:58. | :03:03.
joined-up thinking in health care and social care for those groups. I | :03:03. | :03:11.
think the other danger is that we will have independent private | :03:11. | :03:16.
suppliers who bid for particular services and then cherry-pick. | :03:16. | :03:21.
Prime Minister held a summit today. What came out of that? | :03:21. | :03:25.
It caused a stir. The main health bodies that opposed the Bill were | :03:25. | :03:29.
not invited. David Cameron said that he felt that the Government | :03:29. | :03:34.
needed to do more to persuade people that this will actually help | :03:34. | :03:39.
patients. Choice for patients is a good thing. Integrated care is a | :03:39. | :03:44.
good thing. Making sure that GPs are making decisions is a good | :03:44. | :03:48.
thing. I have heard how on the ground some of these reforms are | :03:48. | :03:52.
taking place and you are actually seeing better outcomes, GPs doing | :03:52. | :03:57.
more things for their patients, people leading healthier lives as a | :03:57. | :04:05.
result. Thank you very much for keeping us up to date. | :04:05. | :04:08.
A court heard today how a bogus teacher may have over-marked GCSE | :04:08. | :04:10.
course work, leading to pupils having their results later | :04:10. | :04:14.
downgraded. Julia Rawlinson, who is 44 and from Brixham, worked for the | :04:14. | :04:17.
Edexcel exam board and at Westlands School in Torquay. From Exeter | :04:17. | :04:21.
Crown Court, our correspondent reports. | :04:21. | :04:25.
Julia Rawlinson used her home computer to forge degree | :04:25. | :04:30.
certificates. It helped her to get jobs marking hundreds of A-level | :04:30. | :04:35.
exam papers and later teaching A- level biology. Her fraud was | :04:35. | :04:38.
uncovered last year here at Westlands School after she got a | :04:38. | :04:43.
job as a biology teacher. Staff realised her qualifications were | :04:43. | :04:47.
photocopies and called in the police. The prosecutor told the | :04:47. | :04:51.
court that Julia Rawlinson had adversely affected the lives of | :04:51. | :04:56.
many young people at Westlands School in Torquay by over marking | :04:56. | :05:00.
their coursework which then had to be downgraded. He told the court | :05:00. | :05:06.
that they went into their exams thinking they had good results. But | :05:06. | :05:09.
the defender said that Julia Rawlinson did not mark the | :05:09. | :05:13.
coursework. He said it had been done externally and that their work | :05:13. | :05:17.
can sue -- sincere concerns about her mental health. Westlands School | :05:17. | :05:23.
said that Julia Rawlinson predicted student's coursework grades, which | :05:23. | :05:27.
turned out to be misleading. Students who do not get the grades | :05:27. | :05:32.
they had hoped for canal we do their work and have it submitted | :05:32. | :05:42.
:05:42. | :05:55. | ||
all over again. Julia Rawlinson admitted two | :05:55. | :06:01.
charges of fraud and she claimed to suffer from hallucinations. The | :06:01. | :06:07.
prosecution claimed that she was thoroughly dishonest. The judge | :06:07. | :06:11.
said that it was important to ascertain whether or not the course | :06:11. | :06:19.
work had been marked by Julia Rawlinson. | :06:19. | :06:22.
In the last hour dozens of angry residents have been converging on | :06:22. | :06:25.
Venn Ottery Church in East Devon to formulate their battle plans | :06:25. | :06:29.
against an indoor pig unit close to the village. The application to | :06:29. | :06:32.
house more than 740 pigs has already been thrown out by local | :06:32. | :06:35.
planners once, but two weeks ago another application was made. In a | :06:35. | :06:38.
moment we will be speaking to the farmer who put the proposals | :06:38. | :06:41.
forward. But first our reporter has been meeting those against his | :06:41. | :06:48.
plans. You join us over a logging of the | :06:48. | :06:53.
Vale, which some would argue is one of the most spectacular views in | :06:53. | :06:56.
the whole of East Devon. This is where the indoor pig farm is | :06:57. | :07:01.
planned, and to give you an idea of scale, the idea is roughly the size | :07:01. | :07:10.
of about three football pitches. It is these pigs, 740 to be precise, | :07:10. | :07:15.
he will be relocated to the new unit. Presently they are outdoors | :07:15. | :07:20.
and the proposals have raised welfare issues. These pigs will be | :07:20. | :07:23.
in 24 hours a day and they will never see a blade of grass or | :07:23. | :07:27.
daylight. I understand the need to feed the nation but this is not the | :07:27. | :07:32.
right way to go. I thought we were moving away from factory farming. | :07:33. | :07:37.
Development here was turned down by the local council in February last | :07:37. | :07:41.
year, but a few weeks ago, a new application was submitted. A apart | :07:41. | :07:47.
from the impact on the area of of outstanding natural beauty, there | :07:47. | :07:52.
are many news and 80 -- nuisances, such as noise. I do not think this | :07:52. | :07:59.
is the appropriate place for such a development. But residents fear | :07:59. | :08:01.
that new government planning policies may pave the way for | :08:01. | :08:06.
approval. It is difficult to see how under current planning | :08:06. | :08:10.
regulations it can get through because it was so comprehensively | :08:10. | :08:15.
rejected last time round. There are concerns there could be changes in | :08:15. | :08:18.
the planning framework and the next few months and we would hate to be | :08:18. | :08:21.
the first victims of that change. In the meantime, the opposition | :08:21. | :08:31.
:08:31. | :08:32. | ||
campaign is gaining momentum. The farmer who put these proposals | :08:32. | :08:38.
for word is here with us now. Why are you planning this in the middle | :08:39. | :08:41.
of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty? We have a few sites open to | :08:41. | :08:47.
us but we needed a new site. The minimum is 400 metres away from the | :08:47. | :08:52.
nearest dwelling. In east Devon, when you start looking at that, it | :08:52. | :08:56.
narrows down the site available. This is the only site that fits | :08:56. | :09:00.
that criteria and that is why we are here. I can understand that you | :09:00. | :09:04.
want to be a certain distance away from the nearest dwelling, but is | :09:04. | :09:11.
it fair to put it back close to other people's homes? We were | :09:11. | :09:16.
advised that it should be at least 400 metres. I believe we are 460 | :09:16. | :09:20.
metres away from the nearest dwelling and we feel that is the | :09:20. | :09:26.
criteria. We were not refused before. They are satisfied with | :09:26. | :09:34.
that side of things so we want to try and help with pig production in | :09:34. | :09:43.
this company for the shopper country. -- help with Piggott | :09:43. | :09:48.
reproduction in this country. We need to get the pig industry moving. | :09:48. | :09:53.
It is nice to buy local meat and it is almost to see the pigs enjoying | :09:53. | :09:58.
themselves, which they obviously have then, but to move them inside, | :09:58. | :10:08.
:10:08. | :10:09. | ||
is that not a farm -- form of a battery farm? Is it that a little | :10:09. | :10:15.
bit like chicken batteries? No, not at all. I think you hit the nail on | :10:15. | :10:21.
the head. He said he did not know much about it. A lot of people do | :10:21. | :10:27.
not know much about it. We have been employing this system for the | :10:27. | :10:34.
last 23 years. I enjoy my pig farming. We need to have a system | :10:34. | :10:39.
that is sustainable for the future of our business. If you consider | :10:39. | :10:43.
that in the last 10 years, 40 outdoor pig units have closed, now | :10:43. | :10:48.
there are only six in the area, it really is a difficult business to | :10:48. | :10:52.
make sustainable, and that is why I want to make this business work for | :10:52. | :10:57.
the future. Your application last year for the same idea was turned | :10:57. | :11:02.
down. What has changed? We have reduced the scale of the building | :11:02. | :11:09.
and have taken away one building. We have reduced it by 40 %. We have | :11:09. | :11:13.
used different materials and we have enhanced the planting scheme. | :11:13. | :11:23.
:11:23. | :11:27. | ||
Although the majority of the pigs will be outside in muds and in huts, | :11:27. | :11:31.
which on a nice day looks idyllic, but in the winter, it can be | :11:31. | :11:37.
severely difficult. This is why we are doing it. Thank you for your | :11:37. | :11:43.
time. The energy company EDF has said it | :11:43. | :11:46.
hopes anti nuclear protesters at Hinkley Point will leave of their | :11:46. | :11:52.
own accord. The group have been occupying an old farm building on | :11:52. | :11:55.
the site because they are angry EDF has starting preparing the area for | :11:55. | :11:57.
the building of a new reactor without full planning permission. | :11:57. | :12:01.
EDF says the work has been approved by the local council. Legal papers | :12:01. | :12:03.
have been served to evict the protestors. | :12:03. | :12:06.
Staff at a 17th century hotel in South Devon have been praised for | :12:06. | :12:09.
leading guests to safety following a chimney fire. An area around the | :12:09. | :12:12.
Royal Seven Stars in Totnes has been cordoned off because there are | :12:12. | :12:15.
worries the chimney stack might collapse. No one was hurt in the | :12:15. | :12:19.
fire. Developers have lost their appeal | :12:19. | :12:23.
to build more than 150 homes in East Devon. More than 600 people | :12:23. | :12:26.
objected to the development between Exmouth and Lympstone claiming it | :12:26. | :12:36.
:12:36. | :12:38. | ||
would ruin the landscape. Coming up: The housing association | :12:38. | :12:40.
tenants who have been without heating for five weeks. Plus: | :12:40. | :12:45.
What a weekend for the Pilgrims. We will reflect on all the action. | :12:45. | :12:51.
And thousands of miles from home, the very usual visitor to Cornwall. | :12:51. | :12:54.
A tenant farmer from Devon has lost his battle against eviction from | :12:54. | :12:58.
the home he has lived in for 60 years. The Court of Appeal ruled | :12:58. | :13:01.
against Brian Potter and in favour of a businessman who owns the farm. | :13:01. | :13:04.
Their six year legal fight is revealed in tonight's Inside Out | :13:04. | :13:14.
:13:14. | :13:14. | ||
Little Heath Farm. Despite the derelict state, Brian Potter wanted | :13:14. | :13:19.
to stay here for life. But the court ruled against them, so he has | :13:19. | :13:25.
to pack up and go. I just think the law is disgusting, if they can | :13:25. | :13:30.
suddenly turn someone out of their job and their life and their home. | :13:30. | :13:34.
1-0 win, because a millionaire wants to make himself a little home | :13:34. | :13:39.
in Devon. The meek will never inherit the earth! The greedy ones | :13:39. | :13:47.
well. Eviction day. Brian is a me - - removing machinery as the | :13:47. | :13:54.
bailiffs grow impatient. Are you getting packed up? Good man. He is | :13:54. | :13:58.
worried about his sheep still in the field. If you want to collect | :13:58. | :14:03.
them, you must make an appointment. What about the ones trying to land? | :14:03. | :14:10.
They will be dealt with. After 60 years, Brian is leaving Little | :14:10. | :14:15.
Heath. And the house can finally welcome its owner, who bought it in | :14:15. | :14:22.
2006 for his retirement. He offered Brian a new, and a job or 150,000, | :14:22. | :14:29.
but it was turned down. There is no victory in a pointless fight. I am | :14:29. | :14:33.
afraid that Bryan's intention was always to get to the point where he | :14:33. | :14:38.
basically had burnt all his boats. And when you do that, you have | :14:38. | :14:44.
nothing to sail away in. Brian has vowed to fight on. Living, he says, | :14:44. | :14:48.
in his car. You can see more on Brian Potter's six-year legal | :14:48. | :14:56.
battle on Inside Out South West tonight at 7.30pm here on BBC One. | :14:56. | :15:02.
Now it's your turn! A family from Cornwall say they've been waiting | :15:02. | :15:05.
weeks for their Housing Association to mend their heating and hot water | :15:05. | :15:07.
system. The couple and their one- year-old daughter from Camelford | :15:07. | :15:10.
have been relying on donated heaters, which cost around 15 a | :15:10. | :15:15.
day to run. Five properties on the estate are affected. It's thought | :15:15. | :15:22.
the problem is with the building's under-floor heating. The last five | :15:22. | :15:27.
weeks, we have not had any heating or hot water. And we have reported | :15:27. | :15:32.
best a number of times. We don't seem to get anywhere. Obviously, | :15:32. | :15:38.
we're very sorry that the tache and some of her neighbours have been | :15:38. | :15:41.
inconvenienced this way. I would like to reassure them that the top | :15:41. | :15:44.
priority is to get to the bottom of this problem and resolve it as | :15:44. | :15:51.
quickly as possible. It's time for the sport now and Natalie's here | :15:51. | :15:55.
with more good news from the rugby world. This is getting to be a | :15:55. | :15:58.
habit. We start with more success for Exeter Chiefs. They made it | :15:58. | :16:01.
three Premiership wins in a row by beating Wasps 15-12 at Adams Park. | :16:01. | :16:04.
With more on that and a notable win for the Cornish Pirates, here's | :16:04. | :16:12.
Dave Gibbins. It was illegal goalkeeping of Bin Nasir main areas | :16:12. | :16:18.
which won this for the juice, landing five penalties. Finding the | :16:18. | :16:24.
target again. Rob Baxter's side had to fight with all their might in | :16:24. | :16:29.
the last 20 minutes. After the cheeks went up to 4th place, it was | :16:29. | :16:33.
only for 24 hours as Leicester's drop goal at Saracens on Sunday saw | :16:33. | :16:38.
them move into the top four. In the championship, the Cornish Pirates | :16:38. | :16:44.
exacted revenge on Bristol in Penzance by one point. It was 11 - | :16:44. | :16:48.
it at the break with David Ford going over for the Pirates on his | :16:48. | :16:52.
99th appearance. Chris Morgan scored the vital five pointer in | :16:52. | :16:56.
the second period to the two penalties from Bristol to give the | :16:56. | :17:01.
Pirates the psychological advantage for the play-offs. Plymouth Albion | :17:01. | :17:07.
were outscored three - one in a 21 - 19 defeat by Nottingham at the | :17:07. | :17:10.
Brickfields with Karen Carpenter touching down for Albion, who came | :17:10. | :17:15.
back strongly after trailing 14 - 3 at the interval. James loves | :17:15. | :17:19.
slotted four penalty kicks in total. To the football, and as Meatloaf | :17:19. | :17:23.
once said, two out of three ain't bad. Our two victories this weekend | :17:23. | :17:31.
came from Exeter City and Plymouth Argyle. But the team everyone had | :17:31. | :17:34.
expected to win, Torquay, missed out on their chance to go top when | :17:34. | :17:36.
they succumbed to Bradford City. Earlier, our football pundit, Chris | :17:36. | :17:42.
Hargreaves, came in to take a look at all the action and goals galore. | :17:42. | :17:48.
Unexpected result but lots of goals and we can start with one of them. | :17:48. | :17:53.
Exeter, that must threaten relegation? Five points clear. They | :17:53. | :17:58.
have to be commended. He will do as well as he can with the players. | :17:58. | :18:03.
Drawing Archibald follows in. Poaching the goal for the defender. | :18:03. | :18:07.
The first 30 minutes, they were outstanding and that one then the | :18:07. | :18:12.
game. Here we have this assault from the player which results in a | :18:12. | :18:17.
penalty. As I said, it is a great start and this is such an important | :18:17. | :18:23.
penalty. Just calming the nerves so the players can relax. That is what | :18:23. | :18:30.
they must do at home to get out of this trouble. That is a good cross | :18:30. | :18:36.
and it lands well for Richard Logan. Let's move to Torquay. They are | :18:36. | :18:41.
fallible. What happened? The team that we thought were going to win | :18:41. | :18:46.
at the weekend? The manager has done a fantastic job and they did | :18:46. | :18:50.
take the lead on the day, which is frustrating. But they have not got | :18:50. | :18:57.
major worries. Good finishing. It isn't a major relief. Three points | :18:57. | :19:01.
from the top of the table. That is a fantastic run but on the day, | :19:01. | :19:09.
Bradford... This was a merry-go- round of chances. Unbelievable. In | :19:09. | :19:15.
the end, it was in the back of the net. One of those days. You have to | :19:15. | :19:21.
hand it to them. Brilliant result, Plymouth Argyle, 4 - 0. Something | :19:21. | :19:27.
has clicked? What a result? So pleased for the club. And the man | :19:27. | :19:35.
on the day was MacDonald. Lays the ball off, gets his reward. Into the | :19:35. | :19:39.
bottom corner. His family and friends were there because he is on | :19:39. | :19:45.
loan from Burnley. And he scores again. Following in that bad piece | :19:45. | :19:53.
of goalkeeping. Good strike. Like a terrier? He is! That was a vital | :19:53. | :20:00.
goal. 3 - 0. Back into the team. Good time to score from Darren. And | :20:00. | :20:07.
he runs up another great goal. The team that won this wanted it more. | :20:07. | :20:14.
Thank you very much indeed. Yeovil Town's relegation worries are | :20:14. | :20:16.
starting to ease slightly after their third successive home win | :20:16. | :20:19.
under new manager Gary Johnson. They beat Colchester 3-2 at Huish | :20:19. | :20:22.
Park, scoring all three in the second half. Loanees Dean Parrett | :20:22. | :20:25.
and Lawson D'Ath overturned a one goal deficit with top scorer Andy | :20:25. | :20:28.
Williams adding a third. They're now seventh from the bottom, just | :20:28. | :20:35.
above Exeter on goal difference. Finally, Mid Devon Cycling Club's | :20:35. | :20:38.
Jonathan Tiernan-Locke has won a second race in France in the space | :20:38. | :20:42.
of a week. The 27-year-old came first in the Tour de Haut-var | :20:42. | :20:47.
following his victory in the Tour de Mediterranean. Well done to him. | :20:47. | :20:50.
And a quick reminder, for more football, Late Kick off is on at | :20:50. | :20:59.
11.05pm tonight. And that is all the sport. Thank you. "Duck found | :20:59. | :21:02.
in duckpond", doesn't sound like much of a headline. But in this | :21:02. | :21:05.
case, the duck comes from America and it's been found thousands of | :21:05. | :21:08.
miles away from home on the boating lake in Newquay. Dozens of | :21:08. | :21:15.
birdwatchers and Spotlight's David George have been having a look. In | :21:15. | :21:19.
order to find you were rare dock, first, find the people looking for | :21:19. | :21:24.
it. And what they're looking at his best, the North American lesser | :21:24. | :21:28.
scaup, one of the tufted duck family is what this distinctive | :21:28. | :21:33.
blue black beak. A American ducks get blown over on hurricanes were | :21:33. | :21:38.
bad storms from the eastern seaboard and they pop across green | :21:38. | :21:43.
land, Iceland. And through Britain. And they find somewhere for a | :21:43. | :21:48.
double and ball is your uncle. This one has found its home on the | :21:48. | :21:53.
boating lake. Unbelievably, because this is such a small place and you | :21:53. | :21:58.
think a wild bird would gets booked. But it is hanging around. This is | :21:58. | :22:02.
John's only film of the DUP, first identified yesterday. How rare is | :22:02. | :22:11.
this? You might get one or two of them in Britain annually. In | :22:11. | :22:16.
Cornwall, they are not very common. This is quite exciting. They are a | :22:16. | :22:21.
very rare bird. How many, cross from America in one year? Not dirty | :22:21. | :22:31.
:22:31. | :22:31. | ||
money. -- not very many. This has local birdwatchers very excited. | :22:31. | :22:36.
The amount to people who ask us what we're looking at and they then | :22:36. | :22:40.
look and believe it is very different looking. It brings out | :22:40. | :22:43.
birdwatchers because it is unusually rare. For this part of | :22:44. | :22:48.
the world. Especially from North America. They reckon the local | :22:48. | :22:52.
ducks have accepted this new arrival and bird watchers say it | :22:52. | :23:00.
might even breed with local tufted ducks. And there it goes. Very | :23:00. | :23:06.
distinctive looking. Now a look at the weather forecast. We have had | :23:06. | :23:09.
the part of the country have had very little rain and there could be | :23:09. | :23:19.
:23:19. | :23:19. | ||
a trout. Is that the situation I looked at the reservoir levels | :23:19. | :23:23.
earlier on today and they are looking just about find. Eastern | :23:23. | :23:27.
and southern parts of the country are bearing the brunt of the | :23:27. | :23:33.
drought conditions. East Anglia and south-eastern parts of England will | :23:33. | :23:39.
see some conditions like that over the next couple of weeks and months. | :23:39. | :23:42.
There is little reason for us, particularly on Wednesday. Largely | :23:42. | :23:46.
cloudy conditions this week, outbreaks of rain at times and it | :23:46. | :23:50.
will feel increasingly mild as the week goes on, particularly for | :23:50. | :23:54.
Thursday. If we look at the satellite picture... There has been | :23:55. | :23:58.
a good deal of cloud across the UK and that will be the situation | :23:58. | :24:01.
right the way through the rest of the week with some breaks at times | :24:02. | :24:06.
but generally fairly cloudy skies. And this chart shows the number of | :24:06. | :24:10.
weather fronts to the North the bus at the moment. This is where they | :24:10. | :24:15.
stay for the time being with Tim -- high-pressure keeping them at bay | :24:15. | :24:19.
but quite a squeeze on the isobars, indicating the brisk wind today. | :24:19. | :24:23.
That will be a feature of the weather for the rest of the week. | :24:23. | :24:29.
But Gray is for all of us but good news for Sir first. -- not great | :24:29. | :24:37.
news. Not great conditions for surfing, about 3 ft today. But the | :24:37. | :24:47.
:24:47. | :24:48. | ||
conditions will pick up. And this well increasing. -- swell. And a | :24:48. | :24:52.
fairly good day for a walk across the beach. There is some rain in | :24:52. | :24:57.
the forecast for Wednesday. It looking at the charts for lunchtime | :24:57. | :25:00.
tomorrow, very little change and high pressure to the south with | :25:00. | :25:03.
this weather front straddling the UK but the change happens on | :25:03. | :25:07.
Wednesday with this weather system pushing and, bringing cloud and | :25:07. | :25:13.
outbreaks of rain and a very strong south-westerly wind on Wednesday. | :25:13. | :25:17.
He was a closer look at the radar picture from earlier today. You can | :25:17. | :25:24.
barely make out south-west England. Fairly thin cloud at times but | :25:24. | :25:28.
generally cloudy conditions persisting for most of us overnight. | :25:28. | :25:31.
Sunspots are patchy rain and drizzle possible but it will be a | :25:31. | :25:36.
much milder out compared with last night and temperatures holding up | :25:36. | :25:41.
at around five - eight degress. Tomorrow's starts and a cloudy note | :25:41. | :25:44.
with some outbreaks of patchy rain and drizzle for the first part of | :25:44. | :25:47.
the day in particular and maybe some breaks developing in the | :25:47. | :25:51.
clouds for the afternoon, especially to the eastern parts of | :25:51. | :25:56.
the region. Somerset, Dorset and perhaps East Devon seeing the best | :25:56. | :26:02.
brightness and a top temperature of 11 degrees. The Isles of Scilly | :26:02. | :26:06.
tomorrow, cloudy and occasionally damp with drizzle the outbreaks and | :26:06. | :26:16.
:26:16. | :26:20. | ||
it will be breezy with high water times at 1639. And Bideford, 1749. | :26:20. | :26:25.
Surfing... It does pick up over the next few days. 5 ft tomorrow and | :26:25. | :26:33.
messy on the north coast. And those coastal waters... The wind will be | :26:33. | :26:36.
from the south-west. Occasional drizzle and visibility is moderate | :26:36. | :26:42.
or good. Becoming increasingly man over the next two days, Thursday | :26:42. | :26:45.
will have temperatures up to around 15 degrees, very mild for February | :26:45. | :26:50.
but watch out for the rain on Wednesday. Thank you. Tomorrow on | :26:50. | :26:53.
