0:00:28 > 0:00:31of her beloved husband Sir Bruce ahead of a huge tribute
0:00:31 > 0:00:36to him on Sunday.
0:00:36 > 0:00:41We've got four mums on a mission - my team-mates Amal, Debbie,
0:00:41 > 0:00:46Jodie and Leigh.
0:00:46 > 0:00:53Stop You have run training.Around Regents Park this afternoon.I have.
0:00:53 > 0:00:59Our guest tonight is not part of your team.Right.You are going too
0:00:59 > 0:01:04fast now.I ain't bovvered! . I ain't bovvered! .Slow down, I'm not
0:01:04 > 0:01:11joking.I ain't bovvered! .Please, you've got to. No, please.I ain't
0:01:11 > 0:01:13bovvered! !
0:01:21 > 0:01:22Please welcome Catherine Tate. APPLAUSE
0:01:22 > 0:01:28Welcome back.Thank you.That is your inspiration.It has. I'm
0:01:28 > 0:01:32channelling that. Does that bear any resemblance to Catherine Tate in
0:01:32 > 0:01:37real-life?That's a lot better than I can do. Thats with a stunt double.
0:01:37 > 0:01:46Was it?NO! For goodness sake!You didn't do that speed at the end.I
0:01:46 > 0:01:54did.Tremendous.It's amazing the power of my natural athleticism! You
0:01:54 > 0:01:59are not here to talk about your character.Sadly.Serious
0:01:59 > 0:02:02documentary on the British bulldog we will get to it very shortly
0:02:02 > 0:02:06snoochl yes.We will.
0:02:06 > 0:02:09It's a dodgy time to be opening a restaurant with so many big
0:02:09 > 0:02:11names including Prezzo, Byron and Jamie's Italian all
0:02:11 > 0:02:12closing branches on the high street.
0:02:12 > 0:02:15Kevin's been to meet the staff behind a venture that is planning
0:02:15 > 0:02:20to buck the trend with a very different way of doing business.
0:02:20 > 0:02:2419-year-old Keenan has been out of work for the last three months.Job
0:02:24 > 0:02:28opportunities are scarce around here. There's not too many of them.
0:02:28 > 0:02:34There's not many places opening up. Sglm he lives in Solihull where the
0:02:34 > 0:02:37unemployment rate is more than double the national average and is
0:02:37 > 0:02:41considered one of the most deprived communities in the country. Right
0:02:41 > 0:02:46now, I just want to get a job, save up a good bit of money. Get myself a
0:02:46 > 0:02:50place.This could be the moment. His future is about to go in a very
0:02:50 > 0:02:55different direction. In just one week's time the country's first
0:02:55 > 0:02:58community-run traditional chippie will open its doors. It will not
0:02:58 > 0:03:01only give employment for the people who live here, but all the money
0:03:01 > 0:03:07made will be ploughed back into the local area. Keenan is one of the
0:03:07 > 0:03:12nine new who all live locally. Today he is being trained up in
0:03:12 > 0:03:16preparation for the grand opening.I was born just down the road from
0:03:16 > 0:03:20here. I went to the school across the road here.Managing the team is
0:03:20 > 0:03:29newly appointed local lad and former industrial cleaner, Michel. Mitchel?
0:03:29 > 0:03:34Has it changed much?An awful lot. It was quite run down around here.
0:03:34 > 0:03:38They've knocked all the old shops down and they have rebuilt these
0:03:38 > 0:03:47shops.The area has been part of a £523 million regeneration plan. What
0:03:47 > 0:03:52does it mean to you to be working here? It's turned my life around,
0:03:52 > 0:03:57brilliantly. I mean, I'm so thankful for the opportunity. My feet haven't
0:03:57 > 0:04:02touched the ground.I have to ask, can I try one?Yes.They're not bad.
0:04:02 > 0:04:10They're not bad. They're lovely. The chip shop was the brain child of
0:04:10 > 0:04:16Reverend Neil Roberts and is one of social enterprises in the UK.
0:04:16 > 0:04:20Someone has to open a fish and chip shop. You see a national chain will
0:04:20 > 0:04:25come in. Set it up and the profits will go off the area. We thought,
0:04:25 > 0:04:28why don't we run it.The great thing is that the money goes back into the
0:04:28 > 0:04:32community. So what does that money get spent on?Pay the staff and pay
0:04:32 > 0:04:38them properly. Pay our taxes. And the profits after that are maybe
0:04:38 > 0:04:42community events, support for families. Opening more businesses
0:04:42 > 0:04:46like community own brewery and look at some housing project as well.At
0:04:46 > 0:04:53the chip shop, the new manager the job is extra special. He will be
0:04:53 > 0:04:55working alongside Emma who is returning to work after seven years.
0:04:55 > 0:05:02It's really important. It's a bit of a life saver. It's going to help
0:05:02 > 0:05:06with my kids growing up. We will be able to provide for them.Working
0:05:06 > 0:05:10alongside your husband, how is that going to be?I don't know.What
0:05:10 > 0:05:17happens at home, stays at home. Stays at home. That's the answer.
0:05:17 > 0:05:21Storm Emma meets the Beast from the East and causes chaos across the UK.
0:05:21 > 0:05:26The day of the grand opening and the stormings have arrived.Morning.
0:05:26 > 0:05:32Freezing today, isn't it?Despite the snow, Mitchel is optimistic.
0:05:32 > 0:05:35Hopefully people will come. Not only have people come, there is already a
0:05:35 > 0:05:40queue waiting outside.I can't wait. Feeling hungry already.After two
0:05:40 > 0:05:51years of hard work, the doors can finally open.
0:05:51 > 0:05:58With all the excitement, Mitchel has for got one crucial thing. The
0:05:58 > 0:06:06chips. I'm getting stressed.The chips are ready eventually and the
0:06:06 > 0:06:10customers who have queued for over an hour in the snow can finally have
0:06:10 > 0:06:16their chippie tea.Would you like salt and vinegar.Yes, please.About
0:06:16 > 0:06:20time something like this happened around here, liven the place up a
0:06:20 > 0:06:23bit and get everybody on board. There is a a lot of people
0:06:23 > 0:06:28interested in it. It's fantastic idea.It says a lot, doesn't it,
0:06:28 > 0:06:33that we are queueing up in the snow to get chips. It really has opened
0:06:33 > 0:06:37up a lot of doors for me. It's the start of my employment life and
0:06:37 > 0:06:42hopefully a good career. It's given a few of my mates hope as well. If I
0:06:42 > 0:06:49managed to get a job in this area, anybody can.All you need is some
0:06:49 > 0:06:54curry sauce. Delicious.You wouldn't be down with that, would you?Not
0:06:54 > 0:06:59because it's curry. It's sauce. Sauce has ingredients in it.
0:06:59 > 0:07:03Catherine doesn't like anything with ingredients!What?What are you
0:07:03 > 0:07:08talking about? I like to look at food and go that is a carrot I know
0:07:08 > 0:07:13what is in that. A jug of sauce. Could be anything!Things that have
0:07:13 > 0:07:19been mixed up and broken and poured. Not for me!That could be...An
0:07:19 > 0:07:26apple. I know what's in that.Fair enough.You are here Catherine to
0:07:26 > 0:07:33talk about saving the BIG You have been
0:07:33 > 0:07:39BIG You have been BROTHER: BIG BROTHER: How much did you know
0:07:39 > 0:07:43about the health issues before you started this?I didn't know. I am a
0:07:43 > 0:07:50massive animal lover. I'm passionate about animal welfare. I didn't know
0:07:50 > 0:07:53the particular struggles and challenges that some of the bulldogs
0:07:53 > 0:07:57have. I didn't know. I was quite shocked when I saw exactly what a
0:07:57 > 0:08:00lot of them are going through.Yes. Breathing difficulties, joint
0:08:00 > 0:08:04difficulties we are talking about. Yeah. I certainly didn't know. I
0:08:04 > 0:08:09think a lot of people don't know. Really we did the programme to just
0:08:09 > 0:08:16raise awareness. Just about how you can be more responsible about where
0:08:16 > 0:08:23you get your dog. Yeah, they do, a lot of them suffer. It's because
0:08:23 > 0:08:27over the years because of human intervention we have shortened the
0:08:27 > 0:08:30muzzle. So they have that squashed up face that we really love and
0:08:30 > 0:08:36think is really cute. But a lot of the dogs struggle with that. A lot
0:08:36 > 0:08:41of the time bulldogs, it has got a lot better in recent years, but
0:08:41 > 0:08:45bulldogs used to say when they were at Crufts or dog shows you could
0:08:45 > 0:08:48hear the bulldogs before you saw them because of the breathing
0:08:48 > 0:08:52difficulties. That has been mainly eliminated out now because people
0:08:52 > 0:08:58are more aware and breeders are much more responsible. The awareness is a
0:08:58 > 0:09:02lot better. The awareness is a lot better. We are just trying to say
0:09:02 > 0:09:08there is a long way to go.Still a long way to go. The lifespan of a
0:09:08 > 0:09:13bulldog is about eight years whereas average dogs it's about 12 in the
0:09:13 > 0:09:19UK. People are spending a lot of money trying it fix the problem? Are
0:09:19 > 0:09:23they moving on. Is there a solution to this inThere are things in
0:09:23 > 0:09:30place, absolutely things in place to help. One of them is to bring in...
0:09:30 > 0:09:34To health test the dogs. It's not compulsory, but it's really, really
0:09:34 > 0:09:37useful because there are breeders out there who health test the dogs.
0:09:37 > 0:09:44The problem they have is the gene pool is getting gradually so much
0:09:44 > 0:09:49smaller to eliminate the problems. It's such a tricky thing.Looking
0:09:49 > 0:09:53back to what the breed standard used to be like when they were working
0:09:53 > 0:10:00dogs. They had to be athletic. If you think hundreds of years ago what
0:10:00 > 0:10:03the dogs look like? That is far removed from the bulldog we know
0:10:03 > 0:10:11now.Definitely.Over the years we have made them what we feel is
0:10:11 > 0:10:19cuter. The physical attributes we look for dogs that make them cute,
0:10:19 > 0:10:22the bulldogs, in some dogs that can cause them problems. It's a real eye
0:10:22 > 0:10:27opener. You have professionals in this documentary who are saying,
0:10:27 > 0:10:32it's like a call to arms. A lot of professionals saying if we are not
0:10:32 > 0:10:39careful this breed will not be fit for life. It's a hard thing to hear.
0:10:39 > 0:10:45It's a tricky thing because you meet bulldog owners and they are... I
0:10:45 > 0:10:49mean, every animal owner is devoted to their dog. Bulldog owners love
0:10:49 > 0:10:53their dogs so much.Nobody is saying they don't.Never, this is not to
0:10:53 > 0:11:00vilify. This is not to vilify people in anyway. A lot of the time it's
0:11:00 > 0:11:04admirable. A lot of the dog owners they really have an undertaking to
0:11:04 > 0:11:15take care of these dogs. They have medicine cabinets. It's a ritual to
0:11:15 > 0:11:18- for Bulger dog owners it's a ritual to get them out-and-out in
0:11:18 > 0:11:22the morning, like a baby.
0:11:22 > 0:11:25You can see Catherine's programme Saving the British Bulldog on 14th
0:11:25 > 0:11:28of March at 9pm on BBC One and at 10.45pm if you're
0:11:28 > 0:11:29watching in Scotland.
0:11:29 > 0:11:32How do you celebrate the life of one of the UK's best loved entertainers?
0:11:32 > 0:11:34With a spectacular all-singing, all-dancing
0:11:34 > 0:11:35variety show, that's how.
0:11:35 > 0:11:37Carrie was backstage the night the stars came out to pay
0:11:37 > 0:11:40tribute to our friend, the great Sir Bruce Forsyth And
0:11:40 > 0:11:48didn't they do well.
0:11:53 > 0:11:57Tonight at the London Palladium on the eve of what would have been his
0:11:57 > 0:12:0290th birthday, we remember one of our favourites -- Brucie.Mr
0:12:02 > 0:12:06Saturday night television. Watching the rest of the family laughing and
0:12:06 > 0:12:11watching him. So you are enjoying his programmes and also enjoying the
0:12:11 > 0:12:15atmosphere that he created. The truth of the matter is the British
0:12:15 > 0:12:20public were his audience. When he came out they went Our era was wild.
0:12:20 > 0:12:24Real showbusiness and we we went into it because we wanted to
0:12:24 > 0:12:28perform, not to be famous. There's a difference. That's what Bruce loved.
0:12:28 > 0:12:33He was a good friend to he m. He was so kind. I met him, he's a huge
0:12:33 > 0:12:36legend of showbusiness, I'm nobody. He took me under his wing and
0:12:36 > 0:12:39generous with with his time, knowledge and wisdom. He embodied
0:12:39 > 0:12:45variety. A Jack of all trades, master of all trades. He had a
0:12:45 > 0:12:50remarkable ability to be very rude to people and they didn't mind.I
0:12:50 > 0:12:53always loved that. We had a similar jaw line. So you know. You have the
0:12:53 > 0:13:03chin.For all I know he was relate toed to me. Late -- related to me.
0:13:03 > 0:13:07He was such a good friend.I will miss him. It's his birthday
0:13:07 > 0:13:13tomorrow. Happy birthday Brucie.I'm backstage where preparations are
0:13:13 > 0:13:20under way for tonight's performance. There are singers, actors,
0:13:20 > 0:13:24entertainers. Everything Bruce would have held dear. Michael are you in
0:13:24 > 0:13:28the bathroom? Good luck. Break a leg. That is what you say in
0:13:28 > 0:13:33showbusiness, isn't itMichael Ball, up you go. No warm-up. These die
0:13:33 > 0:13:39guys, professionals!
0:13:39 > 0:13:43guys, professionals!Guided to the right place. It's here.Break a leg.
0:13:43 > 0:13:48We are about to start. They are just doing their last bit of tapping. I'm
0:13:48 > 0:13:55off to watch from the wings.
0:14:01 > 0:14:07STRICTLY THEME TUNE As the night goes on the heart felt
0:14:07 > 0:14:14tributes keep coming. # You'll be there
0:14:14 > 0:14:22# Between each line of pain and glory. #
0:14:22 > 0:14:24Good for you.Yeah. # You make me feel so young
0:14:24 > 0:14:28# You make me feel there are songs to be sung
0:14:28 > 0:14:34# As to be wrong and a wonderful thing... #
0:14:34 > 0:14:39How was it?What a lovely atmosphere.What is it like out
0:14:39 > 0:14:42there?It's great. You look down and seeing loads of
0:14:42 > 0:14:46familiar faces out there. Everyone coming to do the same thing. This is
0:14:46 > 0:14:50the stage to do it, London Palladium, Brucie's second home.The
0:14:50 > 0:14:54fact they are asleep takes the pressure off a little bit.For the
0:14:54 > 0:15:05grand finale, performing a song that Brucie just loved, Dame Shirley
0:15:05 > 0:15:06Bassey # Being in love
0:15:06 > 0:15:15#.
0:15:23 > 0:15:25You'll be able to see the full show on Sunday night.
0:15:25 > 0:15:28Sir Bruce: A Celebration is on at 9pm on BBC One.
0:15:28 > 0:15:30We are joined by Sir Bruce's wife, Lady Wilnelia Forsyth.
0:15:30 > 0:15:34A warm welcome to the show.
0:15:34 > 0:15:42Thank you.That must have been bittersweet in a way, a lovely
0:15:42 > 0:15:46sensation to see all those people in that room speaking so fondly about
0:15:46 > 0:15:52Sir Bruce. It was an incredible night and as you can imagine very
0:15:52 > 0:15:58emotional for us as a family, but it is something we will treasure for
0:15:58 > 0:16:04ever. There was so much love and affection there. We had not only the
0:16:04 > 0:16:10family, but our closest friends and a lot of fans. The atmosphere was
0:16:10 > 0:16:15incredible and I hope if people watch the show on Sunday they get
0:16:15 > 0:16:21that kind of atmosphere as well. What is it like for you when you
0:16:21 > 0:16:24hear the stories of people saying how he touched their lives and how
0:16:24 > 0:16:32he made them feel?I have always been extremely proud of him. Not
0:16:32 > 0:16:40only because of his professional achievement, but personally he was
0:16:40 > 0:16:46an incredible husband and father. One example I can give you, we have
0:16:46 > 0:16:51so many letters from so many people and one of the letters was this lady
0:16:51 > 0:16:56who mentioned she lost her mother at the beginning of the year and then
0:16:56 > 0:17:01her father had Alzheimer's. But somehow he did not remember her, but
0:17:01 > 0:17:06somehow he remembered Bruce. All the time the doctors used to come into
0:17:06 > 0:17:11his room he used to make them say, nice to see you, to see you nice. It
0:17:11 > 0:17:19shows you that somehow he made people laugh, like you. So glad you
0:17:19 > 0:17:27are here.I have an amazing memory of Bruce and I was due to do a show
0:17:27 > 0:17:32with him that he could not be there in the end. I was really nervous
0:17:32 > 0:17:38because I was doing a tribute to Victoria Wood and Bruce sent his own
0:17:38 > 0:17:43personal pianist to my home to practice with me.Really?Yes he
0:17:43 > 0:17:49did.We used to love it, it was always a highlight. We ended up
0:17:49 > 0:17:56going through his routine at one point. He was showing us what he did
0:17:56 > 0:18:01in bed before breakfast. You were married 34 years. What are your
0:18:01 > 0:18:06memories of when you first met Sarah Bruce? What was your first
0:18:06 > 0:18:12impression? I met him in 1980. I was living in Paris and I was invited to
0:18:12 > 0:18:18be on the Miss world competition as a judge five years before I was Miss
0:18:18 > 0:18:23world. We met and he was one of the judges as well. I thought it was
0:18:23 > 0:18:31very kind of him. He was making the girls so relaxed and at ease, and he
0:18:31 > 0:18:37asked one of them, what do you eat at Christmas? It was a silly
0:18:37 > 0:18:42question, but then I could see he was so wonderful. After the
0:18:42 > 0:18:46competition finished they had the gala and we danced and we danced all
0:18:46 > 0:18:51night and it took a bit of time for him to ask me to dance. I had a
0:18:51 > 0:18:56friend of mine, he thought it was my boyfriend, and then after that he
0:18:56 > 0:19:00asked me for a dance and I never went back. One of the things that
0:19:00 > 0:19:03were special that he told me when the evening was finished coming he
0:19:03 > 0:19:07kissed my hand and said goodbye and said, by the way, I have got five
0:19:07 > 0:19:14daughters. I thought, why is he telling me that? Maybe he does not
0:19:14 > 0:19:20want to see me again. But these girls have been amazing in my life
0:19:20 > 0:19:25and I want to wish them a wonderful mother's day and to all the mothers
0:19:25 > 0:19:30in England. They have been incredible and they have been my
0:19:30 > 0:19:38rock. It has been a difficult time for all of us. But somehow we are
0:19:38 > 0:19:44strongly together and I am so glad to have them as part of my life.
0:19:44 > 0:19:50Thank you so much for coming in and we will watch on Sunday night.Thank
0:19:50 > 0:19:55you, and can I say quickly for the people who are donating, thank you
0:19:55 > 0:20:02for the donations and for married fury and you can go to the website
0:20:02 > 0:20:06and Puerto Rico is still struggling in many ways and I know Bruce will
0:20:06 > 0:20:11thank you as well.Thank you for coming in. We look forward to the
0:20:11 > 0:20:12Sunday night celebration.
0:20:12 > 0:20:14We look forward to the Sunday night celebration.
0:20:14 > 0:20:17Just four days until Alex sets off on The Mother Of All Challenges -
0:20:17 > 0:20:20a week of swimming, climbing, cycling, caving and running
0:20:20 > 0:20:24all to raise awareness for maternal health and much needed money
0:20:24 > 0:20:27for Sport Relief.
0:20:27 > 0:20:30Thankfully I'm not alone - time to meet my next
0:20:30 > 0:20:38two "mothers in arms", Amal And Debbie.
0:20:38 > 0:20:42The mothers and I are facing a difficult week of challengers, but I
0:20:42 > 0:20:47know that together we can do it. There is something really nice about
0:20:47 > 0:20:51a team of people doing something as opposed to an individual. They have
0:20:51 > 0:20:56been training hard for the past few weeks and today it is time for me to
0:20:56 > 0:21:00acclimatise myself and braved the cold waters. The challenge certainly
0:21:00 > 0:21:06feels real now and I think anxiety is building.Today is the first time
0:21:06 > 0:21:09we get to take a look at Alex and make sure she is in the right
0:21:09 > 0:21:13condition and the right place to take on this monumental challenge.
0:21:13 > 0:21:17It is difficult to swim because you are breathless before you start. You
0:21:17 > 0:21:22know it will be called, but it is another level. The one thing I know
0:21:22 > 0:21:26is psychologically she is tough, which is a great thing on a
0:21:26 > 0:21:31challenge like this. Alex is quite a bit behind the others. They started
0:21:31 > 0:21:41a bit before her and they have been absolutely tenacious.
0:21:41 > 0:21:44absolutely tenacious. We are going to keep it light and fun. I hope no
0:21:44 > 0:21:52one falls off. My name is Amal, I am 31 and I live with my husband and my
0:21:52 > 0:21:59baby boy. John and I wanted a baby, so getting pregnant was not a
0:21:59 > 0:22:03surprise. What was surprising was the degree to which it affected me
0:22:03 > 0:22:09physically and then later mentally. I felt like a different person. I
0:22:09 > 0:22:13really expected that to lift at some point during the pregnancy. But it
0:22:13 > 0:22:20did not.Amal's mood was affected by her lack of energy in the pregnancy
0:22:20 > 0:22:24and due to the position of the baby she had to have an emergency forceps
0:22:24 > 0:22:29delivery and this caused a long-term injury.Household tasks were
0:22:29 > 0:22:34difficult for me. I found it difficult picking him up. I realised
0:22:34 > 0:22:39he was not happy, what I did not realise was I had postnatal
0:22:39 > 0:22:43depression. I was irritable, I was not enjoying being a mother, I was
0:22:43 > 0:22:49just doing it.With the help of her husband and family, Amal began to
0:22:49 > 0:22:54feel more like herself and was able to bond with her son.I started with
0:22:54 > 0:22:59a personal trainer, I met with the women's health physiotherapist and
0:22:59 > 0:23:04together they helped guide me. I focused on getting back to exercise
0:23:04 > 0:23:09and I think that is when I started turning a corner in my
0:23:09 > 0:23:13understanding.Having lived with that experience it inspired Amal to
0:23:13 > 0:23:18volunteer herself for the challenge. For me it marks that gap between a
0:23:18 > 0:23:24relatively difficult period in my life and a new hopeful, more able
0:23:24 > 0:23:30era.That is brilliant. What about you, Debbie, why did you think this
0:23:30 > 0:23:38is for you?I am menopausal, what can I say? You do random. But for me
0:23:38 > 0:23:44it is almost like the end to my recovery. My first two pregnancies
0:23:44 > 0:23:49were fine and with baby number three I suffered a placenta eruption. I
0:23:49 > 0:23:54was rushed to the hospital, emergency Caesarean, and she came
0:23:54 > 0:23:58out and she was basically dead. There was no heartbeat, she was not
0:23:58 > 0:24:03breathing and she was like that for 19 minutes. But they managed to get
0:24:03 > 0:24:09her going. I asked if there would be quality of life? I was told there
0:24:09 > 0:24:17would be some quality of life. She is absolutely perfect. She is so
0:24:17 > 0:24:23lucky.I am so lucky. After a difficult start with Ellie, a year
0:24:23 > 0:24:26later Debbie had her fourth daughter and it was a few months after this
0:24:26 > 0:24:32birth that she found herself unable to cope.Everything seemed very dark
0:24:32 > 0:24:36and they did not seem to be an end to the darkness. I had a meltdown
0:24:36 > 0:24:43and I knew I had to go see someone. I was able to realise that where I
0:24:43 > 0:24:47had been so super strong when Ellie was born, you cannot carry on being
0:24:47 > 0:24:54that strong for ever. Part of the reason I want to do this challenge
0:24:54 > 0:24:58is to raise awareness. So many mothers out there are struggling. It
0:24:58 > 0:25:08is OK to say, I am struggling. It is going to be fun. 50 for goodness'
0:25:08 > 0:25:14sake.
0:25:14 > 0:25:18sake.I just want to relish the fact I have a healthy body, a healthy
0:25:18 > 0:25:24mind.I think together we are a strong team. We have given birth, so
0:25:24 > 0:25:27this is going to be a walk in the park.
0:25:27 > 0:25:31We are doing it! APPLAUSE
0:25:31 > 0:25:39She says. We will get to the team in a second.

0:26:13 > 0:26:20Now, the team. Welcome back. Before we start I have to say thank you so
0:26:20 > 0:26:24much for sharing the story is so honestly. It will resonate with so
0:26:24 > 0:26:29many mothers out there which is the point. You have already done a lot
0:26:29 > 0:26:34in terms of that. But, yes, the challenge still does lie ahead.
0:26:34 > 0:26:41Let's recap. What are we doing? Open water swimming in Loch Ness. We will
0:26:41 > 0:26:50be cycling through the Lake District.
0:26:51 > 0:26:55Earlier on you said when you first heard about it you thought it was a
0:26:55 > 0:27:01nice day out.I did. That is what comes from not reading the small
0:27:01 > 0:27:08print. How are we feeling? We missed a week of training because of the
0:27:08 > 0:27:14snow and, Amal, you are ill.How are you now? I am fine now, but I would
0:27:14 > 0:27:19not have been if I trained. I am glad I had a few days off. I was hit
0:27:19 > 0:27:24with a cold, it was bad.You are not taking your families with you and it
0:27:24 > 0:27:31is tough because mother's day is coming.Yes, because we start on
0:27:31 > 0:27:35mother's day. Physicality aside, that is my biggest worry. Six days
0:27:35 > 0:27:40is a long time to be away from little Ted and your children as
0:27:40 > 0:27:47well. Jodie, that is something that worries you.Yes, mother's day is a
0:27:47 > 0:27:52nice event. I wake up and have pancakes and coffee. They make you
0:27:52 > 0:27:58pancakes?Yes, it is so nice. It is a big deal for me and it is the
0:27:58 > 0:28:06longest time I have been away from my youngest. The oldest one is old
0:28:06 > 0:28:10enough to have a conversation with and they know about it, but the
0:28:10 > 0:28:16youngest one does not. It will be mentally really challenging. We do
0:28:16 > 0:28:20the swim on a Sunday. Your faces say it all. Is that what you are most
0:28:20 > 0:28:29worried about, Leigh?Yes, it is horrific for me. I have got out a
0:28:29 > 0:28:36couple of times swimming in Loch Lomond.You are brave.Stupid is
0:28:36 > 0:28:40maybe a better word for it. Some ladies do it for fun and swim in
0:28:40 > 0:28:44their bathing costumes at this time of the year. But I had the wet suit
0:28:44 > 0:28:51on and it is still awful.I will see you on Saturday.
0:28:51 > 0:28:54Sir Bruce: A Celebration is on Sunday on BBC One and you can
0:28:54 > 0:28:56see Catherine's programme Saving the British Bulldog
0:28:56 > 0:28:57on BBC One next Wednesday.
0:28:57 > 0:29:01Tomorrow we'll be joined by Hollywood star Susan Sarandon.
0:29:01 > 0:29:03She is our third Oscar winner
