:00:24. > :00:31.Hello and welcome to the film review. Anna Smith is here. We have

:00:32. > :00:37.got Jason Bourne in the film Jason Bourne, starring Matt Damon as the

:00:38. > :00:40.CIA operative con road. We have the JT LeRoy story which is a

:00:41. > :00:47.fascinating documentary about what was allegedly a great hoax. Then we

:00:48. > :00:59.have finding Tory, another franchise returns after quite a break. Jason

:01:00. > :01:07.Bourne and finding Dore. Jason Bourne. This is another entertaining

:01:08. > :01:16.episode in the franchise. The last one seemed to wrap things up quite

:01:17. > :01:33.well. They thought they would go back to basics. Matt Damon is at the

:01:34. > :01:37.CIA agent calling back his memories. He finds out in other secret about

:01:38. > :01:41.his past. We have two new characters who seem very familiar. Tommy Lee

:01:42. > :01:48.Jones, the frowning CIA head chasing him down and we have a more softly,

:01:49. > :02:02.softly CIA agent he might have a bit of a frisson with Borren. That's

:02:03. > :02:08.clickety click. My name is Heather Lee. I am not in charge. I wasn't

:02:09. > :02:14.here when you went missing. I can see you are going through the old

:02:15. > :02:26.files. Retracing your history. I know you are looking for something.

:02:27. > :02:42.Let me help you find it. Give me that phone. Yes, sir. Jason, do you

:02:43. > :02:47.remember me? Your dad was a patriot. He could see the threat America was

:02:48. > :02:52.facing and like you and he chose to serve his country out of a profound

:02:53. > :03:00.sense of duty. He would not want to see you are the agency. You have to

:03:01. > :03:05.stop this. You have to stop it now. Familiar stuff, as you can see. Paul

:03:06. > :03:10.Green grass works well with Matt Damon and the formula isn't broken.

:03:11. > :03:15.The best thing about this is the action, as always. We start off in

:03:16. > :03:21.Athens with riots, gripping stuff. Chases through the streets. We have

:03:22. > :03:25.a sniper who tries to track down Jason Bourne in London. Then it

:03:26. > :03:29.wraps up in Las Vegas. In terms of the action it is strong and worth

:03:30. > :03:37.seeing. I am not usually a big action fund. This always keeps me

:03:38. > :03:42.interested. I forget which one it was, DJs to Waterloo. It was

:03:43. > :03:50.amazing. It seemed to be so different from bond and so much

:03:51. > :03:56.edgier than James Bond. That is what I like. It is grittier. Not a lot of

:03:57. > :04:02.home but Tommy Lee Jones brings a light touch. My problem is they

:04:03. > :04:06.introduced more current plotline. There is a cyber guru who runs a

:04:07. > :04:10.social media group and it seems like too much. It doesn't give much room

:04:11. > :04:15.for the emotion with the plundering of the back story, which is what

:04:16. > :04:21.they always do. It seems like they have said, what more can we

:04:22. > :04:32.introduce that he can find out about consumer things have changed in the

:04:33. > :04:38.past ten years. The British Empire is gone, this is much edgier. They

:04:39. > :04:48.do try to introduce something new and edgier in everyone. Now, after

:04:49. > :04:52.JT LeRoy story. This is interesting. A writer claimed to be a young

:04:53. > :04:58.some confusion about his sexuality some confusion about his sexuality

:04:59. > :05:02.and he did well with several novels. It turned out to be a 40-year-old

:05:03. > :05:07.woman who had not only been conversing with lots of celebrities

:05:08. > :05:13.over the phone and the kitchens and therapists with the voice of this

:05:14. > :05:16.character but she had also hired her stepsister to appear as this

:05:17. > :05:24.character in public. You couldn't make it up. It turns out he might

:05:25. > :05:36.not be a he and might not even exist. What the heck is going on? I

:05:37. > :05:43.didn't know how to shut it down. It feels like the whole world is

:05:44. > :05:50.watching. Suddenly, I got a call. He says I am going to get you, he knows

:05:51. > :05:55.everything. There is a huge tornado that is about to head. The biggest

:05:56. > :06:03.literary hoax of our time. It is not a hoax. That is Laura Albert who was

:06:04. > :06:08.the writer. This has a lack of access to her. There have been

:06:09. > :06:14.documentaries about this. It is an amazing story. She drives the story

:06:15. > :06:18.forward by sharing her recollections and she also, interestingly, tipped

:06:19. > :06:21.conversations with these celebrities including Courtney Love who is

:06:22. > :06:29.always good value. It is a very entertaining watch. There are all

:06:30. > :06:33.kinds of issues here. There is a literary thing, is the stuff any

:06:34. > :06:40.good? What difference does it make if you know the back story? How

:06:41. > :06:46.exploitative was she in exploiting, for example, transgender issues,

:06:47. > :06:51.HIV? These are really very difficult issues for many people to talk about

:06:52. > :06:55.and to be seen to be exploiting it is something one expects she needs

:06:56. > :07:01.to be challenged on rather than telling us it was the greatest hoax

:07:02. > :07:06.in literature. It is incredibly complex. There are so many issues

:07:07. > :07:11.thrown up. This tells it more from her point of view, which hasn't been

:07:12. > :07:14.done before. I was wanting them the challenge more. It was a well put

:07:15. > :07:22.together a documentary from her point of view. They should challenge

:07:23. > :07:32.more. Finding Dory. I love finding Nemo. It is not as amazing and

:07:33. > :07:36.perhaps not quite so much crossover appeal for adults, but the family

:07:37. > :07:43.were all enjoyed. It is about the main character and she has that

:07:44. > :07:46.lovely high-pitched, almost hysterical voice which fits really

:07:47. > :07:53.well with a character who has short term memory loss. She has been

:07:54. > :07:57.swimming around the ocean for years trying to find her parents were

:07:58. > :08:00.trying to work out what she is doing their and this goes into her back

:08:01. > :08:11.story and she tries to remember her parents. Let's have a look. My

:08:12. > :08:22.family. I remember my family. They are out there somewhere. I have

:08:23. > :08:30.them. -- I have to find them. Where did you go? My parents. I remember

:08:31. > :08:38.them. I remember them. I have a family. They don't know where I am.

:08:39. > :08:46.We have to go. This is crazy. Where are you trying to go? California.

:08:47. > :08:58.That is all the way across the ocean. For once cannot we just enjoy

:08:59. > :09:03.the view. We have done our ocean travels, that part of our lives is

:09:04. > :09:09.open. The only reason to travel is so you don't have to travel any

:09:10. > :09:17.more. If you tell me the vegetarian shark is in it. There are a love of

:09:18. > :09:23.great new characters. She ends up in an aquarium. There is a host of new

:09:24. > :09:27.characters. I prefer it when it is in the ocean because it makes me

:09:28. > :09:34.want to go snorkelling. It is very funny and it is breaking box office

:09:35. > :09:40.records already. The surfing title? He doesn't resurface? It looks

:09:41. > :09:47.great. You're best of the week is the neon demon. This is a sort of

:09:48. > :09:58.horror thriller which starts off as a satire of the fashion industry.

:09:59. > :10:06.This has divided critics and divided audiences but I like that. It is

:10:07. > :10:10.high camp horror. The directors said it is a teen horror but I am not

:10:11. > :10:15.sure it is a teen horror. It is about exposure to an adult world.

:10:16. > :10:21.Jenna Malone is the person to watch out for. She has a tremendous role

:10:22. > :10:27.as a make-up artist. She was so good the plot was changed to make it

:10:28. > :10:34.revolve around her. Is it that some critics just don't get the acting?

:10:35. > :10:40.People are acting in a particularly pasteurised weight because that is

:10:41. > :10:44.the point. Exactly. You could say they were bad actors but they are

:10:45. > :10:55.not, the largest being very arch. This order. This is a thriller. He

:10:56. > :11:00.is hired to look after a woman went her husband has been arrested. She

:11:01. > :11:04.is a trophy wife and the interesting thing is he is suffering from

:11:05. > :11:11.post-traumatic stress disorder, so is the imagining a thread or does it

:11:12. > :11:13.exist? That is it for this work. You can catch up with their previous
