three times faster than wages. That is all from BBC News at

:00:00.:00:10.

13 severe flood warnings are issued by the Environment Agency as more

:00:11.:00:14.

rough weather approaches the South West tonight. Good evening. Welcome

:00:15.:00:20.

to Spotlight. This afternoon, communities around the coast were

:00:21.:00:23.

put on the highest state of alert, meaning there could be a danger to

:00:24.:00:27.

life. People have been shoring up their homes and businesses. We'll

:00:28.:00:31.

have all the details of who is at risk live from the Environment

:00:32.:00:35.

Agency in just a moment. Also tonight: Rail fares go up by an

:00:36.:00:39.

average of 3% here in the South West. Although it's the lowest price

:00:40.:00:42.

rise in four years, it's still causing hardship for some

:00:43.:00:52.

passengers. I can't afford to do it. I travel from Bridgwater to Exeter

:00:53.:00:56.

Monday to Friday, and I will have to look for another job.

:00:57.:00:58.

And struggling Torquay United sack their manager Alan Knill after a

:00:59.:01:04.

disappointing festive period. The public has been warned to stay

:01:05.:01:07.

away from the coastline from tonight and throughout tomorrow because a

:01:08.:01:10.

new deadly tidal surge is expected to hit Britain and could sweep

:01:11.:01:15.

people out to sea. The Environment Agency is warning another violent

:01:16.:01:18.

Atlantic storm is set to sweep across the UK during Friday and

:01:19.:01:20.

Saturday, and its gale`force winds will also force the tides upwards

:01:21.:01:26.

and send it over sea defences. The Met Office expects the rough weather

:01:27.:01:31.

to hit at midnight. It comes on top of a few weeks of poor conditions.

:01:32.:01:35.

John Henderson is live at the Environment Agency for us now. John,

:01:36.:01:46.

how bad is the situation? This is the map that they are paying close

:01:47.:01:51.

attention to her in Exeter. This shows the tidal risk over the next

:01:52.:01:57.

12 to 24 hours. It will turn red in a moment and that is the situation

:01:58.:02:01.

they expect over the next 12 hours. All along the north coast, so here,

:02:02.:02:07.

if it goes ripped red it means a risk of tidal flooding. A lot of

:02:08.:02:11.

people have been battening down the hatches. Emma Thompson spent the day

:02:12.:02:16.

in lieu to see how they are preparing for the storm there.

:02:17.:02:25.

People here preparing for the worst. Businesses were flooded out a year

:02:26.:02:29.

ago. The main street through the town under water. This was the

:02:30.:02:36.

restaurant on the fish quay. It is pretty much like the surge has found

:02:37.:02:46.

a hole somewhere, so even though we have been stealing things in, it

:02:47.:02:52.

still found a way. Today they are ready for the same to happen again.

:02:53.:02:59.

With things coming up the river, we think we should get the wellies in

:03:00.:03:03.

and the bags and tried to protect the place, but it is worrying from a

:03:04.:03:10.

business point of view. If you get flooded, you can't work and staff

:03:11.:03:15.

can't come to work, customers can't get to you, so it is quite worrying

:03:16.:03:21.

for the whole town. And people in the town aren't taking any chances.

:03:22.:03:26.

It will probably come at this very high tide, low barometer, it happens

:03:27.:03:35.

quite frequently. It is a one every other year event, so you should be

:03:36.:03:41.

prepared for it. Further up the coast in South Devon, the flood

:03:42.:03:45.

defence Gates in ten must have been shot to protect Sean Lynam

:03:46.:03:51.

properties. You can insure against flooding, only theft and fire, so

:03:52.:03:56.

the flooding is something you have to put up with. The whole of the

:03:57.:04:02.

south`west coast line is at risk of flooding because of tidal surges

:04:03.:04:06.

expected. Yesterday a holiday maker was washed out to sea in Cornwall.

:04:07.:04:12.

The search was called off today after the body of a man was found on

:04:13.:04:17.

a beach at Porthleven. As coastguards when we do get these

:04:18.:04:21.

large seas with spectacular breaking wins people are tempted to go and

:04:22.:04:24.

watch and that is our biggest concern. While it is spectacular,

:04:25.:04:30.

people underestimate the power of the sea, and those waves could

:04:31.:04:36.

contain rocks and debris which can injure you seriously. It is now a

:04:37.:04:41.

waiting game to see where are the worst of the weather will hit.

:04:42.:04:51.

Let's get the very latest. I am joined by Alan borrows from the

:04:52.:04:54.

Environment Agency stop what is the situation? This chart shows we are

:04:55.:04:59.

coming into severe flood warnings. We have 12 across Devon and Cornwall

:05:00.:05:06.

and so the whole Devon and Cornwall coast is on a severe warning. How

:05:07.:05:11.

many people do you have out and about and what will they be doing?

:05:12.:05:15.

We have people here doing the forecasting, people in incident room

:05:16.:05:21.

is managing people on the ground and floodgates but we also have

:05:22.:05:24.

communities looking at their own defences and making sure they are

:05:25.:05:27.

operating properly. What can people at home do other than sit and wait

:05:28.:05:35.

it out? They can keep an eye on the television and radio broadcasts

:05:36.:05:39.

because things will change. They can keep an eye on the flood line

:05:40.:05:45.

number, and they can prepare. They need to look at their personal

:05:46.:05:49.

belongings, what is important, and move them to safety. We are talking

:05:50.:05:54.

mainly about coastal areas, is that right? Yes, coastal flooding. We had

:05:55.:06:01.

fluvial flooding last week but this is coastal wedding and the tide and

:06:02.:06:08.

wins, you can see on this screen as it is read and that means a beer. So

:06:09.:06:14.

it is not inland you are worried about even though rivers are

:06:15.:06:18.

raging? We had a dry period for the last couple of days so the coastal

:06:19.:06:24.

environment is most important. How unusual to have 13 severe flood

:06:25.:06:28.

warnings? 2008 was the last time we had this but we did not have a

:06:29.:06:33.

coincidence of wind and wave and high tides and are forecast now

:06:34.:06:39.

suggests that we are now looking at severe storms for all Devon and

:06:40.:06:45.

Cornwall. When will it start? We are looking at about 5am tomorrow, I

:06:46.:06:51.

won't too ours either side of 7am, so we need to give people enough

:06:52.:06:56.

time to take action `` around either side. And you can get the latest

:06:57.:07:04.

with local radio and spotlight throughout the day tomorrow.

:07:05.:07:06.

Devon and Cornwall Police have declared a major incident plan in

:07:07.:07:10.

place for the predicted floods. With the latest I'm joined by

:07:11.:07:13.

Superintendent Chris Singer. What sort of scenario you working on? We

:07:14.:07:20.

are working with the Environment Agency and met office, looking at

:07:21.:07:24.

predictions. The area is were largely be coastal. It is the

:07:25.:07:33.

low`lying areas, so all those areas where we know high waves will cause

:07:34.:07:37.

damage, so it is those areas we anticipate will be worst affected.

:07:38.:07:42.

Looking at the list, it is a huge operation. It is but we are well

:07:43.:07:48.

versed at practising these things and putting them into place, so just

:07:49.:07:53.

in October for the last severe weather warning we had a similar

:07:54.:07:57.

plan, and we work closely with our colleagues, the environmental agency

:07:58.:08:02.

is the lead agency and provide us with the majority of information to

:08:03.:08:07.

help us with our plan. It is very unusual to have a major incident.

:08:08.:08:13.

Yes, it signifies an incident where RE sources or those of an agency

:08:14.:08:18.

could become overwhelmed so we need to work together to make sure we

:08:19.:08:22.

keep people safe. What is your message to them tonight? It is

:08:23.:08:27.

pleased they await from areas where there may be risk. The tragedy in

:08:28.:08:32.

the last few days are fresh in our minds and our thoughts go to those

:08:33.:08:36.

at fact that, but please don't place yourselves at risk, watching waves

:08:37.:08:40.

and storms, from a safe distance okayed that do not be tempted onto

:08:41.:08:44.

beaches and run the risk of being swept off her feet. `` off your

:08:45.:08:52.

feet. Thank you. Rail fares for South West train

:08:53.:08:55.

passengers went up today. They've increased on average by 3.1%. The

:08:56.:08:57.

Government says the below`inflation rise is the lowest for four years,

:08:58.:09:01.

but passenger groups point out prices are still rising faster than

:09:02.:09:07.

wages. Not everybody's returns to work yet so this morning's commute

:09:08.:09:14.

was quiet, where members of the Green party highlighted `` pointed

:09:15.:09:19.

out leaflets to passengers highlighting their campaign to bring

:09:20.:09:23.

the franchise back into public ownership. We believe it will mean

:09:24.:09:27.

lower fares and save money for the taxpayer because the privatised rail

:09:28.:09:33.

industry is a failure for the taxpayer. We have thrown money at

:09:34.:09:38.

industries rather than invested it in their railways and cut fares. But

:09:39.:09:43.

from today ticket prices go up an average of 2.8%. The price of an

:09:44.:09:48.

off`peak return from Penzance to London will increase by ?4. The cost

:09:49.:09:53.

of travelling from Paddington to Exeter and back at peak times will

:09:54.:09:58.

rise by ?7, while it will cost you an extra ?3 50 for an early`morning

:09:59.:10:04.

single from Birmingham to Plymouth. Locally the cost of an off`peak day

:10:05.:10:08.

return from Plymouth to Gunnislake rises by 20p. I travel from

:10:09.:10:13.

Bridgwater to Exeter Monday to Friday, and I have to look for

:10:14.:10:18.

another job because I can't afford to do it. Is it that serious? Yes.

:10:19.:10:27.

It is. I regard it as inevitable. I can't think of a year when fares

:10:28.:10:32.

have not gone up. If it is about 3% that seems to me to be kind of what

:10:33.:10:38.

you expect. I have no problems with the train I catch on a regular

:10:39.:10:43.

basis, so the prices are just part of the game, really. The government

:10:44.:10:49.

says the increase is in line with its pledge to peg any rise below

:10:50.:10:53.

inflation and that pay commuters' pay will continue to drive the

:10:54.:10:59.

programme of real modernisation `` what they pay. We recognise the

:11:00.:11:04.

attack on family budgets and have been investing to make sure the rail

:11:05.:11:11.

fares are kept under control. We are trying to ensure they don't see the

:11:12.:11:15.

sort of increases you have seen for the last decade. While this is the

:11:16.:11:20.

first below inflation increase in ticket prices for ten years, those

:11:21.:11:25.

prices are rising three times faster than wages, so many commuters will

:11:26.:11:29.

be starting the New Year with some difficult decisions to make.

:11:30.:11:32.

It's been confirmed the Indian government has terminated its

:11:33.:11:34.

contract with the Yeovil based helicopter manufacturer GKN

:11:35.:11:38.

AgustaWestland. The deal was for 12 British`made helicopters to form an

:11:39.:11:41.

elite squadron to transport the President, the Prime Minister and

:11:42.:11:47.

other VIPs. Indian defence officials said they scrapped the deal after

:11:48.:11:49.

allegations of corruption ` something the company has always

:11:50.:12:02.

denied. Barred owls are facing a serious threat to their future.

:12:03.:12:08.

Success of bad weather has wiped out their main food source, bowls.

:12:09.:12:14.

Conservationists say the last few years have been an unseeded disaster

:12:15.:12:25.

cash back bowls. `` bowls. The NHS in Somerset is launching a

:12:26.:12:28.

scheme to help pregnant women stop smoking. It's one of the first

:12:29.:12:32.

regions in the country to develop a specialist midwife role to work with

:12:33.:12:35.

mums`to`be to kick the habit. So how are things going? Phillipa is still

:12:36.:12:40.

of tobacco six months after giving birth to her second child. She

:12:41.:12:43.

managed to quit the habit after her first baby but relapsed because of

:12:44.:12:49.

postnatal depression. With the help of this specialist midwife in Yeovil

:12:50.:12:52.

she has managed to stay clear of smoking. By the time we decided to

:12:53.:13:00.

try former next baby, I was back on to ten, 15 a day, and I felt very

:13:01.:13:07.

quickly and I wasn't in the mindset to give up smoking, and so then I

:13:08.:13:14.

found it at that the service and I gave them a call and came in, and

:13:15.:13:20.

now here I am, still a nonsmoker. As well as being one of the first bases

:13:21.:13:25.

in the country to appoint an anti`smoking specialist, Somerset

:13:26.:13:27.

has been given new powers to dispense nicotine patches in

:13:28.:13:34.

maternity wards. At the moment they need to write a prescription and it

:13:35.:13:38.

needs to be signed by a doctor and go to the pharmacy, so it is a

:13:39.:13:42.

complex procedure that we are working to change some of those

:13:43.:13:47.

systems. From the evidence you can see her, smoking is clearly still a

:13:48.:13:50.

problem outside our maternity units. The government has set a target for

:13:51.:13:58.

2015. They want no more than 11% of women to be smoking at time of

:13:59.:14:03.

delivery. Smoking in pregnancy is especially dangerous for an born

:14:04.:14:07.

children, increasing the risk of miscarriage is by nearly a third.

:14:08.:14:12.

The baby is more likely to develop reading problems, so it is essential

:14:13.:14:15.

more pregnant women are given every chance to quit smoking.

:14:16.:14:21.

Thanks for joining us this evening. Still ahead in the programme: A big

:14:22.:14:25.

industry with big hope for the New Year ` the South West's massive

:14:26.:14:28.

contribution to the marine industry. And the latest on flood warnings

:14:29.:14:34.

across the South West. The recession has seen an increase

:14:35.:14:37.

in people in the South West wanting to retrain as counsellors. According

:14:38.:14:41.

to the profession's governing body, the British Association for

:14:42.:14:43.

Counselling and Psychotherapy, numbers have more than doubled in

:14:44.:14:57.

recent years. Three years ago Karen Green was made redundant. Although

:14:58.:15:02.

it didn't feel like it at the time, for her eight`year`old daughter and

:15:03.:15:06.

for Karen, it was the best thing that could have happened. Having

:15:07.:15:10.

lost her job, she retrained as a councillor and now works from home.

:15:11.:15:15.

It was a chance for a big life change for me. It had been a dream

:15:16.:15:20.

of mine for a long time but like many people who have done their job

:15:21.:15:25.

for 20 years, inertia sets in and I didn't quite have whatever I needed

:15:26.:15:35.

to make the jump. So when everything changed in the public sector, things

:15:36.:15:40.

shrunk, it was the obvious thing. According to the profession's

:15:41.:15:46.

governing body, nearly 85% of student counsellors are aged between

:15:47.:15:51.

30 and 50, indicating many have previously pursued a different

:15:52.:15:56.

career. For many years I worked with drug and alcohol addiction, and I

:15:57.:16:01.

find there is a huge need around that area for help, and I've always

:16:02.:16:13.

wanted to do something like that. Exeter's College has seen a huge

:16:14.:16:16.

increase in numbers entering the profession. Counselling is a popular

:16:17.:16:22.

sector to come and retrain, especially if people leave one job

:16:23.:16:26.

or are maybe redundant and have a sum of money, it is a way of

:16:27.:16:31.

thinking how to use that effectively and people often have held a real

:16:32.:16:35.

desire to train as a councillor and it is a times to do that, so we have

:16:36.:16:41.

seen that number is broadly have continued to be very broad `` very

:16:42.:16:48.

buoyant. As this therapy becomes less stigmatised, numbers referred

:16:49.:16:52.

for counselling have increased too. One area you might be able to find a

:16:53.:16:57.

job in the South West is in the marine industry. Do a quick search

:16:58.:17:00.

and you'll find plenty of vacancies. That's because we play such a big

:17:01.:17:04.

part in the sector. With almost ?900 million a year in turnover, we take

:17:05.:17:08.

the biggest share of the pie across the UK. Boat`building alone brings

:17:09.:17:13.

in more than ?500 million. And there are high hopes of further growth in

:17:14.:17:16.

this New Year. Louise Walter has been to one company in Cornwall

:17:17.:17:19.

that's looking to increase its workforce by a third. They've just

:17:20.:17:28.

loves boats. Designing them, building them, driving them, he

:17:29.:17:35.

loves them. Most people who want to be a boat builder do it for the love

:17:36.:17:41.

and creation of the objects we build. We feel privileged to be able

:17:42.:17:45.

to build such default and exciting things. And as is that passion that

:17:46.:17:52.

has seen his boat builder grow from one man and a bag of tools to a

:17:53.:17:57.

company employing 30 people. This year they sold their first foreign

:17:58.:18:01.

experts, including this tender for a superyacht. To get into the market

:18:02.:18:07.

Dave took a gamble. He reached in his own pocket to finance building

:18:08.:18:11.

this boat is a demonstrator, which he took to the Monaco yacht show.

:18:12.:18:17.

Tried to get a small company's name out there is quite difficult, and

:18:18.:18:21.

there are numerous clients we have been talking to about projects which

:18:22.:18:25.

haven't actually seen our work in the flesh, and it was an ideal

:18:26.:18:31.

chance to get them out on this boat. It is a decision he has not

:18:32.:18:37.

regretted, but it is not the only thing taking off. This company has

:18:38.:18:43.

gone from building a couple of votes a year to having four in production.

:18:44.:18:49.

To keep up with demand, the company will increase its workforce by a

:18:50.:18:54.

third in the next year. Mainly skilled tradesman but we need

:18:55.:18:58.

management skills as well, so we definitely need more project

:18:59.:19:01.

managers and as the business grows, we will need some backroom support

:19:02.:19:09.

staff. Cock wealth has seen year`on`year growth, but not all

:19:10.:19:14.

companies have phoned the recession plain sailing. Plymouth yachts had

:19:15.:19:22.

to reduce staff working hours and faced redundancy years ago, but the

:19:23.:19:27.

industry seems to have come out stronger. It shows how you can save

:19:28.:19:34.

money and make money, so the marine industry has been good at revaluing

:19:35.:19:38.

think what it does, slimming back to keep the top economic times. Will

:19:39.:19:45.

believes it is the variety of the marine industry that helped survive.

:19:46.:19:50.

You have entry`level building of canoes, kayaks, up to the large

:19:51.:19:56.

super yachts, so we have quality running through at a scale from the

:19:57.:19:59.

smallest projects up to the very top. He is confident further growth

:20:00.:20:07.

is possible for his members in 2014. Today's big sports story surrounds

:20:08.:20:09.

Torquay United, who've sacked their manager Alan Knill after only 11

:20:10.:20:13.

months in charge. The 49`year`old saved the Gulls from relegation last

:20:14.:20:16.

May, but they find themselves in serious trouble once again going

:20:17.:20:21.

into the New Year. With me is Dave Gibbins to discuss the events at

:20:22.:20:29.

Plainmoor. Why part company with him now? We have just started 2014 and

:20:30.:20:35.

that means the January transfer window opened yesterday, and that is

:20:36.:20:41.

when permanent signings take place. With Torquay United boss or next to

:20:42.:20:46.

bottom of the league, the board think a new manager could come in

:20:47.:20:51.

with his knowledge and start ringing new players and sell the assets they

:20:52.:20:55.

have. Look at Alan Knill's record since he took over as caretaker

:20:56.:20:59.

manager in cabaret and was appointed boss in May. Saving Torquay unit

:21:00.:21:08.

from the drop, he played 41, 19, and lost 20. Who will be in charge for

:21:09.:21:20.

Saturday's game? A likeable fellow but totally into ROM. They haven't

:21:21.:21:24.

advertised for the position of manager but they have names in mind.

:21:25.:21:29.

When will we know more? Is someone we know in the frame? They lost to

:21:30.:21:34.

Plymouth yesterday to nil and that sent them down to the bottom of the

:21:35.:21:40.

table. Chris Hargreaves, who has had links with Plymouth, used to play

:21:41.:21:45.

for them and was captain of Torquay United when they won the

:21:46.:21:50.

conference, beating Cambridge in 2009. He is first`team coach at

:21:51.:21:55.

Bournemouth so a good team manager with ten feet to offer. Also the

:21:56.:21:59.

ex`Carlisle boss could be in the frame. `` X Argyle boss. Let's go

:22:00.:22:10.

back to our top story tonight. A major incident has been declared by

:22:11.:22:13.

Devon and Cornwall Police as the Environment Agency warns another

:22:14.:22:16.

violent Atlantic storm is set to sweep across the South West during

tomorrow and Saturday. It's feared gale`force winds will force high

:22:20.:22:22.

tides upwards, sending them over sea defences. The Met Office expects the

:22:23.:22:26.

rough weather to hit at midnight. Let's get a last look at what is

:22:27.:22:29.

happening outside. John Kay joins us now from Newquay. John it looks

:22:30.:22:35.

dramatic, if you can even hear me. I can just about hear you but it is

:22:36.:22:40.

howling around and competing with the wind and tide. In the last

:22:41.:22:45.

half`hour since we did the 6pm news it has picked up and the rain has

:22:46.:22:50.

come in. It is a dramatic title here in North Cornwall but it is not this

:22:51.:22:55.

tide they are worried about, it is tomorrow morning and subsequent high

:22:56.:22:59.

tides in the next few days, so if you are sitting at home tonight I

:23:00.:23:02.

suggest you stay there for as long as you can because it is very

:23:03.:23:07.

unpleasant. It feels like Groundhog Day. We had such a battering in the

:23:08.:23:13.

last few weeks and months since the Saint Jude's storm here at the end

:23:14.:23:18.

of October, but it sounds like this time it is here in the south west we

:23:19.:23:22.

will bear the brunt of it. Because of what happened over Christmas in

:23:23.:23:26.

the East of England and in Kent and Surrey, people were cut off and have

:23:27.:23:32.

no power, the government in London and local authorities here in the

:23:33.:23:34.

South West arts stressing tonight they are ready and doing everything

:23:35.:23:39.

they can, they don't want what happened in the East of England at

:23:40.:23:44.

Christmas to happen here tonight and in the next few days, so Cornwall

:23:45.:23:49.

Council says that it is having emergency incident rooms aren't

:23:50.:23:56.

stand`bys tonight, company say they are ready, Devon and Cornwall police

:23:57.:24:00.

say the to respond. Figures are not as bad as it might be, and hopefully

:24:01.:24:05.

everybody is ready and protected. John, thank you for facing the

:24:06.:24:11.

elements tonight. Holly is here now with the latest for us. How is it

:24:12.:24:18.

looking? As we saw, it looks severe for

:24:19.:24:22.

tomorrow. We are expecting severe gales around the coast, combined

:24:23.:24:26.

with high tides to give us coastal flooding and the dish and we have

:24:27.:24:31.

some heavy showers. This is the area of low pressure we are watching

:24:32.:24:34.

developing in the Atlantic, ringing us a spell of rain in the evening

:24:35.:24:39.

but as it clears tonight into tomorrow we see isobars high and the

:24:40.:24:43.

winds ripped up, and that will send some heavy showers tomorrow. On

:24:44.:24:49.

Saturday those winds ease down, we will see further showers, and for

:24:50.:24:53.

tomorrow we have a Met Office yellow warning in force for wind. We could

:24:54.:25:00.

see cuts as much as 60 or 70 mph around the coast and well spread

:25:01.:25:06.

gales. We have those 13 severe flood warnings in force, that flood line

:25:07.:25:14.

number there. So today it has been the calm before the storm. We saw a

:25:15.:25:19.

few showers, now cloud is becoming up and that will bring a spell of

:25:20.:25:25.

rain this evening. Not huge amounts but falling unsaturated services,

:25:26.:25:30.

that rain is clearing to more of a scattering of showers overnight,

:25:31.:25:34.

some quite organised in the early hours, while these winds are

:25:35.:25:40.

whipping up. Lows tonight of six to eight degrees. Tomorrow we have

:25:41.:25:46.

strong winds in place with a risk of coastal flooding, especially around

:25:47.:25:50.

high tide. They are also whipping through these heavy showers,

:25:51.:25:54.

bringing a risk of hail and plunder with a few bright spells. Top

:25:55.:25:58.

temperatures tomorrow up to around eight or nine degrees. For the Isles

:25:59.:26:04.

of Scilly, again some strong winds here, gales expected, heavy showers

:26:05.:26:10.

through the day and that flooding risk as well. These are times of

:26:11.:26:17.

high water. These are when we are especially concerned about the risk

:26:18.:26:25.

of coastal flooding. And some very big waves obviously out at sea

:26:26.:26:28.

tomorrow and some very messy conditions. Our coastal waters

:26:29.:26:34.

forecast, the wind south`westerly aid to storm force ten, decreasing

:26:35.:26:41.

to six or seven later, those squally showers pushing through reducing

:26:42.:26:44.

visibility at times. The sea state to date will be high or very high at

:26:45.:26:50.

times in the West. Tomorrow we have those heavy showers and very strong

:26:51.:26:53.

winds developing, combining with high tides and that is bringing a

:26:54.:26:58.

risk of coastal flooding. Thereafter we head into Saturday and we will

:26:59.:27:04.

see a spell of heavy rain at first but it should ease off through the

:27:05.:27:08.

morning, more of a scattering of showers but those winds are looking

:27:09.:27:13.

letter for Saturday. That is the good news but we look ahead to

:27:14.:27:17.

Sunday and we have another storm, very wet and windy conditions

:27:18.:27:22.

expected, and we already have an early Met Office yellow warning for

:27:23.:27:27.

rain in force, and it is then quite unsettled as we head into the

:27:28.:27:32.

beginning of next week. We will bring you the latest on this

:27:33.:27:37.

pretty awful combination of different conditions across the BBC.

:27:38.:27:40.

Do take care. Good night.

:27:41.:27:45.
